Looking towards SE sky, traveling in an easterly direction, oval (UFO??) surrounded all around by very bright lights around a vertical oval shape moving moderately, not fast, not slowly caught my eye. Watched about 5 minutes, not wanting to search for my cell phone. Not close by, cannot estimate distance, but high up, then saw it through tree branches, then disappeared quickly (perhaps behind a cloud??). Certainly very strange.

This light was in Brooklyn, 12:30 AM, looking towards Manhattan. caught my eye, stayed in one place for at least 10 minutes then clouds covered . At first I thought it was a helicopter, but it did not move.

Two lights high in sky appeared to be on object hovering stationary in sky. Fiancée and I witnessed this leaving dinner. My friend separately texted me in this moment and reported seeing this as well. Got in car and got onto main road (less than a minute or two in car) when object was suddenly hovering above other side of road to the west. Object appeared very large considering width of lights in relation to height in sky. Object then stayed in this spot for some time. My fiancée and I traveled in car about 20 minutes trying to get closer. Object then seemed to begin to move quickly and steadily north/northwest. Jupiter and Venus

I saw the two light when I went to the store.i have been living at this house for over 20 years and have never seen these two lights in the past. The lights are horizonaly side by side. They do not twinkle. Like I said they look like headlights from a plane but are not moving. I am a 63 year old man, carpenter that just got home from work for the day. Jupiter and Venus

Bright white rings of lights moving erratically in the sky over the mountains in the front & back of house. Four of them landed on the mountains in front of house 10 miles away and 10 of them landed in woods in back of house 5 miles away. Through binoculars I could see rings of orange light & rays of orange & white & red lights shooting up.

I went outside to gather kindling and looked up at the sky as usual. In the northern sky, I noticed a string of evenly spaced lights traveling across the sky from west to east. The lights were orbs, somewhat dim, perhaps due to light pollution, and were going across the sky as if pulled along by a string, like a trail of lights moving across the sky. I ran inside and called my husband out. They were still there when he came to look. He stayed outslde, and I ran inside to grab my phone to film it. By the time I returned, they were gone. My husband reports that they just faded and then disappeared. It was already dark at night. The sky was clear at the time and several stars were out. There did seem to be a dim line connecting the lights, but I couldn't be sure. I can't actually say how many there were because there were so many going across the sky, single-file. The orbs were white light all shaped and sized the same. My husband and I live in a rural area alongside a river. Many cows and fields around. The lights came from the direction of a ridge in the northwest that borders our skyline. There was no sound associated with the objects. I am a writer/artist. My husband is a retired plumber.

About 5:40 PM my 11-year-old son and I were driving on route 212 from Saugerties New York, to Woodstock, New York. It was twilight. Roughly halfway there, I saw something in the sky in front of me (south/southwest). It was in the distance. It was a perfectly straight column of white smoke or vapor, like a thick contrail, with darker gray at the bottom. It looked perpendicular to the ground. To both my son and me, it looked like something was falling out of the sky, straight downward. It was not falling quickly, or in an arc, like a meteorite. We were able to see it for a couple of minutes before the road made a turn, and I lost sight of it. Neither of us saw it again, although we did see the empty sky where it should’ve been. A bright star or planet appeared there. My son, and I were both very struck by how strange it was, and how unlike anything we had seen before. As we arrived in Woodstock, we both saw two trails at angles to each other that appeared to be airplanes. They might have just been regular airplanes, but it’s not often that you see two together in the sky over Woodstock. When I got home, I posted a description of the experience on Facebook. A friend who lives in the area mentioned that she had also seen it while driving, and that it looked the same to her. I am a 61 year old psychotherapist, and the other adult that saw this is the director of a school.

Coming down I - 87 highway my brother in law pointed out the lights in the sky but we noticed they were spinning. Whatever it was took off so fast and so weird how it went higher. Looked like a triangle with a circle of lights under it. My brother in laws seen it, I seen it and my friend seen it. Like sober, thought that shit was just in the movies please be careful out there. At ZBW R38 0825z position 4443N/07407W FL350 ICV93PK reported a light estimated at FL600-FL800 an unknown distance ahead flying in an erratic patterns. Additionally, 3 lights appeared to create a triangle then come together as one light, then repeat multiple times. A previous aircraft handed off to CZUL by R38 reported the visual as well. UFO reporting at 206-722-3000 was notified at 0840z as well as speaking briefly to the DEN offline to obtain the phone number to report the situation. No impact to ATC or ATC services resulted from the sighting.

Driving my kids to school. Some clouds, but none near the moon. Noticed an almost black area towards the notion left. Moved to the right side over the crater, and then to the middle, Middle left of the top The closer it got to the top, the smaller in height, not width, it became, until it was gone, as if it went around. There was nothing above the moon, no clouds, no aircraft, after it disappeared No lights, just a black mass

I was driving my daughter around with my roommate so she could take a nap. We saw an unusual object flying nearby that was diamond-shaped. It had two red lights that stayed on and two white lights that were flashing in a sequence uncommon for aircrafts from my experience. My roommate just sat there stunned while I took pictures as I stopped on the railroad tracks.

I was driving south on the road at not a fast speed. A metallic silver sphere that was reflective appeared at about a 75 degree angle and was clear enough to see detail but I could not estimate the distance in the sky though had a clear visibility and could see enough detail to see that only the top half of the sphere was showing, there seemed to be no bottom half but it seemed like the top of something and I could only see the top which seemed like a bubble with possibly a window because the silver metallic material was different that the front what seemed like window. The silver was reflective and it was a completely clear day with very blue sky and no clouds whatsoever. It was visible clearly for about 5 seconds and I continuously was looking at it and without moving it disappeared completely taken over by the blue sky as if it was never there. The object was completely stationary and did not move.

First I saw a strange glowing red light it came close to my vehicle. It could have been a small helicopter. Then a few minutes later I saw a octagon shape, like a sphere gliding towards Catherine street. It looked flat and solider the body was dark. It did not appear to be commercial airline type. It was a bigger object than the first. It had lights that were red no windows It looked like a military jet flat, octagon, dark. Flying low near the top of trees . I forgot the date after seeing it. I am not sure of the shape other than the unlisted octagon. The first small craft appeared to change shape. I thought maybe a spy plane.

I was driving home from up the island and as I was making a left onto scuttle hole road when I noticed 3 bright white lights in a triangle pattern (1 light at each corner of the triangle but no visible craft was seen, just the lights) and as I made the left on to scuttle hole road I tracked the lights heading NW at an accelerated rate. The three lights then became four lights and the lights were all of a sudden lined up next to each other but not in a straight line. You could tell that each light was an individual object at this point. As I traveled North on scuttle hole road I lost track of the lights as they headed into the clouds. The hole experience lasted about 20 seconds. Im sure other people on the highway saw the lights as well as they seemed too bright and too low to the ground to be an airplane of sorts.

Since the summer we thought they were stars but we noticed they move and change size shape and color and look like they are hovering lower to the ground. When you zoom in they spark, change shape and color and hover in the sky and they move along the sky like how stars move over the night period. But they look different.

Driving on salt point turnpike heading south/west I noticed a bright reflecting object. It seemed to be diamond or cylinder shape. It seemed to have some exhaust or other oscillating air/field around it. I estimate it was about 10-15,000 feet up, because it was much lower in the sky than a jet passing overhead. I could not tell the distance or size. It would float still when I was looking at it. Sometimes I would look back and it would appear to have moved. Disappeared after 3-5 minutes. The flight tracker I checked did not have anything close by - only much further south.

I was taking out the garbage for the next morning pickup at a little past 9:30 PM Jan 20th, and I happened to look up in the sky towards the ocean (southeast). My attention was drawn to what I thought were 3 aircraft flying in an odd formation past and a little higher (in perspective) than the neighboring rooftops across the street. Each had one orange light, with no other lights visible (no navigation or anti-collision lights, etc). While the first formation was moving in a northeast direction, the middle object in the first formation of 3 made a sharp sudden dive towards the ground and pulled back up as sharply, rejoining the other two objects in formation. They were followed by a second formation of 5 additional objects (lights) perhaps 5 to 10 seconds behind the first formation, flying at a similar speed and in the same northeast direction. Also with one orange light each, with no navigation or anti collision lights visible on any of the group in the second formation. There was no sound from any of the objects in either formation, either during or afterwards. The shape or outline could not be determined in the short time both formations were visible (about 30 seconds, plus or minus). Sight of both formations was lost behind trees and other houses, and may have gone behind low clouds in that part of the night sky when I went to the back of the house to try and regain sight of them, without any luck. Usually, if there are helicopters flying overhead or nearby, they can easily be heard. If there 2 or more, the racket is unmistakeable. Small or large aircraft also are unmistakeable. I pretty much thought these objects were drones, or maybe ultralight aircraft, except that the sky in the NYC area is pretty busy at any given time, and you would have to be a complete idiot to fly in a formation (or 2!) at night without navigation or anti collision lights. I never gave it any real thought it could be anything other than a man-made event designed to perpetrate a hoax, or sheer stupidity...maybe. The first photo is of the neighborhood, with overhead wires removed and sky darkened to illustrate the objects and direction. The second photo is a portion of a FAA sectional chart, which seems to indicate a generalized path for aircraft to take using Hylan Blvd as a possible navigation aid (TK-502). The last photo is a screen shot taken from flightradar24, showing the path many aircraft take also using Hylan Blvd as a navigation aid. Both formations of objects seemed to follow the same route. The fuzzy dot is my approximate location.

Saw an unidentified object across the building that hover around and went up very fast. It happened early in the morning, went to the bathroom, heard a constant faint sound that vibrates and then when I came back to the room I saw this object on the corner of the roof of Yorkville tower at the window. The building is across my building and we live in 32nd floor. It was very fast, I saw a light it was faint then turn bright then hovered around then goes up in the air very fast.

Saw a very bright light in the field ahead and slowed down the truck. Saw a large, brightly lit, oval-shaped craft, emitting a light yellow-gold in color ascending into the sky at the same even speed an elevator would ascend. Once it came close to the clouds, it took off to the left and disappeared from sight. Husband got out of the truck to look and saw it elsewhere in the sky traveling at a high rate of speed. At that moment, his friend called & informed him that his son and friend had seen the same thing about 10-14 miles away and had caught it on video. We have the video.
