On 7-13-2014 at around 9:30 pm, I was driving north on highway 101 on the Oregon coast, just outside of North Bend, almost to the area known as Houser. I saw a small but very bright orange sphere shaped light about a half mile north of my location. I kept my eye on it trying to figure out exactly what it was. As I approached it I realized that it was following HWY 101 about 200 feet above moving south. I passed another car that looked to be recording the light. I found the first safe place to pull over and managed to get a few seconds of video with my phone as it passed over me then disappeared in the fog.

((ADDENDUM FROM WITNESS)) The object in question was like a bright fireball. My wife and daughter saw it as well and could not identify the object. As it moved further away it looked as if sparkles of bright lights fell from it. This happened twice this morning an hour apart. ((END ADDENDUM)) We have amended the date to July 12th, 2014. PD

I zoomed in to get a closer look, and noticed two to three planet like objects around the moon. One was a redish color, one was a greenish color, and the one I could not make out the color. They moved around the moon.

While sitting on a park bench at the campsite off Summit Road in the Ochoco National Forest my companion and I were visited by unknown beings that were talking inside of our minds about performing a brain cavity search. This event occurred whilst we were in the middle of a conversation and both of us immediately went silent as an unknown voice spoke silently in our minds about receiving access to our mind. The entire event lasted roughly five minutes, started at the same time, and ended at the same time. Without any verbal communication we both looked at one another and stated the same confusion as to what just happened while complete paralysis consumed us. Almost immediately after the event we experienced a large increase in the light being reflected off of the moon that disturbed both of our corneas when attempting to better understand what was happening. For several hours after the event I kept feeling as though I needed to ground myself electrically as if there was a current running through my body with a heightened attention on my feet. Sleep was not possible.

Last night (July 7, 2014) sometime around midnight, I was watering the garden. There is a clear view of the mountains from the garden and I looked over and saw what looked like a shooting star, though it was bright green, fall behind the mountain. It was very bright. As I was staring at the spot where it disappeared, a large craft of some kind, with blinking red lights, slowly moved to the left, appearing to hesitate in mid air for brief seconds, then proceed again slowly to the left. It appeared to possibly be a round craft. The only lights present were red. It was very close to the top of the mountain and made no sound. It appeared to be quite large, though it is difficult to gauge its size from my mountain, across the little valley. I left the scene before it disappeared. The duration was several minutes.

On July 5th, my husband, granddaughter and I walked out our front door to light off some leftover fireworks. It was several minutes after 10 pm. My husband was bent over in the street in front of our house, attempting to light the first firework. My granddaughter and I were gazing up at the sky. It was a clear night and we were looking at the stars. Suddenly, we saw a light, about the brightness of a planet, moving overhead. The object was coming from a southwesterly direction. At first, we thought it was a plane, but quickly realized that there were no blinking lights and it was moving at an incredible rate of speed; much faster than any plane I have ever seen. Also, we could not detect any sound coming from the object. We quickly called attention to it and my husband stopped what he was doing to watch it with us. The object was traveling in a northeasterly direction, traversing an arc of about 120 degrees. We were stunned at the speed with which it traveled, having never seen anything that has ever come close to that speed; not military or civilian jet or satellite. Within about 10 seconds, it disappeared from our view. My husband and I are used to watching the sky and have always,up to this point, been able to identify what we have seen. We had no clue what this object was, however. (( All three witnesses to this sighting are well known to NUFORC, and we consider them to be exceptionally capable, and reliable, witnesses. Me and my wife saw this bright red light moving at high altitude, seemingly moving slow. At its altitude, I had to be moving very fast. Similar to a satellite but satellites aren't bright red. The light was moving in a south south east as our house fades exactly north. We don't know what it was but I know it was not and airplane or helicopter but resembled a slow falling satellite until it went behind the trees. We suspect a flawed time. We have corrected the time to reflect an evening sighting. PD

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his occurred on 4th of July, coming home from watching fireworks. I know because of this, what we witnessed could be easily dismissed. But the sightings were spread over the Hillsboro area, and uniform in appearance. We saw red lights stationary in the sky. There was no distinguishable form other than the lights. I first saw three of these lights in the north, each at different altitudes from our perspective. They faded from view, only to have two more float up from above the horizon (tree line and surrounding rooftops) into the sky. These lights quickly blinked out. I thought these probably were lanterns, the kind with little candles in them. But then I observed two more lights in the south, already very high in the sky. The color was a vibrant ruby color, not likely candle lit. They had a slow pulsating light that very in intensity. These lights were only visible for a few minutes before they faded out. There were no noise. The moved like they were floating. If it were two or three objects like these I would dismiss them. But there were seven that I witnessed in two different directions, roughly five miles from where I viewed them. Really unusual. I have never seen anything like it before.

On July 4th, 2014, at approximately 11pm Pacific Time, a single bright round red-orange object was seen in the clear skies over Creswell, OR, by 4 people – myself, my wife, and another couple standing nearby – but also by many others having done some research online. It happened just as a fireworks event was about to kick off at the Creswell High School. My wife and I were in the back of my pickup facing east on Nieblock Lane, when I noticed a bright red-orange object, drifting silently towards the south. It moved extremely slowly towards the south, then turned away towards the east and eventually disappeared. It was just a large round bright object, not a Chinese lantern, not a firework, not a drone, not a flare, not a helicopter, not a plane, not a balloon, and I’m not crazy. From the distance it was at, it was too big to be a simple Chinese lantern. And it never drifted up, it just appeared out of nowhere and flew along a level altitude, not gaining or losing altitude for the entire 2-3 minutes we all watched it. I spent several years in the Army as a Combat Medic and I’ve seen all sorts of aircraft, weaponry, flares and such to know that what my wife and I saw, along with another couple nearby, was by definition an unidentified flying object. A friend and I witnessed an orange point of light traverse the sky in approximately 5-10 seconds. Object was similar in apparent brightness, size and color to the planet Mars. Object travelled in a straight line from the west southwest to the east northeast. Object did not appear to change color, speed, brightness, size or direction. No sound was heard and no train, trail or tail was visible behind the object like a bright meteor or bolide would normally leave. Sky conditions were mostly fair.

It looked like a white metallic ball to the north and it was heading to the south-east at a fairly good rate of speed. After about 8 minutes it stopped and and moved in a jagged serpentine manner in that location for a few minutes. Then it continued on to the south-east until it was close to the area of the sky where the moon was located. At that time it appeared to split into 2 separate spheres for maybe 20 seconds. Then it began moving back to the north as one sphere. During the movement to the north, 2 separate jets went by heading to the south. Both times the sphere disappeared for a second or two then reappeared on its same trajectory. When it got to about the same area that it was in when we first noticed it, it disappeared.

my friends and I saw a aircraft doing a 180 degree turn it left a trail and when it turned it turned right on the trail it almost looked like it went backwards only it didn't I know this because it was shaped in a triangle the point was facing one way then in the blink of an eye it changed direction. I awoke at 3:20 am for no apparent reason. I then turned to look over my shoulder where I could see the window. I noticed a flash of light, then looked up and saw a round bright white-yellow disk of light hovering up in the sky. It appeared to have a beam of light coming out of it.

I was on my way home and star gazing. I was at the top of a hill called Radar Rd. and taking pictures and evaluating the pictures. I saw a UFO appear and start crossing the sky in a southeast direction. My friend that was with me saw the UFO as well and observed it crossing the sky as well.

I was coming home from the groceries while I spotted 4 white oval shaped lights circling in the sky. they also changed to a greenish tinge after 5 mins and again changed back to white There are four adults, one 50-year, one 40 year old and one 30-year old and myself They seem to be descending and ascending and are moving towards the east of Laidlaw Rd. I tried to take photographs but I could not capture them since they are flickering and moving.

At about 10:15 pm, June 26, 2014, we observed a single yellowish/orange fireball in the northern sky. We had light cloud cover yet we were able to see the round fireball. Had the fireball been higher in the sky I believe the fireball would have been more visible only as light coming through the clouds. Yet, it was either below the cloud layer or just barely into it as we were able to see the glow and a small dot in the center. It stayed stationary as we continued to watch. As we watched in disbelief and were equally curious as to what this object was, it began to "burn out". Though as we watched it we were not sure if it actually did "burn out" or moved away from us. We do know that this object did not move laterally at any high rate of speed.

I was sitting at my computer with the window open when I noticed what I thought was a blue helicopter light, but it quickly grabbed my complete attention with its strange movements. The light moved across the skyline at extremely high speed, assuming the object was as distant as I think it was. It was also incredibly smooth, gliding effortlessly north to south. Every 8 seconds or so, the radiant blue light became an intense white light for about 1 second, and then became a dull red before becoming an intense blue again. This happened probably 4 times before the object dipped below the some apartments to the east of me. I've never seen something that I couldn't explain like this before and thought I should describe it. My girlfriend also witnessed this UFO and agrees that it could not have been any aircraft the two of us are familiar with. I couldn't really see a craft shape very well, but she feels that when it went from the white light, which was VERY bright like search lights, back to red and then blue, it kind of seemed like the object was rotating. We opened our back door I couldn't hear any damn thing, but my girlfriend thinks she heard it whining, again unlike any aircraft we understand.

We were outside giving my child a ride on my dads tractor. Afterwards, we stood and were talking, when i became fixed on a ball of light moving in the sky behind him. At first i thought it was a helicopter's headlights, but it was silent. We all were observing it as it followed a straight path, and then moved swiftly (not speeding, but moving faster than a hellicopter) in the opposite direction from us. I expected My dad to explain what we saw, but he couldn't. There was no sound, and it was flying low. As i observed it moving, I almost glimpsed a dark orb like object.

14 lights of various sizes, and mostly white, were covering about 10 range in the sky. A group 4 adults, 2 -17 year olds and my 14 year old son were sailing on the Columbia River near Portland, OR, when one looked up at the wind indicator and alerted everyone to what he thought were a group of skydivers. Many points of light and one was crescent shaped, like a modern parachute. As we kept watching we realized they were not getting any closer and there were some that appeared either smaller or farther away and two were red, for a total of 14 items. All of these items pretty much kept their scattered distance as they slowly proceeded from east to west but the odd thing it the crescent shaped object rotated very slowly…perhaps twice over the 15 or so minutes we saw them. I thought that with the height of the sun, it may be reflection off some space debris but when first spotted, the convex side of the crescent object was illuminated but when it rotated 180 degrees the convex side was still illuminated, but should have been in the shadow. Also, the two red objects were very bright red. We spoke with this witness, and he sounded to us to be quite sober-minded. We suspect that he is a very good witness. PD
