When I looked up to view the stars. I saw two bright reddish-orange ring-shaped objects at approximately a 45 degree angle in the Northern horizon. They appeared to be perfectly stationary and about the size of a nickel, "held at arm's length". Both had a perfectly round, solid outside ring, with a series of small bright orange dots (same color as the outer ring) as an inner ring and closely arranged to the inner circumference of the outside rings. I was awestruck! I am a commercial pilot, former Ohio State Highway Patrolman and a three-term Sheriff of Lawrence County. I know the objects were not conventional aircraft. After watching them for a little over a minute, I decided to run into the house to get my iPhone camera. I returned in less than a minute to find they had disappeared completely. :- I am interested to know if there are any others who may have witnessed them; or if someone who can explain them. Thanks,

At around 5:00 p.m., a friend and I looked off into a field to our left and saw what appeared to be a small passenger airliner. It was grey in color with a red stripe, it had red lights on the rear fins. It was less than 100 feet off the ground hovering in mid air. We watched it for around 2-3 minutes and then continued down the road. I'm not sure if it is related but as a side note 2 air force officers showed up in my small town at the funeral home today. When no one answered they came across the street to my house and looked in the window. I was out of the line of sight but saw their shadows. The proceeded across the street to a auto shop, I went over and talked to the men at the shop and they confirmed they were air force. They claimed their cell phones had died and were trying to get a hold of the funeral home. A gentlemen at the shop confirmed their had been a burial at the cemetery in town today. So I'm not saying it's related just odd 2 air force officers show up the next day in a town of a little more than 1000.

I walked out onto our back porch to have a cigarette at about 7:45PM. A light caught my attention in the southeastern sky. I would estimate it to have been about 20 degrees off the horizon. I got the impression that the light was not very far from the edge of town but it's difficult to say. It was round or spherical and a medium shade of orange with no other colors apparent. There appeared to be a slight aura surrounding it. The light seemed to be moving very slowly toward what would be northeast of my position. It hadn't gone very far at all when it suddenly "blinked out". Seconds later a new light of the same description and apparent size "blinked on". The new light was trailing behind the first. In other words, I do not believe it to have been the same light. The second light, like the first, blinked out after a few seconds. Now, several more lights of the same description and size appeared in the following seconds, however, they did not all follow the same movement pattern of the first two. Some moved up, some moved down etc. There were also instances where two lights would appear together but there never seemed to be more than two illuminated at once. A few of the lights did make some rather erratic movements as well. I do not believe they were simply being blown by the wind. All of the lights blinked out or disappeared within a few seconds of appearing. The lights did not seem to flicker. I saw nothing dripping from them or being cast off them. Seven to ten lights would be my best estimate as to how many I saw in total. The event lasted no more than thirty to fourty-five seconds. I would estimate each light to have been about the size of a small pea at arms length. The general look and movement of the lights seemed odd to me. There is no way for me to be sure of course but I didn't get the impression that they could have been airplanes, helicopters, flares or fireworks. I've never noticed any weather ! phenomena resembling this either and I've lived in the immedia! te area for most of my life. Definitely unusual.

Driving north on Piqua - Troy rd. My daughter said "Mommy look at the stars!" The "stars" were close together at 9 and 3! Very bright! Slowly turned in position of 12 and 6! Then in a blink of an eye, disappeared up into the sky. With in minutes, several aircraft flew to the area. My neighbor watched in awe! Jetstreams all lead to area! I wonder what Wright Patt Airforce base will cover up this one. My daughter described it as a Frisbee with lights!

I saw a bright orange object witha black cross through it in the eastern sky. It looked like a brightly lit window in the sky. It stayed there still for a few minutes then disappeared. I waited there for about 5 minutes to see if it would show up again. Then a plane came through the area and when it got to where the orange light was a bright cresent shaped object appeared above it for just about 5 seconds and then disappeared. The plane just kept on flying in a southwestern direction. Just for comparison the international space station flew over about 10 minute later and both previous object were way brighter it. They both were the brightest objects in the sky.

Was about 20-25 degrees above the horizon. When I first noticed the light there was two orange colored lights. Shortly after a third light lit up then after a quick delay the forth then a fifth. At about the time the fifth light came on the 1st light went out and then the 2nd and so on each with a equal delay between them. Once all the lights went out the 1st light came back on and then the second. At this time I turned onto my street and by the time I got out of my car and to the back of my house I could no longer see any lights. Reminded me of the scene from Independence Day with the helicopter. http://www.rotaryaction.com/images/inday1.jpg but only contained a single horizontal row of lights.

While driving I saw 4 orange/white lights in a perfectly straight line. I thought I saw a cigar shaped shadow behind them as if it was one large object, but I can't be sure. I thought a large, low flying, jumbo jet must be headed straight toward me and about to crash land. It was frightening at first, but then it seemed to change directions and gain altitude. At the same time as it changed directions each light slowly faded out one at a time. They even seemed to flicker just a bit as if burning out. As soon as they all disappeared they flickered back on again slowly and one at a time and in a new position (consistent with an object that would be moving). Also there was a direction change again as they were coming back on one at a time. I was driving so I was not able to continually watch as much as I would have liked to, therefore I only saw them fade out one more time – again one at a time, and as if they burnt out, not instantly on or off. The lights never once broke a perfect line formation, so if it was not a single object, it was an impossibly accurate formation of 4. This object (if it was one object) was either large and low flying, or REALLY large if it was far away. Hard to tell the perspective at night, but the lights were fairly large, round shaped and seemed almost like balls of light. I am sure it was nothing, but I cannot explain it. I was on my back deck, smoking a cigar, around 23:10 on Oct. 22, 2014. I was looking at the clouds as they were moving from the NE to the SW. I saw a green triangle cross my line of sight for approximately 3 seconds, traveling from the East to the West. I did not hear a sound. It was traveling at a high rate of speed, in a straight line. It was a bright emerald green color, with circles of light (the same green color) on each point of the triangle. It was not an isosceles triangle, but an elongated one. I am a 56 year old college graduate, who has been clean and sober for over 30 years. I know very little about UFO's, nor have I ever actively looked for them. I am just reporting what I saw, in the hopes that someone else saw something similar tonight.

The evening of 20 Oct. at approximately 20:10 (0010Z) there were possible storms moving into my area. Lightening was reported to the West North West over Delaware, Ohio. I observed cloud reflected lightening in that direction, as well as to the South. Cloud deck was reported as 3,000 to 6,000 feet at 97%. While feeding horses and looking to the West, I observed at about 280 degrees azimuth and 25 degrees altitude, a small dull red spot, which appeared unmoving. It grew somewhat brighter for about 3 seconds, but still remained dull red, the color that heated steel just becoming red might appear. At this time, it began moving very rapidly across the shy towards the East South East, heading approximately 100 degrees. It disappeared at approximately 170 degrees azimuth and 85 degrees altitude, the whole episode lasting about 7 seconds from first seeing it until loosing sight of it. There was no sound associated with it’s passing. When this object (yes, I am going to call it an object) was almost overhead, I had the impression it had a rounded shape, possibly oval or u- shaped, and that the dull red portion was the leading part of some airframe, glowing from air resistance heating. It’s body was totally black with no lights, appearing against the clouds as an empty spot with a dull red part. My analysis of this event is that when I first observed it, the unchanging bearing means it was coming essentially directly at me. As it got to a lower altitude, it’s linear motion became apparent, and the fact that it traversed 70 degrees of sky in 4 seconds means to me that it was below 5,000 feet altitude and hence subsonic, disappearing into a cloud bank.. That fits with the cloud deck height. No sound means it was gliding or silently propelled. The whole thing had the feeling of a re-entry event. Re-entry into a thunder storm seems a good way to cover the sonic booms, and thick clouds providing visual cover. So, either someone has a really advanced stealth aircraft, or we are not alone.

I was driving home from a friend’s house on Sunday around 1000 in the evening when I received a call from my father. He told me that there was a floating blinking light moving around the cornfield in his backyard. As a skeptic, I told my father that I would come over and retrieve it. I arrive at the house at roughly 1030 in the evening and head to the back door to meet my father. I look into the cornfield and can see an oval shaped light flickering roughly 120 meters away from us. It flashed like a strobe and was a milky white consistency. The light emanated from the center of the object and would rise from out of the corn and then lower back into the corn. I tried the best I could to come up with a logical explanation to the item but could not. It was windy yet it would remain in place, if it been a balloon it would have popped or blown away. I decided to inspect the area. As I neared the end of our yard to the line of corn, I heard sounds that I could not ! identify. I could tell by the sound something was moving in the corn, but also some sort of weird watery chewy sound that I can’t exactly describe. Deciding not to enter the field I returned to the house. The light continued to raise and lower into the corn. I decided to flash a light on it from the house, and it receded into the corn. After a few minutes it came back out. We sat and watched it through binoculars and a night vision scope trying to figure out what it was. At around 100 in the morning, it receded into the corn and did not appear again. After 30 minutes of waiting we decided it had left and went to bed. In the morning, I decided to search the corn field for evidence with my father. My father and I are both military trained and have extensive knowledge in tracking, as well as being alert to our surroundings. There were no signs of activity. No footprints, no trash, no animal footprints, nothing. My father is an older man and the images are a bit shaky. It scare! d the dog which was inside the house, as it remained in the ba! ck of it s cage.

Around 10:15pm October 19th I saw a orangish red bright light that I thought might be a chinese lantern because it seemed to be at a low altitude, I asked my dad to come watch and we realised it was traveling at a constant speed across the night sky. To me, it appeared to be a ball of fire. My dad said he has never seen anything like it.

I am including a picture of another ufo report I made on February 26, 2010 as a reference to what I saw tonight. If you look at the picture , what I saw tonight was in the same place. I was sitting on my back porch at 7:28 pm eastern time and saw a single object that looked triangular in shape. The top of it had two flashing white lights and the bottom a single flashing red light. The three lights formed a triangle. It was approaching me head on. The craft appeared to be about a mile away, but it is difficult to gauge the distance because I didn't know the actual size of it. Since this is not a usual airline flight path, I assumed it was a helicopter. I watched it for about 15 seconds and saw it change course at what looked like a 90 degree turn to its left as well as about a 45 degree trajectory upwards. Not that unusual, I thought. But before itdisappeared, I saw two more identically looking objects approach from the same spot the first one appeared. They were at the same height the first one was when it initially appeared and were side by side about the width of my pinky finger held out in front of me. These two also turned to their left and began an ascent at about 45 degrees. A second set of two identically looking objects then appeared just as the first set had done. They approached me and then made the same turn to their left and about a 45 degree ascent. I saw a total of five objects. As each object made their turn, they became barely visible and looked like little dots of white light. I could no longer see any red in them. Each object disappeared into the clouds about 15 seconds after it turned. Although the five objects looked different from the ones in my report of Feb. 26, 2010, they approached from the same spot in the sky. Also, their approach pattern was different, appearing in three patterns, one after the other. The original siting had them in formation, all together.

We were driving home when we saw 4 red glowing lights lined up in the sky....we are right by the airport so I said it was the planes lining up to land but then I realized they were just a solid red color and there were no aviation lights blinking of any kind. I went to turn into a parking lot so I can stop to look and as I looked over I watched the first one just disappear into thin air and then they were all gone.....my bf saw the other three literally just vanish after sitting there for about a minute. I can't tell if they were moving at all if any but they seemed pretty stationary and then vanished instantly.

Around 10PM, we noticed a fixed point of light in the sky facing north. The light looked like a star then periodically would flash a very bright light in an irregular timing pattern however the flash looked the same each time. The flash flashed a beam of light simultaneously from the top and bottom of the object for 1 second, nothing form either side though. After the flash was gone, you could see the fixed star looking object in the middle as if it were the point of origin. This behavior continued for about 30 minutes. The last few flashes became dimmer and dimmer until it was completely gone.

My husband was letting our dog out around 10 pm. He happened to look up in the sky and he saw something that was flashing red and white and occasionally green. He watched it for at least 10 minutes and it never moved. He called me out to look at it and I saw the same thing. I called our son out to look at it and he saw it. My husband then got our binoculars and he and our son went outside and tried to get a better look. That is when they saw another thing in the sky, that looked just like the first. Altogether they were outside about 45 minutes. At no time did either sets of lights move. There are no towers of any kind in those areas. We thought that it might have been the ISS, but we have seen it in the sky and it moves. We thought it might have been 2 stars, but we have never seen stars flash red, white and green. You could actually see them flashing different colors. We were unable to tell what shape they were. We honestly have never seen anything like that before. Both lights are not in the sky tonight (10/12/14). My husband has seen a UFO when he was younger. My son and I have never seen one before.
