On November 23, 2014, at 6:20 pm I believe I saw an unidentified flying object. My room is seperate from the house. To get into the house I have to walk up the back deck leading to the back door of the house. So, on my way into the house from my room I looked up into a pretty dark sky. Cloudy. There directly northward were 3 lights. Pretty big lights. The shape was indescribable from the distance. I examined them as closely as I could. They had my attention because the more I looked the more I realized that these are not the airplane or helicopter lights that are commonly seen at night in my SE Portland area near the Sellwood Bridge. (Which by the way is currently under construction.) On any night one would have no problem spotting airplanes coming from the south. More common than ones coming from the north. I've seen as many as 4 helicopters hovering over the city at one time late at night from 11pm and on. Anyways, there I stood on the deck right outside th! e back door looking at these 3 lights that I noticed moved around very strangely in ways you could not expect from conventional aircraft. Side to side. Down, up and in circles. While it was hard to see the shape I could see they were orange and red in color. And sometimes just white. As 2 of the lights slowly began to fade away, 2 more extra bright lights slowly began to appear from the horizon. They moved higher and higher. The first 3 had some manner of formation but were definitely independent of each other. The 2 new bright lights came in formation but then split up as they got closer to the rest. For a short time all 5 were together before 2 of what I believe were the first set of 3 faded away out of sight. The 3 remaining did a slow dance. Unpredictable in nature. And offbeat. At least 2 or 3 more times I saw 1 or 2 fade away and another 1 or 2 appear to rise from the horizon. There were too many objects in my vision down lower for me to see where they may be coming from but if I were to guess I would say at least 5 or 6 miles aw! ay. Probably more, not sure. I shot some shaky video. They only appear to be dots of light on camera. But, I asked my mother to come look and she watched them for at least a couple minutes. The entire spectacle lasted about 10 minutes but who knows how long they had been there before I noticed them. The airport is about 15 miles northeast of where I live. East of where I saw these UFOs. I live about 15 blocks from the river. After doing a quick search my mother discovered that there was a UFO sighting earlier the same day in Paris, France. Sort of similar to what I saw. I feel like there is more details I should be giving but I'm forgetting. I called my brother who lives within 2 miles away to look up and see it. His girlfriend answered the phone and as I was giving my reason for calling they started to fade away. When I got off the phone they made at least one more brief appearance before disappearing for the last time. I guess that's all for now. I'm working on getting a hold of l! ocal news. I was in my driveway, facing East, over my neighbors house. As I got out of my car, I noticed a light moving relatively slowly, moving west or west southwest. It caught my eye because the color was more orange than typical plane lights. The speed seemed too slow for how low it appeared. Then I began to notice the speed was slowing. It didn't appear to turn, it just slowed until it came to a stop. It remained stationary for 10 seconds or so, the began to fade until it just became dark. I got a video of it on my phone, but it's just a small light that then turns off, no real detail visible. At least it's proof that there was something there. The night was very clear so I don't believe there was a cloud or something. It is the only light in my video so it was the brightest light up there at the time. I've never seen a flying object stop like that...then go dark? Cool!

Around 10:45pm, I was biking home from work(Alberta area). My rout home takes me through the top part of Irvington neighborhood. The very first thing I noticed was flying very low, like a helicopter and was very loud. But it did not look or sound like a helicopter. It had very bright red lights on top that were glowy and vibrant. White lights on bottom. It was moving fast and I followed it for a couple blocks out of my direction and it disappeared from my sight behind houses. I allowed it to get away and continued biking home. Once I reached the very top of the hill near Alameda, I decided to stop because it's a good place to see the sky. I wasn't assuming I had seen anything extraterrestrial, more that it was truly bizarre. I was only standing at the top of the hill for less than a minute when straight ahead of me (facing south) I saw a very, very bright light. I thought it was a satellite. It was staying in one place and not seeming to move at all. It was s! haped like a hat almost, pointed on top, similar to a triangular shape. I stared for a very longtime, then noticed to it's left was the same object, slightly lower. Meaning there were two. I started filming and trying to take pictures on my iphone that are hard to decipher due to all of the other lights around. I also called my boyfriend to tell him what I was seeing. After almost 15 minutes they started moving in a west direction, pretty quickly. So they were not stars. Definitely not planes. (At least not the usual commercial flying planes). Last night (11/14/14), two days later I was driving home with my boyfriend, when straight ahead in the sky, we saw the exact same two shapes on the exact same place moving the exact same way. We both watched together as they stood in one place for a long time, then began movingn together in the same direction out of sight. This was all from Irvington Neighborhood. We were returning from a birthday party. Myself, my 3 year old and 6 year old. We were driving down a hill (near Mt. Tabor) and saw three big white lights in the sky that were in a horizontal line..not moving. Then they formed a triangle. Then vertical line...which....what? Horizontal line. I video taped some of it with my phone camera as my battery died and tried to take photos which all turned out crappy but I have never seen anything like this and it is freaking me out. The final freak out moment for me was when one of the lights moved over to another light and they merged for a moment and then went back to some strange formation. I saw three. My daughter says she say four. I did see a plane behind these formations about five minutes in. I am reporting this due to the methodical way the lights moved. They were NOT planes. Then, they dispersed. One light headed North, one headed Northwest and the third one..who knows!! Thank you.

I am writing this report for my brother because he wouldn't bother reporting it. At approximately 4 am pacific time my brother was driving home from work on I-205 south near the I-84 east exit. He ran into some traffic and came to a complete stop. While he was stopped, he decided to pull out his cell phone and take a snapchat video of the horrible traffic to send to his friends. He took the video, and when he went to review it, noticed that he had caught a strange light in his caption. I should mention that he is taking this video from inside his car. His view is looking over the interstate, and an overpass is approximately 1/4 of a mile ahead. In the video, just a few seconds after the it starts, a bright almost neon blue light streaks down from the upper left of the video screen. As the light falls from the sky it disappears for a second, then reappears only to come to a complete stop. It appears that the light is just beyond the overpass 1/4 of a mile ahead. At the same time this blue streak stops, it lights up and flashing lights rotate in a circular! direction around the "craft". The craft then drops very 'mechanically' or abruptly and continues to flash sporadically until the video ends. I should mention that i have a copy of this video on my computer. I will send it to you if you want. Since its a cell phone video, the quality isn't the best, but you can plainly see what I'm describing when you watch it. I should also mention that in the video, my brother is listening to eminem (the rapper). My brother says ((profanity deleted)) part way through the video and it seems he is reacting to the UFO, but he is actually reacting to the bad traffic. It is not till reviewing the video that he notices the light. Thanks! I appreciate everything you do and I hear you on coast to coast all the time! The morning of Tuesday October 28th at 10:10am I was driving down SW Queen Avenue going west. I was on my way to a college recitation and had volunteering to drop my boyfriend off near his place of employment before I left town. After dropping him off and turning onto Queen Ave from a parking lot that crosses with SE Hill Street I noticed something extremely bright in the sky. As I was moving west down Queen, the object was moving from the north to south. At first glance, I thought the object I was looking at must be a plane. The reasoning for this was because of a nearby airport, as well as how low the object seemed to be relative to the altitude that planes fly at when they have completed their ascent. The object also appeared to be moving at a rate comparable to that of an airplane. What compelled me to keep staring what the unbelievable brightness of the object. Initially I thought that it may be reflecting the light from the clouds which were bright that morning. The longer I stared at it, the stranger it seemed that there appeared no colored lights on the object. I also began to notice that the object at first glance had appeared to be plane shape, but the longer I watched it move through the sky the more I was able to define that it appeared, in fact, as a crescent shape with its widest diameter parallel with the ground. Once I began to realize how out of sync this object was with what I am accustomed to seeing from a plane, I followed it's trajectory with my eyes as I continued to make my way west on Queen. Next something very strange happened. The object I had been watching moved in front of clouds that were much darker, gray color. It was then I saw that the light didn't seem to be reflecting onto the object from the clouds, but coming from the object itself. The best way to describe it, was that it appeared to be self-illuminated. The color was a very bright white color. The object moved west from my perspective. A few moments later object stopped moving entirely. It was suspended in the sky, and no longer appeared crescent like it had when it was closer to me, but appeared orb-shaped. The only thing I can compare it to is a star. It looked like a low hanging star in our atmosphere in the middle of the morning. After a five to ten second stillness, the object moved at a much, much faster rate west, or backwards from where I was staring. The movement of the object at this point was unfamiliar to me, and the best way I can describe it was like it had moved at warp speed and now was the size of a needle pinhead in the sky. It was then that I turned north onto Pacific Avenue from Queen and was unable to further locate the object in the sky.

While driving on 99 northbound from Sellwood to Portland I witnessed a grouping of fifteen- twenty metallic objects flying in various patterns above SE metro Portland. At first I thought it was a flock of white birds or geese, but the changes in direction and the size did not seem birdlike. Also wondered if it was a grouping of balloons that " got away" from a car lot or something similar, but then I witnessed several groups break away from the main cluster, accelerate rapidly and fly against the cloud/wind direction, and then rejoin primary group and this occurred several times with different groups forming and then breaking away in different directions at different speeds before rejoining the main group. At various points the group would shift and almost disappear, but during shifts they would also deflect light giving off a metallic sheen. I cant't explain what I saw, but I pulled my car over and watched this for about 10 minutes before the objects disappeared into the clouds. Did anyone else see this as well and if so any idea was it could have been ?

A bright red light at approximately 20,000 foot elevation was seen by us (former peace officer and medical professional). The light hovered in the same spot for two minutes then rose several more thousand feet and disappeared.

I took my small dog out to go potty on leash just after 10 pm. We live in the country and it's very wooded in this area with BLM land surrounding us. I am always on the alert for wildlife while outside. It was very quiet outside that night. The sky was pretty dark, I could see stars, but mostly it was cloudy. As I was scanning the property, I was looking in the sky as well. I noticed a white light low in the sky behind my house it had an appearance like a white star, but it seemed odd to be so low in this area to me for some reason it seemed out of place. We do have neighbors behind us two houses. The one house directly behind us is roughly 250 feet away. The other neighbor along side them is even further from us. As I kept an eye on this white light for several seconds it just disappeared. It wasn't because of cloud cover that I could see. Seconds went by and another white light showed up in the same area, but this time it appeared closer an! d even lower in the sky. It was so low I saw it between the trees on the properties behind our home, but as if it was still in the sky. Now I am certain this is not a star. As I am watching this white light it disappears once again. I thought that was it. Then seconds later a white light appears again this time on the road that runs along side my property that the neighbors behind me share. This light is moving fast towards my direction. I watch this light coming down the road it's going really fast and it seems higher than where I would think the car lights would be. What I noticed next is the light appears to be crossing from the road into the trees and towards my direction then it disappears for the third time about 50 or 60 feet from where I am standing. I waited to see if it was going to reappear again while thinking this may not be a good idea. My dog was done doing her business, and she never appeared to notice anything that transpired. I had a really ! bad migraine and I wanted to take a hot bath. I did not notic! ed any s ounds coming from the light. Not sure about the light shape appearing to be the same shape or not, it happened so fast. The size of the light when it got the closest I would say about the size of a car headlight. I heard no cars, I saw no cars on the road, I heard and saw no neighbors walking the road with flash lights. Which I don't think they could match the speed it was coming down the road though a steep grade I don't think a human could even run that fast in my opinion. Even if it was a car with no engine running, I would have heard the gravel sounds from under the tires. No usual smells. SO it's a mystery.

Watch a very large, very bright orange light travel from the SE moving North. It traveled about as fast as the average satellite only much bigger and much brighter. Once it got further north it appeared to stop and remain stationary. It may have been moving. It was hard to determine at that point.

I want you to know I do not do this. This is my first time reporting a sighting and I am confused about what I saw. On an October midday afternoon I was sitting on my deck and it was a somewhat warm day with some overcast. Which was quite a comfortable afternoon for October (10-13-14). I chose to sit in my chair outside with the dog and watch the clouds and I was watching a military cargo plane which the sound caught my attention fly over my house and head south the clouds started breaking up, my eye caught a flash from a silver and blue object which was right above the military cargo plane. I was not sure I saw what I saw so I closed my eyes and blinked a few times, when I was done and got focus again the object was still in same area south of my town Woodburn, Oregon. This is all I am sending at this time after the abusive comments received in finding a place to report. I was sitting in my house on my phone being sleept on by my dad near a window, all of a sudden in the window I see the brightest ball of light I have ever seen, I knew it wasn't a plane for sure! It kept going past the trees in my neighbors yard, so I couldn't see it well, I was so excited and frightened I tried to get up, but failed since my dad was laying on me, once it leaved my sight I didn't see it again, on another note, this is the third ufo I have seen in this area the past year, and mounths. After about 2 minutes observation the bottom left light faded out then the bottom right light faded out, and finally the top light extinguished. We were stunned at this sighting. I hope other observers will report this sighting. There was a 3/4 moon rising at the time and a few scattered clouds in the sky but not in the area of the sighting. Judging from the witness's background, we suspect that he is a very experienced and qualified observer. PD

To the West of downtown Salem, OR. Noted two red dots in the sky, traveling Northeast at a constant rate of speed. Both maintained a consistent path and velocity, based upon distance between. Approx 1min into observation, a third dot appeared roughly halfway between two red dots, but further west. Assumed same path and trajectory, quickly falling into parallel line. Two people saw several small shiny objects floating in circles above Portland. At first, we thought they were birds, but they were much too high and obviously metallic and reflecting the sun. They were too far away to tell shape or size, they were by a contrail and were not above it.

Fireball like object flew west toward us stopping and hovering at around 500ft, Then came toward us more then stopped again. Hovered for about 40sec then left going east and up at around 20 degree angle no major acceleration just continuous until totally out of sight.WOW? have picture no idea what it was.

I live under a busy flightpath that goes east to west into PDX International Airport. I am also an aviation enthusiast, and know about specific types of aircraft. It was about 10:30 at night, and it was pretty clear. I could see the stars. I heard a commercial passenger plane flying overhead on approach to PDX. Which isn't unusual. I couldnt sleep that night so I went to my window to take a look. I watched it until it passed over the trees and out of sight. Then I started looking at the stars that were visible that night, then I saw three red pinpoints of light, that were arranged in a triangle formation. They did not flicker or twinkle and stayed locked in that rigid triangle formation. Then i noticed that it seemed like one solid object, because it blocked out the stars as it moved from dead south to dead north. After a few seconds, i thought I heard a low hum as it passed overhead. I watched the object for what felt like a solid 2-3 minutes, but when I looked at the clock, the time just turned to 1:30 in the morning... I started watching the object at 10:30. I lost three hours of time. I didnt get any sleep that night, I just sat in bed scared to close my eyes until the sun came up over Mt. Hood.

Outside early morning, noticed a illumnating light growing stronger in the sky, looked up, saw light dissipate, then two objects flying together, one behind the other and moved in formation, appeared like stars, tracked em with my eyes they were moving so fast, then gone! Then appeared agian shortly, then out of sight, eyes only!
