First of all, my personal history is sketchy. I could be very easily discredited. I am a known iv meth user and alcoholic. I have always had very vivid dreams almost every night for as long as I can remember. I have also experienced occasional sleep walking, as well as sleep paralysis, since childhood, and as an adult. That being said, I am also known for my honesty. I have never met another person who is as truthful and trustworthy as I am. People closest to me have heard the story I'm telling now and they all believe me because they know I am almost incapable of lying. However, most of them believe I was dreaming or that obese experiencing some kind of hallucination due to my drug use. I was not using for several days when this happened, nor had I been drinking. I have hallucinated many times from drug use and I know this was not anything like a hallucination. Also, I know very well what nightmares and vivid dreams are like. This was not a dream. Sleeping alone in my bedroom I woke up groggy and experiencing sleep paralysis. I felt like there was something "coming to get me" and I was terrified. I tried to move my head to see who it was but I could barely move my eyes or even open them. I saw what I believe to be a tall grey alien in my bedroom doorway. I did not get a very good look at him but he resembled the classic description of grey aliens. Large head and large dark eyes, no ears and a small mouth. He was wearing a long white or silver robe. He telepathically told me to go back to sleep and I did. I then remember (very vaguely) just briefly standing in front of another grey alien. I think I was still in my room but not sure. He also looked similar to the classic description of grey aliens but with darker grey skin. He was slightly taller than me and wearing a red long sleeve shirt or jacket with a cut out in the neckline similar to a priests collar. We just stood staring at each other. The next thing! I remember is waking up in my bed again with sleep paralysis. This time I was much less groggy. I was paralyzed but fully awake. I am %100 positive I was awake and VERY VERY AWARE AND ALERT. I could feel the presence of them before I even opened my eyes. Opening them was very difficult. When I did finally open my eyes I saw another grey alien sitting next to my bed right beside me. There was another being standing at the foot of my bed. I could only see him out of the corner of my eye because I could not move my head at all. He was wearing something red and I believe that he (the one at the foot of the bed) was the same one I had previously stood in front of, but I can't be sure. I feel like there was a third one in the room as well but ,again, I can't be sure as I did not even get visual on a third...just a sense that another was there. I did get a good look at the one sitting beside my bed. He looked similar to the classic description of grey aliens. He was dark grey/lar! ge eyes/no ears/small mouth etc....but with swirly kind of freckles(ma rkings similar to tattoos?)on his face near his eyes. He was wearing a black long sleeve shirt or jacket and possibly a silver metallic necklace but I'm not sure. He stared at me for only a few seconds but I was aware of at least some of his thoughts as well as the telepathic communication between him and the others. He told the one at the foot of the bed that I was awake and I was going to remember. The one at the foot of the bed told him to put me back to sleep. He stared at me a few more seconds and I could hear his thoughts, which are very difficult to explain except that they were positive thoughts. He did put me back to sleep and that is all I remember. The next morning I found a bruise and a possible injection mark on my right arm. I also had a tender spot on the lower left base of my skull. For the next several nights I would wake up with sleep paralysis and a feeling that they had been there but no clear memory of it. I have not had any more memories of encounters or sleep paralysis since. Source of report indicates that the date of the event is approximate. PD

One bright, reddish-orange light that looked like a small, flying flame. Moved from South to North over Pilot Butte State Park. No defined shape. Unclear if fireball, but it seemed to drop slightly and then lift upwards as it moved, which does not seem to be the way a fireball would move. Seen by a local woman who was driving to Whole Foods. It then jolted right and diagonal left, then again hovered and blinked out. As two more people arrived and we told them our experience and they began to discredit us, another light came up over the horizon at an astonishing speed. It then copied the patterns of the first and again blinked a couple times and faded into nothing.

A single glowing reddish orange flickering light. Becoming brighter as it appeared to be travelling towards Stayton from WNW. At its brightest the light changed slightly south and fizzled out.

It was New Year's Eve in NE Portland near NE Sandy, it had just turned midnight and we went outside to let our kiddo bang pans and ring in the new year. My kid hurt his hand and yelled out, I turned to see if he was okay and was now facing north toward I-84, I looked at his hand and then he ran back into the house, with his father following him. I did not follow because as I looked up, I saw some reddish orange orbs in the sky, maybe 50 feet up (just above the one story roof lines of our complex). They appeared to be floating straight towards me, flickering like candles but synchronized. I called my husband to come back out. At first, I was afraid they were some huge embers from NYE fireworks or something and was watching to see if they would burn out or land on our building. Before they reached our building, they took a turn to the left (about 12 feet or so from me) though the turn was a right angle, the orbs floated smoothly, not particularly fast, just g! liding and flickering, more kept coming, spaced evenly apart and in some kind of formation, at the same height, spacing and rate. They were almost floating lantern like but not that and way to small for that. There were around 8 or so in all. We walked closer and watched them floating by and flickering, not sure what the heck they were, they moved out of our sight and we went back inside. It kept nagging at me, so I began to look to see if embers like these were even possible from fireworks (I could find nothing.) I looked for fires or other reports of these orbs in the local news and saw none but then I stumbled upon a bunch of information online about others reporting floating orange orbs in the sky, all over the world. (I've never heard of such a thing before.) I came here to check out reports for Portland on new year's and found nothing, so I thought I should report it. We are stunned to find this may be UFO phenomena.

We were staying up late to ring in the new year. While looking at the stars, we all saw a few tiny orange lights in the sky. They flew erratically and were bright orange in color. Two flew south and disappeared immediately, while one took some time before getting smaller and vanishing. Two more could be seen in the distance.

I have lived less than 2 miles from the Eugene airport for the past 23 years. I have seen private airplanes, private jets, commercial jets, cargo jets, navy sub killer aircraft conducting touch and go training flights, and a wide variety of military jets taking off after re-fueling on north to south trajectories. I know all of the trajectories for all of the aircraft that fly over or around my home and, at times, what time of day I can expect to see particular airlines. I am can distinguish the difference between night time aircraft lights and landing lights between fixed wing and jet aircraft. I also know the sound that all of them make. Tonight I neither heard nor saw anything I have ever experienced. There were none of the usual stro! bing lig hts, throbbing engine sounds, or jet sounds. I have also seen military jets climbing at night. Their after burners have never looked red. What I saw and heard were bright red lights that fluctuated minimally and felt, but did not hear, a slight bass hum. Conditions were clear, 23 degrees F, no clouds, and a bright half moon in the sky. I have never seen any thing like this in my 55 years on the planet.

I witnessed along with my husband, my sister-n-law, and my two sons 8-10 bright orange orbs moving very slowly in a SW formation. I say formation because they seemed to move in an orderly fashion. They were methodically spaced apart from South to North then slightly Eastern. As the orbs moved as they approached East they disappeared. Almost as if they were being blocked by something or entering something. This is the third strange sighting I have noticed since living over three years in Newberg, OR. I have always shoved them off as to my eyes playing tricks on me. I am not a believer in aliens or any such thing. However, this was an incredibly strange event that I cannot (or anyone else with me) can explain, so I thought it noteworthy enough to post. Thank you.

Sitting in car in parking lot, I noticed 7 lights hovering, and then moving different directions, in the SW sky over Hillsboro, Oregon. After about 30 seconds I realizes by the way they were moving, these were not airplanes. I took out my phone to record, and captured 4 or 5 of the lights on video. The reddish color objects made no sound.

When we first seen them they were hover in a slant and moved up and they were side by side with space in between then they came close together and then they went back with space between again. the lady with me when to seek someone else to see and they one by one disappear like in thin air, just disappeared before my eyes before the third lady could see. Looking north from Medford at 6:00pm I saw a bright white light moving east at about 5000 feet in altitude with no visible navigation lights. As I watched it, a plane heading in a westerly direction at about the same altitude appeared to be getting close to the object. The white light slightly changed course and accelerated up at about a 20 degree angle from its previous trajectory as it changed color from white to orange and very quickly faded away in intensity as it disappeared.

Witnessed a blood red colored formation above airport. At first i thought it was just helicopters in formation. But neither of the lights had a pulsating lights to indentify them as aircraft. The formation looked like the big dipper. Then one light went out of formation and the others slowing dropped down and faded. The last one followed a few minutes later.

It was a flash of white light, that's all, that lasted only a moment. I believe it was quite large because my first thought was that it was a meteor, the biggest I've ever seen, and that it was coming in all the way. Frankly my main thought was, "Oh, ((deleted))!" But then it blinked out, vanished, with no trace. No fragments, no explosion, nothing. This may have been something natural, unnatural, who knows? Driving in my car sitting on 198th facing tv hwy at the light. Saw what looked like a shooting star, but then it paused in the sky, and looked like it went into hyper speed. Hard to describe, but definitely not a shooting star. When it paused and then blasted off, there was a flash of light just before it was gone. Never scene anything like that and could not find anything online that would explain it. Something out of movie.

I went outside to smoke it was quiet no sounds. I noticed a flashing light that would change color. Blue, red, Amber, white. Then pulse those colors. It was hovering I would guess couple thousand feet up difficult to tell it seemed close enough to film. I have several video clips of it and pictures. I have no idea what it was. I have seen something similar in March of this year. The best description would be it looked like a police car with all the lights on. It moved very slowly as to mistake it for a star or perhaps camouflage to look like a star. It was not a star. The pulsing and flashing was constant. Changing colors. I have high powered binoculars that I used to see it closer. It hurt my eyes to focus very bright lights changing colors fast. No semetirical shape I was able to see due to strong lights. I have no clue what it was but I hope others have seen it as well. NUFORC Not: Sirius?? PD

I live in southern Oregon. Last night around 10:40 pm, I went out side and saw a very bright cluster of lights, looked to me like a combination of red, blue, and white (or clear looking), from where I am it was in the southeast direction, it was not moving just hovering very high in the sky. I wasn't sure what i was looking at still not, but i ran back in side to get my camera came back out it was gone, never seen anything like it before. My wife and I were outside smoking, when we say two orange round orbs in the sky. The color almost looked like the distant glow from a fire but was floating in the sky. They flickered with intensity and flew in unison with one another. They appeared to be very low and slow moving. They were traveling north then turned northwest. One orb started to go dim almost to the point where it looked like a star then disappeared then the other orb just disappeared. This was not the first time we have seem this kind of activity before. A month before, in November of 2014, we saw a single orange orb that we wrote off as a balloon with a candle attached to. The second even was the same kind of orb with the glowing orange fire like light but was in a pair. We live close enough to the airport to see the planes come and go on a regular bases but these flying objects were different from anything we have seen before. Regular air traffic generates a lot of noise pollution these c! rafts were silent. We find this event and the past event very strange but don't feel threatened by the presences. We are hoping that more individuals will share their stories to document the happenings here last night and to feel that they are not alone in their encounters.

On our way driving to Dallas on Kings Valley Highway before the S-curves a mile before entering town, my buddy and I noticed a glowing orb 300 ft or so above the tree line. When I first glanced at it I thought it was a star until I realized it was too big and too low to be one. My next thought was a radio tower but the light was glowing yellowish gold and not red and there is no radio tower on top of that hill. As my friend and I drove closer, the light went from 300 feet to to 75 feet or so above the ground in less than a second. That's when we realized this was no ordinary object. The light then instantly went to the ground and stopped moving. The light moved too fast to be a helicopter and was too big to be a firework or flare. After 4 or five seconds, the light moved to the left of the hilltop then shut off. My friend and I drove home later that night and the light was no where to be seen. During daylight you can see everything on that hill top where we spotted the light, and there is no tower or object that emits that color of light or moves that fast.

I was looking northeast and saw 4 very bright objects. I made my friend stop the car and I got out and took 4 pictures with my phone.
