Cle Elum, WA

I also reported to MUFON, and email to Coasttocoastam.com. This wasn’t a u f o, but a strange “daddy long legs” type of non organic or mechanical spider entity that I awoke to and saw above me, but 2-3 ft from directly above me. It was approximately 10-12” in diameter but with no distinguishing thorax or center body, multiple non-jointed legs that were thin and translucent greyish(?) with small 1-2cm. disks on the ends of each one. I was sleeping and suddenly woke up and turned my head upwards towards it. It was stationary perhaps a second, but then when it sensed that I saw it, it scampered across the ceiling (about10-12ft.) in a straight line and disappeared at the wall. It made no noise, nor had lights. My chihuahua who was in the room did not react to it. The weird thing is that several weeks ago I had a dream about the same entity. I didn’t recall the dream until a couple days after the incident. I usually forget and write off all my dreams, as I had that one, but on 4/6 it popped ino my head while driving. Naturally, I am curious if you have received similar reports. I was fully awake when I saw this “spider” and of sound mind and body, that is no alcohol or drugs or anything like that. I gather from this experience that most of us are visited or checked out, but majority of people are purposely made unaware. We spoke via telephone with the source of the report, and she seemed to us to be quite sober-minded. We suspect that she is a reliable witness. PD

The witness was at Marine Park, ready to go home after walking the dog. Witness reported 3 orange lights traveling separately, but in same direction. They were in a tight formation like a line, and it was believed that they were coming from the south and were going north. They were widely separated and then they turned back to south towards Lummi Island (it is believed). Witness lost sight of the orange lights after a while but no estimation was given. Color does not match aircraft and no sound reported. Reversal of flight indicates these were not jackolanterns.

I was outside smoking, when I noticed flashing in the distance. Grabbed my cell phone to zoom in on object. I started recording the object. It would move in a circular motion. Flash red, blue, white, green. Resembled a fireball of energy bursting repeatedly. Move across the sky in a unpredictable manner. I was terrified.

Witness was leaving cousin's home returning to Portland after the holidays and reportedly saw a "big red ball" or orb in the sky over Lummi Island, approaching the Reservation . Witness was on Smokehouse Rd. when the object turned North and came almost overhead. It then proceeded North, stopped, and then reversed its course, came back over the Reservation, and finally went out to Lummi Island and hovered there a bit. It then disappeared behind the island. Object was observed for for 10 to 15 minutes. Witness tried to take picture with cell phone but it "wouldn't work right". Color and size doesn't sound like an aircraft navigation light. No sound reported. (MUFON).

Vancouver, WA

Tonight [here] in Vancouver, Washington, we have an apparent full moon and a sporadic cloud-cover - where the stars are clear and highly visible in between the small puffy clouds lit up in the moonlight... At approx. 9:00 am (for some reason) I stepped outside to look up into the evening sky towards the south - which would be in the direction of East Portland, Oregon (located approx. 5-miles across the Columbia River from where we live)... While gazing up into that direction (at an approx. 30 35-degrees above the horizon), I suddenly noticed a bright bluish/white sphere which appeared to swiftly leap over a small/isolated cloud in an "up/over/and down" type of arcing maneuver (while heading from a northerly position, and then towards the south, as if to hide from my view behind the cloud)... Approximately 2 or 3 seconds later, and to my shock & amazement, the brightly-lit bluish/white sphere (again) suddenly reappeared from behind the same isolated cloud, and then it leapt back over it in the same exact arcing type maneuver as before, only this time heading towards my direction (to the north from its southerly position from behind the cloud)... The sphere [then] winked out completely in an instant after retaining the initial position where it had first lit itself up from the north side of the small isolated cloud that was involved in this sighting... The aerial maneuvers that this illuminating sphere had displayed to me were definitely not of any known earthly aircraft found in today's world... I somehow got the feeling that the light had an intelligence inside of it which was controlling its maneuverability, and that when the sphere had suddenly reversed its direction towards me (in a swift/leaping upwards-then-downwards arc), that it knew that I had spotted it, and that it was merely showing-off its seemingly impossible capabilities to satisfy my lifelong fascination & curiosity for this type of phenomena.! .. I am 60-years old now, and tonight's otherworldly aerial display chalks itself up to be my 4th UFO sighting thus to date.

The object started out appearing like a bright star or planet. Something seemed odd about it. It was staitionary for about five mins, then it defended strait down, and we knew it was not a star. We drove towards it to get a better look. At that point it seemed to start following us. It became a game of cat and mouse for 45 minutes. At one point it hovered over us. When it wasn't in the bright star position, it appeared to have a blinking blue lift, and a blinking red light. It flew over us about 200 feet off the ground, and looked like a flat streamlined jet, no sound, and when it tunned, it remains horizontal no wing tips, gluiding through the air.

Observing the sky I noted what I first thought to be a large bird traveling at moderate speed in a westerly direction. As the object was headed west, a commercial aircraft was leaving KSEA (SeaTac) on a southern flight path. I attempted to point out the "bird" to a friend who did not locate it. At that point it was rather small in the sky and was basically a dark object. The sun was low to the SW. I noted a very bright reflection that seemed much large in scale then the sizeof the object. I can completely rule out an aircraft, as the direction of flight would have been an airspace violation. Once I witnessed the unexpected shimmer, I lost sight of it. I estimate that the object traveled from the Auburn valley to I-5 in less than 60 seconds. There was a distinct cloud ceiling, which is was under. Conditions at KSEA are as follows: Conditions at: KSEA (SEATTLE/METRO , WA, US) observed 0153 UTC 25 March 2018 Temperature: 7.2°C (45°F) Winds: from the WSW (250 degrees) at 6 MPH (5 knots; 2.6 m/s) Visibility: 10 or more miles (16+ km) Ceiling: 12000 feet AGL Clouds: few clouds at 3000 feet AGL scattered clouds at 6000 feet AGL broken clouds at 12000 feet AGL broken clouds at 20000 feet AGL The traverse of the sky seemed to match that of a large raptor at approx 1000 feet altitude. The time it took to gain distance, etc. This is what I thought I was seeing, until it brightly reflected the sun for a brief moment. It it were at 5000 feet, it was traveling at approx. 250 knots. At 10,000, triple that. I report this in case others may report a similar or related incident.

On March 19, 2018, at around 3:30pm I was standing at my kitchen sink, talking on the phone with my mom. I was looking out the window above the kitchen sink while talking on the phone when I noticed light colored, metallic-looking objects in the sky. Initially, I thought they were birds as it is very common to see seagulls, bald eagles, hawks, and other birds where we live. At first, I thought the objects were seagulls. Then I noticed they were moving unlike birds and also moving in and out of the clouds. We had somewhat unusual weather that day with dark clouds in the sky above us, but sun shining in from the west. The sun reflecting off the objects against the dark clouds is what made them noticeable, as they were so small, I probably could not have seen them under normal weather circumstances. The reflecting sun is also what led me to believe they were metallic. As I watched the objects, I observed them moving up and down in and out of the clouds, as well as side to side. At that point they clearly were not birds. I’ve never see birds fly so high up as to go in and out of clouds at the altitude these objects were flying at. They almost moved in a playful manner, seeming to chase each other in and out of the clouds. I believe there were at least two, maybe three, but because they were moving in and out of the clouds it is hard to say with certainly how many; there were at least two, though. The entire event lasted maybe a minute, if that. I said to my mom on the phone, “Oh my god, I think I’m seeing UFOs!” Then they were gone. They disappeared into the clouds and I haven’t seen them since. It should be noted that we live very near to the Canadian border and I saw these objects to the north, quite possibly over Canada. At the time of the event I had a hard time making sense of what I was seeing. I was watching these object, expecting them to act like birds but they didn’t. When I realized they couldn’t be birds, my brain was trying to make sense of what I was seeing, but couldn’t and it was difficult to process while it was happening. Nobody else was with me and, to my knowledge, nobody else saw what I saw. I am a married, stay-at-home mom to three little boys. I have an M.A. in History, a B.A. in Humanities, and worked as an archivist before our first son was born. I own a small cookie decorating business on the side.

Was on cellphone at the time, looked up to the sky (facing South-West) and saw a orange/red, VERY BRIGHT, completely silent, flaming ball of light shoot from the sky straight down (perpendicular) to earth. I was in Cle Elum Wa, 98922. My best guess is it dropped from the sky to roughly Blowout Mountain in Washington State, 98022. It was out of view after dropping past the mountain range. No one else saw it from what I know. Witness elects to remain semi-anonymous PD

Castle Rock, WA

Late on the night of the 14th of March, I heard a helicopter make several passes over my home. Something that's not very common where I live in rural WA. Being a bit of a sky watcher, I go outside each time I hear the helicopter fly overhead. I can't see anything out of the ordinary with the helicopter, and being that it's night I can't see what model of helicopter it is. Just the usual distinctive sound of it's rotors and white and red flashing indicator lights. On the third pass overheard I am able to see that the helicopter seems to be chasing a dim shape. I can't be certain of the exact shape, but it may have been triangular and it was about the same size or maybe a little bigger than the helicopter. The only illumination I can see coming from the object is dim white lights at each end. The lights do not flash like a conventional aircraft's markers, they are constant. The entire time I can hear the constant sound of as single rotor helicopter, but I can not heard anything distinctive from the object it was chasing. One final note; I can't be sure of the altitude of either craft, but given the sound and relative distances I'm think both the helicopter and the object were no more than about 500 feet or so up. Probably closer to 300 to 400. Pretty dang low to the deck, as these things go. I can't gauge speed but not exceptionally fast. 60 MPH perhaps, probably a bit faster.

Looked up in the sky and saw a bright light through the clouds. It moved fairly quickly across about 1/6th of the sky. I had assumed it was only a satellite until it stopped. After about 15 seconds it changed directions at a sharp 90° angle went on for about 30 seconds to a minute and changed directions again, this time back towards the way it came for about another minute or 2. It stopped there and didn't move for awhile. I went inside for about 20 minutes and just went back out. It's gone now. Current time 22:30. Maybe somebody else saw this.

I did manage to take some pics on my phone and when I zoomed in on the pics when I got home, I noticed some odd results. There was some other odd occurrences also around this time. A huge ship that was close to the beach all the sudden was gone, which was off because they don't move that fast, a small prop plane was flying around and then all the sudden was gone and there was a commercial looking airplane flying over around that time and just seemed to be gone. Those things didn't seem to be too weird at the time but with the UFO sighting, it was a very eerie moment. It was like " Wait, what?", "What the heck is going on right now?!" kind of moment.

Issaquah/North Bend (between; I-90 E), WA

A friend and I were returning home to the North Bend area around 4:15am, on March 11th. We were traveling eastbound on I-90, enjoying the drive with almost no traffic going eastbound. We had just passed the exit for Preston, and headed down the grade and were traveling up the rather long uphill grade of I-90, traveling in the number 3 lane. I had the cruise control on 70mph, as I almost always do when there is little or no traffic. I am a former County and Federal law enforcement officer and always cognizant of other vehicles in my vicinity of travel. I check my rear view mirror very often for approaching traffic. There were no vehicles traveling eastbound from the time we passed through Issaquah and onto this stretch of I-90. Approximately half way up this rather long grade of I-90, and before exit #25, that exits onto I-18, I glanced in my rear view mirror and was shocked to see what appeared to be two rectangular headlights right on our tail. I assumed this was a motor vehicle, and there was no noise. I quickly glanced to my right side mirror to make sure no other vehicles were approaching, and was planning on making a quick lane change to get out of the way of this vehicle, then quickly glanced in the rear view mirror, and the lights were gone. This happened so quickly, that I did not change lanes, but we did immediately slow down so I could look behind us to see if a vehicle had swerved off of the freeway on either side. There were no taillights or headlights that I could see on either side of the highway behind us. My passenger and I talked about this, and what had just happened, and I was in bewilderment. I tried to reason things out as to what had just occurred. Something in my mind was telling me that something else besides just the 'headlights' was strange, but I could not put my finger on it. Roughly 3 or so minutes later, while still traveling, I got a pounding headache in the center of my head, and this continued well into the following day, even after taking several Aleve tablets. The next day, this incident continued playing through my head, and this is when I realized that the headlights were not only rectangular in shape, but they did NOT emit a forward shining beam, that headlights are designed to do. Both of these 'headlights' were just lights and did not actually shine into my rear view mirror, but were bright nonetheless, and the rectangular shape of both lights were defined in their shape. I have no explanation of what these lights were, and neither did my passenger. Two days later, I traveled this major highway into Bellevue, and on the way home to North Bend, I carefully checked out both sides of I-90 in the area of this incident to see if there was any indication of a vehicle going off the roadway, there was none. Just a little bit about my background, I was enlisted in the Air Force, and obtained my Commercial pilot license and instrument/seaplane ratings. I have over 3600 hours in fixed wing aircraft. Rather than pursuing a career in aviation as a young adult, I chose law enforcement, where I worked with the County, as well as a Federal law enforcement agency. We spoke via telephone with the witness, and found him to be both eloquent, and convincing. His credentials as a law enforcement officer, as well as an experienced commercial pilot, speak for themselves, we believe. PD

It moved fast but not quite as fast as a shooting star. It also had no visible tracer or trail behind it. It lasted just a few seconds before it disappeared behind some mountains. Did anyone else see this??? Possible meteor? ((ADDENDUM FROM WITNESS)) Hi Peter, The object was traveling slightly more in the south east direction. Hard to tell as I was rounding a curve on the freeway. This object seemed to be larger than the size of a star in the night sky, but much smaller than the size of the moon. The object was also about the altitude of a aircraft (or higher) as it flew out over the cascades and disappeared out of my sight. It didn't seem to be ascending or descending but more of a straight level path across the sky. It also had no fragments tailing behind. It was almost an orb type ball of light. It left no visible trailings or tracers behind it. It did not appear to be a fire ball, as to what most people report as meteors. It didn't seem to fizzle out or burn up. It simply just flew out of my view when it went past the foot hills. Seemed very odd and gave me an uneasy feeling, along with goosebumps. I hope this helps describe the event. I am happy to answer any other questions you may have. Thank you, ((name deleted)) ((END ADDENDUM))

March 4, 2018; Tacoma, Washington. 8:45 PM. Witness went outside to take the garbage to the alley and noticed a red glowing object (not blinking) off to the east, estimated at about a mile or two away. It was about 30 degrees above the horizon, at first assumed to be a helicopter or a plane since there's a military base and airports nearby. But he noticed it was travelling faster than any military aircraft he'd ever seen, and being as close as it was it made absolutely no noise. It traveled left to right really fast, then stop instantly, then went back in the opposite direction and instantly stopped, then returned to right again "super fast". It moved off towards the SE very quickly and he lost sight of it. (MUFON CMS)

We were driving down I-90 eastbound through Issaquah. We noticed many paragliders near the mountain so we were looking up. Then my mom pointed out a completely static sphere hovering above the trees. It was white. It was smaller than the paragliders and below them. I watched for about 30 seconds before I was able to get my phone out to record. It did not move at all. I'm sure the paragliders must have seen it, as it was just below them. We rounded the hill and could no longer see it. Video provided by witness shows a very small image of a light-colored object in the norther sky. We are unable to make a positive identification of the object. PD

Six bright lights with one dark object underneath them in the sky over Redmond, WA. They were moving SW to NE at 5:45 PM on 3/2/18 just underneath the cloud cover. There was one bright light some distance ahead of the other five objects. They were all traveling at the same speed. The four bright lights trailing the lead object would quickly change position in the sky. Much quicker than I would suspects an airplane could do. The dark object underneath those four objects never changed position. There was no noise associated with their movement through the sky. I was not able to get to a camera quick enough to take a picture.

Yakima, WA

The first page of this report was submitted on 02/12/18 but I have been observing the lights for an additional two weeks now so I kept notes with the original statement and am now submitting notes on the entire 14 nights of observation. Please, if possible, do respond to me as offered in the Center's voice message, these appearances are growing disturbingly unsettling and no one else can offer any advice or explanation. Last night, Feb. 12, 2018, I was watching television in the back room at about 7 p.m. When through the window I noticed an unusually bright star in an unfamiliar area of the sky. As I watched, the star seemed to move back and forth quickly and repeatedly. My curiosity was aroused, so I went out to the front porch and turning off the porch light, stood looking at the unusual star. In the full darkness (we live in a rural area) I could also see that the star was giving off faint alternating red, yellow and green glows. It would remain steady for a time and then suddenly, with no warning, shoot rapidly off to one side then without visibly stopping, shoot rapidly back in the direction from which it came. It did not turn around, it simply reversed direction midflight. And it was very fast, like a ball hit by a bat! My curiosity grew and I got a pair of binoculars to get a better look as the star was, of course, distant. Although it was very dark, with the binoculars I could see that the glow I was glimpsing was comprised of a double row of lights which appeared to encircle what I was beginning to suspect was an aircraft of some type. I went in and called the Sheriff's Dept. and reported the sighting and asked if anyone else had reported seeing the object. The dispatcher said they had received no other calls but suggested I contact the Military Training Center located near my home. I called them and was told that they weren't doing any aerial maneuvers that night and no one had mentioned seeing the unusual light in the sky. It was shift change and I was not able to get anyone to go out and look into the sky to see if they could see it. (I called again later and the person I spoke with just advised me to call local authorities as the light wasn't appearing over the base, so was outside their jurisdiction.) I continued watching the light until 11:00 p.m. During this time it became much more active, shooting rapidly from a motionless position sometimes straight up, sometimes horizontally, then, without pausing at all, reversing direction and returning to its original position. It never appeared to turn, it simply reversed itself on its existing plane without slowing, one moment it was going east and then suddenly it was going west! Eventually the light began traveling in a wide arc around my house, passing over the town of Selah and disappearing behind the leafless branches of the trees in my back yard. As it made these passes it seemed to come much closer, with the binoculars I could make out a faint gray shape, somewhat like a clamshell form with lights circling the middle. It didn't come close enough to see clearly even with the binoculars because it was very dark and I could only see the vague shape due to the illumination from encircling lights it carried. Over the four hours that I observed it, I didn't watch it constantly, just kept checking every few minutes to see where it was and what it was doing as it had begun to make me nervous, it performed many odd maneuvers. A few times it would dart back and forth in an “invisible” perimeter, similar to a “superball” slamming wildly about in every direction inside a translucent globe. Other times it would unexpectedly shoot straight up until it disappeared and then suddenly reappear in the distance exactly retracing its upward path on its return. Sometimes it would suddenly disappear, like turning off a light bulb, then reappear somewhere else in the sky, usually at a distance but unmistakable because of its shape and colors. Once or twice two other smaller lights appeared and darted around the original for a few minutes and then disappeared. The smaller lights moved just as quickly and deftly as the larger but didn't give off any colors apart from their “starlight” glow. As the h! ours passed the original light seemed to grow larger and more vivid. By the time I went to bed at 11:00 p.m., It was much easier to make out without binoculars, looking like a tiny burst of fireworks high in the distant sky. When I first spotted the light I called my sister-in-law and her husband outside to view it as well, they saw it and commented on how odd it was, how quickly it moved and we all wondered what it was. I also called a neighbor to see if she had a phone which could snap pictures or take video of this light. I walked over to her house and pointed it out to her, she commented that she had seen odd lights once or twice before in the area. She tried to film it but her phone wasn't capable of capturing a viable image, in the distance it just looked like a star and she didn't have video capability. 02/13/18 –-The light is again in the night sky in relatively the same spot it was “based” last night. It moves around but always seems to return to the same spot. At first it appears to just be a very bright star, one among many in the sky just brighter and slightly larger than the others. But after a few seconds observation it begins to move, always returning to its original position in the sky. It is very high, far above the flight path of passing airplanes and MUCH faster than the planes. With binoculars you can see that it gives off an alternating red and green glow, sometimes the glow is barely visible without binoculars. It is cloudy tonight but the light and some stars are still visible although at times they are partially obscured by the clouds but the bright moving light is visible as a glow even when obscured by clouds. The light blinks off and on at times as well as occasionally giving off the alternating red and green glow. 02/14/18 – Light again in the sky tonight, neither as bright nor as active as the past two nights but still moves around, then returns to “base” and remains immobile for 5-20 seconds then begins to move again. At 7:14 p.m. it suddenly erupted into a miniature “fireworks” display for about 30 seconds – a burst of cascading colors which in the distance appears to be about the size of a pencil eraser. Again tonight I checked on it sporadically for hours and it is always there. 02/15/18 – Very overcast tonight, can’t even see the moon much less stars or the strange light. 02/16/18 – The object is again in the sky in its usual spot, as each time before it is motionless until I watch it for a few seconds, then it begins to move. Honestly this is beginning to disturb me, it is almost as if it remains motionless until it becomes aware of me either inside at the unlit window or on the back porch. Does it remain motionless when not being observed? If so, how does it detect observation from such a distance? I wish I could film it to see if it only moves when being observed. I have wondered if it is an illusion, but I asked Mark and Karen to come to look as well again tonight and both of them remarked on how quickly and obviously it moved and how agile it appears to be. They are not small movements, it goes both short and long distances but always eventually returns to its “base”. It is very obviously not a plane. We are near an airport and planes pass by fairly regularly, the light is far above them, moves much faster, can stop completely an! d remain still and performs maneuvers that a plane could never do and I suspect neither could a helicopter. What is this thing?? 02/17/18 – The light is not as active tonight as usual, also it has moved its “base” slightly to the west. I have tried looking for it during the day but it only seems to be visible after dark. I have gotten up at odd hours, midnight, 3:00 a.m. and 5 a.m. and since it is still da
