Image was west in the sky moving slowly back and forth. It was bright orangeish and got dimmer as I got closer. After about 40 seconds it vanished as it appeared to get further away. It did not blink, it was solid with hazy edges. Orange in color. On a side note, the power went off in a large area around the sighting at 11pm

A very fast moving light across the sky moved over the area near Belsay and Perry Rds. at extreme speed and in the back drop jet with blinking lights was compared and speed was considerably slower than light. Light wasn't a satellite, or meteor. It moved in a diagonal path across a clear, star light night and finally disappeared in a cloud after about 90 seconds. The object appeared as a star size light at first, but the speed and movement alerted us to something not celestially fixed. It had no blinking lights as an aircraft or jet would have, it wasn't tacking along as a satellite does and speed was too fast, and it didn't leave a streak or a quickly burning and disappear as a meteor would do. It crossed from the edge of the southern eastern sky to the northern eastern sky line before disappearing in a transparent cloud as the night was fairly clear and the stars seen fairly well as this part of the area has few light pollution interference from the ground. At approximately 22:47 on June 27, 2014, while sitting on our screened-in porch overlooking Lake Michigan three of us observed an Orange/red sphere moving basically south to north. It was too bright to be an aircraft, and didn't have flashing marker lights. Our view is from the eastern shore facing west - so it couldn't have been light reflecting off of an aircraft. This was a fairly calm night and we couldn't hear any noise from the object. It covered the distance from south to north in a minute or two. It is hard to judge the altitude maybe several hundred to a thousand feet from the lakes surface. The cottage porch is about 30 yards from the surf line and 80 feet above the water. While we were wondering what it could have been at 22:57 ish another object the same as previously described glided by along a slightly more east/north track from south to north like the first one.

They were round amber lights floating across the sky in Zeeland, Michigan. We saw a few dozen. At first they all seemed to be in a straight line but a few were travelling side by side. Some appeared to touch each other. My husband is a professional pilot and said they were not aircraft. He said there were no port or starboard running lights. He thought they were some type of lanterns attached to helium ballons that someone was lighting on the ground and releasing. But it is raining steadily so I am somewhat doubtful. When we went indoors the lights were still coming. We would like to know if others saw these lights. Thanks.

Detroit Metro is that direction, so I thought nothing of it. The two objects passed over my head slowly, no blinking lights, at the same speed and kept the same distance from each other. About two minutes later another appeared from the same direction, this one I got phone footage of. After thinking I saw some weird shit, I saw another emerging from the same direction through the trees. This one moved slower and didnt seem to keep a steady direction. It didnt pass over head like the others then what seemed like only two blocks away it seemed to somewhat implode, then turn to dust and slowly just disappear. I got footage of this also but the lighting totally sucks. I ran inside and awoke my girlfriend who thought I was just crazy, and sure as shit he comes another, it also passed over our house and out of site as we watched through a window. I sat outside for another hour waiting for something else to occur but nothing happened.

Plymouth - Northville, MI
UFO while heading north on I-275, (Plymouth to Northville) it is flattened rhomboid shape that was matching our northbound speed, turning from time to time, on edge it was extremely thin relative to the broad side. It was light gray, totally devoid of any markings on broad side. It was not a blimp, not a balloon, not a helicopter, not a plane. This thing was at LEAST 200 ft to 300 ft long on all 4 sides and was just a little more than 1/2 mile away at the closest distance. In person, you could see the distinct shape with 4 sharp corners. Its shape was similar to a square with one side locked in place, and with the remaining sides pushed over maybe 10-20 degrees. When it rotated, edge-wise, it couldn't have been more than 10-20 feet thick (very rough approximation). Extremely unusual shape for anything in the air, sustained. It remained at same speed (55mph) 4:45p as traffic was moving from Ann Arbor Rd until 7 mile Rd on I-275, then took off north fast & disappeared over the horizon northbound. As we got closer it was extremely apparent it was nothing I’d ever seen or anything conventional and was at our 10 o’clock relative to travel north on the freeway, perhaps a half mile away. I took 5 photos to confirm it.

I walked out on my back porch to smoke and looked up and saw 5 what I thought were stars, until 3 of them started moving. They were a perfect triangle moving from south to north following Gratiot avenue and crossing 23 mile road in Chesterfield Michigan. At first, I was stunned. I finally yelled to my wife to come downstairs from our bedroom. When she was coming down she slipped and I ran in to help her. When we got outside the shape was gone. This took place in all about 20-25 seconds. We stood outside for a moment when my wife asked me if it "looked like that?" She pointed up and there was a bright light very high fade in and out. It was to fast to be a satellite and to high for an airplane. Then there was another. All were going in the same direction, north to south. I have never seen anything like this before in my life and it made all the hair on my body stand up on end.

This was as an off white lite, much larger than any incoming airplanes I've watched, with a domed-shaped, very red, light about and over the top of it, from side to side, but no red cast of light on the bottom. The red glow was more than twice the size of the off white area of light. It was directly overhead when I first saw it, moving at about the same rate as I have seen thousands of airliners overhead here at around 5000 foot altitude, but no position lights were flashing. It moved from SE to NW. The sky was clear, I could see a full field of stars from horizon to horizon. This object remained at the same rate of travel, then disappeared when it was 32 degrees from the horizon. Given the day and hour, it may have been the sun playing off an airliner, but I've been watching the sky for 45 years in Michigan, and have never seen anything anywhere near what I just saw.

The white light stayed in one spot and seemed almost as though it may have been moving around ever so slightly in its little area. Couldn't tell if it actually was or if it was our eyes playing tricks on us. After I researched that you can't see stars during the day we looked back up in the sky and saw that it was gone. My husband then reported he saw one flash in the same area. After that we didn't see it anymore.

Wixom, MI
At about 4:20 pm on Thursday, June 5, 2014, the sky was sunny and clear, with no clouds, the temperature was 78 degrees Fahrenheit, humidity 25%, wind 11mph. While traveling east bound on I-96 in a Ford F-150, my brother-in-law and I both saw an unidentifiable flying object over the City of Wixom. We exited I-96, onto Wixom Road, traveling North bound and could not find the object anywhere in the sky after our turn. The object was cigar shaped and whitish in color. It appeared to be slightly West of town, which is North-East of where we were, when we saw it. It seemed to be hovering over Wixom, not moving. We traveled a mile or so, watching it and trying to determine what it could be. He spotted it first, miles before I saw it. We were traveling at just under 70 mph. We called my sister with a report of this incident. She called our best friend and then, the Wixom Police Department, the WOMC (104.3 FM) radio station, finally, the National UFO Reporting Center. She asked each of them to let her know if anyone else reports a sighting of this event. She was instructed by the NUFORC to have each of us to sit down and independently write out our own reports of this sighing as soon as we returned home that evening. We had company over the weekend, so this was my first opportunity to make my report of the incident.

We were heading down M-66 North and I could see in the distance a weird fireball in the sky. When we approached the ball it was hovering above the cemetery (before White Rabbit Rd) about 70 feet in the air. We pulled in to watch, the ball hovered and turned orange and red. It then started to ascend in the sky higher still changing colors and finally disappeared after about ten minutes. It was way above the tree lines when it disappeared about 200 feet or more up. There were other people in the cemetery that night but none of them seemed to notice what was above them? My sons were with me ages 12 and 14 and verify the same thing!

Okay so here Iam on ore lake having a fire by myself and i just happen to look up above the lake on the edge of my big pine tree, and i see what looks identical to a star just shining in the sky, so I'm watching it and its moving east for about 2 minutes, I'm staring at it, there are no blinking lights at all like I said same exact color and size as a star that's just shining, eventually it went too far for my eye sight to see anymore and i have very good eye vision. Weird never seen that before, maybee a satellite, I don't know but it wasn't a plane cause I'm close to the airport so I know what they look like, once again same color and size of a bright star that u would see in the every night sky, its very clear out right now too. Star sighting?? PD

At about 23:30 on May 31, 2014, I was sitting on a couch in a dark room watching a fire in the fireplace; I happened to glance through a window (located on the north side of the condominium) up into the dark night sky (there was little moonlight outside, I believe we had a waxing crescent moon) at about a 45° angle. I noticed three dark orange spheres out in the distance come into view; they were descending, traveling southward in a fairly straight-line formation toward me from a northwardly direction. The three spheres were spaced about the same distance apart as they descended toward me. As they descended they appeared to begin a slow sweeping arch toward a southwest direction. After about 15 seconds the second (center) sphere appeared to release three small (pin-size) spheres from directly beneath it; all three spheres fell equal distance apart for 3–5 seconds prior to totally, instantly, disappearing. The three dark orange spheres—each appearing to be slightly larger than a pencil eraser—continued their slow, sweeping southwestward descent. As the three spheres were beginning to level off while continuing to turn (and while they were just barely north of my position) I stepped out onto the deck to get a better view. The distance between the three spheres appeared to expand. As the sphere in front started to move in a more westward direction and began to gain altitude the middle sphere released three additional small (pin-size) spheres from directly beneath it; all three of these spheres also fell equal distance apart for 3–5 seconds prior to totally, instantly disappearing. The lead sphere began to pull away from the other two as it gained altitude as it traveled in a westward direction; the second (middle) sphere also began to gain attitude as it traveled in a westward direction. The third (and last) sphere appeared to slow as it gained altitude while also traveling in a westward direction away from Traverse City. I watched the three spheres until they were completely out of sight…gaining altitude as they continued traveling in a westward direction. The three spheres appeared to be fairly far away from my location; I would estimate they never got closer than Grand Traverse Bay and remained beyond the Peninsula while making their sweep from the northwardly to the westward direction. The spheres appeared to glow. They did not have discrete/separate lights or lights that pulsated; I did not hear any type of noise come from the spheres. I observed the three main spheres for approximately two minutes. The two sets of spheres that fell from beneath the second (center) sphere instantly disappeared after 3–5 seconds.

I live in redford michigan. On 5/31/14 at 10:27 pm i saw 13 Orange looking orbs moving slowly across the night sky. Some of the orbs were in a triangular formation of sorts, at least two of the orbs were flying alone together and as i watched the orbs move at least two just seemed to vanish in mid flight. Then two of the orbs that were in one of the triangular formation vanished .

Sunday, 05/25/2014, 22:27-22:30 EDT. Warren, MI. Three very bright lights go by overhead, one at a time. My 2 dogs were barking to go outside, so I slid open the patio door and let them out, and saw a single bright light through the tree's to the south. At first I thought it was fireworks because some people were celebrating Memorial Day, but as it continued in a straight line from south to north and got past the tree, it did not act like a firework. It moved smoothly in a straight line, much like the space station does, and appeared to be very high up, but that is just a guess because I have no reference point. I could see no structure, just a very bright light. Brighter than Venus. More like a magnesium flare type of brightness. So bright the I saw prominent spikes of light from the central bright dot of light. It was a pale orange, yellow in color, and flickered like a candle flame, from so bright that it looked like spikes coming out of it, to so dim it looked like a fading ember of coal. As I watched it fade out to the north, I notice 2 more coming along the exact same path from the south. They were spaced about 8 full moons apart, and repeated across the sky in the same manner as the first. At first I was scared, but when they did not seem to alter their path in any way, did not stop, just kept going on their way, I was excited, but did not want to leave the scene to get my camera, because by the time I found it and came back out, it would be gone.

Reddish-orange circular object outlined by elo heading north to south. It was traveling at a decent rate of speed and then slowed down for 20 seconds as it went over our airport here it went vertical and out of sight no more lights. There was no such thing flashing it was a constant light until it went vertical out of sight. I called the airport sheriff and he said he saw nothing and gave me the phone number to the tower and nobody at the Tower answer the phone. This is my second fighting of an object like this. The first one was the size of a moon and was probably 40 miles away. The one thing I can't explain and I find interesting is that when I sleep I hear high pitched Morse code in my ears. I know you said you don't read anything that is a joke or a hoax I know this is crazy to most but the cold in my ears has gone on for years before I started to have sightings. I would like to know if you have gathered any other information that coincides with this.

*Might* have been a helicopter. BUT lights and movement quite unusual if so: 4 vertical red lights + very bright blue light in the middle and to the right of the red vertical lights, blinking in an ON-pause-ON-OFF repeating pattern, each ON about 1.5 seconds, the pause about 1/10 sec, the OFF about 1/4 sec. Size of lights/craft were roughly size of fingernail on man's pinky finger held at arm's length. Lights/craft were stationary for more than a minute... then object moved horizontally about 1.5 x the width of a man's fist at arms length, then stopped abruptly, then slowly descended to below tree top level over the course of about 10 seconds, when sighting was lost. Lights/craft was approximately 30 degrees elevation from the horizon, viewed in a southeast direction from northeast Ann Arbor, about 120 degrees southeast, measured clockwise from magnetic north. No sound was heard, but could have been masked by nearby highway noise. Movement of lights/craft appeared to be very precise.

At 0330-0340, I got up to observe the meteor shower. I observed a bright light (brighter than any other object in the sky) at zenith and proceeding north. I had time to step inside my house and retrieve a pair of binoculars. The object had moved 25-30 degrees off vertical in the 15 seconds it took to return with the binoculars. Closer observation revealed the bright light to be three bright white lights flying in close triangle formation. No navigation lights were visible. Lights did not blink or waver. No sound was noted. Lights were moving 2 x 3 times faster than the occasional jet traffic that passes over our very small town. No meteors were observed during this period. No other satellites were visible. Again, this observation was noteworthy as the object traveled south to north. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD
