Columbus, OH
I am a credible professional on sales here in Columbus, with a wife and two children under two. This morning, around 5:45 am, I am outside with the dog for his morning bathroom routine. Noticed very bright light in the sky. Assumed it was an airplane. Noticed that there was no sound, however. Light remained stationary for a few seconds, then the light seemed to move vertically skyward and away southeast. I kept my eyes fixed on the light until it completely disappeared. It looked as though the light went from very close and bright to nothing more than a very distant star, to nothing at all.

In an effort to consolidate the information into convenient delivery, I will use this single report to relate several sightings I have recently witnessed, between the dates of August 31st, 2015 to September 16th, 2015. I have decided to share these experiences given (a) the extraordinary nature of the various sightings; (b) my fear of forgetting details, with no written record; and (c) the non-response from MUFON of Ohio in taking down these details, following an e-mail submitted weeks ago.. I will present these sightings in bullet fashion, with emphasis on brevity and unique, distinguishing details. August 31st, , @ 21:15: I stepped outside to our covered back patio, and “heard” a thought that said: Go to the yard and look up at the sky. With no hesitation, I acted on this thought and with clear view of the sky, I looked up and proceeded to witness something remarkable. One star, in stasis with other stars, went from a notably idle state to, suddenly, scanning across the sky, east to west. It proceeded to slow down, and then took a 90-degree turn to the right, heading north. As it went north, its body’s light exponentially increased in velocity, until it appeared approximately 10x brighter than its initial glow. Then, it disappeared. Sighting duration: 10-12 seconds. ((Note: I remember seeing two other interesting things that same night, but given the nature of, and my focus on, subsequent sightings, I cannot recall their defining characteristics.) September 1st, 2015, @ approx. 21:00: From same location, I (and a few family members) observed a glowing orb of light, low in the western sky, which interchanged between colors of orange, red, yellow, and white. Lights pulsed. The object barely moved, but did venture downward re: our line of sight. Sighting duration: 15 minutes. September 3rd, 2015, @ 21:30 – 23:30: Given the nature of recent sightings, I developed new interest to taking a look at the night sky. On this night, I saw three quick flashes of light –imagine lights flashing once from three points of a triangle–around Sirius. On this same evening, I saw something fly much lower, and it pulsed multiple (15+) lights at once, with lights varying in color with each pulse. Colors were of warmer nature. Sighting duration(s): 3 Flashes: 2 seconds; “Pulsing” craft: 1 minute. Please note: Over the course of these evenings, I do indeed see multiple planes, helicopters, and accumulatively, about 10 shooting stars. September 8th, 2015 @ 18:30: As sun set in the West, I watched as a plane descended, heading east from west, and I took it upon myself to observe its lighting patterns, in an effort to further inform myself on possible plane ID factors for nighttime observations. It was low in altitude, and its descent east was done to prepare for a loop-around to land at the airport, south of my location. As I watched the plane go to the east of me, I saw – quite clearly, unambiguously, and with complete surprise – a white “cigar” craft, “hovering” at about the same altitude as the plane. It had no wings, no windows, and it resembled a white stick, traveling from north to south at leisurely speed. *I could see both the plane and the cigar in the same “frame” of sight.* It went behind some trees, and I did not think to keep track of it, as I was in a state of surprise and amazement. Sighting duration: 15 seconds. Note: While the video is not the best, the cigar I witnessed looked and moved exactly like the one featured in this video I found after a search online, about one week after the sighting. In my viewing, it was closer to me than it was in this seemingly-sound videoed sighting. Link: http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=1eb_1434824886 September 8th, 2015 @ 22:00: I observed a “star” – similar to my first sighting – scan across the sky, going from north to south, to the east of me. It traveled quickly, but not at any immense rapidity, and I managed to make a call to have another person come outside and see it. Just as they stepped out, I lost sight of the “star” behind a backyard tree, and could not locate it when I rushed to other side. After this person returned inside, an identical light quickly crossed from south to north, in the western sky, before disappearing. Sighting(s) duration: 1st star: 40 seconds; 2nd star: 10 seconds. September 16th @ 22:00 - September 17th, 2015 @ 6:00: With another witness, we watched as three lights slowly rose (two to the north of us, and one to the east). The eastern light pulsed with very strong flashes of color, and at one point, a “bloated-seeming” airliner passed underneath it at what appeared to be very close proximity. Of the two northern lights, one seemed rather stationary, while the other moved closer to it, but farther in the northern direction (as in compass, not upward height) than when we first saw it. Later this evening, or rather in the morning, at approx. 5:00, I saw two lights (larger than the “stars” but not by much) which appeared to travel north to south, east of me, and then “phase” out, in a way I can only describe as if they moved beyond an invisibility cloak – in other words: when their body passed respective fixed points, they disappeared, but not all at once, and quite unlike the shooting stars I had also seen that night (which would streak very quickly, and disappear quickly). Sighting(s) duration: approx. 7 seconds, and 3 seconds. Then, at approx. 5:40, a light to the east rose slowly (but quickly compared to the rest of the sky’s scan). I have heard mention of Venus appearing very brightly this past month, and with respect to this single sighting, I do make room that I may have been looking at Venus. However, a few things to point out: (a) This light was easily the brightest light I have ever seen in the sky, excluding the sun during the day; brighter than the moon. (b) There was no definite shape to the light; its glow was a very bright, very concentrated golden light, and it hurt to look at it (similar to the sun). (c) My cell phone can barely record the moon when it is full, and it cannot catch the stars at night, nor any of my other night sightings, but it was able to register this object, with ONE major exception: the light, as I saw it, was an amorphous sunshine-like light; my phone’s camera’s capture has it as a rounded orb, which flashes every single imaginable color. *I am very curious as to! why this may be, and if this is the case with Venus or other planetary cell phone video captures.* A few other locals whom I have spoken to have made mention of seeing this very bright light once or twice this month. Sighting duration: 30 minutes. A note on the observer: Until August 31st, I *never* claimed to have seen any Unidentified Flying Object. I am in my mid-twenties, and with my field of work and studies, I am prone to engaging my imagination's muscle. However, I would say say that this does not mean I cannot control my imagination's affect, but rather that my awareness of my imagination has given me a good grasp on what I may make up, as an artist, against what I have now seen with my own eyes, for the very first time. I do hope that these are not the last of my sightings. This month's activity and sightings can be summed up, for me, as quite extraordinary, and, already, privately treasured.

Amelia, OH
At dusk, while outside there was an orange/red light in the sky traveling in a northwest direction. Once the light was directly west of my location it disappeared. Then a few minutes later same/another light showed up in the same area/directions of the first. This reoccurred estimated 6 times for the next 30 minutes. I went from my back yard to the front and attempted to capture the object on my phone. I was able to capture it in photo and video.

Suddenly, it stopped and started blinking different colors around it. It stood still for like 15 seconds. Then it continued moving forward and it diminished to the size of a star until it disappeared. It look like it came in and out of the Earth's atmosphere.

Oval, orange-white, large candle/fireball floated slowly across the sky approx. 9pm at a smooth, steady speed. Like nothing we’ve ever seen. No sound heard. My husband & I were on our nightly one mile stroll around the neighborhood. Clear night. During our walk we saw it fly by twice, then fly high up into the sky at a faster speed and disappear. Wadsworth, OH
09/5/2015 On the night of September 2, 2015, I had clocked out of work at 11:15pm. I was heading 77/21 south towards home (Wadsworth, Ohio). It was about 11:18 I saw a bright light in the distance that caught my eye. Not being able to identify the object…shocked, I was just watching it in the sky. About 3 minutes later, it looked like it turned and then I saw small white lights on the side of it. These small lights made me think it was an airplane. Then I realized that it could not have been an airplane because it just stayed in one spot and it did not move. Then all the sudden it turned back to its normal state, which was a yellowish orange ball of light reminding me of fire. The size of this object was about 1/3 of a full moon. There were some clouds passing in front of it. About 3 minutes after that the object faded, and then it went out. It vanished into the sky. I POSTED THE ARTICLE BENEATH ON UFOSTALKER.COM “I just left work at around 11:15 PM (9/2/2015) and I was on my way home. I just got on the highway going 77 south and as I was driving. A light caught my eye. I looked up in the distance. I saw a yellowish/orange light in the shape of a circle. I thought it might have been a meteorite, it did not move. It then looked like it turned a little where I saw some white lights on the side. I then thought it was an airplane or jet. But, then it turned back to where it was just the yellowish orange circle again. I watched it for 5 minutes, and then it faded away so quick that it looked like someone turned a light off. It had vanished. I got home and told my boyfriend about it. I then told my daughter the next day. No one believed me. I knew what I saw that night. Finally, I called 19 action news. I found out that no one else has reported anything to the news channel. This is my first sighting of an unidentified object. “

Driving home from work and I saw a pinkish light above the tree line over the Trump ave exit in Canton, heading towards Louisville. The light wasn't very high in the sky and as i watched it it went from one light to two to three in a very distinct triangle formation. It stayed that way for maybe two minutes and then went back to one light and stayed above the tree line.

At approximately 8:30 pm on 8/29/2015, we witnessed 2 then a 3rd strange glowing lights ? In the southern hemisphere moving east very quick then stopping for about 3 -5 seconds. Then one by one they shot straight up into the atmosphere it took 3-4 seconds to disappear. No sounds no red green blinking lights . At first they appeared to be Chinese lanterns with same glowing color. For sure they were not. And they were not helicopters . 3 of us watched in amazement. I'm not a ufo chaser or anything of the sort. I decided to report this 12 hrs later to local authorities. This was just way to bizzare not to say anything.

Blacklick, OH
It was between 6:00 and 6:30 AM. I was looking out my window having coffee, and i saw outside of my house, up in the sky a perfect circle, bright (white maybe silver-ish), but VERY bright. It stood still, no movement, no lights flashing,no noise. I watched clouds come and pass infront of it, I would look away for only seconds, and when i look back, it would be in a new spot, just an inch or two away from where it started. I never saw it moving WHILE looking at it directly. The fact that it was not moving, was what made me wonder...what the heck is it?? It was so bright, that i could look at the sky and see it without trying hard to look for it. there was no other objects in the sky around it, except for clouds passing through. it was blue sky. After i sat here for 40 minutes, maybe longer watching it, a big group of clouds passed infront of it, took them a little while to move out of the way, but when they finally did, the thing was no longer in my sight, it was gone.
August 22, 2015 · 10:00 PM · FIREBALL
Lynchburg, OH
I was driving along Webertown Road outside of Lynchburg, Ohio, and saw a flaming fireball, almost looked like a campfire in the sky floating about 200 ft above a house and it moved around in awkward movements back and forth, and stayed in general area for a few minutes. So I got back into my car, after stopping, then started driving slowly, then the object started going up higher and outwards away from the house above a bunch of woods and as I moved down road it slowly went down into the woods and vanished.

While camping near Alum Creek Lake we were sitting by a small campfire, my girlfriend looked up and said look at this light. It was orange- red and then changed to a whitish color with some red mixed in. It started above a treeline then moved in a steady but fast speed, then it accelerated upward then disappeared slowly into the atmosphere. Another orange-red object appeared over the treeline, very similar to first object it also accelerated up into the atmosphere and disappeared. 2 other similar lights appeared, then in same formation disappeared into the sky. These sightings were almost exactly what I had witnessed in Mt. Vernon, Ohio, on 7/4/15 just prior to their fireworks display at Ariel Foundation Park, the only difference, the objects started as red oval objects above a treeline, then changed from red to the white orange type lights and then accelerated up into the sky. No small plane could accelerate at the speed these lights did and then disappear into the atmosphere. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD

Urbana, OH
Driving westbound on 29 approx. 2 miles from Urbana on State Route 29. Saw diamond shaped craft hovering above cornfield about 100 yards from road. Object appeared to be between 50-100ft across. Object had 4 colored lights-2 green at north/south end, 2 red at east/west end. From a distance, the object appeared to have a bright light, resembling a helicopter, but when approaching object light was not visible. Object was hovering motionless without any audible noise.

We were parked at a church to make a phone call when I looked out the window to my right, and saw three amber colored lights in a triangle with a slightly smaller center light. They were very bright and just above the distant tree line. It seemed to be hovering in place. The object was already there when I noticed it and observed it for about ten seconds when the lights dimmed and disappeared.

Spotted what I thought was a very bright star at first but turned out to be moving directly overhead. No sound and it was just a very bright white light. May have also had some red in it as well. Went directly overhead to Northeast and out of view within a 2 minute span. Saw a plane just after and it looked as if the light was actually higher than the plane. And it was still the brightest in the sky. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD

We were Eastbound on State Route 30 just West of the I-75 interchange. There was a vertical pencil shaped light a head of us just off the right side of the highway. It was white and red and had what looked like it like filaments of the same color trailing off from the sides of it. I looked away for a moment and when I looked back it was gone. My wife, who was driving said she didn't see it.

Lakewood, OH
Ooomfg!!! We were sitting on the front porch at 10:42 PM, Saturday night, 8/15/15, and watched this amber twinkling star like light move straight up from the tree tops (north western sky) up to the stars very quickly! Wow. It went straight up into the night sky into the stars and vanished. It seemed to start off slow then pick up speed as it kept going up to space. Twinkling like an amber star it appeared to have come up from trees in the distance as if it had landed somewhere in the north western part of Lakewood/Rocky River, Ohio, area. Then, it just went straight up, which is unnatural to any plane or helicopter movements. Did not have lights but twinkled like a star.

My cousins and I were on our way home from vacation. at first I thought I was just hallucinating because I saw a red like hovering about 100 feet above the cars. When it was doing that we only saw 1 red light but then it swept down literally only 1 foot above the cars about 100 feet from my car and tilted that's when I noted 2 red lights about the size of stop lights but I couldn't imagine the size because the lights were distant. It swept over the cars tilted to dodge trees and when we passed there was nothing there. If something flew into those trees they would crash and there was nothing there it was gone. Then our radio that was turned off turned up loud as we passed and was static, then turned off. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD

Loveland, OH
Driving home from work when noticed what looked like a stagnant fireball in the sky. It was round and an orange color that seemed after a minute to be very slowly rising. Continued down w. Loveland Ave. and noticed another, then another, and then 2 more identical objects. They all made a diagonal, relatively straight line with the first object being the highest at first. I looked back a few minutes later and the last 2 I saw were higher and closer to the other 2 than at first.

Sunset Beach, OH
We were driving on our way back from Barefoot Landing. We were crossing the bridge leading to sunset beach when I looked out the window and saw 3 bright red/orange lights with a white center in a distinct acute triangle formation. I'm not sure if it was one craft or three small ones but I'm pretty sure it was one craft with three lights. we watched it from the bride for a while till it faded away. It seemed like it was pretty close too. I tried to take a photo with my phone, but it didnt turn out.
