As I was driving home, I noticed a orangish ball/circle of light in the sky for a few seconds. It looked like it went towards the east and there were a few flashes of lights before it seemed to get smaller before disappeared.

While vacationing in Topsail Island, North Carolina, I stepped out to have a smoke and looked to the south towards the pier and noticed a red light in the sky it was high, but not really high. I went in to grab the binoculars and with a closer look, I realized that the red light was now blinking and in a series of patterns that I have never seen on an aircraft. It would disappear, and then reappear a distance of 30 to 40 ft. I went in to get my wife and I grabbed my phone. I started recording, and she looked at it through the binoculars she is a sceptic and I said, "Well, Hun, what do you think of this one?" She replied, "That is weird, really weird" I then grabbed the binoculars from her and began to watch as the object that was heading south stopped doing the blink thing and turned westbound, inland, but there was another green ball of light probably 300 ft above the red object as the lights disappeared behind a house. I went to wait for it on the other side, and when it reappeared, the green light was now about 300 ft below the red light. I watched as it disappeared out of sight. Note: Just before the sighting a marine helicopter flew out to sea and there was no sounds when I experienced my sighting.

While walking to my girlfriends house I saw disks of light circling each other since it was near Halloween I thought they were just decorations but they seemed to follow me. They kept ahead of me and every so often they would disappear. Eventually I noticed that they were doing a pattern (they circled each other and then came together to for one spinning disk with thick edges). I know they weren't just flood lights or something related because they kept following me for about half a mile and always kept about the same distance in front of me. Eventually I was offered a ride and made it to my girlfriend's house and after that I kind of forgot about them.

I wanted to report my own experience concerning a red and green object this morning. I was headed from Raleigh, North Carolina, towards Greenville, North Carolina, around two this morning. I saw a red and green, possibly blue blinking "Star". However the lights flashed at different intervals. It was the lowest object in the sky. I thought it was a plane at first but it seemed to move ever so slightly to the left side of the star above it. I'm pretty positive stars don't move. Maybe if more people start paying attention to them we can raise awareness to find out what these things are. I hope this will offer more information to those in search of answers. I have never noticed this object before in my many, many drives back to Greenville.

I can't say exactly what we saw. My son and I were outside around 9 pm, 10/22/15. It was very dark, but we were just playing toss with the football, and he pointed up to the sky in the south and I saw an orange oval shining orb sitting stationary. It wasn't moving so I passed it off as being Mars or Venus. But a few minutes later as as threw him the ball one moment he saw the planet-looking thing and by the time him caught the ball seconds later the object in the sky had disappeared. Admittedly, we can usually see Mars or Venus however you see those planets throughout the night and whatever we saw was gone. Driving down interstate 85 south to Charlotte, from Kannapolis, NC. Saw a bright green light fall from the sky. Almost the color of a traffic light. It had no tail or trail so I don't think it was a meteor. There is no way I am the only witness. Traffic was very heavy at the time. The light disappeared behind some buildings.

Went out on back deck to smoke cigar and view the Stars as I always try to every night. Noticed the usual airplanes with blinking lights coming from South to North. From the North, I noticed a blinking light heading South but in front of it was a solid light moving in unison. It appeared as if the solid light was pulling the blinking light. I called my daughter to come out and take a look at this object which she did and was amazed as I was. I went in to get the binoculars and asked her to keep it in sight as I would be right back. The object was moving very slow and there was no noise from it. To note it was not as high as the usual planes in their flight paths. It was probably about 5000' (+-)(not good on judging but knew it was isn't flight path of other planes) When I came back with binoculars my daughter said it didn't leave area but seemed to slow down and turn towards the ocean(Atlantic).. We could see it with binoculars but could not make out a shape...when it got from direct sight we could see that it had 2 lights like a car and in the middle was the blinking light that we had saw being 'dragged', so we determined that the light ! in front was like a 'head light'. It was dark object with a barely visible square shape. I mentioned to my daughter that it resembled a car or a bus...as the 2 lights in the rear made me think of it that way. It may have been as big as a School bus.... The object slowly went out of sight over the tree line and we could not see it anymore....in the same time we watched it ...regular planes kept flying by on their Northern path. I see lights all the time as I watch the sky and made a report in July of a large object to MUFON. Every night and morning I see at least every other time some kind of single light(not flashing) unlike regular planes. There are so many lights that do not resemble regular planes in this area. I haven't notified MUFON as of yet and have seen many other light sightings moving .. I have one on video(single light moving West to East) early morning....I watch the sky all the time and it is amazing what is to be seen.

Large red linear blinking light pattern moving south from southern Durham. Was banked sharply to the left, then rotated as it moved away to bank sharply right. It was against a southern constellation, maybe spanning 3 degrees of angular view, within 30 seconds it was far less than 1 degree.

October 2015. Work 3rd shift, left for work approximately 11:15 pm. Drove around ¼ mile from driveway, and upon passing the end of a wooded area, my attention was drawn to my right and up, over a large, open tobacco field. (Approx. 22 acres). There was an illuminated green orb that looked akin to a Christmas tree ornament (the mirrored ball type) hovering at an estimated altitude of 1000-1500ft AGL. The orb appeared to be 30-45ft in diameter. I would guess the distance from my vehicle horizontally to be about 150 yards, as I had to lean over the steering wheel and look up through the windshield to keep the object in view. I witnessed the object remain at a dead stop, hovering, for about 15 seconds, before it began to accelerate away from me in a straight line. It accelerated slowly, at first, but smoothly gained speed so tremendous that before it had even reached the horizon, it disappeared. Was undoubtedly NOT natural phenomena.

I was walking with my family past our horse barn approaching the top of this old apple orchard and my three and half year son points up above the orchard and says “what’s that” we all look and we see what we all agree on was a shiny whirlwind which slowly began moving up higher and higher into the bluebird sky from on top of the orchard hill. My dad and I picked up our pace and moved up the hill to the location where we first saw lit keeping our eyes locked on the phenomenon. We both describe it as silvery shiny orb like things that resembled a school of fish if they were stuck in a vortex. We got really close probably within 50ft and watched as this shiny vortex just moved up up and away. It eventually disappeared as it passed out of view over the ridge line about 400 yards to the NE and 500 ft or so above our initial position. Whatever it was it was magical and none of us would have seen it if my kid hadn’t called it out while we were walking.

On Thursday 10-08-15, my husband was driving home after being in a conference in Durham, nc, through a small town by the name of Mebane. He stopped at a exit where there was a gas station still open. He said he pulled in and saw several people staring across the street toward the sky. When he came out he realized that everyone was staring a dark object surround by blurry white light engulfed in a orangish-pink light. my husband, who is a skeptic about all things unexplained, decided it was some sort of jet/airplane, until the light began to appear to move very slowly in a back and forth motion. He claimed the he was still able to see the light until he reached Greensboro city limits. When he came home and told me about what he saw and I immediately wanted to go back and take a few pictures. I grabbed my phone and we went back the same route he went. It appeared to have been gone, so we turned around to head back home. We took a back route through G! reensboro and we came upon tow cars parked almost in the middle of a lane. There it was. Clear as you can imagine. My husbands description was fairly accurate except I wouldn't say it was moving back and forth. I would describe it as more of a hoover, a bob like motion. I took my camera out and although my phone didn't get the best shot, it is evident that whatever it was definitely moving, very slowly and it was not an aircraft that we are used to hear. There was also an older couple who own a bar a few feet from where we stopped who came out and said they had someone call the police and worker were being drilled by the operator. He was adamant that they knew something was going on and wanted to know who saw it. I hope someone steps forward and explains this, I've had no sleep and I can't stop searching the sky's for another one.

I was taking the dogs out one last time before bedtime, and I always look at the stars. Last night, I saw a very large array of blinking lights moving eastward. I'm thinking it had to be very large because it seemed far away and behind some clouds, and was still wide, I'm thinking maybe 100 feet or so. There were approximately 8 lights, and the color was a faded pink. The lights seemed to be in the shape of a boomerang, or a wide "v". It was going behind a cloud and was extremely hard to see. I called my husband out, but it had gone behind the clouds so much that he didn't see it. I had no time to grab a camera, as it had disappeared shortly after that. I am used to seeing airliners, Coast Guard helicopters, c130's, even the occasional blimp, and this sighting was nothing like that.

I went out my back door just a few minutes after eight pm on a Thursday night to investigate a noise to find it was only an intoxicated neighbor doing his usual "raising sand" routine, so I started back to my house regretting that I wasted my time to even look into the situation. As I turned the corner at the back of my house I encountered a "V" shaped pattern of large reddish lights entering the area above my neighbor's home to the side of me. This pattern was as large as a football field in length and was not too far above tree top level. I opened the back door and screamed for the wife to come outside immediately! She came running out holding her cell phone and we just stood there in awe as a formation of lights in a "V" shaped pattern came gliding slowly over the house next door. She exclaimed... This is the mother lode of all our encounters!" I replied... "No this is the mother ship!" These were not small light! s like on a regular aircraft but were quite large and I know there were five for sure very spaced out in between but can't say there were more as I was noticing it was going forward but coming sideways towards us slowly. It actually reminded me of a smaller version of the Phoenix, Arizona, lights even though it was huge enough in it's own dimensions. I told her to call her mother (who is that neighbor next door) and when the wife dialed her the phone lit up brightly and the airship then backed up from coming our way and continued sailing on by above the yard next door. Her mom and dad came to the door just to see the last light disappear into to adjacent woods. I only then at that particular point of the entire encounter heard a quiet motorized sound but never heard anything otherwise during the entire encounter. We never saw the ship clearly because my father in law installed a blinding LED type street light in his back yard that has totally destroyed the beauty of the night! sky we have been used to because he don't like the darkness being a cover for evil doers. The wife did not have time to snap a photo or video because by the time she dialed her mom and hung up it was backing off of coming our way and still sailing onwards entering into the wooded area. I just hugged the wife while watching this event which made it a super and knowing the partying neighbors were too stoned even know it went over their heads a few minutes before made it funny to ponder. We were not scared but in awe.

Western sky, from north Greensboro, seems to hover moving in any direction. Almost as if wind we're bobbing around. Seems to have red and color or lights, these come and go if spinning, still there as I write.

I was on my poarch looking at the stars. All of the sudden one of them starting moving. It moved and suddenly stopped. Then started moving again and faded into nothing. It looked just like a star at first.

My 2 friends were leaving my house around 9:00 pm, and when we went outside, a huge circular disk was hovering southwest, had no lights, followed by 3 jets in a triangular formation that seemed to be following it.
