Imlay City, MI
On July 12, 2014, at approximately 10:18 pm, my husband and I were traveling east and southbound on Cedar Rd/ M53 Imlay City 48444 just past the Imlay City Police Station. My husband said to me to look up. It was a bright shiny light like a helicopter but brighter and way, way faster. It appeared to be following the road we were on. As we continued watching an Imlay City officer put on his lights. We thought he had seen something and was informing the public. But he was pulling someone over. I am certain it is on his dash cam and we did report it to the police. We called but couldn’t get the officer to call us back or look! It did not appear to be anything either of us were familiar with such as helicopters or shooting stars. It diverted sharply in the distance to the left and then continued back on its past headed east. Also, there was absolutely no sound being emitted from the UFO> My husband worked as a civilian in a tank plant and is also familiar with jets, etc. This occurred so fast (in seconds) as we tried to catch up and keep our eyes on it, but couldn’t. The local news seemed disinterested so we reported it to you and I would like to put my sighting in writing.

Driving home on Westbound 69 and saw triangular shape above treeline. The object did not move like a normal aircraft would. Phones froze when we tried to take pictures (iPhone 5s). There were blue and red lights on the side as well as a large white light. When directly under the unidentified object, we noticed the object was large and hovering without any noise. The object remained in rear view mirror until we went around a curve.

I was camping at South Higgins Lake State Park with my family. Around 12:45am I noticed a bright orange light over the water that wasn’t there a moment ago. I went to the beach to go look at it with my Mom. When we got to the beach, we could see that the object was hovering in the air above the tree line. It appeared to be the same size and similar shape to a hot air ballon. The light was so bright and high in the sky that it had a reflection on the water. As we watched it, a second one appeared. They would hover, then combine into one glowing object, and then one would reappear again next to it. As we were watching, two other campers joined to stare at the orange fire balls. I did not know these campers. We stood there in awe for about 10 minutes as we watched these two balls of light fade in and re appear in the sky. Then the two lights sunk below the tree line and left a orange glow for about 30 seconds till the lights faded out. There is a military base near by, and there were about 5 to 8 boats on the water that night at 1am. Those boats were still on the water at 2am, when I finally decided to go to bed.

I went out to watch fireworks about 10:30 PM I saw an orange red object slowly coming from the north. I wondered what kind of plane it was because I had never saw a plane like that. When it got over me it went strait up and out of sight in a few seconds. I went in and told my wife that I thought I had just seen a UFO? I went back out and two more were coming from the same spot, I called my wife to come out but by the time she got there they were gone. As she started back in, a fourth one was coming from the same area and she also watched it disappear.

I was only out for a little while, when I spotted two distinct orange orbs coming from the southwest and traveling north at a quite a high rate of speed. The one nearest, which was still at a high altitude, was brighter. The other one appeared smaller, and was some distance back from the first one. I observed them for about 30 seconds, and then they were gone. July 25, (2014), I was about five minutes from home, when again, I saw some the same type of lights. I pulled into a parking lot, and counted 7 of them. They were at a fairly low altitude, coming out of the northwest heading southeast. I almost couldn’t believe what I was seeing. But there they were. So, I came home, went out in my backyard with my Brother, and they were still there, moving fairly slow. We counted about the 9 this time. The last one that appeared was bright red, then was orange. About that time, we an aircraft coming from North to South. It was probably at about 35,000 feet. It looked quite distant relative to the strange lights. After that I did a little research online, and saw similar accounts of the same type of lights. I would not make something like this up. I have nothing to gain from it. I just wanted to report it, and would like to know if there were any other accounts on the objects I saw. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD

In our field of vision of the sky from our front porch, it took 60-75 seconds for this low flying, quite large orange object to cross the landscape. In seemed very low, moving unnaturally slow, and was completely quiet. At first,we believed it was some kind of firework debris that was on fire and floating across the sky, but it couldn't be. It looked a brightish, flame orange and was roughly circular, but it did not have clear, easily discernable edges. It appeared almost illusory... Like seriously bad special effect. All witnesses are in complete shock. Not sure how this web site works, it was revealed in google search, but if any other witnesses saw this, I would be interested in discussing.

Red/Orange shaped orbs began flying northward, coming from the south. Objects made no noise while flying over, gradually began to pick up speed and altitude. I was outside smoking while i looked up to see the first orb flying about 500ft overhead when I looked farther south and saw another one coming to me, headed north. I hurry inside to get my father to witness the event. By the time we got back outside, 4 more of the strange circular orbs were nearing us. The circular balls of light were picking up speed very fast and also gradually moved higher in altitude.

During the fireworks display over Lake Oakland, My sister niece and nephew witnessed Numerous balls of red lights in the sky. All coming from east to west, but within a 10 to 15 mile radius of my house. Consistently red glowing not blinking. No sound moving in straight trajectories, in different directions. Craziest thing I've ever seen in my life. I have never been so excited before. Absolutely not stars planes helicopters or balloons. No sound whatsoever...absolutely amazing. There has to be other people who saw these things. counted over 20 plus. I recorded some with my cell phone but obviously those aren't great... with binoculars the lights were extremely intense with no variation. I know what we saw was not from here. One of the best nights of my life!

One very bright orange “jelly bean” shaped object was witnessed hovering low in sky near Oxbow Lake off of M-59 and Teggerdine Roads. Saw object in sky after leaving shopping plaza in my car, with one other passenger. We were unable to photograph while driving, and pulled over at the intersection of M-59 and Teggerdine Roads into the parking lot of a local CVS drugstore. The craft had since lifted much higher in sky and the orange color around it was gone. There were white, red, and either blue or green lights flashing from underneath the craft which had ascended high into the sky. The sky was clear, and fireworks being displayed all around the lake that night by homeowners had just begun. I did manage to get a video of the craft, but it is so high that it may not prove useful.

Was taking the trash out and we looked north and saw 3 white lights that were much larger than a star or planet, when we first noticed them they were in somewhat if a triangular formation just hovering in the same area but you could tell there was very slow movement, moving in a random pattern. There was no blinking like an aircraft and obviously not shooting stars since they were just hovering. Then as we watched one by one the lights slowly diminished until they were gone. I've been checking the news to see if there were any other reports but I haven't seen anything yet. But I noticed here several people saw strange lights the same night.

40 miles south of Detroit. was photographing fireworks to the west of my location when a orange light I took for another rocket arched up from the horizon. When it reached the altitude that it would have exploded at it did no do so. As I observed it progressed from W NW to SE, at about a 60 - 70 deg. angle from my vantage point, across the southern sky. When it reached a point approx. "half-way" between the western and eastern skies it turned due south and at which point I was viewing it from the rear, and continued on until it faded from view. The speed at which it covered the distance from the western horizon to the point of its turning south was about 40 seconds, which is why I thought it was perhaps a military jet on afterburner. However, that seemed odd as there was no sound, even after it had made the turn to the south. The other odd part was that a jet, which I assume had taken of from Detroit Metro, was heading south and made a slight heading alteration to the southwest so as to not cross the flight path of the object I was viewing. I DID hear the sound from the passenger jet, though it was faint. I would guess the altitude of the passenger jet at about 20,000 ft +/-, and that of the object to be quite a bit higher, maybe 30,000-35,000 ft. I did get photos of the object, but they show only an orange / yellow light. As this was coming to an end and I was thinking I had just seen some type of military aircraft, I was turning my attention back to the fireworks when to my amazement two more of the exact type of lights rose up from the western horizon, one directs behind the other, though separated by what I would estimate to be one to two miles, though in a straight line. I took several photos of these two objects, though they are not very detailed beyond showing orange/yellow lights, one trailing behind the other. Again, these two objects traveled from W NW to SE, at the same angle in the sky from my vantage point, and upon reaching the same "mid-way" point turned due south, and continued until out of range for me to see. I thought perhaps they were military aircraft that had taken part in some type of July 4th event, and were heading to the air national guard base in Toledo. However, as I am in the flight path for planes leaving Detroit Metro, and can watch the aircraft in-bo! und to Metro cross from West to NE along the western horizon from my property, I'm familiar with the headings aircraft generally take / use, either in-bound to Metro, or out-bound from Metro, as well as those heading from other points toward Toledo Express airport west of Toledo Ohio, about 30 miles to the Southwest. These objects did not use any flight path I've ever seen other aircraft take, nor did they appear to be on any heading I've ever seen other aircraft that over-fly Monroe take. Again, COMPLETE silence as these lights passed over head. As I watched the other two fade from sight, I turned back to the west to see if any more were forthcoming. As I did so a neighbor to the east put off a couple of fireworks which caught my attention. As I turned to watch the treeline to the east I noticed a fourth orange light traversing from the north to the south, within 25 deg. of being directly over-head, again, moving at high speed, as a jet on afterburner would, minus the noise. It made a slight course correction and proceeded to the same point the others had, and continued on until it faded from sight. After that, nothing. I've been doing photography since I was sixteen, I've photographed the craters on the moon, planes and stars at night, and just about everything else I can photograph. I've studied just about every plane type, and researched "ufos" enough to know that the vast majority are man made aircraft of one type or another, be they experimental, military, drones, satellites, etc. What I saw last night were not "space aliens". They were man made craft, of that I am certain. But, what type, I don't know. They were very fast and used some type of dampening system to mask the engine sound on afterburner. Where they were going in such a hurry and the fact that obviously other people have been seeing the same type of aircraft in this region and along the upper mid-west over the past couple of weeks is also interesting. The other thing is the fact that the passenger jet altered its heading so as not to intersect that of the first object I saw. That al! so tells me these objects were most likely some sort of military craft. my question would be, why all this activity in this region ?

At approximately 10:30 pm on Friday, July 4th, 2014, I stepped outside to watch my neighbor’s fireworks when I noticed a distinct orangy-red “star” in the east sky. The object appeared to be 2-3 times larger than a star or planet, with no discernable shape, and stayed stationary during the 25-30 seconds that I observed it. As I focused on the red object, I noticed a smaller, white object positioned at three o’clock to the red, presumably a star. The white object appeared constant and did not flicker as a star would. The white object than moved to a twelve o’clock position to the red, as if the red object was the pivot point. Once the white object stopped at twelve o’clock, it stayed visible for about 2-3 seconds and then abruptly vanished. The red star stayed visible for five seconds and then appeared to fade in a way that I would describe as waves rippling on water. I stood for 2-3 minutes hoping it would reappear but no luck. Due to the number of large, ma! ture trees in my neighborhood I couldn’t tell if there were more objects or if the object(s) reappeared in a different part of the sky. My location is in northwest Livonia near Seven Mile Road & Newburg. There were quite a few local fireworks and maybe the objects I saw were somehow related to the Fourth of July festivities. I wasn’t even going to mention this until I saw similar reports on the same night in southeastern Michigan.

I was watching fireworks out of my window, and I noticed what appeared to be an orange light above me, to the SSW. I stared at it, to make sure it wasn't another firework, or flying vehicle, but it never blinked or moved. It flickered, like a star, but it was much bigger than any star or planet in the night sky. It looked round, and orange, probably 10 times larger than any stars in the sky. After about a minute and a half, it slowly faded out, and disappeared.

As I went out in to my driveway, I looked up to see some fireworks going off when I saw an Orange light just hanging there. I thought at first it was a firework, due to its firey orange color, that had reached its peak height and was ready to explode. Instead of explode though I noticed it was moving south, towards me, at a slow pace maybe 30-40mph. After I realized it was flying I watched it for a minute then ran in and grabbed my video camera and got the wife. As we watched it fly overhead and right past us the orange glow just faded out. At that time we both looked back north and noticed another one coming. This one did the exact same thing. It flew south then slowly faded out. This happened two more times. These objects seemed to be following each other at a distance. One every 2-3 mins apart. The great thing about the night of the 4th was that it was a clear night and even after the lights faded we should have still been able to see the shape of the objects due to the fact the sky was so clear and we could see the stars. I'm not sure what they were but as I said the were a bright firey orange color and were roughly 2000 feet high and completely silent. They didn't make a sound! I see and hear planes go over all the time since I live about 5 miles S.E. from DTW. These were NOT planes and were not on the flight route of the planes that land or take off. These objects looked as if they were following Inkster rd due south and veered east over Lake Erie. I found these same objects on youtube when I typed in UFO's of July 4th. As far as my video went. The video quality was terrible. Trying to record and object like that at night is harder then I thought it would be. I'm not a UFO nut I and my wife work for GM and have no history of seeing things and can explain almost all of what I see in the skys. This night however I saw 4 Bright Orange Lights flying overhead at a somewhat low altitude and did not see any type of body to these crafts against the backround of a Very Clear Sky. These lights simply faded out as they flew over and were gone! I cannot explain this or tell anyone what it was I saw other then orange lights.

To whom this may concern: My wife & I saw a fiery orange ball moving north up the Lake Huron shore line 07/04/2014 @ Approximate 2130 Hrs., my guess to how high is about three miles. This incident lasted about five minutes till the distance of object reached it’s vanishing point. This is not my first time seeing strange phenomena in North America. Good luck with the info... We were in my back yard which is a rectangle and the rear behind the house faces north. We were just waiting for dark to light off fireworks when someone noticed a red-ish/orange-ish ball of light. The first time I saw it, it was in the southeast sky moving rapidly northeast. It had a height of maybe 10 to 15 thousand feet off the ground. Comparing this to a balloon or parachute, there is no way to move a balloon or parachute that fast. The second time I saw it, the sky was still light yet and it was as if the ball of light appeared from nowhere then moved from north to south at a very high speed. I quickly ran into the house and got my binoculars and when I ran back out it was gone. Finally, the third time I saw one was Saturday night while having a campfire in the middle of the night. About 1 or 2 am on the 5th of July. I saw it come from the north off in the distance very far away. It moved very fast towards us and disappeared behind the trees in a duration of about 2 to 3 minutes. No blinking lights, one luminous color only. This is not known military or civilian. Parachutes and balloons cannot move like that and go that fast. One of us (not myself) is an honorably discharged marine who served in Afghanistan recently.

4 Stars in a square formation with a large white circular object that was much bigger than a planet. The circular object seemed to move south, then it changed direction. It apparently started to stop and then started to gain altitude. It quickly receded from view. It would be important to note that the stars are noted for refrence. This object moved faster than any sattelite and was very abrupt in direction changes.

The object was large, glowed orange, and was a good distance away in the sky. It immediately caught my attention because aircraft do not use orange lights. There was no distinguishable shape from my vantage point. It sat in the same location for a couple of minutes and then slowly moved west until I could not see it anymore. It was very evident to my wife as well. It was NOT a Chinese lantern. This is the 3rd time I have seen a UFO in the last month. On 2 successive nights I saw a distant glowing, pulsating object due south from the rear window of my home which would put it somewhere near the border of Michigan/Ohio.

After this, being totally amazed by what we saw two more bright lights the same color e going in the same direction came zooming by doing the same thing and after about a minute after that one more zoomed by going in the same direction. A week later during the 4th of July, we were watching the fire works at the same time of night and saw the same thing but this time there was only two and it seemed that people were trying to set off fire works to blow them off close to them. I talked to other people that said that saw the exact same thing at or around the same region. About ten days later me and a different person saw the same peach colored light zoom across the sky but going in a north eastern direction. A total of about ten witnesses.
