I was working at the time of the occurrence, around 4:30am. I was delivering papers when I saw this disk object come my way. My sister and I parked over and got out of the car to take a look. It was about 150 feet above our heads. It was a dark disk, that emitted white, orange and red lights. It traveled very slow, almost as if it was hovering to gaze below. As soon as it crossed a tree and we had no visual anymore, so we moved to try to look at it again find. Literally 5 seconds later, it was gone. Almost as if it vanished. Shortly after, we saw a black helicopter travel the same way. It didn't make any sound as it past us. It only emitted white beams of light. At the time we noticed car alarms were flashing. Almost as if this disk set it off. We never saw them again that night.

A neighbor and I were sitting around his fire pit when six bright amber/orange orbs streaked past in the clear, about 57 degree, night sky (you had to wear a sweater and could clearly see stars). Three orbs crossing from the south, to the north at an extremely high rate of speed. The first one passed over and caught our attention, then within an approx. 15 second window the second one shot by following the same path of the first orb then, within the same time element the third one streaked past following the previous two. They were so high and moved extremely fast, that we could not tell if they were pulsating very rapidly, or if what seemed to be pulsing was an optical illusion. Then, there was what seemed to be a five to ten minute pause in the action and the fourth one came streaking into vision and appeared to veer to the west one to five degrees from the first thee (moving so fast that we could not tell how the change in direction occurred). Once again, a brief pause and the fifth and sixth ones appeared, each veering the one to five degrees from each other. Ironically, minutes before the fifth and sixth orb streaked by, a commercial or cargo type airplane, high in the sky passed overhead from the west to the east (could barely see the port and starboard lights flashing and was a good point of reference as to if the orbs were pulsing). Our point of reference for the headings was the tree line directly behind our homes that face from south (front) to north (backyard and fire pit). From our position of viewing, the orbs appeared to be the approx. size of a quarter.

I was taking my dog out for a walk and I noticed about 5 really bright orange lights moving accross the sky in an east southeast direction. They were silent. The lights were brighter than any plane I've seen in the sky. Then the lights just faded quickly away in a random order.

A family member and I we're returning home and, noticed there was a bright red (very red) light in the sky. The light was hovering over a neighbors yard, it was big enough to be seen and, super bright! I pulled into my drive way and,told them to stay in the car, I am going to get the camera! I opened my car door turned around and, looked at the light and, it it disappeared!! It disappeared so quick that I have no idea what direction or where it went. I could tell it looked as if it was a small object, but the light was so bright that it was hard to make out shape! On July 13th, 2014, I took my dog outside for him to do his business, while waiting for him I was looking at the big dipper and saw a red object appeared from the west sky. It was moving at a steady pace heading in an easterly direction. It got larger as it passed much like the space station would (witch I’ve seen many time’s) and vanished as the space station would. The object was an orange red color with yellow around the outside of it. After the object passed a second object the same as the first appeared from the west a little further north of the first and traveling in the same manor. Both object’s made no noise of any kind, I could hear the sound of an airplane traveling northbound due west leaving O’Hare airport, but that was the only sound I could hear. Both object ’s took about 10 to 12 second’s each from the time I seen them to pass over head. I’ve lived in my house since 1987 just north of O’Hare airport and know the difference between an airplane, Helicopters, and the space station going over our home. I have never seen anything like this in my 58 years on this earth.

We were laughing and talking about the memories of our deceased friend on the front porch, on a some what cloudy day. The sun had not officially been set, so it was still some what daylight outside. When there was a large moving shadow block the little light we was receiving from the sun it became instantly dark and you can hear the sound of something like a loud generator. The sudden change in light made everyone look up and we all witnessed colorful lights glowing red, blue, then green. It was like what ever it was it was on the other side of the clouds we couldn’t see exactly what it was but there was this generator sound. I was in shock when I was able to pull myself together I reached for my phone to record as it hovered over our heads then it sped off with the sound of like a jet and took the shadow with it and there was light again but immediately the lights of the homes of the residential block including street lights flickered then power was gone then restored minutes later on their own… I made a post on Facebook about my sighting at that moment. but never mentioned it again but I always think about that day

Orange colored sphere traveling from west to south east. Light from object was 3-4 times brighter than a satellite and had a long pulse to it. No sound as it passed almost over head at the speed of a normal airplane.

at first we noticed 5 red glowing lights north of us coming from the west. we calmly observed these objects as a total of 8 emerged. These objects are not man made due to their movements and color. Silent, no noise heard from the eight, red, glowing circles. the objects/ufo's are identical in description in the ufo's witnessed in phoenix az. the objects we witness did not hover in one spot but rather moved around amoungst each other, as they flew dead from the west and shortly as we took notice of them, they changed course, continuing now north as if avoiding chicago international (ORD), and executive (pwk) airports. Heading from my grandparents house in Johnsburg out on to chapel hill road near the Johnsburg Bank. As my friend pulled up to the stop sign I noticed, what appeared to be, a flying fireball. It moved very slowly over the tree line. I pointed it out to everyone in the car and no one could identify it. We pulled away before it moved out of view. It resembled a craft that we, as group, had seen before that flew over my grandparents house the weekend before. (I will file another report on that incident)

There was an amber/reddish spherical craft spotted moving at a high rate of speed going north and then making a hard left turn and headed west and then vanished. 4 unidentified red lights flew in a form of a triangle. Two of them they seemed to take off at a very fast rate & just disappeared. Then 2 reappeared in a different areas of the sky. It only lasted about 15 min when they took off again & did not reappear.

We (my husband and I) were laying outside watching the sky. We saw two circular shaped objects following each other coming from the south-east moving north-west. They glowing red, with no other visible lights and not flashing. There was no sound. Then they just disappeared. The time is approximate, we were not looking at our watches, we were watching the sky.

Four diamond shaped orangish yellowish lights moved in a diamond like formation from the East towards the Northwest. Slow moving at first then quicker raising higher into the sky until they started to disappear one at a time starting with the trailing light through the lead light. They never left there formation.

Traveling from the northeast, these objects were red and orange, rather small, one right after the other, but not directly behind each other. I saw one hover over head. But no noise whatsoever. Then, when they reached a certain point, they went upward and disappeared quickly.

My wife and I were driving East down 151st street and made a left turn on Harlem Ave heading North. When we were approaching 135th street we start noticing objects in the sky in groups of 2 spaced far apart heading west across Harlem. We counted approximately 14 objects by the time we got to 79th street. We had no longer seen any more after 79th street and continued going north until we got home. They were either egg shaped or cylindrical shaped and were very high in altitude to get an accurate description. There appeared to be a color on the top and bottom of the object.

On July 4, 2014, I was with my girlfriend in my backyard, sitting on the bench, watching the neighborhood fireworks. I turned to my left and saw a round, glowing, orange/red object in the sky. It was west of us, and low enough to the ground that I could make out the shape, but still far enough away that much detail was yet to be seen. I immediately begin to think of what it could be, but the shape, color, and behavior was nothing I have ever seen on any flying object that I witnessed. The object began to pulsate more rapidly and moving at a high rate of speed, faster than any plane I have witnessed. The object began to move south, and suddenly it stopped in mid air for a good half a minute or so. Suddenly, it began to speed away, going southwest, and disappearing within a few seconds. I could not believe what I just saw; I am a paranormal investigator with a background in Sociology, and consider myself open minded but very skeptical. I have read about alien ! and UFO encounters, but never witnessed anything of the sort, so I always wondered about the legitimacy of such claims. But after tonight, I am a bit more a believer, especially after digging online and finding that reports of UFO encounters in Chicago around the 4th of July are anything but uncommon. It helps too that my old neighbors down the street saw the same object last year!

After the towns fire works my wife and friends where waiting for the croud to clear and my friend noticed a red ball in the distance traveling from the east to south west. It was moving slow and seemed to stay still for about 30 sec then moved again in the same direction and then just went out! And then we noticed another one from the same direction moving more west and like the first one just went out. After that my wife and I went to a gas station and on our way back home we seen another one this was much lower than the other 2 and was above our town I was on a bridge and was driving so I couldn't keep an eye on it. It was also moving east to west. This all occured in about 30 mins of each other. I've never seen anything like this all 3 where a reddish color and did not flash or flicker and no sound! Thank you!

1 sideways egg shape bright green and bright red. Object hovered in one spot in west sky 5 minutes (during fireworks show finale in north sky). Finale ending, object darted south and slightly east then hovered again only to disappear 2 minutes later into night sky. Observers were company vice president and family, and a couple, and a family, next to us on blankets watching fireworks. Object diverted many people's attention away from fireworks finale, which is always the best part. The way it hovered without sound or movement, then purposefully darted away , was way too fast for a plane or helicopter. All were stunned. Can't believe WE saw this in person or wouldnt believe it.

Observed to the South/Southwest from Downtown Hinsdale 3 orange circles flying in a triangle formation that maintained formation. Lower left burned out/disappeared first, then upper circle. Lower Right circle maintained speed and disappeared. Moments later, 2 more orange dots appear to the South maintaining speed and formation. Disappeared 3 minutes later. 45 seconds-1 minute later a signle circle appeared straight south. Lost sight due to incident report for occupation. Observed objects/lights were observed with surrounding aircraft (Midway airport near by)but did not show signs of flashing/blinking lights normally found on commercial aircraft wings.
