I was sitting on my door step talking on my cell phone to my friend. Looking straight across the street and above the houses, I saw a red and green light glide slowly to the right, slowly to the left, then returned to the middle and slowly lowered down. The craft disappeared behind the house in front of me. I stood up and ran as fast as I could across the street and it disappeared. There is no way that a plane or helicopter could have moved like that. It was perfectly gliding across the sky! I was pretty terrified.

We saw 10 to 20 maybe even 30 red/orange shapes flying very slowly and together from Southwest to Northeast in the sky. Last few were somewhat stragglers, one of us saw triangle shape another saw roundish shape.

A very bright light like a star moving North West over Lake Michigan. Lasted about 30 seconds and totally disappeared. No sound.

As my husband and I were driving home and we pulled into our neighborhood in Belvidere, IL around 8:20pm on Sat, 8/30/14, we noticed 3 orange lights in the sky. We initially thought they might be airplanes or helicopters which were reflecting light from the setting sun, but they seemed to be too close together. They were maybe a few miles away to the northeast. We watched them for at least 30 seconds, and then they simply disappeared. We pulled into our driveway, got out of are car and stood there for a minute looking for them, and they were gone. So our theory of an aircraft seemed out of the question.

The new bright star thought to be a plane stayed in place. I pointed my flashlight at i ( like that would do anything) then it looked like a dot within a circle, glowed brighter, then disappeared, as if a lightbulb glowed brightly then went out! Or, if possible, like a sci-fi movie, it was a wormhole that closed or a star that exploded and vanished! It may have looked like a fossile fuel ship flew straight away and got smaller as the distance grew. This sighting was in the west end of the sky with Ursa Major located west/northwest. While my boyfriend and I were outside on our back deck, he pointed behind me and said, "what is that?". I look over and I see a bright white, circular, light. It was moving faster than a jet and it wasn't leaving a chemical trail. I asked him if he could hear any sound, because I couldn't, and he agreed he could not either. On further inspection we did see four small flashing lights around the one bright light. Almost like the flashing lights on the wings of planes. As I say, it was moving faster than a jet, so it could not have been a plane, and the light was extremely bright. It came out of the east and disappeared into the clouds to the west of us.

While facing southern night sky a blue neon fireball passed by, from east going west. I was able to observed it for 10 seconds in clear view before trees and homes obstructed view. 60+ feet above ground.

I saw a blue-green comet-like fireball while I was driving from DeKalb toward Aurora on I-88. I believe it was either a meteor fire ball or a large bottle rocket, but I'm not sure. There were 2 firework shows nearby, one near Kaneville and near St. Charles. The fireball doesn't look like any firework I've ever seen and it was moving toward Kaneville, not away, so probably not from that firework show. The fireball was red-orange inside, like a flame and moved from North East to South West. My mom was in the car with me but did not see it since she was looking a different direction.

Four females driving south witnessed a orange light in the eastern sky. Upon driving six miles the orange light, now in the south changed to red. Upon turning the car north and driving into wooded road the red object changed white and was pulsating large orb to small orb. It continued to hover over our vehicle as we drove from north to east. Approximately two football fields away. Upon stopping the car at a clearing to take a picture, the object split from one large white orb into two equal but separate orbs and blinked out into darkness.

August 9, 2014, 02:30 CST In Chicago, IL over southern Lake Michigan one other witness and I saw a ball of non-consuming flame out over the lake under what we could only describe as controlled flight. It manoeuvered like nothing we'd seen before, hugging the horizon headed north until it stopped, apparently turned, and flew straight up what must have been at least 2000 feet. Then it stopped again and appeared to dance around in the sky, just like those chinese lanterns.. . . . . but Chinese lanterns don't suddenly turn into a rotating trianglular formation. The one object suddenly split into three and the new triangle of objects slowly spun around a share axis and recombined into one again. That was a fancy lantern! Then it flew toward us at moderate speed straight overhead, and looked to the other witness like a "burning butterfly" in a "non-consuming flame." I admit I didn't see it so closely as to cite any "flapping," to me it appeared to billow, and puff like something fully engulfed in flame. I lost track of the object for a moment while moving to another room, trying to get a better view, but when I regained the object directly overhead, it was hurtling skyward at unbelievable speed..like I've never seen. Even in movies.

As I drove off I-355, I noticed a blue and red steady light in the sky going pretty fast forward then backwards. I turned around to check it out and took a video. In the video the lights turn off and then on and zips around in every direction. While taking a second video, I was watching my screen when I couldn't find it, I looked out of my windshield to find it hovering in one spot, facing me and then flashed its lights. I saw three red dots in the form of a triangle on the bottom and blue around the outside. I was so physically shaken, I had to leave. Never saw anything like this before.

I went to the living room to close the blinds and noticed a single star. I thought it was a bit bright considering there were no other stars in the sky due to the thick cloud/chemtrail cover. I watched the "star" for a few seconds and it began to slowly move South-Eastish from its location. As it was moving, another dimly lit 'star' appeared and remained stationary. The first "star" kept moving in a SE direction and the second star faded in and out. After about 30 seconds of movement from the first star, it simply disappeared, no flashing lights or anything. It was simply a "star" moving, and then gone. The second star completely dimmed out after the first one faded away. I hope this helps, it was a strange sight and I see quite a few of them up here at night, usually from 1am to 4 am. I'll update you again with the next one.

My partner and I were out on our patio sitting enjoying the evening as the sun was going down, it was around 8PM and I was smoking a cigar and he was on his iPad. I was looking at some of the wispy clouds turning purplish above us, when I noticed a ball of light approaching below cloud level, around the same height as a helicopter. It was quiet and as it approached, I noticed it sort of shimmered orangish-yellow. It was passing directly over us, and I told my partner, "Look at that, what is that?" He thought it was plane or helicopter at first, but it made no sound and was just a ball of glowing light. "I have no clue, but look over there, there's another one." Just approaching over us was an identical shaped glowing ball of light, not very far behind the first one. They were moving very slowly, almost like they were getting slower and slower the nearer to us they got. We then saw a third appear, all three lights were in a row, almost equal! distance from each other, looking completely the same. The lights weren't pulsing, more like glowing or pulsating, between orangish and a golden yellow. I got up and followed the three lights to the end of the yard, where they became obscured by trees. I tried to find them again but didn't see them anymore. The whole event took less than 10 minutes.

Saw a strange plane or a new model of plane flew over my house accompanied by a black helicopter flying low. They flew towards southeast. Sound of helicopter overbearing any other sounds. Helicopter tailed white plane with strange wings towards the front and back of vehicle. No appearance of propellers visible. 6 bright lighted objects flying low and over DuPage County yesterday evening. Not proper lighting to be a plane and too low, no sound to be a helicopter and we thought it could be the personal hobby droids that can be purchased but too high for that. Baffled. Lights flickered and were blue, red and green. They would slowly paced and would circulate for a few minutes and then disappear. Nothing more, nothing less. Just curious if anyone else saw this as can't find anything else about it.
