While camping in the Cottonwood canyon Rd., along the gas line rd., I awoke to my dog growling and staring north. I looked to see what he was staring at and seen 2 floating spheres that looked metallic. It was as though these things were watching me. I reached for my phone to get a pic, never taking my eyes off of them. It was approximately 21:53, (9:53 pm), then they abruptly reversed toward the north at incredible speed, made a sharp turn on a dime and sped away to the east toward reymert, just south of the 60, towards superior. They illuminated bright red upon turning north, one over the top of the other, and 25 to 30 ft. above the ground, hauling ass at unbelievable speed. There was no sound at all. Whatever they were, they were not of this world. I believe these things were probes of some kind. Just my belief. I'm camping out for awhile hoping they come back.

It was not craft, but a swarm of undulating blinking lights in a ribbon like formation, almost straight overhead, heading in a east to west direction. They were multi colored, blinking on and off, thousands of them. There were three of us in my backyard, and 7 neighbors reported the phenomena on our neighborhood Facebook page. I was able to get some grainy video on my smartphone. It was an incredible site, I thought I must be dreaming, so I slapped my own face, but it was real. They looked to be about 25,000 feet up, as that was the lowest cloud cover at the time, and they were above that. Please tell me where to submit video. Thank you. Witness followed up to state that the objects were helium-filled balloons with flashing LED lights, which had been released at a church celebration. PD

I was out in my back yard doing yard work at about 11:30am on 12/18/16. A reflection from the west at approximately 5-10 thousand feet (only an estimate, of course) caught my attention. When I focused on it, I could see that there was something that was metallic and rotating clockwise in a slow, stable, and consistent manner. It gave the impression of being something heavy (not a balloon), if that makes sense. There was no noise at all. We got a lot of military and commercial air traffic over this location: helicopters and all manner of planes. We even saw the Goodyear blimp from this location several times while we lived there, but this sighting was unique. I had my phone and tried to take a picture, but the object was too high up for me to get a good shot. I ran inside and got my SLR camera (Nikon D60), quickly changed lenses to my telephoto lens, and ran back outside, thinking that the object might be gone by this point. It was still there, so I started taking pictures. The object appeared and then disappeared from my view based upon how it was reflecting the sunlight. Since it seemed to be several miles away, I had a hard time focusing my camera on it, but I was able to get quite a few good shots. The object’s appearance changed many times while I was taking pictures. It was very confusing, to be honest. I’ve never seen anything like it. Finally, it appeared to change shapes into something that looked like a small, white plane that circled the area where the sighting occurred. Finally, that “plane” flew off to the north and seemed to morph into a larger white plane that headed east along a typical (for that area) commercial flight line.

At 5:35 am on 12/14/16 while I was out with my dog in my back yard I noticed three blinking lights in order (left to right) just hovering about 45 degrees up in the dark southwest sky. I noticed a quiet metal pinging sound, like a small hammer hitting metal, but there was no other sounds. I ran inside to get my mother and she came out to look at the lights, we remained outside for about 5 minutes just watching the hovering lights. We went back inside and I yelled for my teenage son to come look but by the time we returned outside the lights and sound were gone.

I took a picture in the SSW sky of a beautiful cloud formation and noticed two days later that there was a small round object in the picture. When it was enlarged, the detail was very clear. It had 8 equally spaced dots on the periphery and 4 lighted dots in the interior of the circle. It appeared to be hovering. We suspect Venus, or a lens flare. PD

At the stated date and time, I noticed a brilliant cloud formation that caught my eye. I stopped and gazed up to the SSW and took a picture of the angelic cloud shapes. Two days later, I looked at my phone camera pictures and noticed a small round object in the sky on this shot. I enlarged it and was astonished as the detail and amazing symmetry. I am most interested in finding out what are the possibilities. We have requested permission to view the photo, but have not yet received a copy of the image. PD

On December 10th, 2016, at approx. 18:45 hrs., a co-worker and I working at a secure site approx. 3 miles north of Kayenta, AZ, Noticed a series of parallel, pulsating lights in columns covering the entire horizon headed northeast toward Monument Valley, UT. The objects disappeared and then a gigantic disk shaped object rimmed with spinning lights appeared where the previous lights disappeared, also moving slowly in the same direction. The size of the object covered approx. 1/2 of the horizon and did not change size as it moved behind the mountain in the distance. Pre-paid Verizon mobile phone camera not powerful enough to capture anything but a bright planet. I drew pictures of the site and the craft on a piece of notepad paper. No cloud cover, clear sky, just after sunset. While sitting in my patrol vehicle at the secure site, my coworker exclaimed suddenly to turn out my lights and look behind me. I noticed the strange pulsating lights moving in an apparent formation to the north. We both exited our vehicles to watch the lights. They appeared to cover the entire horizon moving in alternating patterns. After approx. 3 minutes they all disappeared and at this time we noticed that new lights began to light up, one after another and begin to "spin" rapidly. Each individual light had a trail behind it, and was a blue flame color. As all of the spinning lights were lit a large "disc" shaped object became apparent. The lights all moved to the left, then right, then from the left side and right side to the center, then left and right again, in apparent patterns. The "disc" was so immense in scale I can only compare it to the ridiculous size of the craft in the movie independence day. We both realized its size because it ! took up approx. 1/2 of the horizon and its size did not change as it moved behind the mountain (mesa?). The entire event lasted approx. 10 minutes. At 18:52 I text messaged my mother to create a time stamp about halfway through the sighting. I have never seen a UFO, though I have seen recordings on the news and internet from time to time, etc. As I write this, almost 24 hours later, I am still shocked. I was an Uber-Skeptic... Reply by email and I can send illustrations if desired, and coordinates of my location at the time.

We were in the Arizona desert when taken a picture of the sky with the moon in it. Later that day I zoomed into the picture to see if I could see the moon. And I found something else. From 2015 - 2017 I was in Sahuarita, Az, 20 miles south of Tucson. I was staying at a friend's ranch which backs up to the Santa Rita Mountains and some of the last 'open range' left in America. The government has so much land there they literally let people graze cattle or do whatever they want on the land. I was recovering from an assault with a baseball bat, struck to head several times and spent three years in rehab therapy. Coming from LA, I had never seen nighttime skies like that. The nearest town, Sahuarita, was 10 miles away and has a light pollution ban on any white lights, so when the magnificent sunsets were over, you were left with a sky that looked like a planetarium. My eyes were hyper sensitive to light following the assault, and I couldn't watch television or any synthetic light of any kind. So I would sit on the porch or stand out in the open corral and stair up the stars, usually meditating and praying my brain would eventually recover. One night, I was standing out in the corral, and I noticed a light, what I thought was a meteor or falling star streak across the nighttime sky. It was common place to witness 'shooting stars' as frequently as every few minutes. However this one straked across the sky from the south west across/ above the Santa Ritas and when I assumed it would disappear as they always had, the light stopped, remained in the air, got brighter white, then dimmed, then turned red, moved across the sky to my east. It stopped again, then went what looked to me as up, stopped again and began flashing green, red, and back to white. Over the next few minutes it continued to hover, move as fast as if I had a laser pointer, then stop again. I went from thinking my brain was hallucinating to having a reaction to my meds, to accepting this was real. I went back to the ranch house and called for my friend to come out and look at this. She reluctantly came out and when I pointed to the light she said, "Oh yeah, you're just seeing this? I guess your head was pretty messed up!" I looked at her dumbfounded, was this happening? She went on to say, that's nothing, when she was living on a ranch years ago, she actually saw one land while on a late night ride through the desert. My friend is a Champion Barrel Racer and works as a Science Teacher for 'at risk' high school students. She is one of the smartest people I know and has an advanced degree in Animal Science from U of A. Not someone who fell off the apple cart. My eyes were so sensitive to light that I began to see other strange lights, sometimes several at once (the most I remember seeing was a group of 8). One of the first things I did when my eyes began to accept synthetic light from screens was to download a Skytracker app so I could identify what I was looking at. I was able to instantly identify each star I pointed at and even satellites. For months, I would go out when my alert for the Space Station would pass by. But every time I saw one of these lights, the app showed black space on the screen. My friend's marathon running partner is a top operational engineer over-seeing top secret programs at Raytheon. I asked her if they did test flights over the area. She told me officially Raytheon in Tucson deals with guidance systems and does not engage with the Airforce base there, nor to they do any aerial testing themselves. Unofficially she said, we are a multi-billion dollar defense company, which means we make a lot of stuff. Expensive stuff with cutting edge 'new' technology. And that technology needs to be tested in real world scenarios. She finished by saying, there's a reason we're in the desert and not in some city like LA. And there's a reason the Airforce is here and has a secret ops division. So you're smart, I'll let you figure the rest out for yourself. When I described what I saw, she said 'theoretically, if we had a project that required aerial testing, I would know about it as it falls under my team. But right now, we are in development phase so there is n! o testing going on. What you saw most likely wasn't ours." I asked her later about it more, maybe 6 months later and as I had gotten to know her better, she opened up one night a bit more. She basically said there's a lot of stuff that goes on that people are unaware of. Since most people don't just stare up at the sky for hours they are unaware of what goes on. Whatever the light was, I continued to see more until eventually I became bored with seeing strange lights. I would say the longest I went without seeing strange lights was two weeks. I completely believe most of what I saw was military, but as my for lack of better words, my spiritual psychic side definitely became more aware after the brain injury and I began to have a feeling or 'vibe' about what I was seeing. There was a certain sense when I would see what I 'felt' was man-made. Most of what I witnessed had that vibe. But on at least 10 other occasions, what I saw had a different vibe all together and felt very foreign or strange. Sorry for the long story, I'm sure it could be shorter but my writing is still not great after the injury. I don't think I'm unique in seeing this. The local ranchers I met and talked to all seemed to accept that strange lights would and have appeared over the Santa Ritas going back as far as anyone could remember. One old man told me since he was a kid and far before we developed drones. Anyway, thought I'd share. I am back in LA now having mostly recovered, but I would think the lights haven't stopped and anyone wishing to watch them only needs to drive out past the town of Sahuarita 10 or 15 miles and you will see them too. Direction; South west to North east I'd say crossing the I17 between Dunlap (SW) and cactus(NE). A slight swaying motion was observed as well as one solid blue/white light. I was going to the patio, opened the door, looked up and before my foot touched concrete, i watched it fly over top and disappear in a fraction of a second. just like lord helmet in Space Balls said, ludicrous speed.

While sitting outside our home, we noticed a one very bright red flashing light that appeared to be moving in small increments in different directions. After approximately 20 minutes, the brightness of the object gradually waned to merely another light, similar to a "star" in the sky. Moments later, it literally disappeared. I am aware of different conditions that can seem odd to the casual observer, such as a jet airplane that may be cruising at high altitude after sunset and the Sun's rays reflecting off the airliner's skin and appearing to be a bright red fast moving object. I have been around airports and airplanes for most of life and have seen many aerial objects in combat areas, so I know something odd when I see it. I sincerely believe that I witnessed a UFO above the Mesa/Apache Junction/Queen Creek, Arizona area. Thank you.

On 11/10/2016 at approximately 22:37 hours, I was on a high look out point near a mountain, 15 miles north of Benson, AZ, (south east of Tucson, AZ) looking at stars, the moon and other objects in the sky with high powered telescope. When we decided to take a break to eat from viewing, we sat down and were looking to the North East sky. After about 5 or so minutes, we saw a single bright above average size light in the sky, the light was changing from white, to a reddish, to amber color. It was a continuous light, but its light source seemed unstable. ( kinda flickering) As I was looking at this, I said to girl with me, while she was in mid sentence, What is that? I thinks a UFO. She started to discredit me, but as soon as she looked at it, she went dead silent and just watched. The one light almost grew and then separated into five separate lights close together and all of the same color and unstable. These 5 lights stayed in a line the whole time and didn't ascend or descend (they never moved from their position in the sky). After about 30 seconds of this, the lights started to chase each other like Christmas lights do. first it chased forward 3 times and backward 3 times. Then stopped and then one by one each light when out and never comeback on again. The sky was 100% clear, we both looked at each other and both agreed it was unusual. After the sighting 2 odd things happened... all noise in the area crickets, coyotes, desert frogs (we were near a small river) and anything else stopped making noise and her and I both had a very uneasy feeling set in, almost felt liking being watched. Once that feeling set in, we cut our night short and left to go home. While looking on this website, I noticed several sightings in the phoenix/glendale area and another area south of phoenix with many sightings in the past 3 weeks. several of those sightings I read seemed similar to my event

At 8pm, over east valley of Phoenix Arizona near the Wrigley Mansion - East Lincoln by the foothills before 32nd - 2 very swift moving identical planes/jets (dark out but assuming identical due to exact marker light placement on both) in tight formation following what can only be described as what looked like a star in the sky, a small point of light. Even so, this was very close to the ground and low flying, so whatever the 2 planes were following was extremely small with no identifying features - just like a fast moving star. Chase planes kept in formation as they went into a valley and over a hill and one of the planes started flashing a red beacon while the other did not. The dot of light they were following remained the same, appearing to slightly fade out at one point but then brighten again. Currently watching for any reports to see if anybody else saw this!

Mother ship released 4 small lights. Then they disappeared. The color of the was like red orange. Well this is happening four helicopters fly over us like if there were distracting us from the ufos. We attempted to telephone the source of the report, but were unsuccessful in reaching him. Possible hoax?? PD

Gila Bend (west of; on I-8), AZ
We were traveling East on I-8 from San Diego. About 10-15 miles West of Gila, around mile maker 80, I noticed a light in the field following us. It kept the same speed as our car. I thought it might be a helicopter spotlight, but there wasn't any. Then I thought maybe the truck in front of us was shining a flashlight, so I passed the truck. The light continued to follow us. All 3 in the car saw it. It continued until I almost reached Gila Bend and then disappeared. We never saw the source of the light, just the ground illuminated .

Bright orange circular lights with flashing green and red light markers left and right of orb. Proceeded north to south over 67 avenue, then proceeded west towards Luke Air Force base. Could have been ospreys on training mission?? Twice, there we're rotary (helicopter) moving perpendicular to the formation of lights once when north of 101 freeway again when lights were well westward of my position at 67 avenue and union hills in Glendale.
