Kept my eye on it for about 5 minutes and it didn't move. Reached a higher peek and noticed there was another light that looked the same behind it. We could see white, green, yellow lights. It moved as if it was scanning. It was very still for a minute then did some moving to the right then in altitude then lower, after a couple more minutes it went even further in altitude til we could no longer see it.

Looking closer I saw that it was disc shaped. Silver shine on top and shadowed bottom. Went in a straight line. I lost it in trees for a second. Then it continued north across the sky. Then it disappeared without obstruction or sound. I see planes all the time, having an airport close by but I can here them as well.

The sky warped and something like energy. Directed me to drive back and forth as if trying to tell me something. Pointed to the sun and then the moon. (It was a rare day when both were visible. Since then, this and or other entities (energy) have been with me 24 hrs a day. It takes my memory and has been hard for me to report. It is not visible so i cannot prove it to another. It/they causes me nightmarish dreams, directs my will, and has even hurt me. It uses known television characters as examples but has never able to clearly talk to me it has enhance music but many times is hard to listen to. Time is altered and it is hard to make sense of what to do. It also does nice things but the majority of the time it’s painful. I am fearful it will hurt me or others so please contact me privately.

Isn't a planet because of the shape and spires and time of night and year. Not a plane because it doesn't move, and there are no airplane routes over Bandon going east to west. We had friends over for dinner tonight. When one of our friends went to take their son home next door he saw an orange glowing light moving in the sky and called us all out to look at it. On New Year’s night we saw the exact same orange glowing lights so we were excited to see one back. I started filming the light with my phone video camera and my friend was taking still pictures at the same time with her phone camera. The light was moving back and forth and up and down and I captured it on video, then it turned into 2 lights also captured on video. My friend who took the still shots zoomed her pictures and sure enough you can see that each light is a perfect hat or saucer shape with a dome on top and a light underneath! We posted the pics on Facebook and are very excited to know what they are after seeing them on New Year’s and being baffled by what they could have been. We would love to have someone check out the photos and enhance them for further detail.

My daughter and I were driving home and saw this blue light not traveling in a typical "flight path," either in direction or speed. Not sure if it was a plane but I don't know of any looking like this did or following the path it was.

We were driving and observing the night sky, when we spotted a bright ball of light in the sky. Bigger than any star and not a plane, for it was huge. All of the sudden this huge ball of light stalled for a second or two, then fell immediately straight down on to the earth behind the tree line. With a friend in front yard having a cigarette. The sky was partly cloudy with a pretty consistent mass of light cloud directly overhead when a very bright noiseless flash occurred directly over us. It was from straight overhead and lit up my neighborhood evenly. Like a massive flashbulb going off. There was no thunder before or after. No sound at all. And there was no lighting either before or after. The big flash did not look like any lightening I’ve ever seen and I have experienced a lot of lightning. The only reason I am writing about what MIGHT be assumed to be lightening is that it occurred a little over a week after a major wave of UFO sightings that myself and many others along the West Coast witnessed and as illustrated on the home page of NUFORC’s site. Has any other witness of the major wave on 02/10/16 seen anything like what I describe above since that big sighting? Seen a big flash of light or anything else?

Enjoying a Hot Tub in the evening noticed a distant white light traveling from south to north watched as it turned into a orange glow continually traveling at a good speed. Than i noticed what appeared to be a parachute and object dropped down into the Valley of Eugene. Went inside house to share sighting with Friend than came out to notice a bright orange Glow descending down from the sky seemed to be different than the first object than lost sight as it went behind some trees. On this evening, I saw a Large "T" shaped Craft come down over the Parking lot adjacent to the McKenzie Willamette Hospital. It was right above the Parking lot It was like a Square cut "T" shape laying down the IT was Mat Gray in Color It appeared to be 2 stories in width and from where I was it Was just above the tree line and directly about the hospital parking lot. If you think of a "T" Laying down, the trunk of the "T" was the direction it came in at with three equally spaced white dome lights underneath and six smaller dome light along the Cross section of the "T" there was no sound no vibration it hovered for nearly one minute before moving forward over the hospital in a northwest direction. It moved slightly and effortlessly. There is a surveillance camera on the Medical building roof that faces the parking lot Id Be Interested to See what it captured.... This is a prime example of why it is so important to report a sighting quickly. If we had known of the sighting in February, we might have been able to secure the tapes and see what the object looked like. Almost certainly, they have been recycled, and used again. PD

White to yellow disc shaped object in the north east sky that appeared to remain stationary. It seemed to split into two pieces, with a smaller circular piece falling toward the ground. It may have remained in place longer but I was driving so I eventually lost site of it.

At approximately 5:15am, I witnessed what I can only describe as a UFO traveling in a SW direction over Newport, Oregon. I was located roughly 3 miles south of the local municipal airport and was outside stargazing before going to sleep, when I noticed a light and what appeared to be the underside of a vehicle lit from below traveling overhead. My first instinct was to get excited, thinking I was viewing the ISS traveling past. I knew that at those altitudes, they are usually still lit by the sun while other areas are in pitch black. I then realized that this object in no way resembled the ISS and would have been far smaller if it were. Being near the municipal airport, I then tried to guess if it was a plane or helicopter, but the object consisted of a single light (approximately as bright as Sirius) and a main body that split into a “T” shape that appeared lighted from below. It seemed to be traveling low, but there was no sound at all – we normally have helicopters flying overhead and can hear them very clearly, especially when all other daily traffic is gone. The “T” shaped section was moving approximately 30-45 degrees off axis, so I knew it could not be a plane. Located along the coastal highway, I watched as this object moved into the tree line. I was unable to grab a picture with my camera phone, so I jumped in the car to a lookout point along the ocean about .5miles away. By the time I pulled in and got out (about 2 minutes max) it had already disappeared, having flown off over the water in a west-southwest direction. I’m a scientist for Oregon State University, and have seen many type of aircraft, but this was nothing I know about. When calling the local police station to ask if anyone else had reported anything, they said they had not heard anything of that nature being called in.

We observed a triangular shaped patch of moderately bright, white light moving from east to west. It had semitransparent, filmy appearance as opposed to being a opaque object. We first observed it in Cygnus in the eastern sky. It had moved about 2/3 of the way to the western horizon in about 15 min. In size it was about the area of a quarter held at arm's length. It looked somewhat like the constellation Pleiades but much brighter. It appeared to be a fan emanating from a bright point of light on its left (south) side. The object was still visible as it passed from our viewing range. We are retired farm couple who were enjoying our predawn hot tub. Sighting of launch of Delta IV rocket from Vandenberg AFB. PD

I have only seen one other thing in my life that would qualify as a UFO and that was over Death Valley years ago. In the daytime and a very physical looking object it was. The below described phenomena was quite different. I am a professional photographer (sorry did not have a camera on me - I was outside smoking my first cigarette of the new day) and was raised as an Air Force brat and have always watched movements in the sky just out of curiosity. I guess it comes from always wanting to know what kind of plane was flying over head. Hey, I was a cold war baby. OK so now to what I saw this morning. Looking up into still very dark morning sky, many stars still quite bright and visible, and just at the head of a vaporous string of light clouds moving to east, I noticed two perfect illuminated semi circles creating a broken full circle of light moving together as if facing each other. They were traveling South West directly overhead, over Gresham, at a very consistent rate of speed. That broken but perfectly shaped semi-circle expanded slowly until it reached a consistent point, that if it was, let’s say at 70,000 ft, would be three or four hundred yards across. Off to side there was a flash of bright but contained light. Almost as if a large star just appeared and then disappeared. The broken semi circle of illuminated light kept moving in it’s original direction. The bright flash of light happened again but this time in front of the moving broken semi circle. The light again seemed to disappear. But then reappeared almost immediately at the head of the the forward part of the semi circle. At this point in the dark morning sky there were no illuminated vaporous clouds that were visible in the slightly to the north sky when I first noticed this phenomena. The trailing part of the semi circle band of vaporous light just disappeared and the forward semi circle now reshaped itself into a strange funnel shape as if illuminating directly out of the bright star like light, but off to it’s side - in a different orientation then it’s preceding travel shape. Both the bright star-like light and the funnel vaporous light traveled together in the same South West direction and then both instantly disappeared for no apparent reason. I would like to back up and rephrase that when the leading semi circle changed it’s shape and orientation, it’s shape defied what one would think of as either a light illuminating out into the atmosphere or a plane’s light or illuminated rocket exhaust. Imagine a star moving that had a headlight shining off to side at an angle but the light pattern was semi thick for several hundred feet as it moved away from bright light and then mushroomed out in a strange pattern and at the end point of it’s beam and made a perfect concave semi-circle. Almost as if it was a strange, physics defying light that was illuminating an invisible perfect circle, while moving. Again, the concave pattern at the end of this vaporous light range stopping as if it was illuminating an invisible large circle off to the back and side of this bright star-like light. I have never seen anything like it in all my years.

At around 5:15 am in the morning on February 10th, I took my puppy outside so she could go to the bathroom. As I stood on my lawn, I looked up at the sky. It was still dark and the stars were out. It was a nice, quiet morning. I glanced up at the northeast sky and was startled to see two white orbs about 20 degrees above the horizon. My immediate reaction was “what in the heck are those things?” They looked about half a mile away. They were stacked vertically (one above the other). The objects had a fuzzy quality. It was like viewing something through fog. Even though the sky was clear. They were moving silently in my direction at about the speed of a sailboat. At a distance it looked like two objects, however as it approached it appeared to be a single object. It was difficult to see the whole thing, as if it was partly invisible. It was either dark colored and therefore blended in with the black sky or it was transparent in parts. It was odd, like looking at a jellyfish-- parts of it seemed transparent and parts of it appeared solid. As it glided overhead I got a good look at the underside of it. The center was the most distinctive and clear thing that I could see. The outer edges were barely visible and dark. The center was a bright white light that was triangular in shape. There was another circular white light in the center of the triangle. The lights were steady, not blinking or flashing. I drew a picture of what it looked like (attached). The sides of the triangle in the center were not exactly three straight lines as pictured (I’m not that handy with drawing tools). It had three corners, but the sides of the triangle were bowed-in by the arcs of the circular things surrounding it. As you can see in my drawing, there were several faint circles that seemed to make up the perimeter of the craft. The dot in the center of the triangle was also white but distinctive from the white triangle. I believe it was a little darker. As it moved overhead, I pulled out my cell phone and tried to record some video. However when I checked the video later, it was too dark and nothing came out in the recording. The object was pretty big, about the size of a large dinner plate held at arm’s length. It made no sound at all. It was difficult to judge its altitude. I would guess less than 500 feet. The object continued on its straight path, heading southwest (bearing about 210 degrees). I lost sight of it behind the trees on my property. The entire event lasted about 30 seconds. This is the 2nd time I’ve seen something strange like this in the sky. The first was on 9/9/2015 from the same location (which I reported to your web site). However, in that case the objects were red, white, blue, and orange. I have no idea what this thing was. It was too large and quiet to be a drone, and it wasn’t an airplane.

Constant bright point of light like an illuminated satellite at the head of a triangular less brightly lit shape much larger than any satellite I have seen. It moved slowly and steadily through the Big Dipper in a West by Northwest direction until it disappeared behind clouds. The triangular shape was at a slight angle to the path of movement, unlike a vapor trail. The triangle did not change shape or size as it moved.

At approximately 5:00 a.m. a cloud of double shaped crescent appeared at approximately 15 degrees above the horizon at 1:00. It appeared to be clouds. Moved very slowly and increased in size until the crescent closed to a full circle. At 8:00 in relation to the clouds there was what looked like a comet's tail outside of the circle. The circle continued to move to the southwest very slowly. Outside the circle at approximately 3:00 there were three shooting stars. Another star flashed three times directly above the shooting star. As the large tire shaped cloud moved across the sky at 12:00 a white light appeared in the middle. The comet tail outside the circle remained at approximately the same size and relationship. A plume of smoke slowly came from the light at the center of the cloud circle at about 15 degrees to the circle. This, too, looked like a comets tail, but was less well defined than the first. The circle of clouds covered much of the sky prior to dissapating. The cloud slowly disappeared as the light plume grew brighter and the tire shaped cloud disappeared. The light and the tail eventual disappeared at the horizon in a tree line. This lasted approximately 15 minutes.

I saw what looked like two symmetrical clouds like two half circles spread apart from each other moving fairly quickly across the sky. When it got above me, there was a small dark object in the center omitting a light similar to on headlight on a vehicle except much brighter. I live up in the wilderness in a very small town of 125 people. I was outside with my dogs before work. I went inside and drew a sketch. There was a small plane crossing the sky much lower than the object.

While driving a passenger vehicle east on Oregon Highway 212 in Clackamas, Oregon, I observed a golden-yellow object in the sky southeast of my position. It appeared to be one very bright object, a square or diamond shape at the top and a bright "starlike" point of light at the bottom of the diamond. As I watched, the bright "star" separated from the square looking "top", and drifted very slowly away from the "square", appearing to be descending toward the ground. Both the "star" and the "square" were visible against a clear blue, brightly lit morning sky, the sun had not yet risen above the horizon. The golden-yellow color of the objects were similar in color to a sodium vapor street light, but much brighter, and appeared to be shiny and metallic. Neither object appeared to be moving horizontally. My first thought was that the object was a cloud, but there were no other clouds in the sky and this object appeared to have clearly defined boundaries, and the top looked like it had straight edges. The objects were between me and the rising sun, seeming to be backlit and not reflecting sunlight. The objects were very bright, the larger of the 2 being much brighter than a full moon, the smaller being much brighter than Venus in a dark sky. I was working at the time so had no opportunity to stop and observe, or get a photo. I lost sight of the objects when I had to change direction to get to my destination. My wife was traveling the same road in the same direction about 5 minutes behind me and observed the same objects, but because she had a different destination she was able to observe the objects until 07:25, whereas I lost sight of the objects at about 07:15. She was able to intermittently observe both objects, the "square" lost its brightness and disappeared leaving behind a puffy cloud that faded from view. I believe the objects were a few thousand feet in the air and 2 to 8 miles away, somewhere over Carver, Barton, or Redland Oregon. If they were any farther away than that they would have been huge. The "square" was about 1/2 the size of my little fingernail held at arms length, the "star" was a very bright point of light. I don't believe the objects were flares, balloons, ball lightning, aircraft, planets satellites, or stars; I have seen all of those and this looked like nothing I have ever seen before. My wife's observations match my own up until the time I had to turn away.

I went out on our deck at around 6:48pm. As soon as I stepped out, I saw a super bright, white, very large light above a hill to the north west. My first thought was, wait, there's not supposed to be a light there. It was as large as if we holding a 50 cent piece at arm's length. This was looking in a north/northeast direction and we're located in the Garden Valley area of Roseburg, outside of town. I watched it go in a horizontal direction over the top of the mountain and then it was just gone. I stood there for a few minutes and nothing else happened. I look out on those hills every night and there's never been a light there. There are no roads up to the hill where I saw it. When it moved horizontally, it would have moved away from the top of the hill. So if it was some sort of land based vehicle it would have had to have moved diagonally down following the hilltop. Also, when it disappeared, it wasn't because it went behind another hilltop, it just vanish! ed. There are no houses or anything else on this particular hill.

I went out for a smoke and saw four lights orange in color that where west of roseburg in a straight line from top to bottom then moved to a square formation 2 of the objects dropped below sight, and as they did seemed to rotate so that the light from them got stronger and dimmer. Then, the other two got very close and almost seemed to become one, then one rose up and headed northerly and disappeared the last object held its place for at least 30 seconds then began to descend as the first two had with its light rotating until it as well disappeared.
