We were walking in downtown Charlotte near the Bank of America building and snapped a couple of pictures. After reviewing the photos later, we discovered a triangle appearing shape near the building. There were 3 “lights” each that have a circular shape lined up vertically with what appeared as a dark shape (point), making a triangle point. From our memory there was not any noise at all from this object. The event lasted less than 20 seconds. I am emailing photos; hopefully you can review and determine what it possibly could have been. I do not recall seeing the sphere until the last picture I took when I stopped at the Blue Ridge Parkway Visitors Center. I took a picture of the sun along with the surroundings my entire trip back to Charlotte, however there at the visitors' center, that last picture I noticed what I thought was a glare on the screen of my cell phone as I snapped the picture suddenly there was a bright light, at the time I thought nothing of it thinking it was the sun, but later on I looked at the picture and I noticed the sphere had a glow around it zoomed in and realized what it was. It is in every picture I took of the sun that day, but the only one with a glow around it. The pictures with the clouds really gives you a clear view of it looks like. I will include only the picture with the glare around it until I can confirm this is a legit form I am filling out.

Orange ball of light in the sky over the ocean. Appeared 4 times. One of the appearances the ball of light split into two at an upward angle. Soon after the last sighting a large translucent ball of white light travelled along the beach at a very fast pace.

We saw a bright red light above the tree line. It appeared too large to be a plane and it was not blinking. I apologize for the vagueness and realize it could be a million different man-made things.

While looking east at the ocean a bright orange and yellow elongated shape appeared over the water. It traveled slowly in a straight line north. It became smaller and circle shaped but still had a yellow and orange glow like a fire ball. It got smaller until it disappeared. There was no sound and it was above the horizon. It did not disappear into the water. From when I first saw it to when it disappeared, was maybe half a mile.

A bright round light burst in the sky from out of nowhere. It lit up the sky like a flood light but was gone as fast as it appeared. It burned yellow, orange and red. There was no sound, no moon and many stars visible in the sky. It was positioned South of us, towards Charlotte/Huntersville. We so no movement. This was witnessed by myself, my husband and my daughter. My daughter and husband saw it directly. I was facing the other direction and saw the light burst from behind me and light the sky. It lasted a matter of seconds. It appeared to be just behind and above the treeline. No trail.

While we were on a family vacation I went outside for a little bit to get some fresh air while the family was watching an intense basketball game on TV. While I was standing outside on the deck, all of a sudden I felt this huge gust of wind. I looked up and at first saw nothing. But seconds later a giant black and triangular shaped aircraft came flying past me. It made absolutely no sound. It was triangular, black, made no sound, and had a red light towards the tip of the triangle and it was flying sideways from what I could see. The only reason I knew it was coming and noticed it was because I could feel the air swooshing and heard the trees swooshing. Whatever it was was definitely powerful and flying on something that wasn’t fuel. I don’t believe it was an alien aircraft, I believe it was some type of undercover military aircraft. It came and went within 20-50 seconds. It was so quick I didn’t even believe I saw it at first but I definitely did and thin! k about it all the time. Definitely a crazy experience that is so hard to explain to people.

My friend ((male name deleted)) and I were riding down Smokey Park Hwy., at ABOUT 9:55pm. We both witnessed a very defined "U" or sort of "Omega" symbol shaped object in the night sky to the northwest. It was made of VERY sharply defined light and have off no glow, or light-halo. It was just basically a perfectly symmetrical capitol "U" shape of such bright and yet defined light, that even at the fairly long distance, it appeared away from us, we could both immediately confirm with each other that it was indeed a perfectly defined U made of bright light. The sighting didn't last long because we were driving down Smokey Park Hwy, and first saw it in the sky above the "CVS" pharmacy as we headed in the direction of Patton Ave. The "U" shaped object appeared to be standing still for the most part, but we both agree with it seemed like it was vvveeeerrry slowly sinking lower in the sky... We soon lost visuals on it. Has anyone else ! ever seen a perfectly "U" shaped light in the sky (aka UFO) ? Both my friend and I have witnessed the lights and other more common types of UFO's many times... However, we both saw this tonight, it was there, it wasn't some sort of satellite, aircraft, nor any balloon or flare. Did anyone else see this object tonight? Or this very defined "U" shaped light seeming to just hang suspended un the sky in this area tonight? I have seen multiple different UFO's in my lifetime… However, almost all of those were the orbs of light... the "Moving Stars".. so to speak.. However, I have never seen anything remotely like this U shaped object. What a interesting thing to have seen... keep your eyes on the night skies, people!!!

A red and blue flashing light seen, thought at first to be a plane, but it moved in jerky motions. The object would travel forward a short distance, then move up and down, taking an abrupt sideways movement. It reminded me of how a bumblebee moves from flower to flower, then hovers staying within a certain zone. It would continuously move in the same type pattern. You could see a small trail behind it as it moved about. I watched for a while before going back to bed. In order to have a witness, I woke up my 18 year old son. He and I both looked at it together before I went back to my room to watch it some more.

Orange/Yellow lights appearing one after another due south of Holden Beach about 15-20 degrees from the horizon. The lights appeared to “turn off” one by one and then back on. Several lights peeled off from the larger lights and headed east and west. The smaller lights flashed at a faster rate as though they were sparkling.

At first four bright orange light luminated one at a time then multiple white randomly flashing lights in two separate goups off the coast moving in a SW direction down the coast. Appeared to be two crafts with randomly flashing white lights moving uniformly in the night sky down the coast. There was no sound at all.

Driving down E independence toward uptown Charlotte around 11:50 pm, I saw 3 orange/yellow lights in a triangle….it was a lot bigger than a plane and seemed a lot lower than a plane would fly and there was no sound that I heard. I have never seen anything like this and I was so freaked out I wish I could go back because I should have pulled over and filmed it.

My husband and I were sitting outside on our apartment front porch when I saw a bright orange light coming from behind the trees northwest of us. As it came from behind the trees it was obvious it was not a plane, drone, or helicopter because of the size, brightness and consistency of the light source, and also how low it was and how fast it was going. The color of the orb was bright neon orange, and it did not look like head lights, or any other lights I have ever seen before, but it had a glow to it. I got up and started video recording it, from our point of view it flew south towards the back of our apartment building, but was further past our apartment, then started going east then back south east. In that process, the light dimmed a little bit then they dimmed even more and within a few seconds it disappeared. When I say the object starting going different directions, I don’t mean sharp movements, but just slowly turning in those directions. Also, besides the other factors I mentioned before about it not being a plane I could also tell it was different because of the way it flew it was obvious that the way it was never in seen in a perfect straight course line like planes are seen doing. My husband as well as my neighbor, the whole incident lasted about a minute to a minute and 5 seconds long. I do have a video that is 46 seconds long but because it was a cell phone recording you cannot see the orange glow. If I am able to send please forgive the cussing I was very excited. We spoke with the wife, who submitted the report, and she sounded to us to be quite serious-minded. We suspect that she is a very reliable witness. PD

The aircraft flew from behind a tree line, it was triangle shape with 4 lights, 3 lights on each point and 1 in the middle. It was flying not too high up from the tree line, and seemed to be going at a very slow speed, almost hovering across. It did have a deep sound but not very loud. I was in a screened in back porch of my brothers apartments, and I was in too much shock to run through the house to the front.. I am regretting that now.

I was taking out the trash at work around 10pm on 7/3/16, when I looked up and saw an aquamarine colored light in the sky. I watched it hover for about 4 minutes, when I turned and yelled in the door to my coworkers to come and look at it, and when I turned around it was gone. Witness provides no contact information. PD

Spotted 4 circle moving from North to South in arrow formation. Spotted from 21:30 to 21:45 hours. Spotted civilian aircraft flying at lower altitude beneath the circles fling in a northern pattern. 3 in front and on in the rear.

About 6 years ago me and 3 other friends are hanging out we decided to walk to the lake which was a short walk from their house. Once we got to the lake it was around 12am. I layed on my back and began to stargaze and search for the brightest stars in the sky. I find the star that is the brightest and begin to watch it and think about life. After around 5 mins I sit up and instantly out the corner of me eye towards the left in the direction of the lake I notice another star positioned perfectly where i could not see it while laying on my back. What was odd is that this was now the brightest star in the sky and i was wondering why i didn't notice it earlier while I was looking for the brightest stars. So I restarted the whole process of thinking about life because I now found the true brightest star. I watched this star just as intensively as the last and did not break eye contact not once while thinking about whatever came to mind. The Universe, my past, my future, anything just life in general. But I still had the feeling like I should have noticed this star already. I watched it for about 5 mins, the same amount of time as the first star. I asked my friends randomly "Hey do y'all think that's a star or a satellite?" while pointing at it. I really didn't expect them to have any clue what star I was talking about because there were so many but as soon as I finished my sentence the star broke out of position and flew about 50ft over the lake that when i noticed that i definitely wasn't a star but it looked like a craft of some sort. Then it came directly at us in a straight line but moving very smoothly. At that point I started to freak out because I was just staring at this thing and it wasn't moving, it was up there with the stars. I told my friends we should leave but they were all stuck with their mouths open. I started to move back towards the tree line. Then I decided that I needed to get a look at this thing at least. Once I looked back it changed directions as if it backed off because it knew I was scared. It's a crazy thing to say but I really feel like it knew I was scared and decided not to approach us. It got within a couple hundred ft and I noticed a green glow that almost seemed fluorescent right before it disappeared behind some trees. It made no noise at all.

I was just outside with a friend and we watched what was either several aircraft pass one at a time or just one flying the same area over and over - the lights were out of sync (two solid, one red blinking, and another blinking at a different, faster interval). It/they were flying above cloud level, but big enough to see all the separate lights, and moving very quickly. We kept seeing the same thing over and over coming from north and east, all headed south-west. I'm quite familiar with the typical flight paths of the local planes, as I see them every day, and this was not normal. I entered a duration of 15 minutes, but that's only as long as I was outside. I saw the first one as soon as I stepped out, and they were still going when I went inside.
