Seen light out of corner of my eye. Was instantly sure it was a shooting star until I was able to look right at it and noticed it was three lights in a triangle shape traveling straight east about 1/3 the speed of a shooting star. I would say they were traveling parallel to the ground. Don't believe in ufos. Not a perfectly clear night but clear enough I don't think a light could be as defined as they were shining on a cloud layer. Would say very slightly hazy. No moon visible. Very strange.

I observed a large bright green glowing object fall to earth a few minutes ago. I had just looked up out the window, which faces east when I saw the glowing object fall in a slight arc to the earth and it seemed to have a white, or silvery color part to it. I would describe it as a green “fireball”. It lasted about 4 seconds.

It sound like a very loud jet plane, but you could hear it all over the sky, and it lasted for about 10 minutes. The sky was very cloudy but the noise was everywhere.

4 satellite looking objects were seen seperatly and disappeared, they were very high up and were nothing but slow moving white lights. About 3 minutes after we seen 3 more of these lights traveling together in a triangle formation. They were all moving the same direction as the first four. Possible sightings of satellites?? PD

I was driving down five points road in Kingston, IL, and I looked in the sky towards the east and saw five glowing lights. I thought they were planes at first, but they were hovering. They started to scatter and disappeared one by one. Source provides not information about sighting. PD

I was stopped at a traffic light on 95th and LaGrange, ready to enter the forest. I took some real good photos of a white light that wasn't wasn't moving over some clouds. The clouds were barely moving right. Then the light disappeared. The traffic light then turned green so I entered the forest. I was driving a see another light in the sky to the left again. I'm not sure if it was the same light or another light that was white colored again but it seemed like it was a little closer but wasn't moving. I attempted another photo but a tree was in the way when attempting taking another photo while driving 50MPH but didn't catch anything. I was now getting closer to the another traffic light by Clawdad Slough. I slowed down and attempted to about to take a photo of it over the slough but it disappears white trying to take a photo. I didn't stay to see if it would come back because I didn't want to be late for work. I posted a video on YouTube that day. I'm late reporting this sighting. This sighting also occurred on 2/7/16 at around the same time, exact time not documented. I looked up from my computer to look at the window that is above the kitchen sink facing towards the street and I saw a bunch of yellow lights. I was curious at first, then I saw the outline of a saucer. The object was moving slowly right, soon it would be out of my vision due to the window ending. I scrambled to my feet to try to get a picture of it via my iPad, but it had moved on, trees blocking the shot. I sat back down to tell those I know about it before it happened once more, about half an hour later. I managed to get a picture in which it looked like a tiny blip, the neighbors' porch light taking the attention of the picture however, as the neighbors' lamp itself looked like a ball of light. I told my mother about what I saw and she got up and opened the front door to look, and she said that she saw an outline of something over Lake Michigan. I went back to what I was doing, until it happened again today, 2/11/16. As of this moment, it has only happened once, and it was around the general time of the first sighting. I was just sitting in my living room, and I looked up out the window and the was a green ball of light floating above my neighbors house. It was there for 5 seconds then it was gone! It went so fast I thought at first it was a airplane, but I've never seen an airplane move that fast or have a green light trailing behind it. I was driving on I-294 North bond, around one mile south of Dempster, I saw a greenish fireball falling from sky in North west side of Dempster & I-294, tried to open phone camera but too late, and I called 911, which was transferred to close by Police Station, officer asked if I heard any sound, which I did not. To me if it was a plane, it would be a small plane. Surprise was that it disappeared half a mile above earth. This kind of light I have seen second time in Chicago, previous was during Sept-Oct 2016.

I was sitting at a red light at the corner of Mcarthur and South Grand, when I saw what I thought was a floating lantern. When it got closer I noticed it was not a lantern but a sphere of electricity. It was like lightning trapped in the sphere with the color of fire. It was flying low like a helicopter and heading towards Washington park.

My boyfriend & I were driving down Sunset Ave. I saw as an object omitting white light was coming down like a shooting star. I quickly realized that's not what a star looks like. It stopped for about 3 seconds and that's when I saw the object was round & a green light flashed from the side of it. It then quickly went east disappearing into the sky. We have seen these crafts before. The orbs would appear in the same area of the sky, follow a straight line a few miles across, then disappear again. The orbs pulsed from a dark red to a bright orange. They were completely silent and they were roughly 23 of them before the last one disappeared ((ADDENDUM FROM WITNESS)) I am sorry that I forgot to mention that the sighting was at 5:40 P.M. Here are a couple of pictures and a short video. Sorry for such low quality. My phone really couldn't capture the Orange glow of the objects ((END ADDENDUM))

I thought I was looking at a bright star low on the eastern sky. I got my binoculars out and looked at it. I saw green light on outside edge of circle, reminds me of August birthstone color, there was a < in white lights protruding in from the right side about 1/4 into the circle. It didn't move. I watched for about five minutes then went to bed. My husband said it was probably a satellite, my boss told me he didn't think so. I have no clue as to what I saw. It was far away in the sky. Spotted 8-10 glowing orange orbs in formation, with a leading triangle and the rest side by side heading West to East then turning North. The orbs appeared over the Antioch, IL, downtown area. I saw the first giant blue light that went from the ground to the sky. Looked like an atomic bomb, mushroom shaped. After that every 20 min or so there were smaller beams of lights that would go from the ground to the sky and they light would only last 2-3 seconds. My husband finally saw 2 of the 8. I have a picture of it, too.

Well, I was in bed, getting ready to fall asleep, and out my window was a speeding ball of light and it stopped, floated and bolted off back to the darkness of the sky! It was like living or like alive acting. It reminded me of a bee, and it was the size of the moon, with light as bright as sun, flying like a bee or an alive communicating insect that zoomed in and then out! It was too bright of a light to see a craft, but the way it acted and came in and then out made me for sure think UFO!!
