I was teaching my daughter how to distinguish between stars and planets, and as we were looking at Jupiter, we noticed to the left of it a faint spot light that traveled downwards from our point of sighting. The light was clear, and traveling at very high speed, until it disappeared on the lower horizon southwest-south .

Red lights, looked like a fire ball. Thought it was a chopper, but had no sound. Went from southeast to the northwest. It was gaining altitude as it passed. When it passed by it still looked the same. Was moving very fast. Had my camera, with a zoom handy, so I took a picture. Large black object with smaller black sphere trailing at about 25 yards passed over my house. At first thought it was a mother bird teaching a baby to fly. As it got closer I noticed no flapping movement and it was moving way to fast and not making any noise. It was shaped like the batman symbol for lack of anything to describe it to. It was at about 1 AM when I saw something weird out the window flying. I couldn't tell what shape it was it just had big green and red lights blinking it was going very fast, definitely not a plane. It was going in a circle. Just one. I went outside and there was no sound. it was nothing I'd ever seen before. Very weird!!!

I was in the kitchen putting my dirty dishes in the sink when I look outside the window in the kitchen and see a round, bright, white, light, as I see this craft at first thinking it to be a plane,but it moved faster and made no noise, and it suddenly moved into the clouds and it was then permanently out of sight. It was darker in the middle and then got whiter along the outside. I kept to myself about it, because I don't want my family to think I'm crazy but the more I think about it, the more strange it seems.

Camping at campsite with three others. Object red in color with flame center or orange center traveling East to west approximately 900' elevation at a slow but steady direct path speed flew over our campsite. No engine or jet noises flew silent but not stealth. Object made no downward or upward or side movements just direct path. No trail or aviation lights flashing just a round red object.

Meteor? April 16, 2016. 10:15 PM North on IL 57 mile marker 5-6 from Cairo, IL. I had just left a rest stop from doing my ‘TM’ (Transcendental Meditation), so I was fresh and alert. I was driving northbound on Illinois route 57N, windshields are clear/no tint There was no oncoming traffic at the time, and only a few northbound vehicles. I noticed from the center of the windshield coming down from the top of the windshield, a bright white streak of light which went horizontal with the horizon in front of me, from center of the windshield, moved fully across to the left lower side of the driver’s side window to the treeline. It went from a small white steak to a long multi-colored ‘tailed’ streak and ending with bright green ball of light that disappeared, either from the treeline or from just burning out. It lasted 2 to 3 seconds, as it crossed the sky from what I saw… fantastic! I had not ever seen such a fall. Thoughts that crossed my mind in 2-3 seconds: Falling star, missile (are we being attacked?) Rocket Bomb Fire Color to Green – bright!! Large – half the size of an over-head full moon ((ADDENDUM FROM WITNESS)) Oops. Yes, Cairo, Illinois, and it was 15th of April, 2016, which was Friday night 10:15 pm. Sorry and thanks. It went about 800MPH. It was diagonal/as it was moving. It looked to have odd looking lights that look sorta halogen with about 3 to 5 lights in a diagonal formation. It moved super fluently through the clear sky. It made no sound and semi big. It was not too night or too low in the sky. I was walking in the back parking lot coming out of Deja Brew. It headed towards like Richards High School. This was for sure nothing I would think that was made on earth. It was awesome. There would have been no time to catch it on camera unless there are any cameras pointed up in the sky somewhere in Oak Lawn at about 10:16PM. The sky was perfectly clear and about 60 degrees. Looked north out the window and saw a bright steady red light in the sky moving fast from east to west. Thought it was a helicopter but no noise. Ran to front of house to observe the light moving faster and in a blink of the eye disappeared quickly in the west. My wife came to the front and saw the light. The light was a extremely bright leaving no trail of smoke. The height of the light seemed high in the sky. The light passed directly over Mt. Carmel, Il.

I didn't see this until I was going through the pics I took on the computer. I was facing east and the ceiling was about 2900 ft. I know because I was watching weatherscan on cable just before I went out to take pics of the dramatic clouds.

I walked out my back door to bring in my grilling tools to wash them, and noticed a large triangle shape in the sky to the south. It was formed by 3 bright white lights on each tip of the triangle. It was really hard to tell how high up it was, but seemed to be large. There was zero noise heard at all. The lights were not flashing, and they weren't shimmering like stars, just bright steady white lights. There was a tree right next to were I spotted them and using the tree for reference they WERE moving slowly towards the NE. Ran inside called a daughter to come out, she said grab your phone to get a picture, I ran back in called 3 daughters to come out. Went outside, my kids were scared. I then called my two neighbors outside. This whole time there is no movement of these lights.. Then one by one they moved slightly, then separated and each one disappeared before reappearing more up in the sky. They each went over my neighborhood and continued for at least 20 minutes. I got binoculars and could see an oval shape with one red and one green light on each side. Very bright light was still stronger than the colored ones. I watched them hover for over 20 minutes.. Some went to the northeast and the others to the south east. Can't make any sense of it. Kinda freaking out .. I just! looked out again and I can still see 5.. 4 are circling and one to the south east is back to the very white ball not moving at all Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. Sunday, 04/03/2016, approximately 10:20PM: I opened the back door to let my dog out, and was greeted by an incredible sight. Three bright lights in a diagonal formation on the horizon in the southeast sky toward O'Hare...hovering for at least 10 minutes and pulsing brilliant white, the middle one brighter than the other two. No unusual sounds. Planes from O'Hare passing both above and below the objects, and the lights from the planes much smaller (1/8th the size) of the white orbs. My wife got a digital camera shot of all 3; by zooming in you can see them clearly between the power lines with the water tower light for contrast. We also have video of all 3 lights with planes in the sky as well. At approximately 10:30PM, all three lights floated (best word possible) to the southwest and disappeared; the middle light, which was the largest and brightest, was the last to go. With all due respect to healthy skepticism, I am both elated & mystified. Both my wife and I are police officers.

It started with one light, redish/orangish/white hovering over the horizon while me and my friend were parked on my road, facing east. I live on the east outskirts of Rochester. It was staying in the same area but floating, dipping, and swooping around. You could tell it was far away. I pointed it out to ((friend's name deleted)) and she saw it too, and it proceeded to swoop around and dip up and down erratically. We both saw it moving. I was really excited and made her drive closer to where it was. We drove closer, heading east until we weren't really in Rochester any longer, more Buckhart area. I lost view of the light on the way. When our view became clear again, we parked facing the side of the sky we saw it in, the south east whole sector of the sky. I couldn't find it and then I noticed it in a different part of the sky, much higher. We watched this light dance around for awhile. It moved in ways impossible to any technology we have. ((friend's name deleted)) saw it too. We were watching the one light fly erratically. Both of us keep thinking we glimpse other similar lights moving but aren't sure. The one light is flying over the horizon at a steady speed in one direction, then it slowly fades away and seems to dissappear. Another (or the same) light pops up much higher in a totally different direction in the sky. Then we both saw the second one. Same color of light, same behavior. I was ecstatic. At this point it was clear that these could not be planes or helicopters. And then they kept appearing--they just kept popping up. These different lights, all the same color, all differing moment to moment in brightness and dimness, sometimes becoming so dim as to be invisible. They all flew the same style--drunk alien, but never in sync; they would swoop, reverse directions in an instant, dip up and down. There were no formations to be seen or apparent organization. Sometimes the speed of their movement was shocking, given how far away they were they had to be covering huge distances in an instant. Some would move in a general direction, but erratically. At one point I could have sworn a fighter jet was pursuing one of them, but I couldn't be sure and ((friend's name deleted)) didn't notice it. I tried to keep count and I got to 8 before I couldn't count them due to the number and the extreme dimness of some of them. I kept trying to explain it to ((friend's name deleted)), but I don't think she will ever understand how much of a big deal this kind of shit is to me. The sky was alive with dancing spaceships. We were there for maybe two hours. I could not stop watching, it was like being in a trance. So I was watching the dance of the spaceships when I noticed a light in the sky coming from behind us (high, moving from NW to SE toward the spaceships. It was different-- bigger, and blinking one light and one color in steady pulses, and moving at a steady speed and direction. I assumed it's a plane but I watched it because something seemed odd about it. It's not like a light ON it is blinking, it's like the entire vessel is blinking. And the color is like an old yellow light, like the color cast by old light bulbs. I notice in between the blinks it appears to glow a very dull red. It changes directions and comes in towards the ships. I watch a spaceship closest to the incoming big yellow light and the strangest thing happens, the spaceship seems to become aware of the new interloper, and it swept towards it and back in a few motions, and then IT STARTED BLINKING BACK AT THE SHIP. And both blinked differently, like they were shaking hands or trading information of some kind, with different rythyms and frequency and color. This was the first time we saw any of the fireballs blink. They blinked a bright white. Then the big yellow ship came in closer to the other ships and slowed down to a stop were it hovered and bobbed. As it did this, two more spaceships swooped in close to it and began their own unique blinking response. So clearly it was another UFO, but different from the rest. After it delivered it's message or whatever it flew away (SE to NE and seemed to go higher than any plane ever could) where it seemed to become a still star. At this point, I couldn't take it and I called my dad to make him come outside the house and try to see what I was seeing. This was also a really strange aspect. Once my dad came outside, the brightest of the spaceships all started blinking red and white, like airplanes. They also chose a general direction and stuck with! it, though their speed fluctuated. It was funny because they all blinked with no rhythm or steady pulse to them. Long story short, all he sees is airplanes of course. He goes back in and I get off the phone with him and the ships go back to normal and start moving more. At several points, I made reference points by holding up my thumb or my phone still under the light in the sky, this was an easy way to see that they were moving relative to the motionless point. I can't explain what I saw, but we saw it and it was amazing. A two hour dance that started with one little light. GROUND SIGHTING, AS WE LEAVE: [A NOTE: we did not see any ship approach the ground or come close to landing] Right before we leave a big solid white orb light maybe a hundred yards behind us floods us with light. I sa,y "What the fuck was that?" because it disappeared quickly and Kaitie said a car. But the light hadn't come from the road. It was directly behind us, close to a house on the other side of the road. Then we were getting ready to pull out, and it floated out from behind the house. My first impression was it was just someone with a light, but it was much too bright. And it floated. It glided. It came out from behind the house and started coming towards us. We're talking the brightest white light you've ever seen, on the other side of the road not 70 yards away. Then it's gone. Two seconds of darkness ... and then it comes back on-- except it's glowing blood red now, and more dim because of the duller color of the red. There was no indication of anything producing the light. I was a little scared and we drove away, leaving the red light back there. That is the end of this report, but I feel the need to mention what happened the next night from my bedroom window. Kaitie was there again: Over the cornfield in front of my house around 11 PM two lights hovering over the ground appeared and acted erratically. One was bright and white, much similar to what we saw so close to us on the ground. The other one was orange, and very odd at first appearance. It looked to be a bright orange ball constructed of paper with a fire blazing inside of it. It acted the most erratic in flight before both became almost entirely still. They stayed until day started to come, and as the light of day grew, they receded into the distance until they were tiny pinpricks, and then nothing. I have no pictures but if they come again I plan to walk up to them and try and take a picture/just get closer. We spoke with the source of the report, and despite his assurance that the report is accurate, we question whether it is a serious report. The source of the report describes himself as a "writer," and when pressed on the type of writing he does, he admitted that he is a writer of fiction. PD

I witnessed for the second Saturday in a row, a very bright white light approximately straight overhead. The light is not constant but pulses on and off slowly gradually dimming and returning to full brightness. The light also will move locations slightly in no specific direction.

I don't know if this was a dream or if i was abducted. If I was abducted I don't know if the images I keep seeing where planted by aliens. But during the night, I saw a saucer shaped craft with a bright fiery red light on bottom what I had seen was me behind the wheel of a pickup I had not seen since I was 18 any way this craft kept following me and flying very rapidly around me there are flashes of images of beings I can't make out but another images I kept seeing was a black bubble domed cockpit helicopter with wings on each side and two heat seekers on each wing as I said I don't know if what happened was a nightmare or images planted by aliens during an abduction I was at home the entire night with my dog sleeping next to me with his head on my knees so if I was abducted how was I taken without stirring my wife or my dog

I went outside around 9:30pm to put some tools back in the garage and looked up towards the east to admire the full moon. I then noticed 2 fireballs in the sky that were yellow in color and glowing brightly. No flashing lights were observed and they were silent. They appeared to be as high as an airplane would be, and were moving towards O'Hare Airport but then changed direction. One went straight up into the sky and disappeared and the other went off to the west and disappeared. I again turned to the east to look at the moon when I saw 3 more fireballs just like the first two. I ran inside to get my son and wife and when I returned outside, two of the objects were still observable. They continued west towards my house then turned north. One disappeared and the light faded while the other continued north then turned to the southwest, where we watched it turn into a circle with no light that seemed to drop in altitude in the western sky until we could no longer see it. 3 of us have seen this UFO at least 6 times, with an extra friend seeing it tonight. It was more flat in shape, and only omitted white color. It was northeast of the house (direction near North of Chicago). We saw it rise straight up a significant distance at a gradual, but quick speed. Friend said it was moving in a circular motion before telling us to come outside. After moving straight up, it moved left at a 90 degree angle, a few minutes later it moved down in the sky about 25% the distance it first went up. Then it moved a little right, then a little up. Over a 15 minute time period it would get bright, then move. Before going in it faded very quickly and moved again. It was still in the sky when we went inside the house. We have seen it from different locations in the sky as well (directly west). It never omits any color, and will move at sharp angles. No airplane or helicopter noises, nor did it have the colors of those aircrafts. Also, too far away to be a drone or helicopter.
