An hour later two extremely fast lights bounce off each other heading from the northern hemisphere to the southern hemisphere.

Me and my ex girlfriend were sitting up at a lookout spot near Iron Mountain Road, up on top of Iron Mountain trail. It overlooks a large area of forest and some private neighborhoods. We were smoking a cigarette, when I suddenly spotted what I thought was the glow of a car headlight, but then realized it was slowly sailing over the very top of the treeline in the forest. We were higher in elevation than the craft so we were looking down upon it, which was approx a quarter mile away from us. It was very clearly seen upon focusing and it was just an orange ball of light. It was really slow and hovered over the treeline in a somewhat straight line that headed kind of towards us. We could eventually see that it may of had a "searchlight" or something like that and it was shining it down into the forest like it was looking for something. It was really strange and we have both never seen something like this. It was so obviously clear and absolutely couldn't have been anything else, we were certain of what we saw. It sort of vanished from view after moving behind taller trees but it seemed that it should've still been visible, although it never re-appeared. We both felt like we had lost ourselves in the sighting and had to collect our senses afterwards.

Three white dots not blinking but solid that were vertically in line and moved together as one with very little spacing between them so not sure if it was one unit or three separate ones. It just crossed through the sky west to east.

It looked like a V shaped, very large flying object. It was silent and moving slowly. It turned from south to west while we were watching it and went behind a building so we couldn’t see it anymore. It had 5 large red dome lights that were solid on its undercarriage and then small red outline lights all the way around it’s V shape that were also solid. At 8 PM pacific time, I was star watching with husband. We both noticed a "star" moving. We thought maybe an airplane but the speed and distance could not be an airplane. We saw 7 lights moving different directions, we followed the star for 20 seconds and the light would dim out, 5 seconds later, the light would brighten up, finally loosing sight 5 seconds later. A low flying military helicopter flew overhead while I was outside. I look up and then notice something flash in the blue sky. The object by my guess would be 30,000 feet. I looked again at the object thinking it was a jet aircraft. As I focused my vision in on the object I noticed it was twinkling like a star does at night. Then I notice more objects twinkling. The objects were not flying in a straight line. They were not drifting with the wind or jet stream. They were not falling. They were slowly moving back and forth in an area of the Northern sky. The objects were not in an organized formation or pattern, but scattered in an area. I counted at least 9 objects that I could see with my naked eye. These objects were witnessed by my father who was with me at the same time. I work at local urgent care and my father is a retired carpenter. Neither of us have ever seen anything like it in our life time. The best description I could give is bizarre!

Two red orbs the first one came down the beach line up in the sky at night and then it just went straight up into the sky and disappeared within a second and then the second Red Orb follow the beach line and look like it was coming right at us and then went straight up into the sky and disappeared

This was a fireball falling to the northeast towards Mt Adams, looked like a meteor falling from sky. Very vivid in the sky the most pronounced meteor I have ever seen.

I'm not sure if it is a UFO I just don't know what it is. I did not notice it until later when I was looking at my photos I took. I was in the car when I took the photo. I have emailed the photo to the email at the bottom of the page.

It was almost sundown. I was doing yard work in the back yard when I looked up. Noticed an odd flame looking orb gliding through the sky headed north. I watched it & took a video of it for almost 2 minutes as it cruised through the sky @ an elevation higher than a drone would be but way less than an aircraft. It was hard to distinguish the shape because it honestly looked like it was glowing bright orange & didn’t keep one specific shape. Very odd. It stayed flying linear until I couldn’t see it anymore but it was definitely the strangest thing I’ve ever seen. I know what I saw. My 2 minute video deleted itself once I went back to look at what I had captured & all I was left with was this short clip of the object. Note the trees to the left of the screen. It will give you an idea of how fast it was moving. Pretty incredible.

I stepped outside to view the full moon around 9:00pm tonight,the 4th of October. I was standing alone looking up at the moon. It was quiet except for the distant muffled sound of the freeway. Suddenly, I heard an extremely loud, low pitched pulsing sound to my right. As I turned towards it two very large, dark rectangular objects appeared abruptly over the nearby tree tops. They were identical. Each one had a large red light and a few smaller white lights. Each was approximately the size of 2 RVS together. There were no propellers. I was standing in a wide open space and they flew right over it, lower than a helicopter would. As soon as they passed over me, I ran into the shadows of the trees and waited for my heart to calm down. I was shaken enough I needed to talk to someone and went to speak to a man who lives next door in a tiny house he has converted from a former MRI truck. It weighs 34,000 pounds! Why am I emphasizing the weight? Because this man was on the phone with his mother when he heard a loud pulsing sound and his entire tiny house truck began to shake. Not just vibrate, it shook. He came out and we discussed it at length. My ex-husband served in the Marine Corps for 21 years. I have lived on bases all over the world. I have never seen or heard anything like this, flying overhead before. ((ADDENDUM #1 FROM WITNESS)) Hello Peter, Turns out we have a helicopter airport nearby that specializes in heavy lift operations. They have Chinooks in their fleet. My partner believes that's what I saw last night. Still. . . no propellers seen on a night with an intensely bright full moon. Hmmmm. ((END ADDENDUM)) ((ADDENDUM #2 FROM WITNESS)) Peter the moon was extremely bright as they flew right over me, with the moon as backdrop and still I saw no propellers. Also only one, unblinking, red light. A few scattered small white lights, also not blinking. ((END ADDENDUM #2)) ((BEGIN ADDENDUM #3)) Yes I saw only one large red light on each and a scattering of small white lights on each. I did call the helicopter place and left a voicemail for a call back. ((END ADDENDUM #3)) We spoke via telephone with the witness, and she seemed to us to be both sincere, and serious-minded. We suspect that she is an excellent witness. PD

My husband and I were watching tv when we heard a helicopter. Within a minute or so it got very loud and the windows started to rattle. It was obviously a military helicopter flying low. We have experienced this on occasion, but never have the windows rattled like this instance. My husband and I looked at each other, jumped up and ran outside, looking north. It was a clear night and an almost full moon, which was in the eastern sky. What made this encounter interesting enough to report was not just the helicopter. We are somewhat in the flight path of PDX and have planes flying over, so I know how fast they go. When we went out, the helicopter was just flying over our house in a NNW direction. In front of it, also flying NNW, was a small bright white light -- low on the horizon and flying VERY fast. No sound could be heard other than the helicopter. Interestingly, there were two airplanes flying south higher then the light and the helicopter. They had typical airplane lights and followed the normal flight pattern we usually see from planes flying over. Again, what was noteworthy about this experience was the speed and low altitude at which the white light was traveling, plus the military helicopter following it (I don't know if I would say pursuing it). I don't know if the light was ET, but we would definitely call it a UFO because of the nature of the encounter. Maybe something military?

We were driving on Highway 26, between 2:50 and 3 p.m., headed towards Salem, Oregon, and in the sky over the area that would be Independence. A large object in a circular shape the size of about an automobile there was a metallic flash and a white jet trail that appeared about three times and length of the object itself extremely thick extremely bright white and it seems like the object was moving really fast then it stopped and the vapor trail sucked up into the object and it vanished.

It was an orb in the sky pretty far up. Wife thought it was drone for personal use, but it did not move for 10 minutes, and then seemed to leave around the time some planes were flying by. The original reason to look in the sky was the sound of a fighter jet, and in looking to the sky for the jet, seen the orb. Light clouds did pass over it and it remained for a while. Then dissapeared .

Large bright solid circle low in southern sky. Sat stationary in sky, no sound. A red light was blinking below it in sky. Red light then traveled up to the circle and it starting moving northwest in sky and then completely disappeared from sight.

My mom and step dad say a red sphere flying and they came to get me it had lights underneath and flashed red when it continued to fly away moving fast and almost hovering like and it made a weird sound as it headed towards Silverton.

I was in the lying in the backyard watching the stars come out. About 20 minutes into it, I saw an object in the corner of my eye, and then put my full focus on it. My wife was in the garage and I called out for her to come see it. She only saw it for the last 10 seconds, or so. It made no noise and moved rather quickly. It was gray in color but occasionally would light up and get brighter. I'm not sure if this was reflected sunlight or what. The shape was roughly cuboid or spherical and seemed to have bumps and parts that stuck out. The object appeared to be rotating. I don't really know how far away it was other than the fact that it went behind a large tree that was about 30 feet away. The apparent size was similar to my pinky nail with my arm outstretched. The path of the object was roughly NW to SE parallel to the Willamette River. After it passed behind the large tree, we watched it get smaller and disappear towards the part of the sky where the moon was.

I was in my backyard and noticed a very bright light in the west sky. The white light had red lights on it that appeared to be blinking. I honestly thought it was a plane at first, however it seemed to hover in one spot and then move back and forth. At one point it seemed to move toward my direction and it looked like a triangle. I had my daughter come look and she thought it was a plane but it continued to hover and move back and forth which was exactly what I saw. There wasn't any noise, it was a clear night many stars but nothing like this. I'm going to email the video and pictures.
