My wife and I were taking pictures of the sun's halo with our cell phones. After we were done we went into the house. While relaxing later I reviewed mine as the sun was sort of in my eyes so I was snapping photos blindly and wasn't sure how they turned out. I see a blue planet like spot on two of my photos. The first photo shows no object, the second photo shows the object just outside the halo, the third photo shows the object much further away from the halo. I understand this could be something from the sun as we were looking towards the sun as see by the photos. You will note as per the photo, info I sent all three were sent within a 60 second time frame. We see in the photos what we believe are lens flares. PD

Each one slowly dimmed until they were no longer visible. There was one plane in the vicinity which seemed to be moving in the same direction. We got at least two videos, but they don't do them justice. They look like plain, small dots in the videos. In real life, they weren't so abruptly shaped. You might say there was an aura or haze.. There was no trail. I've seen youtube videos showing three dots in this very same formation (closest is lowest, second is highest, third is in between). Running car may have started revving a little harder/rougher.

It was raining and my husband and I ran outside into the backyard to observe more closely. They continued to dance around the sky always coming back into some kind of formation traveling west until they disappeared. All the dogs in the neighborhood were barking. I can’t imagibe we were the only people in the area to witness this!

It moved southwest farther away behind a tree branch and I could no longer see it. I went into my bedroom and could see it out the window. Still the same just smaller, farther away. I got my binoculars and could see it more clearly. I was amazed! I watched it for 40 minutes. I went to get my phone to google it. When I came back it was gone. The sky was dark. I don’t know if it was just a reflection but I could have sworn the colored lights were streaming (not sure of the right word) toward the bottom and flashing. The light was about 60 degrees from the horizon. I live at about 1000’. The object was SW from me in the valley, toward Forest Grove area. I reported this on MUFON.

Multiple lights were spotted in the sky. Some brighter than others, some at greater distances and none of them followed the same flight pattern. It was as if they just hovered, dangling on an invisible string. I have seen this happen for the 3rd time now and even captured (blurry) pictures. Witness provides no contact information. PD

On 2/18/2018 at 3:25 am in Summerville, Oregon. I was sitting up in bed because, I woke up 15 mins earlier to get some tea, was unable to sleep. Earlier in the evening it was super windy. All the wind stopped and was very still and quiet out. I heard a low humming noise coming from above my house at 3:25 am then the sound got so loud it made my ears ring. My dog which was on the bed next to me, she was looking up towards the ceiling and whimpering. It lasted 10 mins and started to disparate after 5 mins longer. I looked out the window. It was foggy and visibility was poor. I saw a flash of white light. Within a few minutes after this happened I got a migraine headache. On the right side of my stomach, there is a rash with little bumps. I’ve been seeing odd lights in the area in the past 2 months

It was flying low over my house, as I drove down my street. I commented that someone was flying way too low. It appeared large and had a red light. By the time I pulled in my driveway, it went high up in the sky (appearing much smaller) and was flying around like in an arc. Then as we sat in the car and watched it stopped and appeared to just hover in the sky in one spot for awhile. Then it went from red light to a green and white flashing light for a few seconds. Then back to red and still hovering. Then it flew impossibly fast in a kind of little circle. Then it had the different color flashing lights again and hovered. Then it flew really fast down until it was behind the house and I couldn’t track it anymore.

February 12, 2018 We are a retired couple who live in Eugene, Oregon. Today at approximately 18:45 hrs., we witnessed what appeared to be a fireball type object traveling from West to East in the Northern sky. The wind was 16 mph from North, visibility was 10 miles, humidity 46%, clear skies with many stars visible. We observed this object for about 3 to 5 seconds. The object had the appearance of a clump of fire traveling horizontally across the sky. The color was white with yellow orange and it left a short lived trail in its wake. The object appeared to be about the size of Venus in the morning sky. It moved quickly, but seemingly slower than a meteor.

Reason for report: Flight of an unknown craft sighted as I climbed up the pass near Mt. Ashland, OR, ~1045 hours PT, 04 Feb 18. Sky conditions: It was a bright blue sky with a very thin altocumulus cloud layer, visibility unlimited. Mt. Shasta was clearly visible to the south when I stopped to take a photo of the exhaust trail of the vehicle I observed. Narrative: On 04 February 2018, I was driving on I-5 southbound in steep and winding terrain in the mountain pass near Mt. Ashland. I saw what appeared to be a missile launch rising straight into the sky above the terrain, distance unknown, at a high relative speed. [One of my friends lives just a few miles north of the Modesto, CA, airport: judging from air traffic approaching the Modesto Airport (on the Bay Area DYAMD arrival), the vehicle or craft I observed was flying at approximately 4 times the speed of the aircraft approaching the Bay Area from the east.] I observed a large smoke plume, semi-conical in shape, as the vehicle shot upward; there was a slight break in the exhaust trail, then another just below the vehicle. The upward part of the vehicle was partially obscured by a cone-shaped cloud typical of a craft passing transonic speed. See diagram #1. It caught my eye because it was a straight climb upward, at a very high rate of climb and speed. As I was driving in steep, winding terrain, I had no opportunity to photograph what I saw until a few minutes later, I began the descent into California. I stopped my car and took a photo of the exhaust trail which was still visible though fading somewhat. I do have an operating high definition dash camera with a f/1.4 lens which recorded the event. (Please see the DVD enclosed.) The vehicle itself (please refer to diagram #2) was highly reflective; the upper part was tapered, though not with a sharp point; the lower portion was cylindrical and seemed rounded at the base: the overall shape was cylindrical, somewhat like a gelatin capsule. I observed the craft until it reached the thin, partially-broken cloud layer above me: though the layer was not very thick and afforded a clear view of the sky above, the vehicle disappeared. I want to make this very clear: this was not a contrail of a high-altitude aircraft approaching me from the south. Those contrails are seen well above the horizon: this craft was distinctly visible, climbing at a very high relative speed, unlike an aircraft approaching at a distance at high altitude with a thin contrail. The vehicle was climbing beneath the cloud layer upward at an incredible velocity, initially leaving a pillar of smoke or exhaust, and had a cone-shaped cloud surrounding the upper portion of the craft. Other significant factors: Also visible were two high-speed flights of military aircraft, very small jets (from my perspective); there was a flight of two, flying in tight formation, and another group of three in a triangular formation, sighted when I stopped to photograph the exhaust trail of the vehicle. These aircraft appeared to be flying at an altitude not more than 50% of Mt. Shasta’s elevation above the mountain (21,000-22,000 feet?) and no lower than the peak of Mt. Shasta. What type of aircraft these were is unknown to me, but they were small, flying in formation, at high speed.

There was a bright light in the sky that flashed between red and white. It's shape was almost like it had a ring around it, but it then shifted into a small triangle formation. It moved in arcs in the sky and was beside the constellation, canis major.

When I looked over at the mountain over the mountain there was a very faint star and then a upside down triangle appeared as faintly as the star, but it was bright enough I could tell the shape. The stars were in the shape of an upside down triangle. Then it faded out and disappeared. It would fade in and out. It then changed shape into a big cluster of stars when it faded back in. Then faded out. Then changed again to the triangle shape when it faded back in. There was a moment that there looked like a blue orb like something had exploded. It did not look like I was seeing something in our atmosphere I felt like I was watching a war in space. I tried to wake my boyfriend up to show him, but his eyes wouldn’t focus and he went back to bed. I sat and watched it for about 5 more minutes and then went back to bed. When I woke up at 3am a couple hours later there was nothing there. All was faded out and did not fade back in. Even the faded star that stayed in the sky during the hole episode. The sky’s have been too cloudy to see since then.

I saw behind a tree about 60 feet above was a lit up long flat disc shaped object. It hovered there for about a minute then procceded to move slowly along the row of trees getting higher and higher. About 50 feet away it got lower and made a simaler sound to a boom of thunder and then it got lower and lower and zoomed off in the distance. This took about 3 minutes then it was gone. Description of object: it lit up along the whole bottom edge. The shape was like a flat disc and was ginormous and long. Its pace had no stops and went smoothly. My mom and I went outside for a cigarette and she said do you want to see a low flying plane, so I looked and what I saw didn't look like an airplane. It was hovering in the sky and it looked like it was coming towards our apartment complex. I walked to the right, and when I looked back up to the sky, it was gone. I decided to walk back to the point in the sky that I saw the aircraft at and it was gone. If that was an airplane, where did it go? A minute later there was a meteorite that flashed across the sky. Both of us are freaked out and want to know where it went. There was a bright red light in front of the aircraft and the wing span was enormous. It looked like it was hovering in the sky. Several stationary flashing lights were observed hovering over Hillsboro near the airport, Hillsboro Stadium area. Three of the lights were larger and brighter and more constant than the others, all flashing lights were on the same lateral level (distance from the ground). The other stationary lights would come and go with a cluster over Hillsboro, there were two on each end of the cluster and about the same distance from the cluster one which would have been over the Beaverton Tigard area. There were approximately 8 stationary flashing lights in the cluster. Video was taken with a time date stamp, the duration was 10 minutes. The lights stayed in formation, in that they did not change places.
