I am currently on Big Beaver and Coolidge. I started off in Berkeley, Michigan, which is when I first saw it. If I am traveling West on Big Beaver, near Coolidge, it's currently in the sky. I would say its just North of Coolidge in Troy, Michigan. I have been following it for over an hour. It's just sitting still. Every now on then I will see red flashing lights on it. Initially I thought it was a plane landing. At first glance you can mistake it for a star, as well, but at some point you will notice red lights. I have never seen anything like this, however, it's really freaking me out. Probably a sighting of Venus. PD

While driving south on 196, towards Holland, I saw what looked to be a bright star in the south-eastern sky. It got brighter and brighter then took off at a very fast speed towards the horizon with a tail of light. The whole thing happened in seconds.

Bright green flash to the north west, which then streaked across the sky like a comet to the north. Color was very unusual compared to any other shooting stars I have witnessed, tail of object was a similar green to the initial flash. I experienced a strange energy tingling throughout my body immediately following said event. Reported by the news media as a meteor. PD

Feb 6, 2017, 2325 EST. I started hearing what sounded like a single rotor helicopter just hovering, by the sound, maybe 200yds away, 100ft up. Over about 3 minutes the sound slowly increased, increasing in intensity, until my windows started rattling, as if a train was passing real close. The rotor sound was very loud, 85 – 95db, increasing in pitch. I looked out the window, there was a bright moon, everything looked normal, no odd shadows, nothing blocking the moon. The coyotes were yipping and howling. In an instant, I saw 2 lines of light, one red, one white that formed the “sides” of a triangle, in that same instant, the light triangle appeared to move extremely fast in a straight line making a screeching sound, almost like a startled mouse would make, only much louder. The triangle appeared to be 30yrds away, possibly 15 – 20ft in size, about 40ft up. The “rotor sound” was gone, windows stopped rattling. A split second later, the rotor sound came back 200yrds farther East as just a low, slow moving drone. The triangle light was as clear a light as I’ve ever seen, appeared to be just below a solid object, that now blocked the moon light, The acceleration was nearly instantaneous. The coyotes went silent. 3 hrs later there was a meteor that streaked the sky that was NOT anything like what I saw earlier.

It appeared out of know-where and just moved back and forth and was really high above and in a flash it went straight and slightly vertical and dissapeared in a flash and left a fiery orange trail behind it for a 2 second duration. Strange object in the night sky around 7:30 p.m. here in Grand Rapids on 1.14.17. It looked like a white light that was stationary just above the tree line of our condo on East Paris between Burton and Sparks, the object was very strange as it appeared much brighter and bigger than an airplane headlight. It did not approach and get bigger but rather just kind of hung in the sky. An hour later the object appeared that it had traveled farther away but was relatively in the same part of the sky, (South west direction). The odd thing was that the object now appeared orange and not as bright. We suspect a sighting of Venus. PD

With Orion on my left and facing south, it's in the South East sky and within the tree line. I don't know if it's Venus or another celestial body. It seems triangular shaped and a very white, bright light. Just sitting there and not moving other than seeming to turn. But that could be atmospheric interference. I wish I knew more about where things are in the sky. Edit: This was in the South West sky, not SE (Orion was on my left) and after 2 hours, it disappeared. I went out to check on it and it was gone. It wasn't high in the sky. It was at the tops of the trees. I checked it about every 30 minutes. It seemed to just sit there and turn.

I saw a large blue/white light traveling across the sky around 6:30am. I was driving westbound on 696, getting off to go north on Telegraph, and saw a bright white/blue light streaking from right to left across my windshield. It looked like a meteor to me because it was traveling incredibly fast and was heading downwards and there was no sound whatsoever. The object appeared to be a few miles away and started at about 1000 ft and then continued downward on an angle. I was expecting some sort of impact but when it got to about 250 ft from the ground the light disappeared (and did not move behind any building). The light seemed to shut off and whatever it was seemed to stop moving and dimmed out to the same brightness as a star. After that I did not see anything else.

Cone shaped object in the sky around 6:20 a.m. had red fire coming out of the came out of the tail as going through the atmosphere and looks like it was about to crash wasn't sure if it was a meteor.

This is the third time my son has seen this object. Other times have been in the early morning around 0700. The object has been in trees then down the middle of the road. On January 07th 2017 he noticed it through the trees. But you would lose sight of it like the trees where blowing in the wind. You would wait for the trees to move to see it again but you couldn't you would have to move slightly to see it. It was a very bright flickering light that seemed to glow and flicker. I got in my vehicle with my two kids to get a better look. When we started to video it with a video camera it was a white diamond shape which we caught on tape. It changed to a circle with lights changing on it. The outside was a green with the middle being red. As we recorded it I had the camera on full zoom without touching the video camera it would come in and out of range. Towards the end of taping the object wouldn't allow me to get a steady view of it when before we taped it with no problem with it moving. We have this all on video. We decided to get closer. As we went closer it seemed to go farther away. By the time we got to a small town near us we couldn't find it. We went to the west of the town (we had come in from the east) we could no longer find the object in the sky. We went back towards our home, to the east, then we could see the object again out in the far distance to the west. The object moved to the north about 4 miles and to the west farther. We tried to get close to it in our vehicle but it was too far away to catch. I called the UFO hot line you told me it was Venus. I looked online today on 01/08/2017 and it looks just like the orbs that people are reporting and video taping. The difference is we caught ours when it was a diamond shape and then it disappears on the video and returns as a circle. We looked up what Venus looks like from Earth and this wasn't Venus, at least according to the websites I visited.

I was driving south bound on 46th street off CR 358 for approx 1/4 of a mile. A white light in the sky traveling east caught my attention as it passed over the road ahead of me at a very high rate of speed. I could not see the shape as it was just above a blanket of stratus clouds. The clouds were relatively low. It was very dark and I could easily see the bright white light illuminating through the clouds as it shot through and off into the distance. It traveled in a straight line and I was able to witness it until it was no longer visible. It took no more than a couple of seconds (approx. 2 sec.) to cross the sky until out of view. I heard no sound though I was in a vehicle. No radio on. Seemed much too fast to be a commercial plane, crop duster-type aircraft or a drone.

While closing up for the night, I was in the backyard and I happened to look up at the stars. They were very bright and luminous. Just then, while gazing at the stars, 6 or 7 bright objects began to appear and swarm around eachother slightly above to the west. They began moving in an erratic pattern to the east, juggling and swarming among each other. They finally faded into the starry background out of view, toward the east side of the sky. December 13, 2016, I've only seen this a couple times in my life... Today it happened again, had thank god I was not alone this time! My mother and I were driving northbound on I-75 heading toward Home and taking notice of the sunset to our left (west) and the moon rising on our right (east). I was compelled to look up the moon cycle and see if it was a full moon... it was "Cold Moon" full moon according to the iPhone ... I watched it as it got higher in the sky. As our driving and conversing continued, I kept watching the moon; by the time we got off the expressway and had made our way to US-23/M-65 for a bathroom break it was pretty bright, but smaller and it had lost its reddish tint. Northbound on M-65 I kept my eye on it. I remember commenting on it as it was so bright that it appeared to be in front of the clouds - I could imagine primitive earth dwellers staring in awe thinking this ball of moon was actually in our sky. This was not at all the strange part, that I am about to tell you... We were just about home. We had been through town, and were nearing the section of M-65 within the mile or so before the road we live on. I was still keeping my eye on the moon, it was real pretty tonight. I spotted what I thought was a plane, but its flashing pattern was in short bursts, almost like a camera flashing. It was coming from the west, but its flight was also not "straight," so I mentioned to my mom who was driving that I though there might be a drone up there taking pictures (also thinking it was a silly time for a drone to take pictures - its dark out)... and then as I was adjusting my head to try to see better I saw a brighter orange light almost above us. I was seeing it through the windshield and in the part of the window at the very top where it was almost out of view and I almost passed it off as a trick of light from another car. I looked back to where I had seen the drone/plane and it was still in the general place it was, but not exactly, like I said, its flight pattern was odd and certainly not just heading east to west. Then I saw the orange light again and this time it was half the distance toward the other objects direction... it disappeared almost as quickly as I saw it. We were real close to ponderosa drive now and slowing down. It reappeared. Not in the same spot, but close. The other object is still flashing like a camera. The pattern of the flash was very random. I asked my mom to stop on the corner so I can look without the car moving... by this time she has become aware of what I am seeing and has seen the orange light appear and disappear I believe at least once. We start heading back down ponderosa the rest of the way and the light has become more than one light counting 2, 3, ? Disappearing and there is clear subtle movement between the orange lights. I ask my mom to stop the car again an I got out to watch it from outside the car and try to get the iPhone to video it... we have both witnessed the light reappear and become three lights and move a little - I'm saying to mom out loud at this point "this is just like the stuff we see on the UFO shows on TV ma" - she's replying to me but I won't try and quote it cause I'm too busy trying to get the video and this is when I notice the two jets from westerly and northeasterly sky (I hear them more than I see them) - at this point I am taking mental note of the following objects I have seen... the drone/plane which at this point I believe to have seen more than one, however the orange reappearing lights have become my main concern... and the two jets. I tell my mom that I am glad she was here to witness this with me. I'm so glad you know that I am not crazy. I'm am so glad that someone saw this with me. We are also locking the doors tonight. We spoke via telephone with the witness, and he sounded to us to be quite serious-minded. NUFORC received another similar report from a gentleman in Lincoln, MI. PD

I've reported this sightings in the past. I don't believe it was on this site that I had reported it.. these lights have been showing up since November of 2014.. I have numerous cell phone videos of these glowing objects from the passed couple of years. I don't see a pattern to when they will show up but all last summer 2016 every couple days they would apear anywhere from 20 minutes to 2-3 hours hovering and at times all of a sudden another will appear (not as bright as the first one) right next to it or possibly more (have only ever seen 4 One time). They glow a white/orange color but when take binoculars and zoom in you get what seems like every single color illuminating (yes like a star) and here is where the star theory dies.... these objects HAVE been seen below the clouds... what is interesting is when first one appears it is always the brightest and dims then gets bright again and moves slowly gliding right to left... and when they leave it's just boom...GONE. (For whatever reason it is always the same exact location/spot it shows up to, then moves right or left from there) (Have videos)

My boyfriend and I were driving over the bridge over the Rogue River on Jupiter Rd. heading South. He was talking as I watched what I thought was a meteorite, just as it got closer, it slowed (which I knew was not normal if it were a meteorite), so I pointed to him and said, "Look!" The light surrounding the item went out. I said, "What did you just see?" He responded, "A ball of light that went out. If you didn't point I would have not believed you when you told me about it." It would have hit the water, but we did not see or hear anything.

Just over Bay city road two crafts were seen hovering close to each other. One went down toward us, then disappeared into the woods. The craft looked like nothing I have ever seen in my life. It had no sound, lots of lights and different shapes on it, didn't get a picture of it because I could not stop staring at it to figure out what it was. Minutes after, the second light flew so fast over our heads it was a big bright white light. Was not a plane or helicopter it just sat and hovered for a few minutes and no sounds at all. Would like to know if anyone else saw the same thing we did!

I was standing outside in my backyard smoking a cigarette when I happened to see a blue light in the sky. Upon closer inspection of this light I had noticed that the light was pulsing, instead of just blinking like a normal aircraft. For the first few seconds it was moving rather slow and in my direction, then the light did a complete 180 (which appeared to defy the laws of physics) and sped off into the distant clouds. I thought it was rather strange, I've seen nothing like that before. I can not say that I believe it was extra-terrestrial, though a possibility, I just thought it was strange.

Object seen in south east sky moving in an erratic motion up and down left and right in no order, flickering, almost looking like a fire from a Chinese lantern but the movement and duration is not consistent with one. Slowly drifting south and gaining altitude as time goes on. Possibly a star?? PD

v-formation of 5 hovering lights first seen right off exit 243 of i-94east at 8:40pm, lights slowly turned off starting with the leading light, there was a plane which flew by this formation in the opposite direction whose lights were smaller and white, this was followed by appearance of another v-shaped formation composed of 7 hovering lights, lights showed up all at once and then shut off slowly starting with the leading light again, these made no noise in the sky and the lights were large and bright, formations were flying east Witness provides no contact information. A whitish orb giving in the vicinity of Redford, MI, it had other colors coming and going out of focus but had a constant white glow I watched it for 2 to 3 hours with witnesses.
