On a Blink camera attached to a tree in my back yard that kept going off for activity, we noticed something with a blinking light in the fat lady corner of the view. After turning up the volume, we hear what sounds like computer noises and what can seem like a radio communication sampling of voices, but not one word can be understood. This motion infrared camera kept going off and in some of the few second clips, we can see shadows. I have those clips to share.

Whole Western portion of sky flashed green, then appeared normal. Quickly flashed red and pink, back to normal and then blue to red. No sound. Flashes of light and dark have occasionally been happening in same direction since, still ongoing as of time reported. No obvious shape. No origin point detectable. We took video but it remained dark, could not be picked up as it appeared almost as colored clouds.

As I was watching a thunderstorm, I saw a light appear in the sky. It caught my attention because it wasn't flashing or twinkling like an airplane does from a long distance, and it was staying perfectly still. It then started moving Southward across the sky, before growing fainter and turning red before eventually disappearing. In the first video I captured, I stopped filming when I could no longer see it with the naked eye, but it was still partially visible on video up to the end. A few minutes later the object appeared again in the exact same spot, and made the same Southward trajectory before disappearing - but this time it vanished almost instantly rather than fading. I live close to the RDU airport, and I can tell you that this object was absolutely not an airplane. In fact, I realized that no airplanes were taking off or landing (which I can see from my window) in the minutes leading up to this object appearing and about 20 minutes after it disappeared the second time. Then a line of airplanes began landing - as if the pilots were told to stay out of the airspace until it cleared. I captured one photo and two short videos of the object. Also for reference, I included a video of an airplane landing to show the difference between a plane and the object.

In the backyard, saw one orange orb cross the night sky in seconds. Then saw multiple aircrafts, at least 5, appear behind the orb and seem to be following said orb before disappearing. It seemed to happen within 45 seconds total.

The orb was seen coming from the direction of the ocean and was headed towards the sound (land). The object was illuminated in an orange glow until right before it started to go across the sound. The object could still be seen when the light around it went out and it appeared to be round in shape (sphere). It made no sound at all. After the sighting we heard a lot of military aircraft in the area flying low. This could have possibly been a coincidence since there is a marine base nearby, but there was more activity on this night than others.

I had just opened the front door of my residence to take my dog out. I saw this bright blue light which was stationary. I took out my cell phone and snapped this picture.There was no sounds and then suddenly the lights disappeared and the cube shaped thing was gone… There were no sounds or flashing nav lights that you see and hear from a aircraft. It was not a commercial plane and I’m certain it was not a drone. I’m retired from the US Air Force and flew for 18 years as a boom operator onboard a KC-135 tanker. I am certain this was not a military, civilian or commercial aircraft . This object was spotted from the southwest. My home is located less than 5 miles from Calabash and the Atlantic Ocean.

The object moved positions in the sky and seemed to change shape. We took photos with a cell phone with Space Zoom. It was really bright and seemed to emit an aura.

My passenger and I saw a silver orb (possible balloon) with small flat edges (not a perfect circle) while flying northbound at 5,000 feet msl at ~135 knots (ground speed). The object appeared in front of the airplane on the left side and traveled pass the left side slightly lower at perhaps 4,500 to 4,800 feet msl. Perhaps the object was 200 to 3,000 feet from my left wing. The object appeared near the western edge of the Fort Bragg/Fort Liberty Restricted -5311 airspace. The object was reported to Fayetteville Approach in the air shortly after the sighting. Also, video/digital evidence was provided to an FAA (Fayetteville approach) employee after landing. As of this post on June 13th 2023, there has been no follow up questions. Either the object was either small (weather) balloon perhaps extremely nearby (possibly stationary) or a larger object, further away traveling in the opposite direction… hard to tell without a known size of the object… perhaps someone can calculate possible speeds and sizes based on the aircraft’s information, my estimates, and the object relative to the relative ground reference in the video. I’m withholding the tail number of the aircraft unless someone is serious about calculations and further information. I am an accountant and IFR pilot. The passenger is a program manager/data analyst. [NUFORC annotation: Balloon - Possible]

I was coming home from work, coming down Queens Creek rd Hubert NC, coming to a stop sign at the end of the road. I was listening to music looking at the sky all of a sudden a HUGE green lit up rounded triangle appeared, it had 3 dots close to the tips of the triangle, the border of the craft was also lit up green, almost a honeydew color, it was a little above the clouds, before I could get the words What the fuck out of my mouth the thing took off towards the ocean faster then any plane I've ever seen and disappeared into the clouds. My radio also received static. I am concerned because I live near a military base and this thing was very close to it. This is no joke my cell phone number is (deleted). Please do something with this information, it scared the shit out of me.

I could only see two dimensions of the object: width and length. Maybe 6 feet by 3 feet. Maybe 300 feet above. It moved in a straight line. No sound, no propellers visible. The sky was clear with no clouds ?

Noticed a darker object by itself in the sky. Looked like a super dark small cloud, it was cloudy here today. We kept watching and it was almost staying in the same place until we noticed it moving slowly, changing shapes, and somewhat moving closer. Definitely moved closer, floating around until we lost sight of it in the woods behind us. At one point a small piece “ broke off” and continued near the larger section. I would appreciate you letting me know what it was if you know.

My wife and I were waiting out a strong storm with intense lightning this evening. While sitting in our living room with the lights off, she had fallen asleep and I was watching distant lightning from the window. During one of the lightning flashes, the sky was lit for a period of about 4-6 seconds, and I witnessed a cube like object above the tree tops between the lightning and myself. I can not say for certain whether it was directly across the road in the treetops or if it was farther away in the sky and appeared as if it was that close. But it was most definitely a cube shape soaring across the skyline. Black in color due to only seeing the shape, it had what appeared to be 4 sides, but appeared to tumble or rotate slightly. It appeared to be moving very quickly. I saw no lights or anything else during this time.

While driving I saw the night sky light up. I asked my fiance to what could possibly be lighting up the sky like that. We both looked and saw a Ferris wheel shaped spinning object above the trees in the distance. The sky kept lighting up. The object went down and disappeared.

Coming from west to east no sound a string of lights looked to be 50 yards long maybe 2000 feet AGL. Im a pilot! Traveling horizontal maybe 80 to 100 knots absolutely no sound 9:45 @ night Hickory airport control tower closes at 9 PM. Or they would have seen it! [NUFORC annotation: Starlink - Probable]

It was moving slowly and appeared to be very close , not like a plane or a planet. It had blinking lights and was visible for about 5 mins and then disappeared and then reappeared a few moments later. It was like just hovering over.

My daughter and I were present for a baseball game. Weather was VFR and clear. No clouds. Aircraft departing Charlotte airport which was running a southern flow were passing overhead in a NE direction shortly after departure, presumable on a standard departure procedure. My daughter spotted a small dark spherical object. I was not able to initially locate the object and so joked that she was seeing things. After a few moments of scanning the area, I too located the object. The object appeared above aircraft paths in the area moving slowly in a NNE direction. Was observed for approx 5 minutes. The we were unable to locate further.

I went out into the backyard to let the dogs out, and noticed an extremely bright light in the sky. I stared at it for a moment and it did not appear to be moving, and then I realized it was hovering very slowly in an inconsistent pattern (as opposed to drifting or flying upward on a path). The light was so bright and large that it almost appeared burning, as if it were a large meteor, but the movement of the light made it impossible to be a meteor, because it was not falling down towards the Earth. Another result of the size and pure brightness of the light is that it was very disorienting as far as depth perception; it was very hard to tell how far away it was because of the bright, burning nature of the light. When I say "burning", I mean similar to a pulsating light, but closer to the way light appears to move through a fire. I watched it move for no more than two minutes, then went inside to grab my phone and came back outside (no more than 30 seconds later), and it was gone, which is very strange considering how slowly it was moving.

We were on our deck waiting for the ISS to fly by about 850pm. We spotted an object flying west with two green blinking lights. The lights did not blink in a consistant pattern. No noise. The object csme to an abrupt stop. It stayed stationary as the ISS flew by then reversed course and flew east. I am a commercial pilot so I know it was not a plane or helecopter. It may have bern a drone but it was very high.

Just enjoying some nighttime photography when I captured an oval shaped, reddish glowing object with a glowing white trail moving upward at a high rate of speed. There was no sound. If I didn't have the photo I wouldn't believe it either. The photo I provide is original and unedited.
