Amarillo, TX

Very visible long straight line of white lights, not blinking but constant, very close together appearing to be originating from the same craft. Craft was moving from NW to SE at a rapid rate but gave no sound at all. Craft appeared to be high in the sky, approximately 7000 ft. Was not low, which adds to the enormous size of the craft. Craft faded out very high in the sky after passing over, which again proves it was enormous and not an optical illusion. Craft flew at a constant speed. Could not see a defined shape of the craft, only the lights. Took photo with camera on phone.

Witnessed cluster or one large structure traveling from NW to SE over San Antonio Metro. Lights were single file in a row horizontally and close together traveling at exact same speed and being tracked and followed by two f16's. Our vantage point being due South of metro area just outside city limit viewing towards the north.

Date of sighting: April 5, 2021 Location: Middle of Big Bend Ranch State Park, TX Coordinates: 29° 24’ 44” N, 103° 59’ 60” W Time: ~21:37 local time Weather: Clear My wife and I were camping at a remote campsite in the middle of Big Bend Ranch State Park in SW Texas, a very remote park. This was our second night at this location. The sky was dark—the moon had not yet risen—on a clear night. And it was very quiet… no wind, little insect noise. We were sitting outside, enjoying the night sky, chatting. As it happens, I had just commented that we had not seen another human being, or even one aircraft, since setting up at this location. Then we both returned our gaze back up to the sky and saw it: a bright light moving west to east, just a bit north of our location. I.e., not directly overhead but nearly. My wife described the light as “yellow” and “triangular, with a point." To me, it appeared more orange, and more spherical. The speed of the object might suggest a commercial airliner at altitude, but it was much brighter, and we would both say "bigger," than that. The light was not blinking, and there was no noise. We watched it move across the sky for 10 seconds or so… long enough for us both to say, “What is that?!” The brightness was constant across this initial period. It then faded, still moving east, diminishing gradually from the bright light to a disappearing dot of light over the following ten to fifteen seconds. The object maintained the same course, and the same apparent speed, as it disappeared. We both found this aspect of the trajectory very striking. If the object was at a constant altitude, one wouldn't expect the light to diminish so quickly. It didn't traverse an especially large arc of sky. It was nearly directly overhead over the entire length of the observation. Likewise, if the light was disappearing because it was gaining altitude, one wouldn’t expect the heading and speed of the object to appear constant. This event happened during the middle of a two-month camping trip through the American West. We’re now back home and able to file the report. These notes were made contemporaneously with the event.

Tuesday night around 11 I walked out on my back porch and noticed a blinking or flashing bright light that appeared to be multiple colors. I recorded it with my phone and it was almost stationary and slowly dropped below the house behind me and my line of sight over a 15 minute period. The elevation of the Clouds that night were low and some passed between myself and the object blocking it while passing by. Even when the object seemed to be moving downwards it appeared to be the same brightness leading me to believe it was not moving away from me but lowering in altitude. The main light was bright and whitish blue looking and would pulse lighter and dimmer with multiple colors seeming to be going outwards from the center outwards in all directions.

I was driving to Hobby Airport around 3:30 to 4:00 AM on the freeway. I immediately seen a flash of light in the sky, shaped like a game controller of sorts with bright lights on it. It looked surrounded in white light. It shot across the sky like a shooting star and disappeared into the clouds without a trace WITHIN seconds. I believe I seen blue lights on it as well. It moved so fast that I almost think I'm tricking myself into believing what I saw. I nudged my mother hurriedly, frantically asking "did you see that? did you see that in the sky?!" but she didn't. Only I did, and it was an amazing experience. It wasn't an actual shooting star either. No shooting star is shaped like a video game controller. It moved faster than the speed of light.

Approximately 8-10 objects in a group transitioning south to north, possibly southeast to northwest. I would estimate them to be over 40,000ft. No contrails visible. Skies clear. They were white objects. However, some flashed. It was more than likely sunlight reflecting because there was still daylight. Within the group of lights, two to three were red at times. As they transitioned across, their speed was more so constant. However, several of the objects maneuvered faster in random directions.

I was Walking my dog and I looked up and saw a blueish sphere the size of the north star but it became about 20 times that size and disappeared. It only lasted around 5 to 10 seconds was like and explosion or a camera flash is the best way I can describe it. It was also very close as in not like looking at a star or something in space but more like a plane.

This image was recorded around 12:30AM this morning from my Xfinity camera, which is attached to my garage. At first I thought it was a moth, which is common to see on my cameras many evenings and early mornings. When I slowed down the footage, I noticed the object was oval in appearance, and that made me think about a similar image I had seen on my front door camera. Thanks for taking time to check this out.

This happened just as the small stores were starting to open up after covid but they had installed plastic widows between you and the cashier. I'm guessing 2021, I came out of convenient store got to my car and looked up towards north and this very large dark grey, very fat cylinder with smaller cylinder attached at top was sitting under large white puffy cloud. It almost looked like dark whale skin. Very smooth with no sharp edges. Like a big can without sharp edge, bottom not straight across but slightly shallow bowl shape. Its was a beautiful clear day with large puffy clouds in the sky. I was kind of at an under it angle so only saw bottom, side and the small edge of the top cylinder part. A bit taller than its diameter but not much. I had thrown my purse into car before I noticed it and did not want to dive in to get cell phone since this item was moving up towards the cloud slowly. I decided to just watch. It was quite large but I could not tell exactly size or distance until I drove back out there in the afternoon and noticed how small a little airplane looked compared to this cylinder craft. It could have held 7 airplanes ( 10 passenger size plane) stacked on top of each other inside easily. I looked for any kind or rivet, window, antennae, flange etc sticking out from it but saw nothing. It was quite smooth. I was getting a very strong glare off of the craft but very rhythmically. I thought it might have something that the sun hit that blinded me. I had to close my eyes a bit longer than a blink because it was so bright but again was on and off rhythmically. The sun was already up low in the east probably around 8:15 am so thought the craft might be slowly spinning but saw nothing that Sun would glare off of. So I could not tell if it was spinning. I did not notice where the strong glare was coming from the craft. I glanced around what is usually a very busy shopping center and saw no cars or people anywhere. I kept looking for another witness. The Campbell 3 lane road which has a light at the corner had no cars which is very odd its always very busy night or day. No people or cars at gas station, drug store, barbecue place, car wash, shopping strip, dog walking area. Even the store I just came out of had no one behind the counter anymore. I watched this craft which had no lights, no windows and I could hear no sound. I tried very hard to listen for a buzz but it might have been to far up. I don't think I heard any sound, not even birds etc. It slowly moved up into this puffy white cloud. I waited knowing at about the speed it was going up it would start to come out the top of the cloud. I waited quite an extra while and it did not exit the top of cloud. I smiled and knew it was not coming back out. I tried to figure out distance in that if it headed down towards the ground where would it land and I thought it might hit the water tower in our neighborhood only a few streets over. No one in this busy neighborhood saw anything. No one posted anything. In fact I felt like I was the only person in this town while I was watching and that started to freak me out. Its a very lonely feeling. Did not see any cars when I drove home which was only a few blocks away. I was very blah about it, mentioned it to family member , but for some reason I had no excitement, and they ignored me. I immediately wrote down date time and a drawing of my sighting in my notebook. That information seems to be missing. I am upset that I didn't pay more attention to the time it took me to go there and get back home. Starting to think I was taken out of time. Also it was quite a while till I mentioned it again to family members and dont know why. Wonder if the glaring light was giving me some information I don't yet know.

Approximate 6:55 pm, while driving northbound on Westgate Blvd from Davis Rd, my family and I saw a red/orange flaming large object in night sky floating/hovering slowly from east to the west direction. It was hovering rather low, and we were able tell it was not a plane. I stopped the car on a median by Bryonhall Dr. The object was clearly parallel to our left side. I had the windows down and the moon roof open. We noticed the object was flame like in structure, it then slowly turned slightly southbound and appeared to be rotating then disappeared. We tried to take video and pictures with our cellphones, but it images are not clear.

From my vantage point on fm 967 between buda and driftwood, tx. I saw a dime shaped chevron shoot across the sky for no more than 3 seconds. The chevron lights appeared whitish with a lemon tint. The object moved from the west towards east and seemed fast and high up but the arrow shaped chevron clearly defined.

I was driving north on hwy 287 in Texas. I was a little past downtown Wichita Falls, Tx when I saw a blue object in the sky. The object resembled a comet or shooting star flying in the sky. It was light blue in color and also had a light blue tail. Initially I thought it was an object falling from the sky but as i watched it travel across my windshield it changed direction and then disappeared. The flight pattern was similar to a hook or check shape. The whole sighting lasted about 3 seconds. There was another passenger in the car who saw the object as well. He saw it out of a different window so that is what makes me think it was not a reflection.

Unfortunately, this wasn’t even a sighting at the time, although once in Indiana I saw a UFO shoot up diagonally into the sky. They are fast. Very fast. I was looking through old pics on my phone the other day, and saw this extraordinary photo of- what could be- a UFO!! It was taken at 06:29am on Monday Feb 15th. Why so early? My husband & I are truck drivers and we were stuck in Houston, TX during a historical deep freeze. We had just woken up to a frigid 12° outside, and I snapped a few photos of the thick ice everywhere. Nobody could move all week. Highways were empty, stores closed, people froze to death:( What I cannot understand is why the first photo (sans light in the clouds) was taken at 06:22, and the photo WITH the light was timestamped 7 minutes later at 06:29. Also, I looked at the IMG numbers of the photo sequence on my phone, and there is a number missing in between these two photos, which means it was deleted. I have no memory of deleting that, nor taking the 2nd photo of the light and only NOW noticed this exciting (possible) encounter from last year!! Any help you can provide would be so greatly appreciated, and thank you NUFORC for everything you do!!

Looked up and saw a very bright light. It looked like a star that was about 200 yards away coming up from the ground area and moving up in the sky. Took out my phone and began recording. A second one appeared and they both disappeared behind the clouds. I'm having trouble dragging the video over.

One single flying object approached myself (a non local) and another local hunter immediately after leaving hunting stands in the dark around 17:00 while we were returning to ranch in UTV with lights on in 40,000 acre tract. Object approached very close with extremely bright white lights and hovered for some time without any hearable noise. We were startled at first wondering what it was and then stopped to watch the object as it approached. Once we stopped, it hovered nearby in silence with extreme bright white light lighting up the sky and ground. Other individual looked at object with binoculars and described it as triangular with three bright lights. I had already packed my binoculars and phone for the trip back to ranch in UTV and was unable to look closely or take pictures. All occurred in just a few minutes and when I attempted to unpack phone camera the object rose and moved directly south of us at a high rate of speed without any noise. Lights subse! quently went out and object disappeared. We were both stunned!

Was in my back yard with my sister and Al of these hovering silent craft descended on my neighborhood right above my house anywhere from 300-500 yards up. We were staring at them when one came down to about 100 yards from the ground so we could see it perfectly and their were three large lights one red one green one blue that looked like square grids each in a line on the bottom of a silver oval shaped craft. Then they all flew off after about 5-6 minutes. My entire family had time to come out and see otherwise I’d be checking myself in somewhere.

Thursday, February 4, 2021 Approximately 8 pm Sweetwater, TX While driving north, just leaving the city limits on fm419, one other person and I witnessed an unusual point of light in the sky. It was of a steady and unwavering hue, abnormally brilliant. I was instantly drawn to it because it was apparently moving toward the south and descending in altitude at an incredible speed. I say this because we both observed an increase in apparent diameter and brightness that went from negligible to alarming in a matter of a couple seconds. Then it stopped. It remained stationary for several seconds. Still no flashing or shimmering. The hue was red, somewhat neon. Definitely exceptional in it's radiance. Both of us were awestruck. Then it took off away from us, receding from us, it seemed, and within a further two seconds had completely gone out of sight. The whole thing lasted maybe ten seconds. To us both, it was a decidedly remarkable experience and uniquely strange.

Traveling north at altitude of 3000ft roughly 1000mph. Was watching the planes come in as i live southeast of dfw airport while smoking a cigarette. There was 8 to 10 planes in my line of sight getting ready to land and i saw 2 cigar shaped grey/ transparent flying close together in offset formation maybe 50 to 100ft apart at same altitude but maybe 5x speed and 6x to 7x bigger together so maybe each object was 3x bigger than 1 plane. They were very near to planes maybe less than a 1/2 mile in the air. Passengers had to have seen them. Was traveling north for about 15 seconds and instantly banked nnw directly headed toward airport for roughly 15 seconds until out of sight. It was scary and cool as they were cloaked but still visible. I wanted to call 911 for safety of passengers but dont want to be made fun of. Thats why i googled how to report sightings and found this sight. I want to say im 100% sure what it was it wasnt birds or planes or even trash. This! is not a hoax and no explanation can be given to this except for ufo. I think this here is all the information i can give also im not familiar with this site i hope someone sees this message and im not wasting my time. Thank you.

I was on a delivery route in Pflugerville, Texas. It was 11:15 in the morning, 60 degrees with a beautiful blue sky. I pulled into an apartment complex off of the 35 freeway and saw something white floating/hovering in the sky to the north. I stopped in the driveway of the complex to focus on the object. It looked like a white plastic bag tossing in the wind, morphing in shape the way a bag would morph in the wind, but it was staying in the same spot, at about a 45 degree angle up and what looked like maybe one or two miles away. Unable to figure out what it was, I pulled the rest of the way into the parking lot and got out, hoping it wouldn’t disappear in the 30 seconds it took to do that. It was still there, still in the same spot, still morphing or flopping about. I thought, ‘that can’t be a plastic bag, as it’s too far away for it to be as big as i see it’ (a little smaller than a dime held at arms length) - it would have to be an enormous plastic bag if that were the case. So i thought, ‘okay, is it a paraglider twisting and turning?’ but it never showed itself to be that. I can usually get that figured out pretty quickly as they move about. So no, it wasn’t that. After a couple of minutes of watching it and wondering what it was, it stopped morphing and became a stable, hovering, oval-shaped white object. I couldn’t tell if it was a light, or if it was just a bright white object reflecting off the sun against the blue sky. I got my phone to try to take a video, but after a few seconds I knew I wasn't going to get it (plus I don’t know how to work the zoom on my phone, if there is one), so i gave that up and just observed it. A couple of apartment complex workers came up to see what i was looking at. I point it out to them and one of them said, "It’s a plane." I responded, "No, that’s not a plane", and they leave. At this point I noticed that it seemed to be getting further away, like it was receding away from me - it wasn’t moving left or right, and it stayed at the same 45 degree angle up in the sky, but it was getting smaller, like it was moving directly away from me, all the while still a solid white oval. I thought it must be 10 or so miles away now, so I called my brother in Round Rock, Texas, ten miles north of where I was at, and told him what I was seeing and asked him to go out to see if he also could see it. He went out but couldn't find it. I continued to watch it for a few more minutes and watched as it got smaller and smaller, still apparently moving directly away from me, until it looked just like a bright star in the clear daytime sky, far enough away now that I couldn’t see the oval shape to it anymore. I decided to make the delivery that I was scheduled to make at the apartment complex. It took about five minutes to do so, and when I finished, I tried to locate the object again, but couldn’t find it. There was no sound associated with the object that I could hear. The length of time of my observation was about 7 minutes. In that amount of time, I think I should have been able to identify what I was looking at, eventually seeing wings, or movement, or a change in course that would have allowed me to see it from a different perspective and know what it was. That never happened.
