My son and I were walking outside at 9:20pm and noticed a small, white light in the sky. It could have been mistaken for a star had it not been moving. It moved SE away from us at a slow, even pace for about 30 seconds. Then it moved a bit to the ENE and dimmed/faded into the darkness. It made no sound.

At approximately 2100 we decided to head outside to star gaze. Immediately upon going outside we noticed flashes of light located in the area of the constellation Sagittarius. We observed the flashes of light for approximately 15 to 20 minutes. The flashes of light looked like the flash you would see when a camera flash is used meaning the lights would suddenly appear, remain in the same position, and then disappear without leaving any light trails. The flashes were colored a bright white light with slight bluish overtones. Overall, we saw approximately 8 to 10 separate flashes in or near the constellation Sagittarius. We checked Heavens Above.com and discovered the ISS was not in the area at the time of the sighting. Also, there were no scheduled meteor showers for our location during this time period.

12 people witnessed 19 blue fluttering lights coming from the northeast, headed in a south eastern direction. We couldn't identify any shapes, and went from the time we saw them to the time they disappeared into the horizon it took approximately 30-40 seconds. They were flying in a random pattern, and it looked as if one of the lights had fallen behind and had to speed up to catch up to the rest. So after we had heard there was a 6.5 earthquake in Napa Valley a few hours away.

At approximately 10:15pm on August 23, 2014, my husband and I were docking our sailboat in Dana Point Harbor; our boat slips faces west towards the ocean. A friend of ours walked up and we were chatting for a bit and then he noticed something in the sky and pointed upward (west direction) and asked: "What is that?" We immediately looked up and saw approximately 25-30 orbs glowing white/orange orbs flying south along the coast. They were not planes or Chinese lanterns! Some of the orbs were darting around (going left and right), but still heading south. Then suddenly, one orb darted up towards the sky. It looked like a shooting star, but it was backwards, since it shot up towards the starts. Seconds later a second orb shot out in the same direction. The remaining orbs continued south and then split into two directions and alleviated into the sky so high they looked like stars in the distance. A few seconds later, a plane flew by. It was at the exact same elevation as the orbs originally were. We were so flabbergasted and my husband immediately started shouting out to other boaters if they saw what we did. My husband found another witness who was also astonished and could not account for what had transpired. My husband asked for his name and number, but he refused.

While relaxing in a Jacuzzi, I spotted a bluish circular light with subtle orange/greenish/reddish colors moving straight down a hillside (Emerald Heights near Indian Rock: also known as “Bear and Cub”). It looked very strange to be a car or helicopter since I see them all the time along that hillside. Then the light moved in a horizontal direction left, hovered there for a while and then right. It would pick up speed as it accelerated and then smoothly come to a stop each time it changed course. Then I thought that maybe somebody had a sophisticated laser device having some fun. But then the light moved vertical again going above the hillside in to open air. The light did not dissipate in luminance or outline, which I thought was too strange to be a laser since the sky probably couldn’t create a perfect solid backdrop. It continued this type of acceleration and directional pattern for about ten minutes, when I decided to go get a video camera. By the time ! I got back (three minutes later or so), the object disappeared as I was setting up the camera (proper lighting). This is no hoax!

Looking North from Oceanside toward Camp Pendelton, I saw one orange flickering fireball. I was driving in my truck and saw it hovering up near the clouds. I thought it was a streetlight, at first, but then I realized it was a fireball off in the distance. I pulled over to watch it and film it, but right when I got my phone out and started filming, it faded to black.

My daughter, son in-law, his sister & kids were driving northbound I-5 about 11:30 pm when they saw something with four lights fly right over their car. She says it was too close to be a plane & when they looked back, it was gone!

I woke up because i had regurgitated bile fluid. So i went to the restroom to spit out and rinse, when i was entering my room, and in my room my windows face west, i saw a bright white flash filling the whole sky. It only flashed once and for about only 2 sec. Just reporting to have it on file and to see if other people witnessed it.

As it was leaving 4 lights on the backend shining white shaped like a square, lights were on each corner. It sounded similar to planes flying overhead with slightly deeper tone. I had 2 minutes before it flew out of sight. I can't believe how low something that big was flying above my apartments. I'm not making this up, I saw this object and couldn't believe my eyes!!! Watching the lights on it back end almost completely resembling 4 planes perfectly aligned in a square formation.

I don't remember the day, but I guess it's about a week ago, and another guy saw it, too. I am a security guard, doing my graveyard shift, and I needed to get fresh air...so, I went out of my guard shack, and looked up in the sky, and there it was, an elongated, greenish/yellowish light, kinda like a laser beam, quietly shooting across the sky over the pacific ocean...from east to west. Weather conditions: Cloudless,clear skies. Warm. A flash of what appeared like a reflected bright light caught my attention when I first observed the object at an azimuth of 190 deg T and an altitude of approx 70 deg. It appeared to be rotating at a rate of 4 sec and reflecting a bright silvery light (Perhaps catching the morning sunlight.) It seemed to be be quite high and almost hard to find if it weren't for the flash of light. The movement was very slow as if it were drifting. The direction was from north to south. My observation was from the 70 deg point to 35 deg.. The travel time was approx 10 min. I used my 7X50 binocs to further investigate the object. The shape appeared to be a pipelike cylnder (a ratio of 10 to 1 length to width). It also had some sort of an arrow shaped tip. It appeared to be at a very high altitude, perhaps space and therefore the object appeared quite small. It continued to drift south. I believe it may have been some object (junk) in space that was rotating and reflecting the sunlight. We often observe the ISS (at night), which is a fast moving object, lasting no longer than 6 min in transit..

From the summit of the Santa Cruz mountains looking down into Boulder Creek area saw 5 or 6 white balls of light bouncing or dancing around getting very bright and big, then getting dimmer. Bright and dim getting bigger and smaller and bigger… Also a small round dimmer orange ball of light off to the side. I watched for around 10 minutes at 4:00AM.

Within 3-5 minutes, each would simply disappear. At first we thought there were clouds but we could see stars in the background of the same part of the sky. Their general motion would fit that of very large balloons yet were faster in their motion than balloons. They were not at all like flares and the general makeup of the lights seemed like each had a brighter center and vertical and horizontal refraction. There is no doubt that we all saw these lights and we recorded videos on our phones. LAX with planes taking off were clearly between the lights and our position. Sitting in front of my business with a co-worker we saw a large metallic sphere (like a pinball). Size was the same as a 747 jet. It made quick moves (approximately two thousand feet), both up and to the side. Each move was made in a split second. The craft would stop on a dime. The starting height was about ten thousand feet. It then took off across the sky towards the western coastline. Witness indicates that the date of the sighting is approximate. PD

We noticed try these light objects gaining altitude and then coming back down the east side of the lake. They seemed to get larger than smaller in size and almost seemed to be shape shifting into different shapes. About a hour had past and I noticed a 3rd object in the north part of the lake. A very bright red ball hovering in the night sky. Slow movements staying within same area. Would disappear and reappear instantly in another spot. Twice it blinked six times and then disappeared. It would disappear for a few minutes and then return. No other colors or flashing lights ( airplane, helicopter). Never seen before. Out in empty sky with no buildings or towers or any man made structures. I looked at the sky in the morning daylight and the area i saw it in was clear.

My wife and I were driving west on Oceanside Blvd. She looked south and said, "Oh my gosh, there are six red lights hovering really low in they sky" As I looked up I could see all six red lights, not one of the lights were blinking like most aircraft in the sky. They were all far too close togther to be helicopters or airplanes, about 100 feet off the ground and almost as if they were in a rectangular formation. We live close to the Marine base and I've seen helicopters in formation many times before, never do they fly in a proportionate rectangular formation. Also, you can hear helicopters/airplanes flying, there was no sound. We made a left driving toward the lights. The two lights at the top of the formation began to move up toward the sky very slowly. We pulled into our garage and came running out with our camera phones ready, the lights were gone. In the literal 5 seconds it took to get back outside to see the lights, they had completely vanished. We were astonished and left to wonder, what type of red lights could have been stagnant in the sky and just completely vanish within seconds?

Third Party report. I’m reporting a sighting for a co-worker. On 8/13/14, at approximately 9:40 PM, a bright amber colored object passed over Sacramento, CA, moving from south to north. From Watt Ave towards Fair Oaks Blvd. No sound, the light illuminated from all sides, the object appeared front & back to pointed with a thicker middle section like two funnels put together (not really sure because of the object’s brightness) End of Report

On Wednesday, August 13, 2014, i witnessed a flying craft approximately 1200 to 1500 ft long traveling between two clouds in where i live in Sacramento, California. In the sky at that time there was only two clouds visible and i was walking out my door and something caught my eye and i looked in that direction to see this sight. The craft appeared to be internally lighted as a light bulb would look with a lamp shade around it. The two clouds appeared to be around a half a mile from each other and the craft flew slowly from one cloud to the other. When i first saw the flying craft it was already out from behind or in the first cloud and was making its way towards the second one in a very slow fashion almost stopping several times before proceeding forward. This craft was huge and i got the feeling it wanted me to see it and almost seemed to be giving me a show if that makes any sense. I stood there in my back yard and watched this craft make its way to the other cloud for at least two minutes and just before it reached the second of the two clouds it cloaked and disappeared completely right before my eyes. I want to make it perfectly clear that this craft didn't disappear in the cloud or behind it. It disappeared before reaching the second cloud.I beleieve it wanted me to see it and was making sure i witnessed the event. I have no idea why I walked out into me back yard when I did and I had no reason to do so. The craft i saw was cigar shaped, pinched at the ends slightly. No noise could be heard coming from the object and was completely silent. The time of the incident was 9:30am and the sky was completely clear except for the two clouds the object was clearly using to hide itself in although this object could park right over your house in broad daylight and you would never even know it was there. I am just puzzled that this sighting was not reported in the news at all because it was so visibly clear and so massive in size and the time of day it was. Concidering this object was clearly visible in the capitol of California it should have been seen by literally thousands of people but never even was reported in the news.

I was driving South on Highway 101 Near Goleta, California, heading towards Santa Barbara. , At about 6:15 AM (Pacific), on my right hand side to the North, I saw what appeared to be a rocket leaving the atmosphere. It was an orange light that was difficult to gain focus on so I put on my glasses. The light slowly changed to a line that was tilted up on the left side to about 50 degrees. This line seemed to stay in the same spot and changed shape slightly as I was driving south. After about 6 minutes the light seemed to gain momentum as it traveled East Southeast, eventually moving over the horizon. This glowing orange line seemed to be reflecting the rising sun which had not yet peaked over the mountain range. It was not a celestial body as it moved far too fast. That being said, this line was very high altitude and moving very fast. I am documenting this in case other saw the same thing, but it could easily have been a very rare anomaly that occurs naturally but I have never seen anything like it.
