Corte Madera, CA
I saw a huge red glowing object, shaped like a football with curved right and left sides, but way more circular and fat from top to bottom, literally rise straight up from behind a hill in Corte Madera, that sits on the Bay just east of Hwy. 101. I have never seen anything quite like this in all my life. This craft rapidly approached a cluster of yellow gold luminous objects that I had been watching for the last couple of minutes. It started out as 2 or 3 lights, and then there were 5, and then 8, lights in a V-formation and in a straight line in front of this hill. This glowing red object had no features except a sort of brim around the center, making it look like two inverted bowls held together and was strobing and pulsating in one color-a dark red. It was huge compared to these other yellow gold lights and looked very solid and metallic. It suddenly banked and headed to the south through San Francisco and kept going very fast.

Flashing star-like formation. Flashes white, reds, blues, purples & greens. We have been seeing this since 12/31/2013. It's not a star because the other stars would be out and this one would disappear. It even appears when there are clouds, and moves very fast. My family and I have several videos and pictures. Possible star?? PD

On the evening of Thursday, January 29, 2015, at about 8 P.M., we saw orange lights over Monterey Bay from our oceanfront house in Pacific Grove, CA. The viewing lasted about 15 minutes. First, two bright orange lights were seen from our window, heading east from the ocean into the Bay. We went out to our balcony to get a better view, and an additional 4 lights in a vertical diamond formation came into sight. All lights were bright, steady (no flashing), and moving slowly and silently. They were at a low altitude –maybe 200-500’ above the water. The first two lights appeared to come together (possibly one moved in front of the other so that only one was visible…), then, after a few seconds, the(ir) light rapidly moved north across the Bay and faded. The other 4 lights began to fade as they began to move north. After the orange lights were gone from sight, we could still see tiny dim lights (of red, white, and blue) moving erratically around each other, apparently on the far side of the Bay. At least two small private planes flew near the lights during our observation. It would be interesting to know the observations of the pilots.

A minute or so later, it ascended to the precise same spot. It hovered there for a minute or so, then repeated the same rapid descent. I did not see it again. No sound and no other sighting. I did not get any any video or photos. There was no trail. The entire event was about 5 minutes. ((ADDENDUM FROM WITNESS)) I will do some checking for others who may have seen it. It descended and ascended so fast that it was hard to believe. No acceleration. From zero to full speed instantly. However, at that time of day, others would have seen it. I will report back if I find any corroborating reports. ((END ADDENDUM))

This happened after I passed Stevenson Blvd. exit while in my vehicle, going South on 880. I could see three very bright white lights in the sky from a distance. These were three separate objects, but they were somewhat of the same altitude from where I was viewing. The object in the middle was very bright (the brightest), the light was pulsing, and it was moving downwards very slowly. After about 30 seconds, it disappeared, then reappeared as a smaller light for another 10 seconds or so. Then it completely vanished. To the right of the brightest object was a smaller one that was moving horizontally very slowly. It didn’t blink at all. It looked like a bright star during a clear night. To the left of the brightest object was a smaller one that was moving downwards slowly, the light on it was also pulsing. It went on for about 40 seconds. The distance between the objects from my viewpoint, was about 1 inch horizontally.

Huge, "air craft carrier sized and shaped" ufo off-shore in Malibu, with "brilliant and beautiful star colored lights, as well as red & blue ones on a "mast" shaped sub-structure, with white gold rotating ones around its circumference", in California on January 29th, 2015, from approximately 5:45-6 a.m. Approximately 200 yards to half mile off Shore in Malibu, California... This object moved through water in such a way that if it were a naval vessel or ocean going craft it would have been moving along its port or starboard beam instead of bow wise through the water. Its gold/white circular lights, which seemed to surround its entire super structure - which seemed to be semi opaque or transparent in nature - seemed to be rotating like a circus's merry go round, while other lights, including a bright red one, a super bright white one, and some extremely brilliant star greenish blue ones as well as a deep dark blue one, appeared to be strung upon 1) a type of mast at the rear right side, and 2) perhaps strung in some kind of lines from that mast like a lighted sailing ships ropes and or lines of Xmas tree lights --3) as well as being/or simply interspersed throughout the entire semi opaque bodies mass of the super structure with the spinning merry go round white gold lights This object was so large and must have displaced roughly the same amount of water as a mini nuclear powered aircraft carrier - yet when my fiancé left our apartment on the beach on Malibu Road (right beneath PCH and Pepperdine University, by Malibu Canyon/Las Virgenes Road) to go for a ten minute drive, it was nowhere in sight off shore. Yet when she returned approx. ten minutes later, there it was, looming right off the beach. It just sat there in the water while we exclaimed and wonder aloud about it and went to fetch binoculars and a telescope and our iPhones to attempt to capture stills and video of it but it was too far and dark to enable a capture-yet it remained there while we scrutinized it for five or so minutes till she said, "I'm going inside- it's too close." Then, as if responding to her fear it moved off so as not to trouble her to the north east somewhat laterally-port side first rather then bow or stem to stern... When we checked back in another five or so minutes, it was nowhere to be seen, yet a rather blurry and opaque fog had indeed moved in approx. where it was doing whatever it was engaged upon, before our scrutiny and my girl's sudden apprehension- and it's my pet conjecture and theory that it simply "cloaked" itself to be able to resume its tasks unobserved and uninterrupted, as the sun came up around six am and the entire sighting lasted only about fifteen minutes, or from 5:45 till when we checked back at six after sunrise, and it had disappeared. In the eastern sky I saw a single bright red/orange light. The time was approximately 8PM. It was hovering in one place for less than a minute, then seemed to slowly ascend into the clouds. It was silent.

It had just rained in the morning and now in the afternoon the sky was clear and without haze. The time was between 1600 and 1630 about an hour before the sun sets. I was in my backyard working in the garden when I happened to look up and see some seagulls circling above. Then further up in the sky a bright spot caught my eye. Then another one and another until there was a bunch of them. They were traveling northwest to southwest from my location. At first I thought they might have been airplanes but I could not make out any wings. They were very high in the sky so I thought maybe that might be why I could not see any. The light I saw from them appeared to be reflection of the sun from something metallic. Most were not blinking but rather shown steady as a reflection. However, there were a few in the center of the cluster that had a red glow that increased and decreased in intensity. They were not in any formation. They were scattered in an elongated bunch, some apart, some were close together. After a minute or so I decided to try and count them. I got to ten but started to lose the front ones flying into the southwest. I estimate that there were maybe 18 to 25. They looked like stars. Some brighter than others, but flying as a group.

Location: Los Angeles, Ca/Playa Vista 90066 South East in the sky (Very High Up) Time: 11:41AM/1140hrs Duration: 2 Minutes tops Sighting: I stepped outside my upstairs patio to enjoy a cup of coffee this afternoon. I looked up to admire the beautiful weather and the clear sky. I noticed a group of seagulls flying in formation. They passed, then three seagulls remained flying in the air without the rest of the group. As I continued to watch the birds I kept thinking my mind was playing tricks on me due to the height of the birds. They seemed to be flying higher and higher in the sky with a swirl type motion without flapping their wings. Then the more I looked at the birds, the wings seemed to morph into their bodies. I was only able to focus on one bird as they appeared smaller. It got smaller and smaller then turned into a white dot in the sky. The next thing that happened is that it started to glow a white bright light. Then, lastly, it turned into a tiny, red, glowing dot in the sky. It was the size of a tiny star in the sky, but glowing red in broad daylight in a clear blue sky. It was the most bizarre thing I think I ever witnessed. Basically, I saw a seagull turn into a glowing orb. The best part about it was I caught it on my iPhone. It is very hard to see. Images are not apparent in video provided by witness. PD

Tonight, while sitting in my hot tub, I was looking at the sky and I saw an object like nothing I have seen before. It followed no regular flight pattern. It appeared to be moving in a South/West direction. The craft was round and looked like two plates stacked on top of each other. There was a round pattern of lights on the "bottom plate" of the craft. It appeared to move slowly, but within ten seconds I could no longer see it at all. I jumped out of the tub and hollered at my wife to look up at it, but she was frightened by the tone of my voice and by my excitement and would not look up, so she do not see it, but we are both still shaken by the experience. We are both very interested to know if any other such sightings occurred in this a! rea around the same time this evening. We will look at the reported sightings report regularly and are sorry that we are not allowed to provide our contact info.

At first, I thought looks to be balloons, but I've seen balloons, and this was not any type of balloon or balloons I've seen before. There were 5 surrounding the bigger brighter one and moving around and away from the bigger one and at times the smaller ones would move closer the chase the other ones away and move above the a 7th one came right through the middle as if they were playing they would move into a triangle.

Massive formation lower than the clouds. You could see the perimeter of it, but it was transparent, like if you were to put a clear shaped dining piece of glass underwater and then moved it. You would still be able to see it, even though it's transparent...that's the best way we can describe it. There were 3 lights along one side, and appeared to be flying slightly askew. The noise that it made was a deep massive, ground rolling roar, almost like a jet plane. It flew parallel to us as we stood in the backyard, watching and it veered off to the right until it was out of our line of sight.

This looked like a spherical object, standing still, flashing green and red, and then occasionally just red. We saw it for 5 minutes total, including the time it was hovering out of sight. When it started to hover away, the flashing lights turned pure blood red.

On 1/15/2015, at approximately 1311 hrs., while standing in the backyard of my residence in Whittier, California, I happened to look up, and facing to the north and about 11 o’clock, with clear blue sky and no clouds, I began to observe what appeared to be a flock of approximately 20-25 geese traveling due east in a V flying formation from my left to right side at approximately 1,500-2,000 feet in altitude. As I continued to watch I tried to identify exactly what type of birds I was observing. While squinting, I was able to make out white wings with black on the tips. As I continued watching their flight I began to notice several oddities, (1), the flight seemed to be moving at a speed too fast for geese in flight, (2), I also noticed that the wings on all the objects were not moving at all during the entire flight of the formation, (3), there wasn't any noise as they passed directly overhead, (4), I did not observe a head, neck, or tail to the bird/object, but then noticed that the main body of the objects were perfectly round with a silver translucence color such as a balloon. My next thought was just that, a string of balloons with wings held together by a string. As I continued to watch the formation it was starting to become obscured by the house roof, so I immediately walked to the front of the house and resumed watching the formation, when at this time the entire formation stopped and ‘all’ the objects broke from the V-formation and began to do random irregular circular movements in all directions. At this moment I briskly walked about 15 feet to the front door of the house and yelled to both of my daughters (19 and 16 years old) to come out to see what I was watching. Upon both daughters stepping outside and standing next to me I pointed out the objects still doing random movements while still in one spot. While this continued I ran into the garage and grabbed my small binoculars from my roll along tool box and returned to the driveway next to my girls and started viewing this event th! rough them. About 30-45 seconds later, all the objects stopped their respective random movements and began moving again due east and formed back into a V-formation at their original speed of approximately 125-150 mph. As all three of us watched them travel eastward, I then observed a private aircraft (Cessna) appear from a northeast direction flying towards us and then began a hard left turn, exposing the full underside profile of the plane which then leveled out and headed directly towards the objects in the V-formation. As the Cessna approached the main V formation 2-3 of the objects from the right side of the V-formation broke off and began traveling due south with the Cessna, making a corrected turn to the right and pursuing the 2-3 objects which seemed to be a little faster. About 10-15 seconds went by as we watched the main formation starting to disappear to the east when I tried to relocate the Cessna and the 2-3 objects I then observed the objects make a 90 degree left turn a! nd resume heading due east in the same direction as the main formation with the Cessna also making a steep left turn in pursuit. Within approximately 15-25 seconds both the plane and objects had blended into the horizon. In disbelief as to what I had just witnessed I went into the house and sat at the laptop and pulled up a phone number and made two attempts to call Fullerton airport, both calls went to voice mail. I called Riverside Airport and spoke to the airport manager which showed some interest. I also called Whittier police dispatcher which had no calls of the sighting. I called ABC news, nothing. I called Whittier Daily news, nothing. At this time it seems only my girls and I had seen this event to date. It was at this time I returned to the laptop and began any searches of sightings and came across the Nat’l UFO Reporting Center which advised me to follow up with a written report of the incident, as well as my daughters. Please be advised that a drawing of the objects sighted will be made available. At this present time, I would not mind having contact with a representative or Peter Davenport. We spoke via telephone with the witness, and we found him to be both objective, and sober-minded, in his description of the event. We suspect that he is an excellent, and reliable, witness. PD

My husband,daughter were walking in our neighborhood. We noticed 3 orange lights in triangle formation flying from southern sky towards us level. At first they looked like helicopter lights. However, as they neared us, one at a time each light headed straight up and disappeared. 4th light followed closely behind the three and like the first three, flew up and disappeared. Lights did not blink and there was no sound. Had enough time to discuss what we saw and disappointed that none of us had a cell phone to capture it!
