i live in modesto california it was at 9:00 pm 8-13-2015 i went outside to smoke a cigarette when i seen a light coming from the sky then moments later i seen what looks and sounds like electric ball that turns on and then off its in the neighbor tree. its something i haven't seen what could it be weird

We were stargazing and looking for meteors in the early morning hours. We had seen a couple satellites pass over, when suddenly in the distance there were two lights that were very dim, then grew in brightness. They moved like a satellite, as you could tell they were very far away, but they had no blinking lights of any kind. I'm an avid stargazer and have no trouble whatsoever telling the difference between satellites and anything else. They appeared in the north. They were two lights, perfectly in sync, about a thumbs distance apart when you hold your arm out in front of you. They were so synced I began to think it was part of the same object-if so, it would have had to be HUGE. The leading light stayed the same amount of brightness for about 15 seconds, but the second light became VERY bright. Easily the brightest thing in the sky. The other two in my group all stood up to try to get a better view. And the. It was gone. The second light went out completely! , and the first gradually dimmed until it was out of our field of view. It was not an Iridium Flare, and two satellites do not follow that close together in perfect sync in orbit. I've never seen anything like it, and stil can't figure out what it was.

It was an orange fireball looking thing that started off very bright and dimmed as it moved a crossed (sic. across) the sky until it was no longer visible. Probably some kind of meteor since there was a meteor shower tonight.

Looked like a star moving slowly across the sky, it moved straight then moved in s series of small U shapes. This was repeated randomly, it was very high and moved through the Big Dipper. I thought perhaps a satellite but I could not understand what could be moving like that at that altitude. Not sure if it's related but soon after I lost sight of it a fast moving airplane crossed the sky in the same direction, it moved extremely quickly but at regular airplane altitude

I was on my balcony when I noticed a white translucent UFO orb. It then appeared to glow and float. I was able to film it until it eventually disappeared. There were a few others I was watching before that, but they would not show up on my iPhone camera. I uploaded the footage into iMovie. I was able to slow it down and zoom in. I was facing the Eastern sky and was able to see the Milky Way, Andromeda Galaxy, Pegasus, Pleiades, etc. As I was looking on the NW side of the Perseus Constellation I saw what appeared to me to be a comet. It was heading towards the constellation, approximately 7 deg away from it. What I viewed was about the size of a softball, oval shaped, green in color, and it had a tail. I do not believe it was a meteor or an alien craft. I am an avid amateur astronomer who has seen many comets over the years; Hyakatuke, Halleys, Hale-Bopp, to name a few. Therefore, I do believe I know a comet when I see one. Also, I have viewed lots of other celestial sights, such as the Beehive, the Double Cluster by Cassieopeia, Andromeda Galaxy, Great Orion Nebula, etc.. We spoke via telephone with the witness, and he sounded to us to be quite eloquent and sober-minded. We suspect that he is an excellent witness. PD

I stepped outside through my garage (I live in an apartment, so the garage leads to the back into a parking lot) to check if my cat was around, when I look to the left, I see a really bright flash moving super fast to the left through the nightsky into nothing. Just like a shooting star, but it seemed a whole lot bigger and as if it went from one door to another through the sky. It appeared, moved really fast throught the sky, maybe an inch or two from my distance, then disappeared. This only lasted about 2-3 seconds and I couldn't really make a shape out of it, it just seemed like when somebody moves a light really fast in complete darkness, the way it draggs to the way they move it, except it vanished instantly shortly after I had seen it. I then waited in case I would see something else, but unfortunately that was the end of it. This occurred around 23:56 on August 11th, 2015. I had not checked the time, had it occurred to me, I would have. My brother had yelled to me from inside, that is when I checked the time and it was 23:58, so I assume it was a few minutes before that. I am not in any way making any of this up, it is for whomever reads this to decide what they think of it. I simply couldn't make any logical explanation out of it, it surely could not have been a plane due to the size, speed and brightness of it. In the end, it could be my brain playing tricks on me, but I truly don't think that.

Thanks for this service. Surroundings: Goleta Beach State Park, between 10:10 pm PST and perhaps 10:30 – not sure of the exact time. (No watch.) This park is on the ocean, and also within approx. 1 or 2 miles of the local airport. I was facing the ocean, which is southerly here, looking towards the west. I was on a bicycle and riding slowly. There was – I’m not sure now – I believe a small plane behind me; it was headed out toward the ocean, away from the airport, which is in the northern direction from the beach and the ocean. I believe this plane had flashing lights. Suddenly, directly above the horizon and relatively near - a bright light came into view. It was travelling at an unusual speed – not extremely fast and yet…steady, i.e., not slow. This light flashed on very bright and NOT on a plane. It then went out. It then – within seconds – came on again. And then…went out again. This was from my left to my right – it travelled. And also, it was headed north to south, towards the ocean. At first I thought the lights from the small plane had illuminated a seagull. But it could not possibly have been. It was flying too fast, and it was emitting its own light. Then, I thought perhaps it was a comet. However, it went out – which may have been like a comet. But then it came on again. And then went out again. This happened the night before last night. I was tired and did not have your call in number at home, when I arrived home. Also, my tendency was to explain it away. However, at the time, I kept telling myself. “Look – this is different. You have seen something that you don’t know what it is.” Also, the lights from the plane…I don’t think they could have lit up a seagull. Also, it was a little too fast for a seagull. To me, it was completely anomalous. So, I made a note to write to you. Unfortunately, I didn’t keep all of the details in my mind. There was no visible craft – but it was its own light. Anyway, if it was an object – such as a small meteor – I don’t understand how it could have gone out and then turned on again. It was just not normal. Thank you.

Mother and adult son witnessed 3 orange glowing orbs hovering in night sky over area which is in front of Mt. Hamilton, vincinity of East San Jose area. We were on the top of the East Palo Alto IKEA parking garage, preparing to leave, when I commented on peculiarity of the formation of lights sighted. I am a school teacher, and at first glance, thought the lights may have been planes incoming to one of our 3 major Bay Area airports, however, the lights hovered, did not move in normal gliding pattern of aircraft, and after a minute or so, one orb slowly rose and moved to right above other two orbs. At first they created an isosceles type triangle, then as one orb moved on top, it created a scalene type triangle. After watching for a few minutes one orb faded out and disappeared only to flash back on a few seconds later. The lights were not of constant brightness but glowed brighter and dimmer as they hovered in the slowly changing triangle. We needed to leave on 10! 1 South, so asked mother if she still saw them. she said yes as I was driving. The at that time had moved into a straight line. We stopped for doughnuts at Krispy Kreme @ Mountain View and did not see lights when we stopped. As we got back onto 85 North the lights reappeared over the Saratoga area above the mountain range there. I again determined that they did not appear to be regular aircraft due to the nature of their movement and how they glowed orange with changing intensity of brightness and how they would glow out and come back to light.

The object was slowly moving away from me in a NNE direction at about the speed of a jet airplane, but seemed likely to be at a lower altitude than would be typical of such a craft. Its appearance was extremely unusual and not at all typical of a conventional manmade aircraft or satellite. It was small enough in size at what seemed to be a far distance of at least several miles away such that it briefly blinked from behind each line, before reappearing, similar to a star or satellite. However, it was large enough that I could tell it was off-round in shape and a hazy orange in color, intensely bright in the center, and fuzzy on the edges. The color of orange in a pitch black sky combined with the cloudy hue of color and imperfect shape impressed me as being unnatural and not manmade. I have never seen anything like it.

Saw missile like launch of 2 objects. Looked like missiles. Hung in the sky for a long time before night fall. Low on sunset horizon. Watched it and then took sight of aircraft at same time. Either this was a coincidence or the missile was an aircraft that then flew east. Used high power binoculars until losing sight of craft over east horizon. Weird.

We were driving on route 71 toward corona thru chino hills when my son asked what were the two green lights outside his window. There were two lights spaced similarly to where plane lights are but instead of red and white they were bright green. After a few moments the two lights expanded to 3 and the 3rd light was white. The lights were in a straight line formation. When the white light appeared the green lights changed to red. Once the two lights turned red the 3rd light turned red and then all lights started flashing. It was so abnormal that we submitted a note to the local TV station to see If others reported the same.

Back in 1971, I experienced an encounter which I would be willing to discuss further, but since then, my eyes have been fixed on the sky's. Then again just the other day while driving home from work I noticed this strange "puffy" cloud formation that resembled a path for several miles. At first I thought it was a Chemtrail but it was too low. As I looked longer and harder, something looked strange so I pulled off the road to take a picture. It appeared to be something blurry moving within this cloud formation! It didn't make a sound but did appear to be an object, possibly cloaked or something. If you blow the picture up you will see a strange pattern that almost appears like a fingerprint forming an object within a thin red line that I drew. This sighting may not be as exciting or convincing as what happened to me 45 years ago but very strange never the less. I will be sending a picture of the cloud event and a PhotoShopped image of what I witnessed in 1971.

I saw a UFO over Burbank Studios. I was walking outside a studio building and saw a daytime star overhead, but I think it was a triangle shape, or maybe rectangular slightly. It had real bright lights making it look like a star at first glance. It was really far up, I think. It was just hovering above not moving much. Earlier that day there was someone sky writing in the sky the word Compton. Lots of people saw that! Weird cause this is Burbank. On Aug. 5, 2015, my partner and I were traveling from LA to San Francisco. My partner was driving, and I was in the passanger seat. When we were on 1-5, heading north, about 60 miles south of the exit for highway 152, we saw a strange aircraft to our left. In this area, there were orchards to each side of I-5 with nothing else in sight, and it was pitch black except for the lights of other cars, and the lights of this aircraft. When we first spotted it, it was north west of us, flying south. It seemed quite far away. We watched it for a few minutes, and it looked like two bright white lights. When it was just about parallel with our car, it turned towards I-5, and started flying directly toward our car. Once turned, we saw three lights that got bigger as they got closer. It took about a minute or two to reach I-5. At that point it was close enough to see that it was very low, flying just feet above the trees in the orchard. It flew across the freeway, just feet above, and in front of, our car. Once it got to the other side of I-5, it flew about 20 yards into the orchard to our right, and turned again. It flew north along side our car for about 30 seconds before it turned again, flying back over I-5, this time just above and behind our car. At this time we lost sight of it.

We were headed Northbound on Highway 880 at around 930pm on September 5, 2015 as I noticed about 8-10 strange lights in a zig zag formation in the sky as we approached the Winton exit. The lowest object was about 50 feet above the fence line and they were evenly spaced about 50 feet above one another. The strange lights were just hovering there with no movement and were circular colored orbs with no sound. (I thought someone was doing fireworks). As we continued to drive Northbound I could see the lights in the distance still in the sky as I looked back. There was heavy traffic being a Saturday night so I know we were not the only ones who saw this spectacular event. We decided to exit the freeway to turn back around to see more but and the lights had disappeared in less than five minutes. I am so disappointed I was too excited to grab my camera because it was definitely something out of this world.
