I submitted a report earlier but have since found a reasonable explanation from a fellow camper at the same campground, when I posted it on social media: “ As I was leaving Saturday at 10:30 I saw a group of people launching one of those “memorial” hot air mini balloons that you light a fire on a pan suspended under a paper “balloon” over by the little pond. Sounds like that’s what you saw.”

Sullivan, Ohio, Saturday July 18, 10:31 PM. Sighting occurred while sitting on the deck at our camper on a partly cloudy night. We saw a roundish, glowing, orange ball glide across the sky from south to north. It moved with the silence, steadiness, and speed of a satellite but it was definitely below the clouds and visible to the horizon, where we lost sight of it due to trees. It was a soft orange glow; easily visible but not bright, just a glowing ball of fire gliding across the sky. My husband, the typical naysayer who doesn’t believe anything he cannot see for himself said “Well, it took almost 60 years but there it is; I don’t know what that was.”

I have documented moving lights in the sky for May June and July of 2020. These sightings are in the middle of the night, between 2-4 am. They are over the rural are of Marysville Ohio. There is always one bigger and brighter than the rest, which form a line. They move in a hovering motion.

Past couple weeks thought I was looking at the space station at night while working in my shop all night. Tonight I walked out and seen it fly with great speed from western sky through the northern sky and settle in the Eastern southerly sky. I sat outside recording it and observing with binoculars till it slowly faded away as if going further out of the atmosphere. Would like to know if it's something lik e a SpaceX lunch as I have seen it several nights and wouldn't be surprised if I see it again. Was under the impression it was space station untill it moved with great speeds.

My 15 yr old daughter and my 11 year old niece were walking in the Evergreen cemetery around 9:15 pm with a friend of theirs. They seen a red light approaching from above some pine trees. My daughter turned around and it turned bright red and hovered over a dirt pile right i front of her. She started screaming at my neice to turn around and when she did the object spun in circles and got brighter. They told their friend to look and when he raised his phone to take a picture it was gone. They all started running towards the drive in the cemetery to go home when they seen my neices dad coming to pick them up. They were crying and really scared and he asked what was wrong. When the kids told him, he said he seen the red light in the sky too and wandered what the hell it was...my daughter told me that when she seen it that her arm went numb and she started to run...my niece said her leg went numb and she started to run also. My neices mom lives in a rural area! about 10 miles from st paris. And when my neice told her about what she seen...her mom said she seen a red object circling around her home too.

Dear Mr. Davenport, I was driving home, East, on Ohio SR 32, and I know that it was 8:41 pm when the incident began because I have a clock in the center of my dashboard. It is important to note for you, sir, that this area was about 50 miles south by south-east of Wright-Patterson AFB as the crow flies. I was driving under clear, blue skies with the sun in my rear view still 5-10 degrees above the western horizon. Off to the East, some 30-40 miles directly in front of me, the entire eastern sky was filled with a storm front of continuous, towering, thunderheads of bright white clouds, highly illuminated by the bright sun in the clear sky behind me. Myself, having flown for business numerous times via commercial airlines, I could see that these thunderheads extended up several thousand feet for which I believe an airplane would have needed to fly at about 38,000 feet to remain in the clear as from my own past experiences flying through and above these type storms. Slightly south of due East, one thunderhead significantly exceeded all the others in its altitude because there appeared to be a significant and massive disturbance within this particular cloud. I can only estimate, but to the best of my ability, I truly believe that this disturbance measured at its center and in its rotation to be some 15-20 miles in diameter. And this disturbance also extended itself to the very top and center of this cloud, as the cloud seemed to be ejecting a thin, circular translucent vapor in a smaller circle, perfectly center above the main disturbance beneath and no more than one-fourth to one-sixth the diameter of the main disturbance. And it did not appear to be any natural air or storm-front rotation from wind shear as the rotation was to perfect to be completely natural. Nor did it seem to be generated by the storm front itself as the rest of the front and the other thunderheads were moving in a smooth pattern toward the East by East-Southeast. The swirling cloud genuinely appeared to outline the form of a massive, disc shaped object which seemed to use the trailing edge to conceal itself just in front of the opaque whiteness of the concealing cloud cover. This swirling continued with this thunderhead for at least 15-18 miles as I now chased after this leading storm. I was driving right at 70 MPH attempting to close in on the disturbance. I cannot say exactly why, but I was certain that I was about to see something significant or perhaps even spectacular emerging from this cloud of concealment. And then I saw it! Not the 15-20 mile diameter object I had hoped to witness, but instead a flat-grey disc above the storm front, but just to the right of the smaller, upper disturbance. This disc had climbed out of the main disturbance and wa! s climbing very slowly at about 30 degrees above horizontal. The disc was not perfectly parallel to the horizontal, but if one were to draw a straight line through the disc, from edge to edge, I would estimate that the straight line would be almost exactly 30 degrees to the horizontal. And then, the disc leveled off, and seemed to be moving with the cloud in the same relative position and direction, but now out of its concealment. Also, Mr. Davenport, as I stated previously, I had several encounters with disc-shaped objects in the skies when I was younger, the last time being when I was only 17. I am 55 now, and in all those previous encounters, the disc was bright silver in coloration, as though it were made of polished stainless steel or bright, new, silver aluminum. This disc, however, is the first I have ever seen which appeared to be flat grey, what I might call automotive, primer grey. And even though it was not the 15-20 mile disc I had hoped to see, this disc ! was nonetheless, at least five times the size in diameter as c! ompared to any jetliner I have ever seen. I grew up here and have lived here my entire life about 65 miles south by southeast of Wright-Patterson AFB. I have attended the Dayton, Ohio airshows numerous times, and I have had a fascination with the skies since I can remember. As a child it was not uncommon to count 12-14 jetliners in the visible skies here in southern Ohio at any one time on a clear day. And I have also witness those same planes flying over and above similar clouds, given me a relative perspective I can easily recall from memory. So, when I state the relative size, I speak with some confidence. The time I witnessed the actual, flat-grey disc was for no more than 3-4 minutes. I was trying to get to an are about 2-3 miles east of Winchester, Ohio, where I might exit my car and video it with my camera, unobstructed from trees and power lines. Unfortunately, as easily as the disc emerged from the cloud and from concealment, remaining perfectly horizontal now, it m! oved back into the cloud cover. This whole time, the larger disturbance too, had also continued, just in front of the trailing edge of the cloud. I think I also need to note here that the cloud was bright white when I first noticed the disturbance, but as time went by, this massive cloud changed color from bright white, to light orange, to amber, to red, to lavender and finally to the dark grey of an active storm front. I could so no lights through the cloud, nor did I see any lights on the flat-grey disc at any time during the encounter. I can only attribute, by logic and reason, the change in coloration of the cloud to the setting sun behind me. Now, this disturbance also slowly dissipated until the trailing edge was just as smooth as the other clouds beside it within the storm front. I shall attempt to draw up an illustration of my experience while it is still fresh in my memory, but it may take me a few days or up to week to get it to you, sir, as I have a full wo! rk load at this time. Thank you for recording my ramblings, a! nd good luck in your quest for truth!

Took the trash out around 1:10am, was about to get my telescope ready to view Saturn but noticed a light that was slowly flashing in the northern sky an amber to red color. I watched it for a few minutes, noticed it was staying in the same position. Called for my girlfriend, she came out, we tried to get video but by that point it started tracking East, still flashing but the lights were dimmer the further it was getting from us. It was completely silent, no chon-trail. Whole event lasted around 10 minutes.

At 7:00 pm EST on 7/5/20 my wife and I and our 2 kids (2 and 10 years old) were outside in the backyard playing. My 2-year-old who has never done this before laid down flat on her back the deck. She looked at me and said lay down Daddy. So strange but I did and as soon as I did I noticed a white circular or oblong object in the Southern sky. This object did not move, it seemed to be hovering about 15-20,000 feet. There were planes in the sky at the time and they were much higher. This craft was viewed through binoculars and it was more round and translucent. While we were looking at this the 10-year-old said look there is another one. This object was much closer and in the northern sky. This is the craft that we were able to photograph. It did not move much at all. There was no visible wind and it did not appear to be a balloon. As soon as the new object appeared the southern object seemed to move more south or increase elevations and leave the view. I ran next door and got my neighbor to see it as well thought the binoculars and he was awe struck. The object moved from the north sky to the south and then disappeared. I checked my app sky view and the objects were not planets or stars. I also took a screen shot of all flights that were overhead and non-matched.

I also contacted you on a previous occasion on August 11th of 2018. At around 9:30pm my wife was watching our dogs out back in the yard when she observed a strange metallic half sphere shaped object approaching from the west. She quickly asked me what the **** is that. I looked and said I did not know. I then picked up my phone and took pictures of the craft. I tried to take a video, but as soon as I tried to change the settings it let off a spectacular flash of red light and sped off back to the west at what was an impossible speed. It was out of sight within a manner of at least a second. Thirdly, my first sighting in Obetz occurred around 3:00am in 2016. My son 18 at the time and I were setting out back with my telescope trying waiting for Saturn to come into view. While we were setting in the lawn chairs a large boomerang shaped object came slowly crossing in front of us. It was silent with a mother of pearl glowing color. It had a sphere rotating in and out of the structure at the rear of the object in the middle of the v portion of the boomerang. It had no windows and was upright each point of the tips one pointing toward the sky the other toward the ground. We both were dumbfounded and could not believe what we saw as it passed before our eyes. I estimated it about 400 yards away at about a 45-degree angle from where we sat and from top to bottom around 75ft front to back about 20ft. He asked me what it was I said I had no clue and I hoped it was one of ours. Immediately we both ran back in the house into the kitchen. I told him to draw what he saw and ! I would go into the living room and draw what I saw with no collaboration to our story. When he was done we both compared what we saw and it was exactly the same drawing.

Watched what appeared to be part of a firework spark but the object continued to run parallel across the night sky. It then began to move away. It almost looked like a candle in a bag type object but went from red to orange and the way it moved across the sky was too fast for it to be that.

Hilliard/Columbus, OH
This is the 3rd time I have seen these lights around Columbus, OH. On July 4, 2020, shortly before 10:00pm my wife and I noticed several orange glowing/flickering lights in the distance. We live in Hilliard (city just outside Columbus) and noticed these lights in the southern sky above the horizon. I assume they were several miles away (maybe coming from around Grove City). We initially saw 2 during the fireworks everyone was setting off. We then saw a few more lights join (looked almost like they were taking off from somewhere in the distance). I can say for certain they were not helicopters or drones. They moved unlike anything I have seen (aside from the other 2 times I saw these lights), kind of moving in and out of a triangular formation or just meandering. Occasionally, 1 or 2 would flicker and disappear, only to reappear a few seconds later. In total, we saw about 7-9. My wife got a brief video on her phone but was a little shaken up and went back in! side. I know drones can move around in different directions, but these would have had to have had very bright lights (a little brighter than Jupiter in the night sky). Also, they eventually went up into the sky and disappeared. I have seen videos on youtube of these same kind of lights in Cincinnati.

There was a loud roar for several minutes outside and when I stepped onto the deck I saw several lights in the sky. I called my wife and my son out to look at what was in the sky and we saw approximately 5 bright lights moving at different angles at very high speeds moving in toward each other at one point in the sky. One moved at a vertical angle and when one crossed it's path it made a zero turn and gave chase very quickly. Within a few minutes they all moved outward in different directions in the sky.

My family and I were coming back from a trip to Iowa. A half hour out from Columbus on I70 I spotted two orange lights just sitting there. So I thought maybe a higher pole or something, but it was really high. I tried to figure out what it was for 10-15 minutes before my dad said “hey guys, y’all see those orange lights over there, whats that?” I said maybe a pole, idk I’ve been trying to figure out what it is for about 10 minutes now. He said it was about 1000 to a couple thousand feet in the air and that it couldn’t be a pole. So we watched it for a couple minutes.... which my daughter and nephew at this time saw it..... and then it started moving. The other orange light we thought was moving too but it could have been Mars because later I looked it up. Anyway, it started moving and I grabbed my phone to try and record and it was not moving in a straight line. It was moving all over to where i couldn't really record good.... Keep in mind we were also drivi! ng on a highway, but with my naked eye i could see the it was kinda zig zagging. So then it went over the highway over our van and i saw (with my naked eye) 6-9 orange rectangular lights close together forming a triangle on the bottom of the craft. I also remember seeing a red light towards the end. I have the video and also slowed the video down. And i have also screenshot the still parts i thought you could really see what i saw.

I heard what I thought was a normal aircraft, but very loud. I searched the sky and saw nothing, then suddenly saw an object moving amazingly fast. I could not easily track it with my eyes, then it turned at an at least 45 degree angle with no slow down, then disappeared. It moved too quickly to get video on my phone (I was reaching for it while trying to not lose the visual).

So around 730 p.m. Jun 7th 2020. I decided to take my dog and telescope down by the rocks on lake erie. I then set my telescope up and began filming the horizon. I eventually came across something I thought was a refinery but now know its a huge rock with trees growing from it. So as im filming a square like object with rounded edges appears. It was moving around the speed of a boat maybe faster but it seemed to glide effortlessly about 10 to 15 feet above the water. The square had a dark outline in a cube shape but with rounded edges and was see through except the edges that outlined it. When it passed in front of the rock the outline seemed to darken as if the outlines were transparent or something. It hovered past the rock and about a mile further then eventually faded into the horizon.
