Corte Madera, CA
I saw a huge glowing red disc-/cigar-shaped object manuevering back and forth in front of this hill on the east side of Corte Madera. This was a real craft and I saw it through high powered binoculars perfectly clear. It was a bright cherry red and completely lit up like a glowing light bulb. It had no lights on it, there was no haze around it and the whole craft was totally luminous. I got an incredible look at it. even though I was about 3 or 4 miles away, I saw everything. It came from over the top of this hill and abruptly stopped near the right top of this hill. I specifically noticed that when this craft was moving it was a bright cherry red and when it slowed down and hovered, it changed to a dull orange brownish color. This craft dropped way down on this hillside almost landing on the grass and I could see the top of this object. It had some kind of a slanted curved dome like structure on the top and once again when it slowed down it turned a burnt ora! nge color. This object disappeared and re-appeared several times in various locations on the west side of this hill before it finally travelled from left to right and went in between 2 sets of hills at really low level and headed toward Mill Valley and Tiburon. I was looking down at this object from up in the hills toward the west and I could see it perfectly clear from the top and from the side through the binoculars. The night was perfectly clear and the size of this thing and the luminous glowing of this object was unbelievable. I believe that other people might have also seen this as it was near the 101 Freeway and this incident happened at about 7:30 to 7:40 P.M., I wanted to mention that I had a "cluster of lights" sighting on 11-10-16 with 2 other witnesses. We saw a group of 8 to 15 orbs of light in San Rafael near the Bay. I am mentioning this because you have other San Rafael sighting being reported on 11-09 and 11-11-16 by independent witnesses.

Santa Cruz, California, USA 95060 Approximately 4:00pm (16:00) Dec 3, 2016. The Place and Time, Weather, Orb Count and Equipment I was standing in my back yard on the Westside of Santa Cruz, California, December 3rd, 2016. This approximately places me at the Santa Cruz Lighthouse on the cliffs overlooking the Monterey Bay. It was approximately 4:00pm (having checked my watch a few minutes later at 4:05pm). The sky was mostly clear, and sunset was about an hour away; though the sun, close to the horizon in the west, was hidden behind hazy cloud cover, which I believe I have now identified as wispy Cirrus or Cirrostratus clouds. These clouds covered about half the sky in the west, breaking up overhead. A couple of wispy Cirrus (I believe) clouds lay 40 degrees over the horizon, East by North East, opposite the low sun, and it was from one of these I saw three bright orbs, seemingly lights, appear, heading South, to the right. They traversed the distance from my first sight of them to out of sight behind various trees at about East by Southeast, so I had a view of them in the sky for about 45 degrees of the horizon. They traversed this distance in about 15 seconds. At this time, I called for my girlfriend to get my glasses from inside, my astigmatism causing the first sighting to look distorted and fuzzy. Bringing them out immediately, she also left and returned briefly with a pair of binoculars (Sans & Streiffe #889 Viking, 8x30mm, field 10& #730;). We waited for a bit, and then at approximately 4:06pm we saw another single light orb leave the same cloud, heading in the same southerly direction of the others. This too passed out of sight in about 15 seconds. The next 25 minutes were spent in their entirety by myself scanning the sky for more orbs/lights, and my girlfriend coming outside intermittently and surprisingly being present for most of the orbs. At no time during this period did I think to take more than one image with my phone, as its picture quality is notoriously awful. The one I took at approximately 4:04pm was not of orbs, but of the first of two clouds that the orbs apparently came from. This was for reference, in hopes of understanding how high up they were by the cloud type. As I mentioned before, I thought these were Cirrus, but they may be medium level clouds. They lacked any of the “fluffy” features found in low level clouds though. The clouds were clearly either obscuring the orbs as the orbs flew behind them, or in fact were the source of the orbs. I should say, every time we saw any orbs during this event, they either appeared from behind/within the clouds, or as I'll mention later, materialized next to exi! sting orbs. Every couple of minutes from 4:06pm until approximately 4:15pm, a single orb, or two orbs would appear from within/behind one of the two clouds (whichever was approximately in the position of the first sighting) traveling South, to our right, for about 15 seconds until passing out of sight from our narrow, 45˚ field of view. At the end of this period we waited another 5 minutes until it was about 4:20pm without any further sightings in that area of the sky. My girlfriend headed inside again and I stayed to watch the whole sky now. At approximately 4:21pm, looking directly above me, at the zenith of the sky, I saw the brightest of the orbs, a single orb, also heading South, materialize from within a high cloud bank: these clouds I have researched and I suggest they are Cirrostratus. Because of the place in the sky it arrived, this orb remained in my view for longer than 20 seconds, being lost to sight behind trees to the south. From 4:00pm to 4:21pm, both my girlfriend and I guessed that we had seen about 1 dozen orbs, with two groups of three, two groups of two, and the rest single orbs. The Orbs, Their Properties, and the Binoculars With my glasses on and the Binoculars well adjusted, I watched the orbs singly or in their small flights of two and three. The first group of three, though I didn't have my glasses or the binoculars then, flew in a loose pattern, one ahead of the others by twice the distance from the second and third. The two that trailed followed at perfect distance, but approximately half way through their short 15 seconds in my field of view, one of the rear objects overflew the other, switching positions. This appeared to be an smooth, non-linear acceleration and deceleration. As this was the first sighting, and I didn't have on my glasses to be sure, I thought perhaps they were stunt planes far up, and one was performing a maneuver. The rapid change of location in the formation however made me second guess my assumption. I'll state here, I have never before seen a UFO; that is, a saucer, ship, craft or other phenomenon which I took to be extraterrestrial or black-ops in origin. I am, however, keenly interested in the subject of UFO phenomena, and I have researched how these assumed extra terrestrial and/or government vehicles and phenomena behave and move. What I saw in the first sighting from one of the three orbs immediately alerted me to very improbable behavior for a conventional aircraft. With my glasses on and the binoculars in hand, the third or fourth sighting of orbs, a pair, were clearly visible. At first, only a single orb flew Southward from the second of the two drifting clouds, but at near half its distance in my field of view, another object appeared next to it; without a snap, more of a quick “fade in”. It was flying in unison with the first orb, but unlike the first orb, or any of the other orbs seen in this report, it was not totally a ball of light, but had physical definition. At a distance it looked less bright, and seemed to have a physical form. My perception (through the binoculars) was that it was a dark, hard, physical object, but with a glowing orb obscuring its center. From my vantage point, given the angle from which I was viewing it, it looked like a glowing orb with two rounded “wings” or structures coming from either side of it, (as the physical parts were extending from the light orb perpendicular to the object's flight path, and seemingly level with the ground plane). On second consideration, I think I was seeing either an oval shaped craft flying parallel to its short axis, or more likely, a disc at an oblique angle. Either way, it had a bright light in the center which obscured all but the outer thirds of it. This was all in very small detail on the less-than-powerful binoculars, but allowed for at least some observation. Like the first observation at approximately 4:00pm, this darker, “physical” object changed attitudes from behind to in-front-of the other orb in the flight, though the latter never cha! nged speed or direction. The rest of the dozen orbs before 4:21pm were regular in their appearance every couple of minutes; appearing in the same part of the sky to the East by North East, stable in their aspect of bright orb without physical form, straight travel paths, 15 seconds in view in a 45˚ field of view of the sky, at presumedly high altitudes. At 4:21pm, the last of the orbs that I saw in this report was the orb that passed directly overhead. It, unlike the others, seemed to strobe in light intensity over a cycle of a few seconds. Perhaps growing bright then dim in 3 or 4 seconds. I was careful to consider whether I thought it was the orb passing within cloud layers, a light (totally unlike an aircraft's multiple lights and colors), or the glow of the haze-covered sun reflecting off of a tumbling object. I felt that an oscillating light was the best impression. Other Observations in the Area, and Thoughts on Speed During this half hour that I stood in my back yard and made the sighting observations, I also decided to note as much as I could about the normal everyday sky and its more mundane occupants. I heard something quite loud right over my house and ran to the window. I saw a large unidentified craft flying pretty low and slow. It was about 300 feet up in the air and I could not see its color. It was flying south and in a straight line but then started flying sideways. It soon went out of sight.

Fairfield is the home to Travis Air Force Base. Around 7 pm on 11/29/2016, I saw a large airplane making a steep banked turn. A few minutes later I saw what I thought was a smaller plane doing the same, only less banked. What struck me as unusual was the steep angle of the banking and the low position to the ground. Approximately an hour later, I’m standing outside in Fairfield, CA, having a smoke when I saw what I thought was a boomerang-shaped flock of white birds flying east over Suisun Bay. As they moved east, over Fairfield, it looked more like a giant scarf floating on the wind. As I discounted the scarf theory, and wondered what it could be, it looked more like a giant dark bird flying in a V shape. Only the size was too big to be any bird. Some stars were visible and I could make out the ‘wing’ eclipse one of the stars. As it traveled east, it blended into the dark sky. There were no lights or sounds coming from that direction, and the breeze was minimal. I watched it glide by for over a minute. At times it reminded me of a 30-foot piece of fabric floating in the air. As it passed by (at a 40 degree angle from where I was standing), it was larger, darker, and more v-shaped … if it was closer I would have guessed it was a bird gliding by with wings in a ‘v’ shape. But it was LARGE, and quiet. There were no airplane noises or anything. It continued east until I couldn’t see it for the darkness of the sky. It did not appear to head towards Travis AFB to the south, but rather towards Vacaville to the east. Surely someone else saw it. What was it?

driving my car to the store and looked up to see a chevron shaped craft overhead. approximately 300 feet in the air with blinking lights on the two ends. very low and going very slow. I stopped in the middle of the street to watch where it was headed but it was too slow and I was sitting in traffic. Others had to see it. I then drove to the store and bought something. I was in the store for about 5 minutes and drove back to my house. The craft was still overhead, a little further away but it was hovering in mid air. I then ran back inside my home to report this. I have seen quite a few unidentified objects recently and wonder if it has anything to do with the power station across the street from my house.

Hudge light in s west sky comes out just before dark,staying in the sky up to 4-5hrs. Sometimes it moves slightly, usually standing totaly still? On 11/26/16 around 7:30-8:00pm, we watched it go out, as it did often then turn back on, however,at this time, it shut brite light out and we could see small lights on object on as it moved in an eastern direction, almost overhead of us, when it tirned back on for a moment, before turning completly off and disappear completely from site

I live on the beach in Carlsbad CA, and have 180 degrees of unabstructed sky over the pacific ocean. I have in the last month purchased two pairs of powerful binoculars, thinking of even getting more powerful one. Also have a Canon 80d which has a telescopic type lens, which most of the pics are from. The pics from Nov 13th when reviewing my pics, I have still not looked at the rest of November, as I was amazed at what I already caught. I have seen the same craft I have pictured on Nov 13th I saw during the day and captured a pic of just before it vanished. I could not see the craft with my eyes, only with my binoculars but took the picture in the same direction as I viewed it and caught it. I have so many of these pictures if you want more.

On Nov. 21, 2016, my ex-spouse and myself, were walking by the Ventura, CA, walkway close to the pier when in our stargazing we noticed a brighter light in the sky. It looked like it stood still then moved and changed colors. We were watching this about 15 mins when I decided to video record it and the zoom in on it. I sent this live on Facebook for the 14 mins I recorded this phenomenon. It really gets strange from minute 7 to minute 6 when it appears to change shape. We were amazed at the few people that were walking along did not stop and I was too busy to attract anyone's attention to this because I was busy filming. After 14 mins of recording I dropped my exapouse home, then I returned, and after 7 pm, I noticed it still there. Review the video and please help me identify what this is.

Last night a beaming bright light was shining through my upstairs window. I live near the Holiday Inn in Burbank. I thought it was a movie set, but as I looked closer it was not. It looked like an oval object. A large bright light in the center, and it hurt to stare at. I tried to obstruct my view a little, and saw red flames or boxes around the bright light. It appeared to get closer, but still far away. It hung out in the sky for twenty minutes. Then it just lowered itself out of sight and never to be seen again.

i just finish smoking on the pizzo, went outside with the fellas, in all of sudden the clouds started a forming weriod shapes, in out of no were a fireball or metor came out the sky with a flashing light, a few minutes after we seen the clouds form paramid type shapes, second time in seeing usual ufo acctivity in my city NOR-CALI TO BE EXACT.. I went outside for something, and looked east and saw something just above the horizon (somewhat of a hill behind our house). It was not moving very fast at all. As it got closer it passed by almost directly above me, but I still had enough view of the side, as I was not directly below. I live near a hospital and a freeway, and often see helicopters for the hospital, the traffic news, firefighters, and police... so i'm quite familiar with how they look and the altitudes they typically fly at. The craft I saw appeared to be at or below what a police helicopter would fly at, and it was roughly the same length as one. It was metallic, and shiny (reflective) and was roughly the shape of a Manta-Ray... but on it's side. There was a small protrusion coming out of the (bottom?) and then extending toward what I would call the "back". I would say that it almost looked like a Mylar balloon, however it was more of a brass or copperish color. It was slowly rotating along a vertical axis, at a consistant speed and did not roll to the side at all, and did not pitch up or down. It simply rotated (roughly 1 revolution every 8 seconds) as it slowly passed overhead at a steady rate. After it passed over and was moving away from me, I realized I should take a photo but I didn't have my camera, or my phone with me. I ran inside, and grabbed my Canon 5D Mk2 and my 70-200mm lens but for whatever reason all of the batteries were dead (nothing else was affected like this, i'd say the dead batteries were my fault and unrelated) so I grabbed my phone... and let my daughter (only 4 at the time) know there was a UFO outside and she should come outside and look. I ran out to the driveway, and she saw it and said it looked like a manta ray (otherwise I would not have come up with how to describe it). By this time it was much further away, and had gained altitude. I started recording with my iPhone 7 Plus telephoto camera... and by this point it was pretty much just a dot in the footage, but I zoomed in, and you could somewhat see some shimmering of the light off the reflective surface, and can somewhat tell it is rotating because of the blurry dot changing shape. Watching the footage later on, it appears that the object changes direction right before I stop. Asking my daughter about it now, she does not remember the event. She said she sort of remembers going outside to see something but cannot recall any details now. I created a map of where I was, and roughly the path the craft took. Lining up where I was standing with my neighbor's roofs in the footage shows approximately where it was. I labeled points where I saw it, where I ran inside, and when I came back outside. Here is a link to the map, and I've included an image of it in the files. I'm also including a video of a 3D model that I just made of the object, trying to remember as best I can what it looked like in the files, as well as an image of the file. I have never seen anything this shape, even in UFO videos. What stood out the most was the constant stable rotation, it was silent, and had to have been at least 20ft long, maybe longer. If it was even half the size I'd just dismiss it as a large mylar balloon but there's just too much about it that doesn't supprt that. I saw no fins, wings, ports, windows, lights. It was shiney and had a sort of shimmer to it. I don't mind if someone contacts me, but I'm not sure I can remember much more than this.

I was sitting in the courtyard of my building lit by a few lights on a small walkway on a cloudy night around 8pm when I saw a number of small perfectly circular lights flying thru the clouds above the buildings where I live, opposite the mountains in San Marcos, CA. There were almost 10 to 15 of them. There were 3 or 4 of them coming together at a central point at a time, then spreading out in all different directions, and then came back together again to the center. Sometimes only 2 or 3 came together, sometimes 5 or more did. They flew around quickly; very fast, for over 30 minutes. Then they just started flying around in circles individually and not coming together anymore.

Saw bright light hoovering in sky, and over the course of a couple hours we watched about 12 or so drones flying by the object. I've never seen that many drones in my life.

First, one bright yellowish-white light pops up in sky, then quickly "falls" downward until stopping abruptly. It hovered in place for about a minute until another bright circular light popped up close to it. The second one hovered in place until a third popped up. The three were in a triangle formation for about a minute. Then the first one flew away. The other two remained still until a fourth popped up. I was walking my dog southbound on the west side of a residential street. I often stargaze when walking and was looking up at the super moon when a light caught the corner of my eye. I looked southeast and saw what appeared to be a searchlight sweeping to the west. It had a peculiar rounded diamond shape at the head but was a round light beam off into the distance behind a row of houses. It appeared to be very distant, but was low and rising as it went west, it faded away from the back and disappeared to my southwest. The beam of light was very bright, like a searchlight at a casino or car dealership, but it was very focused and dense. It disappeared after only a few seconds.
