Object started as a red speck in the darker part of the sky personally I thought it was a red star until I saw it moving then it moved closer and started leaving a trail behind it and the after 3 minutes it just disappears. (( Rocket launch. PD)

I was walking back home with my Grandma when I thought I saw a helicopter because it was so bright. I called it that, but I noticed it was going too slow to be a helicopter and too fast for a plane, additionally it was giving off a light that was large. The longer my grandma and I stared, the weirder it looked. It looked like a bright red dot with large crescent-shaped light blue tails that looked like a meteorite entering the atmosphere, but the tails were so far apart and were moving so slow I debunked it as that. I took my phone out and tried to get a photo, but it came looking blurry, I took a video and can see it somewhat better, but it soon disappears as if into thin air after a few seconds of taping. I stood there looking for it with my grandma for awhile and we tried to look for it. In the end, it had to be something akin to UFOs. Rocket launch from Vandenberg AFB. PD

One red llight, encircled by a lesser orange colored illuminated orb, moving slowly from west to east (about 70 - 80 degrees above the horizon). Appeared to be somewhat ‘tethered’ to a helicopter or small plane which just passed in the same path, possibly five lengths behind. Rocket launch from Vandenberg AFB. PD

A fireball or bright sphere crossed overhead from NW to SW for about 1 minute. There was a crescent shaped glow many times larger that followed the sphere. The sphere was in the middle and on the leading edge of this glowing crescent. The speed of travel was much slower than a meteor and seemed to be far higher than the passenger jets that are regularly seen to follow a west to east flight path to LAX. No aircraft were in sight when this incident occurred. After viewing the sphere for approximately 45 sec to 1 min, it had traveled to approximately 30 degrees above the SW horizon and then disappeared completely. I observed the sphere through 20x binoculars and it did not appear to have any vapor trail or disintegration occurring as it traveled. The crescent shape appeared to be uniform and fluorescent without ragged trailing. Both the sphere and crescent were emitting a brilliant white light during the entire event without diminishing intensity. Rocket launch from Vandenberg AFB. PD

It would slow and speed it up- when slowing, the fan shape would become taller from top to bottom above and below the light. When it would accelerate, the fan shape would compress and seem seem to trail longer behind the light instead of taller... I pointed it out to my neighbor and he also saw it. There was a light in the sky almost looked like a V it had like and aura on both sides of it, the light moved slowly and it glowed on both sides then just disappeared. Never saw anything like it before.

My friend and I saw a red light with light blue wings coming from the top and bottom. Like a bow and arrow with out the arrow. It moved slowly and when it disappeared the wings went first then the red light shined bright then went out. I recorded it on my phone but went back to look and said the videos were unavailable.

I was crossing California street, heading north on Octavia in San Francisco the night of September 21, 2017. I noticed the crescent moon in the western sky and quickly snapped a walking picture as I crossed the street. I didn't notice anything in the sky at the time I snapped the picture, nor immediately afterwards. Once I finished crossing the street, I noticed this strange object in the sky of my photo, but again, nothing was in the sky. I somehow captured this thing by chance on my phone's camera. Location is California and Octavia Sts in San Francisco, facing west. Time is 20:02pm. We suspect a lens flare. PD

Large white oval light illuminating through the clouds over north island naval base. Lights Flashed on for a few seconds then was gone flashed on again for a few seconds then were gone again Then flashed for the final time for only a split second before the light split into two brighter but smaller lights and left in opposite directions one went north and one went south disappearing immediately. No sound was heard

Now just a few minutes ago my spouse and I saw a very strange (what he considers to be a drone)and huge black winged creature now this had to be more like 40+ feet wing span very thick wings, very thick body- but like an airplane body... this first creatur! e was thin, almost transparent and clearly had a human like body attached a head, legs, and arms with claw like hands like 3 fingers and a thumb... well this object we just saw was huge, flying south and veered off to the east. we grabbed the binoculars and followed it but lost sight of it. The other creature was flying from the northwest to the southeast.

Approximately 10 bright red lights vertically in the sky towards the foothills. Extremely bright at first and faded dramatically in the first minute, then they began fading in and out alternately in the same spot for the next few minutes. Before leaving there were only 4 lights left that were fading in and out. We saw the same exact thing about a week ago at about the same time.

Saw a white, egg-shaped object shoot across the sky like a meteor, but there was no tail or vapor trail of any kind. No sonic boom either. It was travelling east of Napa on a south to north trajectory. About 2 seconds behind it another identical craft going the same speed on the same trajectory flew past. Essentially I believe I witnessed a formation of aircraft flying at hypersonic speed and their flight path would carry them pretty close to Travis AFB.

Sunday morning September 9, 2017, between 1000 hours and 1100 hours, I was working on a vehicle in my driveway, when I noticed movement in the sky to my north-west. The flash(es) caught my attention as I thought it might be an aircraft making a turn and a reflection was off of a cockpit windscreen. I watched an object at an elevation of estimated 5,000 to 8,000 feet moving from north to south. The object moved at a consistent speed and elevation. The weather was warm with full sun with a very light breeze, barely discernible from south to north, with light scattered clouds that the object moved through or behind in its track. Flashing as it moved through the sky. I was able to retrieve a pair of binoculars to get a better visual on the object. By this time my son and wife joined in the watching this unknown object and kept track of its location. The object had stopped and was now stationary in the western sky for about 5 minutes. With the binoculars, I could not discern its shape; but the top and bottom portions were flashing separately and very brightly. The object was emitting brilliant white flashes alternating from what I would describe the top half and bottom half of the object. It appeared as though the two halves were rotating independently. I was not able to determine shape. I looked away for about 10 seconds to adjust the binoculars and I lost sight of the object. My son watched it as it moved abruptly to the west an undetermined distance and it was now, from my position, lower towards the horizon. The object moved west until it was out of visual range. I was at the soccer field at California State University/Long Beach, when I noticed a small white dot in the sky not moving at all. It looked like it was very high up and did not look like anything I have ever seen before in the sky, as it was very still and was not shiny. It was next to a crescent shaped cloud (within the crest, south east from where I was), which I found interesting because I found video footage online of the same object I saw, sitting in the crest of a cloud that looked just like the one that I had seen, which also occurred in Long Beach. I spotted the object while doing sit-ups, and stared at it for about 45 seconds. I switched positions to do a different exercise and took my eyes off the object for about 5 seconds, when I looked back the object was no where to be seen. And that's when I started to actually digest what I may had just seen. I stopped my workout and scanned the area of sky I originally saw the object, for about 5-10 minutes. I was baffled that it had just disappeared so quickly after I looked away for a brief moment.
