It flew for about .5 km before disappearing. From the time of the first flash to the time it disappeared was about 3-5 seconds. ((ADDENDUM FROM WITNESS)) I was thinking the same thing. It seemed to have landed near or in Brantley Lake. Because of the lights not covering the entire area of its surface and it being visible between flash and skid I'm uncertain what it was. I have seen meteors before. Because of the similarity to a report from the same area 2 hours prior, I'm almost certain it was not a meteor. There was a barking and whining band of coyotes running from the area after we heard a coyote yelp. We were startled by this and left the area. Thank you for your response. I honestly do not feel what I saw can be as easily explained. ((END ADDENDUM))

Driving home from a friend's house, saw a circle which resembled what looked like a street light fly through the sky in an eastern direction. It was really quick, much quicker than any other flying craft I have ever seen but still very close because it was so large. Only lasted a few seconds.

I was on Coastal Hwy in South Dewey Beach, DE, heading south towards the Indian River Bridge, still some 5 miles away, and saw what looked like a shooting star. It was bright white fireball with an end tail and traveled very fast from Atlantic Ocean sky left to land or water right over Rehoboth Bay, DE. Possibly a meteor?? PD

I observed a single white light traveling south to north from my balcony. It was a pure white color and I lost sight of it even though the skyline was still visible for me. I am sure it was not the ISS as it does not travel from the south to north. It made no odd movements and continued on its path so a satellite explanation is possible. However after viewing the ISS and its speed multiple times, I can say this tracked slower than the ISS usually does. Thank you. Possible satellite?? PD

I snapped this picture from my seat on a flight from San Francisco to Atlanta. The picture was somewhere northwest of Birmingham, Alabama. I noticed it outside my window, and figured it was another airliner. After observing it a few seconds, I noticed it didn't look like another jet. I couldn't see any wings or tail fin. It was in view for maybe 20 seconds or so before it changed directions and went out of my view. I am not sure of the time. The only reason I have a rough idea of a location is because I noticed the guy beside me had his flight tracker up on his seat monitor about 3 minutes after my sighting. I was heading East, the object appeared to be heading southeast at a 45 angle to us but never seemed to get closer or farther from us unti it changed its direction to south. The object looked whitish in color, shaped almost like a blimp or a football. My best guess would be 10-20 miles away from our aircraft.

Sitting by the lake at night we saw this: 3 bright orange-ish/white lights in a triangle shape moving from west to east in the night sky. The lights were bright and object was completely silent and also moving at a very rapid pace. Initially thought it was a helicopter landing at a nearby hospital with how low it was, then I realized there was no sound at all and it was moving far too fast. All of a sudden, it veered south very rapidly, this is when the triangle became most clear, and within a second or two, it was like the thing disappeared into thin air. On or about 1;10 am while walking my dog I looked up to see what constellations where visible since the sky was cleat with exception of a few small clouds. As I looked to the north west I noted a large lighted object that was staying in the same location from my location in my driveway I could see it in obstructed at approx. 1 o'oclock high at approx. 15000 to 18000 feet At first it appeared to be a chevron, small at top wider at bottom lit at bottom and top with lights running vertical up the body of the object my 34 yr. Old son in law 13 yr.old grandson and myself a retired police officer drawings and time listings from first sight at 1:10 am to last sighting as it sped away at 2:18 am I also tried to take photo with my phone but it wouldn't work till right before it left We spoke via telephone with the witness, and he seemed to us to be quite sincere, and sober-minded. We suspect that he is a very good witness. PD

I was getting ready for bed and noticed that the sky seemed quite bright, so I looked out the window and saw lights I thought was an airplane, at first, but it wasn't moving, so I grabbed my binoculars and it looked like a triangle with a green light on each side and in the middle a red light. My mom was in the other room so when I yelled for her it's like it heard me because it took off behind the trees but then I saw it go down. It literally went from going straight to lowering down behind the trees which was probably around 50 feet in front of me. And earlier that day I saw a black helicopter fly overhead, which I also saw one a month prior too! And then on the 6th of this month was a very rare earthquake that happened after midnight, as well.

Some friends and myself were hanging out on my friends driveway which is on the top of hill overlooking a valley where you can see for about 10 miles. We were out there for a while so our eyes had acclimated to the dark and we were just talking and hanging out when we see a grouping of lights that kinda just looks like a low airplane but we didn’t hear anything. It was kinda headed in our direction so someone pointed it out and it wasn’t really that high in the sky. As it came our way we started to hear a humming kind of buzzing sound almost like a drone. Then as it got closer we thought it was just a drone because it had 3 green lights on and was triangular shaped. It was really dark so all we could see was the lights in town and the stars. As it kept getting closer it became apparent it wasn’t a drone because it just kept getting closer and was very large. If I had to guess I’d say 100 feet across. It very slowly made its way over us, almost seeming to slow down when it was over us. We were all just kinda of freaking out and all in amazement because none of us could explain what we were looking at. The lights weren’t overwhelmingly bright by any means and just looked like dull green lights in the corners of it’s triangular shape and no light coming from the body of the craft itself. You could only see the black silhouette of the craft blocking the stars and the dull green lights in the corner. I couldn’t make anything out on the silhouette. When it was at its closest I’d say it was probably only 100 to 150 yards above us and it wasn’t very loud, just a kind of dim, dull, hum and kind of buzzing sound almost like a drone but muffled. I’m not really a big believer of sightings and all that but I still can’t explain what we saw and all my friends who were there still talk about it. I only just heard about the site and the date I gave is definitely wrong but it was probably during that summer that we saw it. Just writing about its kinda giving me some paranoid kind of chills. Bright pulsating lights with rotating colors (violet, blue, white). Began appearing 3 months ago in NW Sky, 45 deg or less from horizon. Now there are 5+, all located at same deg from horizon, 4 do not seem to move and seem to make a pattern in sky. 2 in W sky and 2 in E sky. There are 3 evenly-spaced lights (not as bright) running vertically exactly between the 2 in the E sky. Seems to mimic Belt of Orion – Most witnesses tell me, “That is the Big Dipper”. These 5 lights line up like a cross, exactly evenly spaced with the 2 on either side pulsating brightness w rotating colors. First noticed this pattern one week ago and I am looking every night for last 3 months, so I believe they are increasing in number and communicating with patterns. Arcturus and Serpens, I believe, are located in our E sky at a higher degree. I have evidence.

On Monday, July 10, about 11AM ET, my wife and I were driving on I-76 Pennsylvania Turnpike westbound, MM 225 near Newville, PA. The sky is clear and sunny, visibilty is very good. I am in the drivers seat. Our speed, and other traffic, is 80 mph. Earlier I had seen a sign "Speed Monitored By Aerial Surveillence," so I was watching. To the southwest, my left, through the front windshield, I saw a helicopter. It was a white, familiar-looking police helicopter, hovering at an altitude that appeared normal for police traffic helicopters, and less than a 1/4 mile south off the Interstate. Mountains rise up about 10 miles ahead, and I could see a small white airplane in the distance, banking to my left. I looked at the helicopter, and noticed a long straight black tubular object (1) (the top surface reflecting the sun) above it, at approximately twice the altitude of the helicopter. I comment to my wife, "What do you think that is?" My first thought was a large solar balloon. The tubular object appeared to be more than twice as long as the helicopter and about the same diameter as the cabin of the helicopter. The black tubular object was not a rigid cylinder and would fold to form a V shape, both arms about the same length. At one point, I saw (2) one of the arms fold again about 1/4 of the length from the end. By now, I am looking directly out of the drivers side window, due south. A second white helicopter has appeared, and both helicopters maintain their altitude beneath the object. The three aircraft do not appear to be moving away, but hovering. The white airplane that I saw earlier, is now in view, south of the Interstate and at some distance beyond the helicopters and appears flying a circular path around the object, as I can see some top surface of the wings. Moving past the event, I see the tubular object straighten out briefly and then refold (3) into a V. It's still south of the Interstate, behind us and then lost to my view. I was in the passenger's seat. When my husband called my attention to the object, it was south of us, and I looked out of the driver's side window (I had already noticed one helicopter), I first thought it was a small flock of birds flying closely together. When I realized it wasn't birds, I paid more attention. It looked like (4) a translucent object floating without form, sort of like a jellyfish, but it had some kind of black large pieces to it that I took to be the birds originally. I thought perhaps it was a large clear weather balloon that was descending. I was not able to see it for very long, being on the opposite side of the car. It quickly disappeared from my view.

My husband, my sister and I were sitting around a campfire at our campsite on the shore of Lake Ontario. I caught sight of something moving very quickly to my left (west) from behind a group of large trees. We all saw a bright orange ball of light that slowed down, hovered for a few seconds and then moved quickly to the Northeast out over the lake. There was no sound as the object moved over us. The whole episode lasted about 30 to 45 seconds.

Was driving on highway through Baltimore and a huge black chevron-like aircraft (the wings went against each other in about a 60 or 70 degree angle and were shaped like rectangles with one side slightly slanted). Moving incredibly low and slow with a small bright green light on each wing. I saw it come from the west (above the trees over the highway, and slowly make its way past the threes to the east. I couldn't take my eyes off of it. Never thought I'd see anything like this in my lifetime. It was probably a hundred feet above the treetops. And enormous. I couldn't hear any sound being emitted from the UFO.

It started moving again but moving in the direct opposite direction moving east to west. It stopped again and a red solid light appeared, it seemed to have changed the position it was in the sky, but not moving. It then looked like it flipped its position in the sky and 3 smaller lights appeared in a triangular shape, the one on the top appeared last. The top light then got extremely bright, followed by the bottom 2. Finally all 3 lights got smaller and smaller until it disappeared as if it does away extremely fast.

focusing my telescope at the moon I saw a black black craft that wasn't a satellite crossing the edge of the moon, It was kind of like a coke can shape with an L shaped top and seemed to be missing a square piece off the bottom of it. Burning orange flamed ball of light traveling northwest about the same height as helicopters travel. Totally silent. Suddenly, the light went out and the orb object appeared black. Slowed briefly before turning and continuing on out of sight.

It could have been circular or square but not in the least similar to the shape of a plane. We both noticed it at the same time that's why it was so weird. It snuffed out and completely disappeared from the sky after about 10 seconds.
