For the past few days, we have witnessed a light in the sky that varied from extremely bright flashes, to very dim flashes. It is stationary for a few minutes, and slowly begans movement, and changes direction a few times before disappearing towards the Milky Way area. Aircraft were flying in area, but those are easy to differentiate from this object..

I noticed a very bright white object to the west while I took my dogs out tonight. The object was larger and brighter than the stars. I watched the object for 15 minutes it didn't move like a plane and there wasn't any noise. When it moved it at times left a streak of light behind it. It went from the West to the East towards I-5, which I live close to. This object didn't move in a pattern like a plane and when it moved it took a few seconds to track where it moved to. It was a round bright white object. The last time I saw it it moved toward the North East and was gone. The night was very clear lots of stars. I'm not sure what this was, but I am sure it was not a plane or a star.

I had gone out to the back yard with my dog and happened to look straight up. I saw a crescent shaped light with a span of 5-6 feet, sharply defined against the dark cloudless sky approximately 80 feet above me. It was moving from south to north in a straight line and made no sound. Once I saw it and registered all of its detail, the light simply went out. I continued to watch the spot where it had been but it did not reappear. Once I was back inside, I wanted to check for any similar reports, but my internet was out. Interestingly, the internet subscribers nearby were displayed and all of them had full range service. My internet service came on 1/2 hour later.

Solid white light very far away to the west. It was moving much too fast to be a plane, but too slow to be a meteor. It appeared to rise up from the horizon from the northwest, then gained altitude while heading south. It traveled for about 2 minutes and lost altitude, and the light went out as it was descending to the south, slightly southeast. While watching sky around 8:30 pm, I witnessed about 20 degrees above the horizon 3 lights move on the same line towards the same spot like you would see satellites move, except each was alone, until disappearing, and then a giant flare upward appeared. Once the flare went down, I noticed the second light which repeated first lights actions. I did not see the flare on the third light.

It was a bright light in the sky over the trees, a rectangular shape. My husband looked up and said, “Did you see that?” I was trying to keep an eye on it, when a tractor pulled out and then the trees got in the way. By the time we came to a clearing it was gone. Walking towards the Rattlesnake Valley from the corner of E Broadway and Van Buren, myself and a friend saw what initially appeared like a helicopter, but I realized very quickly, due to the fact that you couldn't see propellers, that it couldnt be a helicopter. It was white, oval shape, but it also was very hazy around the object, it had a large orangey red light, and a blue light on the visible side of it. From our vantage point, we could see that it was well past the 'L' on Mt. Jumbo, which is just over a mile away, but as it would move towards us or away from us, or uoward, its size never changed. We watched it for about 4 or 5 minutes, and then it simply vanished, like a switch turned it off.

A large Silver rectangle shaped object in top of mountains. seen off las vegas blvd. Near M casino. Tried to take pictures, but can only see a little of it. Very reflective off the sun. It disappeared about 15 min after sighting. We did not witness it leaving unfortunately.

We were sitting on a bench in Silver Sand beach, when we noticed a light moving very slowly in the sky. The light started to come closer to us and hovered about 50 feet in front of us. I thought it was a drone, but it was too quiet and was moving very fast and erratic, with flashing white lights, in a pattern. The craft then shot off towards Sikorsky. Other onlookers noticed the craft and thought it was a plane as well, but as a plane past us, you could hear the engine; this was no plane or drone. We own a drone, and at that distance, can be heard. Unless it was military grade, a drone can’t fly at that great of distance; we own one.

08/14/17 12:20 a.m., I was driving home, east bound, and I noticed a odd haze in the sky, and then a light slowly became very bright then would dim to darkness, there seemed to be two separate lights but very close to one another. I observed several sessions of this happening and it remained in one spot, then finally disappeared and only darkness was left as if it never happened.

Small light, size of plane or star (about 40,000 to 50,000 feet up), moved quickly across sky, towards the east. It made a sudden sharp right turn, then a long streak movement down towards the horizon (tree line) past Volcanoville, CA.

Following a similar sighting on the previous evening of Saturday, August 12, 2017, I accepted an invitation on Sunday, August 13, 2017, from a former pastor friend and his wife to have dinner and then go outside and watch the Perseid meteor showers before the moon rose. After seeing a couple of very large ones, at about 10:00 PM the 3 of us witnessed a very similar repeat of the bright blue-white flash event at the same elevation and direction as I’d seen the previous night (as reported separately). This was also followed by perhaps 6 or 7 less intense flashes at irregular intervals, but their location kept randomly shifting slightly to the left or up or down. As the flashes became fainter, they moved slowly down and to the ESE for a considerable distance, finally becoming too faint to follow although by this time my pastor friend was tracking them with binoculars trying to see any detail (to no avail). My friends then told me that they’d seen similar fl! ashes in the same location at about the same time the night before. Then, at around 11:30 PM there was a reoccurrence of the flash at exactly the same position in the sky and just as brightly, followed by a couple of irregular but fainter ones, all with no apparent change in position and this time not followed by the receding movement of fainter flashes. After solidly dismissing the idea of any sort of aircraft we speculated that it might be flashes from a reflective panel on a rotating satellite or space station. But the irregularity of the flashes and the extreme brightness of the initial flash or two seemed to discount any sort of regular rotational cause. It left us clueless but not at all alarmed, thinking it might just be some sort of optical illusion that would find explanation later. But there was no mention of any similar sighting in Monday’s local newspaper. My companions have an amateur interest in astronomy and night sky viewing. My own background includes a lifetime amateur interest in the biological sciences, and later in the hard sciences (esp. quantum physics, astrophysics, cosmology, topology, etc.), but not UFO’s. Since 1965 have been a professional fine woodworker (luthier), spec. stringed musical instruments, involving fine measurements, close tolerances, good observational skills, and a good ear. (( We spoke via telephone with the witness, and we found him to be exceptional eloquent, and he seemed to be quite sincere and sober-minded. We suspect that he is an excellent witness. 8/13/2017 @ 9:32 p.m. Observing the sky for Perseid meteorites and noticed a light pulse above the Angeles Crest. I kept staring at the same spot to see if it would pulse again, and sure enough, 10 to 15 seconds later, another pulse. I called my son out to make sure I wasn’t imagining things and he confirmed what I was seeing. This continued 32 times. The light pulse was less that a second and varied in brightness each time. It traveled from west to the east and its path spanned approximately 15 degrees within 5 minutes time then finally stopped. I’ve seen many satellite fly overs but nothing like this. Can’t figure this one out???

My husband and daughter and I were sitting in the backyard around 9:00, waiting to watch for the meteor shower, when a red light, traveling in the flight pattern (west to east), came up. My husband asked what it was, I thought it was a helicopter but it made no sound, and as it passed over our house, there were no blinking lights, and it appeared to be oval in shape. A few seconds later, another light appeared, this time green. This repeated over a 20 minute period when another red light appeared then a white light appeared then another red. These lights moved in the same way a helicopter would and seemed about the same distance from the ground. Again, all lights were silent. We saw 1 red, and 1 green light about 2 nights before this, as well. ((ADDENDUM FROM WITNESS)) Good Morning Mr. Davenport, The time was 2100 hours. The objects appeared to be moving from west to east with a local flight pattern. They seemed to be about the size of a helicopter. There were no noticeable winds or changes as they went by and they were silent. I will try to get further information. They were bright like LED lights but they were not moving like balloons or anything. They moved similarly like a helicopter would and at about the same altitude. Very consistent. I hope this helps. Then in the area of the random flashes, I saw a solid orange small orb emit a beam towards one of the pulsing objects. I watched the small orbs moving very slowly for over an hour, until i went inside for the night.

Was sitting out on my back deck just before twilight watching the civilian aircraft circling in the Logan approach pattern and the high altitude military aircraft flying south over Boston. What caught my attention was fast mover that had the afterburners kicked in moving north away from Boston at a very high rate of speed. It is not unusual for military aircraft to be cruising in this area. But it is unusual to see them with the afterburners kicked in with such a dense air traffic area. As I was watching the fast mover a single chevon shaped object momentarily appeared ahead of the interceptor and disappeared. Had no way of gauging the distance between the interceptor and the chevron shaped object. After the object disappeared the interceptor continued north towards New Hampshire at a slower rate of speed.

UFO had running lights on, very similar to what you would see on a police helicopter. It was stationary, but very still. I noticed it and remarked on why is a helicopter sitting like that, right there? Then it moved, morphed shape several times, changed color of lights, disappeared all together several times, and flew at very high rate of speeds, at very low altitudes, and even though it appeared to be very close to us, it had no sound. Shortly after it left the area, several military type aircraft circled around where it had been. And up very high in the night sky, what looked like moving stars (not meteors) much like a commercial airliner up high in the sky, but it looked like a tiny star moving in different directions, towards where the initial UFO had gone out of sight.

Today is a clear sky over North East Ohio. We are 10 miles from Lake Erie. At an almost straight up angle, a shiny object remained stationary for 90 minutes. I retrieved my binoculars and we looked at it under 50 x 20 power. The object looked like a chevron shaped object. It only moved a slight bit. We had 8 people in all viewing this thing. It appeared to be almost as high as a 36,000 ft high jet that flew near it. When it left it just disappeared. No pics were taken as it was so high up.

Saw 6 hovering way up in the sky. We decided to pull over and follow them with the car to get a video. One started smoking, and as we turned a corner and came to a clearing (.5 seconds later) the disks had vanished. All we got on camera was the smoke left in the air from the craft. Saw streak that quickly slowed down to reveal perfect sphere. Slowing also changed colour from white orange streak to orange red sphere. Thought it might drop from sky, but disappeared behind tree line. Object was low and close and travelled at improbable trajectory (perfectly horizontal) - 45 degrees off the ground and seemingly close mile or less away. Object was clear, outline was crisp. So in summary, thought I was seeing a horizontal shooting star that slowed down to reveal sphere - completely silent.

I had been driving from Minneapolis to Des Moines and had dropped a friend off West of Des Moines. As I drove East on I-80, I saw a light that was moving in strange ways. It was most definitely not a plane. It was moving behind clouds then back out into plain sight. There were no flashing lights on it, but it kept changing color seemingly randomly. It would change between red, blue and yellow. I pulled over to get a video with my phone but when I got out of the car, it was gone. I had this odd feeling that it knew I was watching it… as if there was a connection between the object and me.
