White Plains, MD: We are in the approach/departure flight path (at a higher altitude) for Washington Reagan National Airport, and occasionally Joint Base Andrews, so hearing and seeing airplane traffic is not unusual. I always search the skies to find the plane and watch its flight. At 0530 on Sunday 20 August 2017, I was out in the driveway smoking a cigarette. I began to hear a low rumble, like an airplane getting closer. It was a cloudless morning and stars were still visible, but I could not see an airplane anywhere in the sky. As the low rumble increased in volume, it sounded like it flew right overhead, but I still couldn’t see it. Finally, as it crossed past the house (moving SW to NE), I saw two blinking red lights moving very slowly away from me. I thought, “That’s why I couldn’t find a plane; it’s actually two planes”, because of the spacing of the two lights. However, as I continued to watch, I realized that it wasn’t two planes flying in formation, it was actually one extremely large craft, and it was flying extremely slowly, compared to the aircraft I normally see fly over the house. I assume that the blinking red lights were on the tips of its wings, but there was actually no discernible shape associated with the craft. It was low enough that I should have been able to see wings and a fuselage, but there was nothing in between the lights that was visible at all. The low rumble gradually faded in volume, and as I continued to watch the red lights, they suddenly just disappeared, as did the rumbling noise. I am a former US Navy Sailor and a trained observer, having worked with the Navy police during my career.

I was sitting fishing on our dock, and my little brother said, "did you see that" he had just seen as what he described as a fireball flying over his head, that suddenly disappeared. Then about ten minutes later I saw the same thing. It was like a fireball with futuristic tiles on it so it looked like the fire was a camp or a disguise as a meteor. I saw it, but where the last one disappeared, and then it was gone.

Large golden light - cone shape with golden circle top brighter than any star - hovered for a long time in one place, then started moving over West Sedona neighborhood. The object started moving much faster toward directly over me, especially when I called my boyfriend and told him to hurry up and get there. I got in car and drove away, around the block once. When I returned the object was gone. (( For some reason, witness indicates that the date above is approximate. PD)

Looking at it with a scope, it just looked like a redish dot, but there seemed to be an airplane doing a u-turn and kind of cashing after it. The objects had a nice clip going. Saw the first one around 10:41 pm cst. Two appeared right after 10:54 pm cst. Another one around at about 10:58 pm cst. Times should be Central Daylight Time. PD

We saw what looked like large swarm of bright lights in multi colors, red, blue yellow and green...moving through night sky like a flock of birds for several minutes while we were driving north on Parkway about 10:30 pm. Other cars saw it and pulled over, too. The lights were to the east of GSParkway. We the saw what looked like a large white orb shoot across the sky toward the lights. The lights eventually moved farther away toward the ocean. I was able to get pictures and a video with my phone. The lights were larger points of light than stars, and very colorful.

Driving south on Garden State Parkway (from Ocean City towards Cape May), a formation of multiple colored lights hovered in the sky. Colors ranged from purple to blue to green to red. They moved in a manner never before seen by my own eyes in person. There was a gap of space between the formation of lights and ONE singular metallic/white spacecraft that moved towards the formation of lights faster than anything I've ever seen before. As we drove past the lights, the metallic/ white light caught up to them in NO TIME, and the lights shifted towards over the bay. Every hair on my body stood up for about 5 minutes and occasionally does the same as I continue to think about what it is we just saw. LISTEN--I'm not one to joke around about something of this magnitude. There were other cars headed in our direction that saw the same thing and pulled over to the side of the highway to further examine what they were seeing. If my daughter was not in the car, I too, would have pulled over.

I watched it until it was too far away to detect. This was followed by three more occurrences of the "orange light," each of the successive lights followed the same trajectory, and traveled at the same pace across the sky. I watched all until I could not detect them anymore. This event lasted until 10:00 pm. The date provided by the witness appears to be flawed. We attempt to telephone the witness, but her telephone does not allow incoming calls!! We have assigned an arbitrary date, which is our best guess. PD

I was driving into my neighborhood last night at approximately 9:30, and was preparing to park my car in my garage, when I glanced up in the southeast sky at my roofline and noticed three glowing, pulsating, orange orbs flying slowly in a northwesterly direction in a large triangular formation. As far as size perspective goes--they were the size of a typical pearl bead held at arm's length. I estimate they were traveling at a distance of about 10-15,000 feet and were completely silent and their airspeed was approximately 200-300 mph. The objects’ color never changed. I watched the objects break formation when they were directly overhead and begin moving in a somewhat straight line, as they gradually disappeared into the northwest sky. This part of the sighting lasted about 2-3 minutes. I then saw another of these objects traveling along the same flight path, approaching from the southeast sky, at which point, I ran inside my house to get my wife outside as a witness to what I was observing. We both watched this object through my binoculars as it headed in a straight line into the northwest sky. Same estimated airspeed, size and distance as the other objects. Also, at this point, I noticed several neighbors down the street from us, standing in their front yards, watching these objects. We were both getting ready to go inside the house, when we noticed yet another of the objects, same size, flight path, speed, color, etc., traveling in exactly the same direction as the previously sighted objects. We watched as it gradually disappeared in the northwest sky. I estimate the total length of this sighting to be approximately 10-15 minutes. We waited outside for another 10 minutes but nothing else unusual was sighted. We are approximately 10 miles from Sanford-Orlando International Airport and are very used to seeing various types of commercial and sometimes military aircraft over the last 17 years. I have also piloted single engine aircraft and have never seen anything like these objects before tonight.

Sitting on my front porch, I saw in the western sky past the house across the street a glowing red ball of light. There were fireworks heard earlier in the night, so I was expecting it to be fireworks. However, it descended slightly, and then hung in the air. I continued to watch it expecting it to pop like fireworks, but it just stayed there glowing. It then suddenly shut off and zipped off upwardly very quickly leaving a faint white trail. A few seconds later a green glittery patch of lights appeared that then turned into a red glowing ball of light and then it was gone. I thought to use my phone camera I was listening to only then but was too late. The fireworks were earlier in the evening at the golf course behind the house. I didn't hear anything or feel anything like fireworks, but I was listening to my phone at the time.

I was inside with my mother and my father was outside on the porch talking to one of our neighbors. My father called to us "come and look at this" my mother and I went out side. He pointed to the sky and just above the tree line ther were two orange lights moving east to west. The lights were sort of far apart and stayed near the tree line while moving about the speed of a plane. They were gone pretty quickly

Second night we have seen this, a bright flash high up, then we follow the "craft" as it has other flashes, no specific pattern to the flashes. Also does not follow a straight path. All flashes we see are white in color, some bright some dull.

They had bright orange lights and seemed to be flying just ahead of the storm. They did not fly like normal aircraft and some flew against the wind, so weather balloons or something similar seems unlikely. I ran outside and was able to spot 2 more, which I pointed out to my neighbor. She told me she saw 2 craft identical to these 4/5 days ago, flying right in front of a storm.

UFO Report August 19, 2017 7pm While listening to Coast to Coast podcast on August 19th for the August 17th broadcast, my attention was arrested when you mentioned the Turkey sighting on August 12. First, because my husband and I had traveled to Turkey in early 2016 for a tour of the early Christian churches. The second reason the report grabbed my attention was because I think I saw a very similar flickering light around the same timeframe - only I live north east of Cincinnati, Ohio. My husband was out of town the nights of August 9th and 10th. We usually stargaze together so I rarely go out without him but because the night was clear (not sure which of the two nights) I stepped out onto the deck for a few moments to look up. It was likely around 11pm as well… I knew I should have documented it because it was so odd, but not drastic enough to think it was report worthy. I was only going to take a quick look because being outside alone is a bit creepy but a bright flash similar to what the Turkish man described caught my eye. This single flash was strobe-like in intensity and hit my peripheral vision. My father, a naval photographer, taught me to look above a light in the night sky to see it better. When I did that I located a slow blinking light in the North-West sky similar to the Turkish man. As I watched the slow blinking object, I discerned it was not moving much… maybe a tiny bit to the left. It definitely was not moving as fast as other objects my husband and I have seen. Over the years multitudes of red blinking lights have been observed and sometimes are close enough to see a white or green light …we have assumed they are planes or drones… they are all silent. But this light, also silent, was different because of the strobe effect that happened one more time when I was about to turn away and go inside. Studying it again, I realized it was definitely not moving and so I began counting seconds between blinks. Sometimes it was three seconds, other times it was five and once I counted seven seconds. This was definitely an interesting phenomenon. I wondered if it was a planet, star or meteor that was so far away the atmosphere may have obscured its light intermittently. It was notable enough for me to tell my husband when he returned home. I wished he had witnessed it too because I was second-guessing the strobe effect that happened twice. But when I heard the report from Turkey, I knew it wasn’t my imagination. I suspect we saw the same thing… but probably on different nights. Thanks for your reports on Coast to Coast. It’s interesting to hear what other people are seeing. My husband and I are age 55, college graduates and entrepreneurs. We don’t believe in aliens from other planets. We believe there are government black op programs and entities from other dimensions. We have no desire to make contact with these entities, but recognize we have authority over them through faith in Jesus Christ. So no fear, worry or concerns… just reporting a curiosity in the night sky. Bless you!

At 6:50 pm, my wife and I were in our backyard discussing Mexican food, when I looked up and saw at approximately 900-1000 feet high an odd looking object that was definitely not a plane or a helicopter and appeared to be carrying a triangle shaped second object. The main object (don't know what else to call it) was very shiny and appeared to be metallic. The top of the object resembled the shape of the letter S if it were faced backwards and seemed to have several strange cable like “arms” that were attached to and carrying the second object. My wife also saw the object and also was in awe and not sure what top make of it. We watched it travel in an awkward zig-zag pattern heading North-East as it gained altitude for about 2 minutes, until it was at a out of site. Shortly after, an airplane flew overhead in the direction of the strange flying object. I took a few pictures with my phone and a short video, which I will attach. We spoke via telephone with the witness, and he seemed to us to be quite sober-minded, and sincere, We suspect he is an excellent, and highly reliable, witness. PD

Observed a bright light in western sky. Red violet in color. I just happened to look towards the sky and noticed this light sitting still. Just as I noticed the light, it took off very fast to the north. I watched it heading north for just about one second before it seemed to go even faster and disappear.

I saw a flattened matte black oval sticking half way out of a tree three houses away. It must have been greater than 30 feet up and larger than a car. No windows, no sound, it didn’t move. I walked back and forth along my fence to try to determine what it was. I left to get my phone and tell my wife and when I came back it was gone.

Within a second or two following the event, another sound came. It was similar in effect to the sound of an acorn falling and hitting a leaf, yet sharper. It dislodged several leaves which fluttered to the ground from my right to my left. There was no breeze or wind. Everything was quiet.

Started out as am orange red ball just sitting there. Then it broke apart into a bunch of smaller lights (5-7), almost in a formation. They came back together, and then split apart again, before disappearing into the southern skies.
