It looked segmented, very flashy at the top, as it randomly had the sun flashing off of it. 2 segments aligned vertically, possibly connected by a piece not visible to the eye or camera. It didn't strike us as a balloon, since the top looked solid, and sometimes the top looked round, others it looked elongated like the bottom segment. Highly reflective. There were planes around, though they didn't appear to have any interest in this object. It coasted along slowly, apparently really high in the sky - but still below the clouds, as it was visible even when overlapping with the clouds themselves. [NUFORC annotation: Balloon - Possible]

I was driving at tesson ferry and reavis road 63123 and reavis road when I looked up and saw 3 bright star looking objects but mich brighter than stars. When I turned I pulled over to get a better view with 2 other men at the gas station who were outside watching the flying objects. 2 other people saw them that were driving In a. Jeep. 3 crafts that had blinking lights red and blue under them. They seemed to stop in the sky line up all 3 diagonally stand still. Then move all different directions and continued to slowly fly in different directions after that. We heard no noise.

While driving to work, I saw a splash of high attitude large bright blue light flew across and above my car. So bright and so fast! It disappeared in midair in second!

I was operating a flight as a pilot from OAK-ONT. For about 10 minutes while flying south, looking eastb over the Mammoth portionof the Sierras, I saw 3 orbs of light alternately glowing bright and then fading. These objects were stationary relative to our aircraft during entire sighting, giving us the idea that they are very distant. However, these lights would reposition relative to each other and move in ways that showed incredible speed. Twice, one of the lights appeared to streak across the sky.

Massive bright red line shaped “thing” moves in an S shape. Like a boomerang. Varying speed. Video taken is when it was not moving. I stupidly didn’t keep recording because i was dumbfounded by what i saw. Saw it with 2 friends and a car stopped in the middle of the parking lot to look at it. Forgive me for sounding crazy but it felt as if the object knew i was recording it because it immediately froze in place when i got my camera out. Then, it turned its red light off. You can see very briefly at the last second of the video that there is a star in the sky that was not there originally. But that could just be me. The red giant light in the sky is crazy though. My fiancée and I were outside our house stargazing when a set of lights directly above us caught our attention. They were faint and small leading me to believe that they were high up in the sky. Once our eyes were able to focus on them, we could both make out two triangle shaped objects. One had three lights on each end and the other had at least one. They flew very close to one another and were completely silent, flying slowly to the north until they faded from view.

I went outside at approximately 10:50 pm to smoke a cigarette and just look into the sky as I normally do every night. I like to watch for satellite passings and look at constellations. The moon was out and it was pretty bright. All of a sudden I noticed a very bright white cloud moving from right to left in the sky. I’d say the object was at least a thousand to two thousand feet high. It was slowly floating like a normal cloud would but it was emitting a very bright blinking light. As I focused in more on the anomaly I could definitely make out a entirely separate circle shaped object inside or behind the cloud that was not part of the cloud. It almost looked like one of the surveillance balloons that were recently shot down by our military except it was emitting a bright blinking light. I immediately grabbed my phone from my jacket pocket and was able to capture the anomaly in a 2 minute and 39 second video that clearly shows what I’m describing. It’s hard to gauge the size of the object but if I were to try I would have to say that it was at least as big as a public transit bus. I’m sorry I do not want to take anything away from the full video that I have by clipping it. I did download five pictures of the anomaly, however the video file is too large in it’s entirety.

My husband and I were outside on our back patio when I saw it hovering over the neighbors house in broad daylight. It looked like an orb with an arm on top (shaped like a Sunfish) maybe white/silver and red. It looked like it was surveying or taking pics. It moved in a straight line, fast. It was about 3000-5000 ft in the air,

I was sitting at a traffic light and noticed a seagull in the sky. Then much higher up in the sky I saw a group of small golden lights. At first I thought they were a flock of birds. But then noticed the formation and pattern was more of a spiral, and the reflection of the gold color was so bright and shiny they couldn't be birds. They disappeared then reappeared a short distance away. Then disappeared again. This was in full daylight and they were swirling around for about a minute.

Flying in Southwest Flight 2032 from Sacramento to OC John Wayne Airport we had just passed by Catalina Island, Had beautiful clear views for miles and has been enjoying the view, as we moved passed island i sat back n my seat on the right side of aircraft and looked out window toward the wing I was in about 5th row from back. I saw a light , emerge below the wing out about 200 yards , I focused in on it it as we passed by it, I could see metallic spike antenna like things sticking out, of it the white light . The light was best guess, 1-3' tic tac shape and the 4+ spikes seemed about 6-7 times longer. It moved from my left to right and I couldn't recognize as anything I had seen before, I am a RPIC pilot, but the antennas on top 1set at 20 and 60 degrees. I didn't have time to really look down as we passed in around 3 seconds or less. Immediately I asked the guy siting in front of me who I could tell had been looking out side and he confirmed. He first said light, then said maybe drone and he wanted to explain away but all the other planes ships etc were very clear and hard to mistake. He was questing why it was so close. I had been taking photos but had just put my phone away , super clear calm still ocean below. [NUFORC annotation: Drone - Possible]

Multiple people saw this object and reported to police and news media. It was not connected by a wire to ground but moved parallel to ground. Hovered and then moved away. The witness followed up to indicate this was a 50ft solar balloon that escaped (maybe from local school). [NUFORC annotation: Balloon - Certain]

For 45 minutes or so light after light would appear above mt Blanca and descend on it or disappear into the top of my Blanca. After 20 minutes they started to be at a higher altitude and moving west from my Blanca to la Venta pass. At one point two lights passed another and changed direction.... Could be an extreme ball lightning event. The lights came at random intervals. Good luck

Me and my friends decided to go up to the top of our apartment and chill out and star gaze. Then around 10:30 our dogs are barking and our phones and all of our music playing devices just shut down. Then my friend (whose name doesn't want to be said) pointed out 3 Bright triangular objects hovering about 500 ft. above us. Then the crafts start lowering themselves on top of us and everything went black. We all woke up at around 2 am with marks on our bodies.

Went out at around 4:15 or 4:30 am to let the dogs out. I often look up when I am out at night, so I saw a cluster of stars (I thought) that began moving and flickering out. Some would light up bright white (a little larger than the brightest star) move a little and fade away. Some were red or orange. It lasted about 10 minutes, but I have no idea how long it was going on before I went out. It was almost in the same exact spot in the sky (from my vantage point), that the famous solar eclipse that happened a few years back. It was directly overhead and about 30 degrees to the south. I asked my wife to see and she observed 2 or 3 near the end. It appeared to be higher than a commercial flight. I would guess 60-80,000 feet. I shot a green laser at them, but not sure that it had any reaction to it. It felt alive or in unison if that helps.

Minding my business and enjoying the flight I look outside and at first saw a light streak in the distance and then as I’m trying to figure out what I saw I look outside and there are these light going on and off periodically and at times there would be 2-3 of them at the same time

I just purchased a Samsung S23 ultra cell phone and I've been taking pictures of the moon with the camera because wow the clarity is incredible so on April 4th I was in class and I took a break from class at 8:06 to 8:18 and I took a series of pictures of the moon I went back to class then left class for the evening at 9:17 PM looked at the moon to take some more pictures and I thought wow it got hazy really fast and then I saw what looked like a really cool looking contrail. Took a couple of pictures started thinking that's not a contrail, took a few more pictures and it never changed shape was moving pretty darn fast it's very fascinating to look by 9:19 PM it was gone. So let me know what you guys think, I'll send 4 of the pictures I have a total of 13 pictures and I have quite a few images from an hour earlier. [NUFORC annotation: Contrail - Certain]

We were on our deck waiting for the ISS to fly by about 850pm. We spotted an object flying west with two green blinking lights. The lights did not blink in a consistant pattern. No noise. The object csme to an abrupt stop. It stayed stationary as the ISS flew by then reversed course and flew east. I am a commercial pilot so I know it was not a plane or helecopter. It may have bern a drone but it was very high.

I woke up at 12:45am but did not know why, I laid there and tried to go back to sleep and could not. after 10 or 15 min I decided to go downstairs to get on my P.C. At around 2:35am my dog started to whine like she wanted to go out, so I finished getting dressed and took her out to a large patch of grass behind my home. We were out for maybe 3-5 min (just long enough to get out there and start doing her thing) when I noticed a very bright star out of the corner of my eye, or what I first thought was a star. I turned to my left to focus on it when I realized it was moving. The luminosity of this first object was 3 time the brightness of Venus and was the largest and brightest of the event. I was looking roughly north, and it was roughly 45 to 50 degrees in declination (I downloaded a compass on my phone the next day and found it was roughly 50 degrees from north). This object appeared to be moving from south to north at a slow rate with a slight arc to the east. After maybe 10 sec (long enough to think "it's not a star, or a plan") when it started to decrease in luminosity (at the same time it started to arc east), and after 5 sec it had vanished. I was standing there thinking "that was #@$% awesome" when I spotted another light in roughly the same direction but lower in declination, say 35 to 40 degrees. This light was half the luminosity of the first one at its highest lamination and appeared to be coming towards me from the north moving southeast. This object moved quickly for 5 sec then slowed down to almost a hover. It remained in roughly static position while two more objects came in from almost the exact direction and formed up with the first. At this point I was dumbstruck. As many times as I have heard stories like this, and I always thought to myself "why didn't you take a video". I now understand. I stood watching what transpired completely transfixed on what I was watching. I would say that the objects I seen were controlled do to the fact that they assumed a triangular formation and started to travel to the east and descend below the ridgeline at the edge of town. I was watching the ridge to see if they came back out when I noticed another light coming in from the same direction and declination rapidly followed by another. These two did not slow but continued in the same direction as the first 3. I kept watching for a few minutes and was just starting to think it was over when a group of 2 lights at the same time came in, from the same area of the sky, and got to roughly the same spot in the sky where the first three hovered and stopped. They set there for 2 minutes or so when another 3 lights came in and formed up with the others. They hung there for a few moments, and I figured they would replicate the first set, but they remained in position for another minute or 2 when another solo light came in and formed up with the rest in no real formation, just grouped together. As soon as the last light arrived on station with the others, they all followed the same path as the first 2. At this point I actually looked around to see if there was anyone that I could attract their attention when remembered it was the dead of night. Another 2 lights started to come in and I thought about calling my wife and waking her up, when I remembered I had a phone in my pocket. I took my phone out (time on the screen when I went to unlock it was 3:14am as I made a note of the time) and turned on the camera. I set it to video but could not see the objects even when I zoomed due to the streetlights just below the area of the sky I was watching. These two objects moved continually and on the same path. At this time a large meteor started to streak above my head moving from south to north and broke up and faded at about 50 degrees of declination at roughly 40degrees from north. I remember actually saying "whoooa" out loud after it faded. Within a minute or 2 another light started to move from the same area in the same direction as the other objects rapidly followed by another entire group of lights (I did not think to count them, but the total number of lights was about 8 to 10 in this group). They all grouped up at roughly the same point in the sky, hovered for 30 seconds or so then followed the other’s flight path. This was the last sighting in this event. All of the lights seemed to be roughly the same size and brightness. I stood there for some time watching for another set, but in vain. I also scanned the rest of the sky to make sure I was not missing something else, but there was no other traffic in the sky. As I stood there my rational brain kicked into high gear, trying to rationalize it out. I know Pittsburg is in roughly the same direct, so I thought maybe I was seeing air traffic going into there. But I could not explain the hovering unless they were turning in at an angle that could make it look like they were hovering. I came back in and opened google earth and from where I was standing during the sighting to PIA it is 67.4 miles. I went to their website and checked for arrivals, and they only had 2 flighting arriving during the timeframe of the sighting. Add to that the ridgeline in front of the town being roughly 25 degrees in declination I am not sure if I could even see traffic that far off (my trig is a little rusty). I have seen star links, and this was nothing like that. I have seen a couple things in the sky in my life that made me really reason out what I was seeing. The others I could not rule out a satellite or the ISS. This time, this time I have no clue what it was I seen in the sky.

I saw a dim light low in the sky to my NE. The light appeared as an orb. Once I locked on the light it glowed brighter appearing larger. Then the light shrunk to a singularity and disappeared. After 5 minutes I went back outside to see if I could see it again, and it was still there. It did this 4 times, disappearing each time I got a good look.

I was taking down one of my outside cameras and noticed a very very bright light com from the NW and stop and stay just over the horizon for about 30mins. I still can see it at the moment but the intensity of the light has dwindled down to be just brighter than the moon would be on a full moon but still quite visible. When videoing the light a strange circular wave pattern was emanating around the light. at one point I thought it was protruding lights from it but I am not sure if that was just my eyes playing tricks with me. I filmed other lights as well to see if that was a localized phenomenon or if every light did it. It was the only light I could make give the wave circle pattern. Don’t know what it was.
