Saw a white, egg-shaped object shoot across the sky like a meteor, but there was no tail or vapor trail of any kind. No sonic boom either. It was travelling east of Napa on a south to north trajectory. About 2 seconds behind it another identical craft going the same speed on the same trajectory flew past. Essentially I believe I witnessed a formation of aircraft flying at hypersonic speed and their flight path would carry them pretty close to Travis AFB.

About 11:00pm, in the city of Phoenix, Az, about 5 miles South of Sky Harbor airport, as I sat in my backyard I observed a black chevron-shaped UFO pass over me as it traveled in a South-Easterly direction at a quite high rate of speed. The object was in my field of vision for at least three seconds but no more than five as it passed overhead in total silence. I had no reference to be able to judge its size or altitude accurately, but if I had to estimate its altitude I would suggest that it would be in the 500-750ft range. If one were to make a 'peace sign' with their left hand and hold these fingers at arm's length, this would approximate its apparent size and shape. The object was black, darker than the night sky as we have a lot of light pollution. The underside of the craft had circular lights on the bottom. Then I kept looking in the sky as it was odd. A few minutes later I noticed a white circular object floating through the sky at a low altitude with no lights. It was definelty weird. No sound and it was moving pretty fast. Again, could have mistaken drones for UFOs, but never seen drones like this experience. I was out with my family and I had just gotten back from the store. Well I kept hearing my mom and sister say, "what the f..." and I looked up and there were 3 orange dots making a triangle, and 2 other dots on each other. My sister rushed in and got my dad and when I went to take a picture of the triangle my phone started to glitch really bad. When my dad got outside the triangle had started to change and I don't know how to explain the shape it was in. I recorded it though. That same night my friend sent me a picture of a triangle with 3 white lights from his bedroom window. While all this was going on my cat was acting really weird and attacked my sister and he never does that.

Telephoned Report: This is a preliminary written report, submitted on behalf of a husband and wife, who witnessed a peculiar object pass overhead their location. During a telephone call to the Hotline, the husband reported a sighting of an object that reminded him of the objects seen during the dramatic "Phoenix Lights" event, i.e. a seemingly quite large, phalanx-shaped formation of lights. The witness reported that the formation was approximately the apparent size of a full Moon, and that the lights in the formation were approximately the size, and color, of stars in the nighttime sky. NUFORC is awaiting written reports, as well as illustrations, from both witnesses, and will post them once they have arrived at our Center.

Left local pub while walking to vehicle noticed in sky a very bright orange red object in sky heading from the east to a westerly heading (this direction gradually changed to a south heading ). It was considerably bright and seemed to dim somewhat after changing its direction. I would guess its closest distance from to be a quarter to half mile ( maybe closer ). It made no sound. This object had no navigation lights, it was a solid orange red color for the duration of the sighting. It was absolutely positively not a Chinese lantern. The cloud cover was low--it was actually drizzling slightly during this sighting and right after I explained to my gf that this object was not on a standard flight corridor, a commercial jet (737-ish ) flew right under where this object faded from view-the airliner flew on a normal flight corridor that I see everyday and was very plainly visible with attendant navigational lights and was also flying under cloud cover at normal for this area altitude (1000-3000 ft ) about 15 miles from Greater Pittsburgh International. Its jet engines were clearly audible. /// I am former military and former law enforcement. This was definitely an unusual sighting and I'll be curious if anyone else saw this object tonight.

I was in my back yard in the city of Dearborn Heights, Michigan, and observed a pulsating object in the sky. I quickly started filming the object with my 4k video camera on a tripod. The object appeared stationary, yet changed shape and color. I managed to capture video and still images which were captured from the video itself. Other people also reported seeing this object on social media. I am a retired police pilot with a commercial rating. I have never seen an aircraft with these characteristics. We spoke with the witness via telephone, and viewed the video he forwarded to NUFORC. We suspect that what he was observing was a "twinkling" star, and given that he was looking to the west, the most likely candidate, we believe, is the star called, "Arcturus." PD

While enjoying a brief stay at East Beach in Charlestown, RI, and lying on my back looking up at the clear blue sky, I spotted what looked like an airliner or B-52 shaped plane with fuselage, two wings, and four jet pods (2 on each wing). I didn't notice the 'plane' approach but only noticed it as it materialized over head. I would guess the altitude to be 15k feet up. The craft caught my attention by virtue of 'bright lights' attached to the ends of the four 'jet pods'...the fuselage and wings had a translucent texture about it. It seemed, some how, 'fake' to me. The four bright, silvery lights at the ends of the pods changed as I observed it (I had binoculars with me, having viewed an old B-17, B-24, and a spitfire of WWII vintage earlier pass over the shoreline next to me, in prep for a local airshow over Labor Day weekend.). Through the binoculars I had a good close up view of the 'plane.' It's speed was slow for a jet, in my opinion. As I looked at it close up, the far left 'light' went out and was replaced by the same type light at the end of the tail section. Now, there were 3 wing lights and one tail light. All were very bright and prominent. As I continued to watch, the craft just faded out..it became dimmer and then just gone. No sound was heard. About 3 minutes later as I continued my sky search another similar 'plane' appeared in the same general area but higher in elevation. It, too, had the same lights but only two that I saw..one on each side of respective wing pods. It was also translucent in substance as was the first. It also faded quickly as if de-materializing as I watched. The first craft sighting was in view for about 10 seconds but the second craft for only 5 seconds. Both were going in the same Westward direction. It was the lights on these 'planes' and their translucence that I deemed very odd and not normal. I thought about the sun's reflective aspect on metal as an explanation but dismissed the idea as there was no consistency to it and the craft continued straight and not deviating. Another mystery, but possibly UFOs that can mimic our air craft and go unnoticed by the public. ((ADDENDUM FROM WITNESS)) Hi Peter..I'll try to answer some questions...the object's lights were brilliant even in the bright sunlight...brilliant and silver-white...that's what really caught my attention initially. The lights changing position suddenly was also odd to me. Math is my worst subject, so as far as degrees traveled in those 10 seconds, I would guess, maybe, five or so...it was not moving very fast. I see many airliners coming and going from Greene Airport, in Warwick, RI, heading SW, the usual course. This craft was a steady due West. I was not clear about the Air Show, Peter. The low flying WWII planes that passed in front of me along the shoreline earlier could have been a prep for an upcoming show at Quonset Pt. airport in North Kingstown, an old US Navy airport, now home to some vintage planes, or from a show over Labor Day weekend, but I'll have to call Quonset to find out for sure. C-130s fly out of there daily on routine practice flights for the Air National Guard who use that airport. The size of the 'plane' relative to the size of the bright sun was consistent with a 707 or similar, though the craft reminded me more of the B-52 with more swept back wings There were two 'jet pods' per wing. The report you forwarded to me makes me think of a sighting I had earlier this summer while aboard the Block Island ferry heading to Block Island, RI (also known as New Shoreham, about 12 miles off of Pt. Judith harbor). That morning this past June while the boat was half way out I noticed an egg shaped 'thing' drifting about 500 ft above the water. It seemed fluid and changed shape, but not dramatically. I was about a quarter mile from it, observing it behind the boat. I dismissed the para sail idea as no boats were anywhere near it. It was white-grey and translucent..like a blob, or parachute folding and unfolding. I had no idea what it could be but no one else near me said anything (most people don't notice these things). I said nothing, but wished I'd had my camera with me. I watched it until it just seemed to disappear. I saw no 'spikes' on it but it was egg shaped but fluid. It was windy but the wind didn't seem to shift it...it just hung there in one space just above the ocean. I didn't report it since i thought there was some good explanation, but I perhaps should have. This occurred on a bright sunny morning about 11:30. My son was outside waiting for his school bus to come and he called me and said “Mommy, remember the thing we saw last year on July 4th? Well, it’s outside again." I was in shock, and immediately told him that I was going to look outside from my bedroom window to see if I can see it. I saw it and told him I was going to call him back, since I had to record it on my phone. I looked and saw the orange orbs. It was getting brighter, then it would fade, then reappear. I saw it was getting closer to where I saw an outline of a triangle and I started to get scared because this was the closest I have seen it and I do not want to see it that close because it creeps me out. I had to get ready for work so I had to stop looking outside. I went back to look out the window and it was back again. Outside was getting lighter and I saw it and recorded it. I recorded it 3 separate times on my phone. This is the second time we have seen this in our neighborhood. We have not received the photos, and have no means of contacting the witness, since she provides no contact, or personal, information. PD

After hurricane Irma we lost power and had a generator running for the 2nd night in a row. The windows were wide open and the blinds all the way open. I could easily see outside. At 3:30 in the morning. I noticed a white glow then an orb ascend towards the sky. It was about 100 feet from where i observed this. My wife saw the same thing the following night but much closer. No sound from the orb. Similar to the sighting in Lee County.

1 orange sphere appears from due south, bright like street light, slows then drifts east. Another appears,vector slightly more from west,then same as first, separation a few degrees. Third appears more from west or southwest,subsonic speed since no boom from any object. Approximately 20 degrees above horizon. Sky was completely overcast, most likely extreme outer edge of Irma tropical depression . Therefore maximum possible altitude, distance, speed determined by meteorological records. Right? No sound but me, the crickets, and some coyetes who may also have noticed. Video evidence captured on phone, a jittery unstable point of light with one other briefly apppearing on screen. Therefore Not hallucination or optical illusion reflection in eyewear. Timestamp info showed 37 second video clip ending at 03:24 hrs. Objects accelerated eastwards while fazing out their lights. Subjective/speculative follows: Had impression just passing through, then ral! ly at waypoint to regain proper formation similar to military SKE missions with cargo planes before establishing new vector. Definitely unnatural and under control. Impressive technology whatever the source or purpose. Optimistic feeling in the end. If they can do it then why cant we? No excuses. I want one badly can think of nothing else these days. How much does it cost? How does responsible parties recruit pilots? No Mans Sky has now gotten very boring,shallow, and only frustrates the envy. Final thought: All scepticism vanquished. Totally do-able. PS: Someone in Charlotte,NC. reported sighting of 3 orange foo fighters less than 90 minutes after my sighting. Same ones I saw?

Then, my eyes were drawn to the source of the light streaming through the slats of the wooden shudders that were closed almost completely but leaving a ½ inch gap at the top. I jumped out of bed and ran around the bed to get to the window, opened the top shudder and saw a roundish shaped, rotating flying object emitting an extremely bright, white strobe-like light. It was blinking. The object was rotating in a counterclockwise fashion and was traveling West to East. I was looking up through a 2nd story window at the back of the house, and it appeared to be so close, just at or above the tree line. I quickly ran to turn off the house alarm and ran outside to see if I could see it, but it was gone. When I saw it through the window, it was above a clearing in the center of the backyard. To the sides and towards the back end of the yard there are tall, skinny trees. When I came back into the house, I looked at the kitchen clock to note the time, and it was 2:36 am. I don’t know how I will ever be able to go back to sleep now. I wish I didn’t have a fan on next to me so I could have heard any sounds if there were any. I got online and researched to see if anyone else living in the vicinity had seen it as well, and found this site. I decided to report it because I know what I saw, and there is no other logical explanation for this. I can still see the object in my mind’s eye and it amazes me, but it frightens me at the same time. I was skeptical before but after witnessing this, I am a believer now. Letting dogs out at approx. 10:30 pm; power was out on property due to Hurricane Irma. Two generators were running on property. 2 lights appeared at about tree height, approximately 100' away. They moved around and left zig-zag white trailers behind them. After a couple of minutes, a third light came down from the sky from the south of where standing. The third light zoomed over to where the other two lights were located and remained in that area. All three stopped motion; it appeared that the three lights were communicating in some way. Became afraid and returned inside.

I took a picture of the night sky. When I looked at it 2 days later on the computer screen I noticed a laser like beam in the pic. Closer up, I noticed a Long Triangle shape craft in front of the beam. Probably some cool military craft, it had no lights in it. Planes get in my night shots all the time. This was different. My friend suggested I contact you. I am just curious what it is. Even it its just a satellite that would be cool. I just like taking pictures of the stars. But, things like this strike my curiosity. Two or three times a week, I visit East Hall on the campus of Western Michigan University (the old east campus, if you're familiar), an alumni center on a large hill (Prospect Hill) with an outdoor balcony area (facing East) that overlooks the city of Kalamazoo, MI. On a clear day, you're able to see signage on Sprinkle Road 7 miles away, so I'd say visibility is at least 7-8 miles from the balcony. It's a great place to watch sunrise, watch the clouds pass, or watch the air traffic over Kalamazoo: either the helicopters landing at one of the two hospitals or the planes coming into Kalamazoo International Airport, etc. In other words, East Hall has a great view of the entire city of Kalamazoo and its airspace. For more info and a photograph of the balcony area of East Hall go to: https://wikipedia.org/wiki/East_Campus_(Western_Michigan_University 7:05 p.m.-7:09p.m. As soon as I walked up to the wall/railing at the edge of the balcony area and looked out (see photographs), I immediately noticed an unusual, featureless, solid black, roughly acorn-shaped/spherical object on the horizon, completely stationary, approx. 1 thumb's width above the tree line, due East of the balcony area. I'm 5' 8'' tall and from where I was standing, the object appeared to be at eye level with me. I immediately began taking pictures. The black object appeared to be hovering, completely stationary, in between Kalamazoo and Battle Creek (26 miles due east of Kalamazoo). I was not able to gauge the exact distance, but the black object looked to be well outside the city limits of Kalamazoo, possibly as far east as Battle Creek. (Perhaps it's worth mentioning there's a military base with an airstrip in between Kalamazoo and Battle Creek: Fort Custer) The stationary, black object clearly and instantly stood out as unusual against the grayish clouds behind it. I've watched all sorts of air traffic from East Hall for years: helicopters landing at either hospital, air traffic coming in to Kalamazoo International Airport, hot air balloons, drones more recently, etc. This didn't look like any air traffic I've ever seen before. 7:09p.m.-7:16p.m. est The black object remained stationary for ~ 4 minutes, before I called a friend in Galesburg, MI, (in between Kalamazoo, MI and Battle Creek, MI, 7 miles due east) and asked her to go outside and scan the horizon. She didn't notice anything unusual in the sky. During this time, I began pacing the length of the balcony area to get different vantage points of the object and during this time it very gradually ascended a very short distance (less than a thumb's width) and traveled a very short distance in a northerly direction (moving less than a thumb's width to the left). Its motion was so subtle that I really wasn't able to see it with my naked eye, rather, repeatedly returning to the spot where I initially spotted the object to judge its progress. When the black object had finished moving (more or less coinciding with the duration of the call) the object was less than a thumb's width away from where I spotted it initially, having moved very slightly to the north (to the left)! and ascended very slightly. The object's size did not change during the duration of the sighting. 7:16p.m.-7:23p.m. I ended the call with my friend in Galesburg and began looking for a phone number for the Battle Creek Police Department, eventually finding a number for Calhoun County Sheriff's Department. The object remained stationary during this time. 7:23p.m.-7:28p.m. I called the Calhoun County Sheriff's Department to see if they were aware of any hot air balloons, large drones, etc. in the air over Battle Creek or the surrounding area. They were not aware of any. Almost immediately as I was put on hold to transfer dispatchers, at approx. 7:27p.m. the object began making a very gradual descent dropping straight down, until it dipped below the tree line and completely disappeared from view by 7:29p.m. "It's descending! It's descending," I said to no one. By the time the next dispatcher came on the line, the object had dipped below the trees on the horizon. 7:28p.m.-8:14p.m. I remained at the location of the sighting for almost an hour and the object did not reappear. During this time, I spoke with you, NUFORC, and made various calls to the Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Airport Unit and the Kalamazoo International Airport, in an attempt to check for any balloons, drones, statotinary objects, etc. tracked on radar in the area. The airport did not immediately return my call and the County Sheriff's Airport Deputy was unaware of any balloons, drones etc. in the area. We spoke with the witness via telephone, and found him to be quite eloquent in his description of the sighting, and serious minded. We have looked at the photos he has made available to NUFORC, and we see nothing at all in the photos that is discernible as a foreign object. If an unusual object is visible in any of the photos, it is little more than a small, and extremely vague, smudge. PD

Looking from my bedroom window to the west, I saw 6 sparkling lights in the sky. At first I thought that they were possibly airplanes, satellites, or twinkling stars, but they were bright and close enough together not to be planes. They were slowly moving downward in a southern direction. Two of them slowly faded away while holding their position, while the remaining four kept moving in a southern direction until I couldn't see them anymore. I've never seen sparkling lights in the morning sky moving in such a curved, symmetrical pattern. Interesting to watch, but odd.
