Often, I sit to to take nature pictures, of any sort, at the back of my yard that overlooks a river and a beautiful woods on the other side. This morning (10/15/17, 11:20 AM) I heard the whine of a large passenger airliner approaching from behind me. This is not uncommon, as I am more or less on the flight path for planes landing at Detroit Metropolitan Airport. But because of the whine, I thought it to be quit low, it was unusually low due to the very overcast sky. As it passed overhead, I thought I should have taken a picture of it, just to do it and then erase it, though I didn't. Then off to my right I saw what I thought to be a small bird fluttering along in the wind, a distance away, maybe a leaf, it didn't drop at all, must have been a bird? If I had tried to photograph it I'd of been able to zoom in on it and be able to tell. A few second later, looking now of to my left (which 3/4's of a mile away is the General Motor Tech Center) I see what might be another bird. Well, I'll see if I can find it in the viewfinder when zoomed in on and get it focused and get a picture of it. It, due to its distance, looked still quit small and a little strange, like its wings were drooped downward kind of low. I took the picture, quickly hit viewer to see how the picture looked, zoomed in on it and it look very strange, like an number 3. I then quickly pointed the camera to the north, then finding it again, took 4 more pitures. It looked like Number 3. It's hard to tell how how big it is, how far it was away and how fast it was moving. My guesses are it was ¾ to 1 ½ miles away. If it was ½ to ¾ of a mile away. Because of the time between the first picture and the second picture being about 30 seconds it was traveling at 30 to 50 mph. If it was a half mile away my guess is it was 10 to 12 feet long.

Not sure it was a UFO, but a huge yellow plane-shaped object buzzed my neighborhood. It looked like a jet, but had no wings an made a loud squeaking noise. I think it might have been a plane, but it had no wings! Source of report indicates that the date of the sighting is approximate. PD

Two objects, traveling southeast at extremely slow speed. One paused for several munites than began moving in formation with the other as they got closer together. Both were yellow in color, went from very dim to very bright several times. Made no sound. Light source was steady, not flashing or shimmering. Not like anything I've ever seen before.

Not saucer shaped but more triangle shaped. 5 lights in a triangle shape. spotted it moving but next time it moved it went south and then straigh up and it was gone. No plane can move that fast. this was on october 15 2017 at 2:00 am. I spotted it and my buddy looked and seen the same thing. i have seen quite a few but this one was very visible and thru binoculars i seen all the lights along with a plane flying south east of it and it was higher than the plane

On October 15, 2017, Sunday morning, between the hours of 1AM to 1:30AM, my wife's son (32 years of age), and I were outside the patio conversing about astronomy. I was showing him how to locate North star and the Big Dipper, with my green laser. It was getting cold that morning, he then went inside the house to put something warm. While he was inside the house, I panned to the Northeast sky and saw a bright orange flame-like ball from afar, about one mile away. As I was in awe, it approached towards my house, over the patio at zenith, I then grabbed my 9 x 63 binoculars, but could not focus on the object. The flame-like ball transformed into a boomerang shape, and it appeared to have a cloudy, blurry, fuzzy, hazy surrounding the fire-ball blades of the boomerang shape. It then came down to a lower altitude. I then shouted out to my wife's son to come outside and said, hurry-up!, that he needed to see this. I then passed him my 9 x 63 binoculars and told him to try and focus on it. He said he could not focus on it. As it was getting further away from my house, I decided to point my green laser at it, and it made contact to a solid green dot on the object. The object then disappeared about less than half mile out. We spoke via telephone with the witness, and he sounded to us to be quite serious-minded. We suspect that he is an excellent witness, and highly reliable. PD

Two red orbs the first one came down the beach line up in the sky at night and then it just went straight up into the sky and disappeared within a second and then the second Red Orb follow the beach line and look like it was coming right at us and then went straight up into the sky and disappeared

On the aforementioned date the Des Moines airport had to close due to heavy rain we had came here to purchase a car at a local dealership, afterwards we went and ate at Denny's and as we were walking out to the car after eating I looked north and at 45° about 500 to 800 ft in the air I saw it; a sphere that looked identical to the center petrospere on display at the Kelvingrove Gallery and Museum moving through the very well lit low hanging clouds from east to west against the wind.

Background: I am an engineer and work for a defense contractor. One of the ones that conspiracy people get really paranoid about, but I promise that I don't work on any spooky projects. My father was with me. He works for the government. Also, nothing too spooky in the conspiracy sense. I have a passing familiarity with military and commercial aircraft, he has a pretty detailed knowledge in being able to profile and identify aircraft. He also has one of those augmented reality aircraft identification/tracking apps and makes plane-spotting (along with hawk-spotting and star watching) part of his hobbies. The area it was observed has a clear view of traffic routes flying into IAD, DCA, and BWI, plus some other private airfields in the area and Andrews AFB. Observation: We had already seen 2 satellites pass over, 3 shooting stars (two parallel to the quite clearly visible milky way and one perpendicular), and probably a dozen aircraft. The night is super clear, probably the clearest we have had in a week. I was staring at the shocking amount of stars out but didn't immediately identify any planets I wanted to check out with a telescope or set of binos (silly, Saturn was right behind me). I walked around the truck and asked dad to turn off the garage lights, and when I turned around again there was a shockingly bright light in the sky that I hadn't noticed before. 'Not too strange, just didn't see it.' And then it started moving, looking like it was dropping down in the sky. 'Well, okay, it's flying away from us not quite in the traffic lanes'. It was moving pretty fast. Faster than the satellites, slower than some of the closer low flying planes that had red/white blinking lights. Also was just one steady tone, a cream-white color. Very bright, brighter than any of the stars by far, brighter than Venus or Mars. Then it hooked a starting to a reverse J, then into an L turn to the right. Then it started... jigging? Bouncing up and down, left and right. At first I thought it was my eyes playing tricks on me just because it was so bright, so I steadied myself, set my head down on the truck bed, and kept watching. Still jigging. Then another aircraft passed below it in my view and it and the stars around it were rock steady, not moving strangely at all, but that light was still jigging around relative to all of it. Dad got the AR app out and it showed a couple aircraft in the sky kinda near it, but one of the craft was not identifiable on the app. The other was a clearly visible commercial plane (the one I mentioned above). Then it started to fade. Didn't change color, just rapidly went dark over the span of about 10 seconds and that was the last we saw of it. Speculation: First guess was it was a flare because of how it faded out, its color, and how bright it was. But, the flare explanation didn't cover the jigging. It didn't look like any of the other aircraft in behavior or appearance, so I don't think it was one of the commercial craft. ((ADDENDUM FROM WITNESS)) Thanks for the reply. I asked a group what they thought, and they suggested I check the ISS orbit. NASA says I should have been able to see the ISS 65 degrees off the horizon for about 5 minutes, disappearing 19 degrees above ESE, at 19:28 pm. That would have lined up exactly with what I saw. That's going to be my going explanation. Thanks again! ((END ADDENDUM))

My husband and Daughter and I were on our way to the movies last night in the Kansas City area as a storm was rolling in. I took a picture of the massive storm clouds and when we looked at that picture a few minutes later, we noticed the light circle formation in the picture of the sky.

My husband, a friend, and I were sitting on the beach, facing towards downtown Charleston. I saw a very bright shape in the sky, a tall diamond. I said, "Do you all see that, oh it's already fading, nevermind." Right then, my husband snapped a picture, in the picture the object looks like a faded round blue orb.

On 3:40 pm in California, I went outside to my balcony because I had a headache all day and I wanted to lay down on the couch outside. As I sat facing northern Cali, I saw a falcon close by and behind it what appeared to be flock of ducks or gooses I thought to my self that are fleeing the fire in the north. As they came closer they started dispersing into groups of one two and threes, and they looked more like lights hovering rather than flying and moving smoothly in a harmonious balanced motion. I called on my daughter to get me my phone and to validate my sightings, she was not able to spit them, meanwhile my camera did. I have a video of 1:20sec long. After they crossed my apartment, I stopped the video and rushed outside to maybe take more videos, and see where they are going, but they went out of sight and towards the sun direction. I went back home and checked the video, they were clearly shown after I zoomed it while taking the pictures
