This occurred on 10/24/2017. Last night at approximately 2015 +/- 1 hour, I saw the following. The conditions were dark, the only light in the sky was coming from celestial bodies. I live in an area with a moderate amount of light pollution, but this was an abnormally clear night with no fog, significant humidity, or other factors which would further degrade visibility. If it helps to nail down the time, one of the San Diego Sheriff helicopters was flying fairly low in the southeast sky, within a one minute after my observation, going due north. That was a couple of miles southeast of where they normally pass by at that time, as the normal flight path is directly over my house. Its bright red light was on in addition to the mandatory flashing red light, so that was really easy to recognize, and the sound was familiar. The object itself was discernible at first only because it was blocking out the sky behind it. I thought it was an owl or flock of birds, but quickly realized that it was about the size of two aircraft carriers end to end, based on my estimate of the altitude. I believe it was at about 50,000 feet or higher. Unfortunately, there is just no way for me to guess the altitude. It may have been much lower and smaller than I believe, but it was completely silent and it would have taken a massive amount of engine power to maintain lift (although the shape was less than aerodynamic) on anything that size, so I am unable to comprehend it being any lower. I can't imagine anything being much higher, because of the massive size. My rational brain does not compute that. There was no apparent exhaust or visible means of propulsion, which probably would have been evident at lower altitudes. It was jet black, although there were six or seven evenly spaced, small, lighter areas on each side of the craft which provided enough contrast so that I could make out the perimeter and track the object itself rather than extrapolating the path based on the stars it was blocking out. It was all very dark and visually difficult to follow, but it was just visible enough for me to report objective facts with absolute certainty. It was cigar or diamond shaped; the ends were not blunt but there was no way to tell how the ends were specifically shaped from my perspective. It definitely had a length to width ratio of about 1:5 from my vantage point. It was traveling at a high speed regardless of altitude, covering a 20 degree arc of sky in about 30 seconds. It actually looked more like a speeding rail car than an aircraft, just smoothly gliding through the sky. The entire sighting lasted about 45 seconds. At that point, I was no longer able to visually track the object because of light pollution in its general direction. I was quite bewildered. MCAS Miramar is about ten miles west of the objects apparent position. They do operate various RADAR sites. Montgomery field is a municipal airport which has RADAR, 10 miles southwest, as is the international airport, Lindbergh Field, which would be twenty miles southwest of the apparent object position. Miramar maintains 24 hour "full service" jet intercept ability with at least two pilots and interceptor/fighter jets available at any given time, along with proper ground control and communications. That info was provided by the base Provost Marshall several years ago and is not speculative. It would be worthwhile to verify that again. I have seen an intercept; and can safely say that two fighter jets flying at 3,500 feet with afterburners on over a residential neighborhood is quite audibly (and visually) spectacular at night. This occurred minutes after a sighting which occurred with my family in about 2009. A report was filed on that sighting as well; with the in! vestigation ultimately suggesting that we may have seen the ISS in orbit. Last I checked, the ISS was not a self-luminous saucer shaped object making impossible maneuvers and scaring the hell out of my family and myself, only to be chased by jets less than three minutes after we saw it. But I'm no NASA engineer, that's for sure.

Could not determine altitude. Shape of contact was a flying wing. It had 5 to 7 small lights on forward edge of the wing. Color black. Contact was flying Northeast and turned hard and turned like a kite. Contact couldn't be heard over ambient sound. Contact appeared and turned before tracking into the night sky.

This evening, at 7:15 P.M., heading south bound on Hwy. 75, nearing exit 56, I saw what appeared to be a strange, low lying cloud. It was above the tree lines and roughly 1/2 the size of an 18 wheeler. The formation was moving east at a strange pace. I then noticed it start moving south at a faster pace and then move upward. I slowed down to watch it. It was at this time I saw the object lift upward again and then it vanished. I have a degree in science and I am a retired Earth science teacher. I've never observed a cloud shaped like this one or move in this manner. It was disk shaped, domed roof, charcoal grey and was the consistency of a cloud. Airplanes flying into DFW were in the background in the same southeast direction. I was using the movement and speed of the planes in the distance to compare the cloud/UFO.

I happened to look up while standing outside and I saw two lights that seemed to look like a part of a constilation. The began to rotate slightly clockwise while slowly disappearing to the south east night sky. The two lights seemed to pivot one another and then in an instant they vanished!

I grabbed my iPhone and opened Sky Guide app. The screen shot revealed on Sky watch said that there 2 rockets named C. 2228 and C. 1328 I guess the third was not there on sky watch.

3 bright lights, white with a blue-ish hint... Stationary forming a large triangular pattern, at about 45 degrees up from horizon, East/South-East looking toward Long Beach from West Los Angeles. Sliver of moon in South/SouthWest sky at same height from horizon. Saturn just barely visible near moon. The triangle configuration was about the size of the triangle of the tail of constellation Leo. These three "stars" were so bright, too bright to be planets at that time, stars were not yet visible at that hour. Thin coastal haze blocks out most faint stars here at night. These three bright objects remained in position for a few minutes, then just 'winked out' one by one. Vanished. No movement, no streaks, no coloration, no blinking. Just diminished over a few seconds, by degrees until gone.

I saw an egg shaped object last night between 1:02 am and 1:15 am over north Rowlett, Texas. It sat there for a long time, enough time for me to get my hubby up who used to be a pilot, but he wasn't very interested. My husband thought it was a star or planet and went back to bed. I grabbed my glasses. I went back out to watch it for about 10 more minutes. It seemed to be rotating and wobbling slightly and released what looked like steam a couple of times during that observation. I left, and then came back out 3 minutes later and it was gone. I don't know what this was, it was not any type of commercial aircraft. And during that time there was no commercial flights observed. I may have been 3 to 4 miles away, but that is only a guess. I couldn't get my cell phone to capture it due to the darkness. This was interesting for sure. Thank you.

I stepped outside to look at the clear moonless sky. My location is 10 miles west of Intercontinental Airport Houston IAH. I have never before seen anything in the sky that looked strange, but I saw a V or triangle shaped greyish object with no sound or lights against a dark sky gliding pretty fast north to south, then turning southeast when directly over me. It flew perfectly smoothly and was headed in the general direction of downtown Houston or Ellington Air Force Base about 25 miles away. Its form was static like a plane and seemed to be gliding at a few hundred feet, or perhaps flying too high to hear. At age 70 this was a first for me - I don't believe in extra-terrestial UFOs, but this was truly amazing to see.

I was alerted to the presence of a low altitude helicopter. I opened my window and looked up to see a helicopter at about 600ft. altitude flying directly below and behind a large triangle object at about 1500ft. altitude. The helicopter and triangle object were traveling Eastward. The helicopter was lit underneath and appeared to be military, possibly UH-1N. The triangle object was very slow moving at about 50 knots. The triangle made no perceptible sound. The triangle had large, round, diffuse white lights on each corner, a large faint yellowish/orange light in the center, and a small strobing red light off center to the rear of the craft. I estimate the size of the triangle to be about 300ft. from corner to corner. The helicopter broke course and headed Westward at low altitude along the Allegheny river then down the Ohio river while the triangle continued slowly Eastward until out of view. October 22 2017 at 22:55-ish · I witnessed something funky in the sky tonight. It appeared to be a triangular shaped craft with 3 large white lights. (These white lights were way larger than typical "position marker," lights.) The white lights were on all three "points of the triangle." One on the leading edge/nose of the craft and one on each other tip of the triangle. These lights were all flashing in unison at a rate of roughly once every 1 to 1.5 seconds. The clouds were relatively low that night and the craft was just above the cloud line, but only about half to 2/3's high as the traditional aircraft that flew over about 5 minutes later, between approx 23:00 and 23:10. (Give or take 10 minutes.) (I had no trouble seeing the red and green position marker lights on the wing tips of the regular airplane, even though it was significantly higher in altitude.) The sketchy part was that the triangular craft flew into these thicker clouds, and from my vantage point, disappeared as it went behind a large evergreen tree. After waiting for about 30 seconds, I was astounded that it did NOT come out the other side of the denser clouds, (or the tree.) I even walked to a different vantage point to change the angle I was viewing from, so that I could see beyond the tallest evergreen, and the craft didn't reappear. I continued to watch for at least another 10 minutes, but the only other thing I saw was a standard airplane. Since it was dark, I can't tell you what it was or even how many engines the standard plane had. The fact that the white lights that were flashing, were far larger (at least 10x bigger, and that's accounting for the difference in altitude too,) and flashing much more slowly than the airplane I saw with the red and green position lights. Kind of weird, huh? Kind of bummed that I didn't get a peek at the craft itself, just the lights in the sky. Oh yes, the of the 3 lines that made up the triangle, the two that met at the nose were equal in length, the trailing edge of the triangle, that line was a little bit longer, making the craft not quite an equilateral triangle, but rather an isosceles triangle. (Sorry, geometry is not my strong suit, nor are things like judging angles and altitude. I am hoping that the low cloud cover and the aircraft that flew over afterwards will give you more to go on.) I did locate an image that looks very similar to what I saw on google images and will send you the link if you would like.

My friend pointed to the low sky above us, “What is that?” He didn’t have his glasses on. A large heron? No it was gliding, low and quietly. I had to re-adjust my focus for it not to seemingly shapeshift. It was dimly lit with 6 large circular, effervescent lights. “That is a craft- a UFO” It felt far away yet very low. No size description adequately captures it. It did not carry an ominous vibe, a silent observer. It made me feel grounded. We ran around to the front of the house, it had gone. I asked him to draw what he saw, He drew a boomerang shape and said it had a soft green glow. I drew mine, a chevron with 6 lights. We both have never seen a UFO before.

A few planes were moving near the object as well, so I know compared to the planes that I saw, this object was not a plane. The planes that were also in the sky came into view and left like an ordinary plane, but during the timespan of those planes moving, this object had barely moved. These planes were also very close in proximity to each other, and seemed to either pass over or pass by the object. There were also no other planes that passed by once the object had disappeared. It was too close to be a satellite and too high to be a drone. I had taken a video on Snapchat and sent it to a friend but I unfortunately completely forgot to save the video. About 5-10 minutes after first seeing it, it slowly faded away.

Witness a double chevron shaped formation of vibrating lights. Each arm had 3 lights (12 total). Estimated altitude 2 miles. Traversed 90 degrees of sky in 2-3 seconds, estimated speed 5000-7000 MPH. Lights were unlike any plane, helicopter, drone or any other type of craft I have ever seen. The lights vibrated in a manner that made it appear warped, almost fuzzy. I immediately filed a report with mufon Case number 85712. Lights appeared to be a silvery/green color, again distorted by warping/vibrating effect. Object was coming out of the nne and traveled to the south at an angle of about 80 degrees at it zenith to my perspective. No noise, no trail, no bemas or anything of the sort.

Stepped outside for a chore, looked up and saw a rather huge, fiery ball of something moving at a high rate of speed. At first I thought it was a comet, but it never seemed to get smaller and picked up in size and color as well. if i were to accurately describe it, i'd say it was as if a plane was on fire, still in flight, headed towards Roswell, NM...

I was looking to the north from my back yard, in West Hills California, a little bit above the tree line, I estimate 25 to 35 miles out, I noticed a light that I didn’t really think much of at first. But then I realized it was moving around odd way and it was a constant light that was not blinking off and on, it was bright and greenish in color. It moved up then down, then to the left then, up again, then to the right, then down, then to the left, then down, then to the right, then up. These up, down and side to side maneuvers were all sharp right angles. Then it disappeared as if the light just turned off.

My fiancé and I saw at about 8:10PM in Redondo Beach heading Southeast, silently, and at a high rate of speed at low altitude, two circles side by side which were obviously part of the same structure, and were the bottom of a larger rectangular body. Driving down country road and noticed 3 white lights in a triangle up ahead. Thought it was an airplane until it came to a complete stop above us. Then as we stopped to view it, it picked up speed with ease and continued flying straight ahead, as if it were a car stopping and going again. It didn't lag at all or shake, it hovered perfectly still. There was no sound at all.
