A small light initially about the brightness of Mars or Venus, but as if out of focus which increased in magnitude while slowly moving in our direction approximately south to north. We were in Santa Fe looking south and it appeared the light was just east or NE of Albuquerque and south of Santa Fe. Then the intensity of the light increased and a haze was illuminated around the light as if something was shining a light inside a cloud or fog bank. The sky was very clear though and stars were visible adjacent to the light and haze so this did not appear to be a cloud being lit up. The light appeared to move east slowly at this point. The size of the haze increased. I went to get my phone to take video, but when I returned in less than a minute, the illuminated haze was spreading out and the light was fading and appeared to be moving away toward the south. The it was dark where it had been and stars were visible where the illuminated haze had been.

They floated from north to the south slow for almost 10 minutes (I say float because of how slowly they moved). They started in the both just floating straight up, then turned south. They flew with the two in front horizontally, and the two in back followed vertically.

Speed. estimated 2,000 mph. Size (estimated): size of a football field, or larger. No sound. No Sonic Boom. Heading North coming from the South. It Headed North for 10 seconds then barrell rolled and spun to the left in the West Direction. When it did this I was able to see that to was more of a Pyramid Shape with lights all around but the lights were not that bright, there was a section of lights across the middle also. I've been in the Aviation industry for 30 years. This was not a conventional Aircraft, we have nothing that can move at those angles at that high speed. It was absolutely Amazing to see. Magnificent.

Me and another federal police officer starting our shift noticed a bright white sphere shaped object moving slowly in a southwestern track. The object first looked like perhaps a satellite, yet all around the object was cloudy surrounded by what appeared to be mist, however there were no clouds in the night sky. We could not conclude what it was. We did not get a picture but it was slow enough to watch for about 4 to 5 minutes.

I saw 1 object heading southeast. It looked like a comet but was moving rapidly. The "tail" looked like an extra fluffy contrail that glowed faintly blue. The "head" was slightly brighter. I didn't hear any sound associated with it. Possible result of launch of Space X rocket from Cape Kennedy? PD

It crossed my mind that I may be about to witness a UFO, but I discarded it and kept walking my dog. I'm not sure why I had this impression. it was weird. The cloud was quite bright and appeared to be about 3 football stadiums in size, maybe 2000 to 3000 feet AGL. The crowd appeared to be about 5 miles away due south from where I was. it appeared as though either the moon or an aircraft was behind the cloud and illuminating it. The light source was behind the top of one tree, I could see light through the branches, but not make out what exactly the light was. I continued to walk towards the wash and continued to look at the cloud. About 10 seconds later the cloud came into view better. I noticed that it had a fan shape and could start to see more of the light source through the branches. The cloud was a wispy light cloud that appeared to be in a kind of Japanese fan shape. Approximately 5 to 10 seconds later the entire cloud and light source came into view. The light was centered in the corner of the fan, however still obscured by the branches and the cloud. Approximately 5 seconds later, I came to the end of the road and could get a more clear look at the cloud. The cloud had started to dissipate and the light dim. No more than 3-5 seconds later the cloud had shrunk to half of its size and the light dimmed considerable. No more than 3-5 seconds later than that there was nothing in the sky where I had been looking. It was a cold, clear, crisp light with no other fog, clouds or obscuration. The moon had not yet risen, I did not notice any helicopters, aircraft or weather balloons in the proximity that may of created the light source. Possible result of launch of Space X rocket from Cape Kennedy? PD

6 February 2018 starting at approximately 6:25 ending 6:33 PM PST Garden Grove, CA., Approx. 33.796N, 117.963W At approximately 18:30 PM PST, I was in the front yard of my parents' house in Garden Grove, CA. It was an hour after sunset (17:28 PM) so the sky was dark. There is a street light directly across the street plus an outside light that was on and the lights from inside. From this position, close to the house and with those lights it was difficult to see any other objects in the sky or immediately determine the visibility conditions. I happened to look up over the roof of the house towards the south-southwest and I noticed a light which was brighter in the center and spread out to the sides. It looked similar to moonlight shining through clouds. My best guess at its exact initial azimuth position would be about 195-205 degrees and about 40-45 degrees above the horizon. I didn't think it unusual at first and pay much attention to it since I wanted to finish working as quickly as possible. A few minutes later I noticed that it was still in the same location. Still I didn't think it unusual and without thinking it through assumed it to be the crescent moon or the planet Venus behind some haze or a thin layer of clouds. Those are the only two objects that could be bright enough to shine through haze or light clouds anywhere near that part of the sky. After a few more minutes of it being there I wanted a better look. I walked around to the west side of the house. The light was still in about the same part of the sky. This is when it really grabbed my attention since I better seeing conditions in a darker area.I was facing directly south and realized that it wasn't the Moon behind a cloud or haze. It wasn't Venus either which is never in that part of the night sky. I'm a long time amateur astronomer (40 years) and know my way around the night sky well. At times, Venus can be over 40 degrees above the horizon after sunset. But it is never in that part of the sky where this light was. The Moon is excluded also. It was a week past full moon and now in the waning phase. Moonrise didn't occur until 00:09 the next day. So what was it? On my phone, I pulled up heavens-above.com sky chart for the current sky to see if somehow I had forgotten a bright star in that area. This took a total of about 2 minutes. That part of the sky, contains the constellation Eridanus which has no bright stars. When I looked up again, the light had moved towards the south and was continuing to do so. It was now about 20 degrees to the right of Rigel, (0.18 mag.) the brightest star in Orion, and about its same distance above the horizon. At that time Rigel was 42 degrees above the horizon. The light was now clearly moving but not what I would have called rapidly. It had a white veil or a mist trailing it that covered 2-3 degrees. It looked very much like what some call an orb and the veil trailing it much like that of a rocket's exhaust backlit by the sun as it ignites the 2nd stage. I knocked on the glass door but didn't see my parents. I walked away from the back of the house into the backyard for a better look. It was dark enough there to see other stars and only then was I able to see that the sky was clear with excellent visibility. The wind was calm. The light continued moving slowly in SSE direction with the white veil trailing it at about the speed of a commercial jet nearing cruising altitude. I know that the size, altitude and speed of an object are difficult to determine against an open sky with no objects for comparison. I won't attempt to do that here. I recorded some video with my phone but by then it was too dim to show up. Looked like a comet but it was white. Looked as though it was coming through some clouds but we did not have any clouds this evening. I saw it while driving on my way home. When I got home, my husband was outside looking at it. It was over the sky in south east Boise. It was high and then went low and disappeared. No, it was not a plane. It reminded us of a comet. Very beautiful. I tried to take a video with my cell phone but it was too dark to do so. Possible result of launch of Space X rocket from Cape Kennedy? PD

Carlotta, CA February 6, 2018 18:29 to 18:30 PM Pacific standard time. Looking south about 30 degrees above the horizon I observed a glowing object. With binoculars I was able to make out two short gas jets. It moved southeast and as it approached the horizon the two gas jets became much longer. I think it could be a booster rocket reentering the atmosphere. It started out bright and small and became much longer with twin tails and more diffuse. At its longest it was about 1/2 degree long (about the width of the moon). It got to about magnitude -2 or -3 quite a much brighter than Sirius. Possible result of launch of Space X rocket from Cape Kennedy? PD

At approximately 7:00 pm, Mountain Standard Time, my brother, sister-in-law, husband and myself had stepped out on our back porch to chat a bit. It was a clear night for viewing the stars. My brother was looking to the north from our backyard and stated "what is that?" We all then proceeded to look north and noticed one circlular shaped object moving very steady and slowly. The object was engulfed in a steady white light. We reasoned that it was approximately 5,000 feet high and approximately 5 to 10 miles away. As we were observing the object we tried to reason that it was a traditional aircraft but my husband and brother (who had both served in the Airforce) knew it was not. The light continued to glow steadily with no blinking at all. Furthermore, it seemed to be gliding in a steady way, making no turns whatsoever. We continued to watch this object fly from the west to the east (towards Boise, Idaho), for approximately 2 minutes and then it just disappeared. It was there, and then it was not. It seemed to just fade out in front of our eyes. Also, approximately 5-10 seconds later, after the object disappeared, we noticed an airplane with blinking lights headed in the direction we had last seen this craft. Unlike the white glowing object, we knew the second craft was a tradional airplane as the lights were blinking. Not sure exactly what this object was but we all believe that it was not a traditional airplane. It was quite an experience to see this object.

Saw a oval object with 3 very bright round yellow lights. This object was about above trees in an area that also has fields. Was right at dusk, but still light out. It hovered motionless until I lost it behind the trees as I was traveling in my vehicle. Was so bright that others on the road had to have seen it as there was very heavy traffic at the time.

looked to the south as I always do , and noticed a bright light getting brighter and moving a tail stared forming, I ran and grabbed my daughter and showed her by then its tail was very large lighting the sky up, it almost looked like what was seen in la a few months ago that supposedly was space ex, this was to the south going west to east and id say traveled for 5 minutes before it was gone

I live near Hagerstown Airport and I walk around my neighborhood at night and am up early in the morning. I entered a date and time for this form but I see strange objects flying in the area often. Usually I see a stationary light in the sky just above the tree line that looks like one set of lights that you'd see on a sports field. It stays in one place for several minutes and then slowly starts to move across the sky, always quite low. There is usually no sound, though sometimes I hear a very low wooshing sound. I also hear prolonged wooshing noises late at night when I'm in bed. They do not move away quickly, but seem to stay in the area for several minutes. I look but see no lights or anything which surprises me because it sounds like something is hovering very low above the house. My entire family have been woken up from these sounds before. I assume these are maybe experimental aircraft since I'm less than a mile from the airport, and I know there are restricted areas there and lots of stories about stuff like this, particularly about the Sierra Nevada Corporation. I should add that I only see and hear these strange things after dark, so maybe they want to keep things secret...

Saw a strange light hovering across lake marion from the summerton side by the I-95 bridge. I was outside on my porch smoking. I didn't have my glasses on but as I looked out across the lake I noticed an odd bright white light. I stepped inside to get my glasses so I could get a better look and sure enough it was a bright light that appeared to move just a little and I could see a faint red light every now and then. I watched it for about 5 minutes then had my wife come out and look at it. She mentioned it moving before I did, even though I thought it was moving before she came out. I have no idea how far away it was but it must have been quite a ways away. It was a cloudy night and no other stars were visible on that side of the lake. Also, it didn't appear to be high enough in the sky to have been a star. I thought at first it may have been an aircraft heading toward the charleston airport or the air force base in Charleston, but it never moved. I worked on F-16's for 10 years in the active duty USAF and know it def wan't an aircraft as it never moved across the sky. It would oscillate every now and then, but randomly. I have no idea what it was. I was out smoking again tonight 2/6/2018 and looked in that direction and there's nothing there today. Don't know how long it was there, but it def wasn't an aircraft.

When we were watching it, at about 70 degrees from us I saw something unexpected. A light appeared just to the south of the station. It looked just like a star had appeared from nothing and lasted maybe 2 seconds. I didn't say anything about it, thinking I would tell my wife later. About 5 seconds later it appeared again. Same thing, looking like a star and lasting about 2 seconds before disappearing again. Again I didn't say anything. Then my wife says did you see that light. She said she saw it twice, just the same as I witnessed it. It was about 1 inch distance if you took a ruler to measure it the sky, south of the station. I don't know what it was, it just blinked on and then off twice.

Heading South on my way to work and seen a green cigar shaped object go horiziontally across the sky from west to east. It was going so unbeliably fast. Was going through the clouds and was gone before my eyes in about 5-6 seconds. Looked around at any other drivers heading south that had maybe seen it as well but no one looked like they had seen anything.

I was driving along Granbury Road in a NE direction approaching Interstate 20. I witnessed a bright bluish white ball in the sky. My speed was about 40 mph. I looked out the driver window and about 30 degrees above my head this bright round object was moving quickly through the sky in a straight line parallel to the ground. It was moving at least twice as fast as I was. If it was a long distance from my car it could have been extremely fast. I think there were clouds in the sky, but I’m not sure. Before it disappeared it turned into 2 lines parallel to the ground, one thicker than the other, then quickly vanished.
