Golden glowing aircraft with Gold/orange transparent ball on tail end. Flew slowly about 300 feet in the air with no noise what so ever. I could not focus on it. I have great vision and every time I tried to focus on it. It became more obscure. Less than 2 min later. A helicopter with a large (white) light flew the same path. The helicopter was really loud. My wife and I were about to go into the house at about 22:30h. A few steps ahead of me she called back me, "Honey, what's that?", fully expecting me to provide a comfortable and critical natural explanation for the large and very bright light in the sky. Now standing at the front of the house and facing North I see a very bright sphere of light that I first assume is either a very near and low-flying aircraft or a very large fireball coming straight at us. I am an amateur astronomer and cosmology buff for over thirty years. I am critical nearly to the point of cynical, yet I find myself refusing to admit that what we saw was anything other than unfamiliar or not earthly technology. Looking North from the Niagara River the object appeared about 5 degrees above Polaris and appeared to be getting closer as its size and brilliance increased. A very bright orange/yellow it was similar in size and somewhat in color to the street light on the road in front of our house before it stopped approaching (or increasing in size). It outshone the streetlight only seven meters away. Until that moment I was getting a little fearful that this may be a city killer asteroid coming straight at us. There was no sound and no trail behind it. It was headed straight at us or it wasn't a massive bolide at all. It appeared to slow or stop so the bolide question was answered. I opened the door to the house and yelled for the children (ages 8 and 30) to rush outside. The object, now at its nearest, would no longer appear to be coming Southward toward us, but slip Westward at great speed, then stop, then slip on over some more, then stop. It did this about eight times before remaining stationary. The whole time it scintillated as the stars do above a moist sky. The four of us stood there with our eyes trained on it while it begin to shrink and dim in spurts as though it may have been moving away from us the way it had been moving to the West with the jerky movements. With each successive "pulse" it grew smaller and fainter. It didn't seem like it was moving away. It appeared more like it was just shrinking and fading. I have no idea of how large or distant the object was. I'm no expert at scale. I can only relate the scale by saying the object at its most brightest and biggest was easily as large as my thumbnail with my arm outstretched in front of me. I spent some of the night and this morning looking for news of sightings over anywhere from Niagara Falls to Ottawa. I just can't seem to guess how far it was away. The light surrounded the object. High humidity would have easily revealed beams of light from lamps as it did for every other passing aircraft that night and most nights. There were no beams, just a large, very bright scintillating light moving awkwardly through the sky. As I told my wife before sleep, I was so excited to have witnessed the event. I didn't know what I invited my children to see. Did I call my little boy outside to witness the end of his life by an asteroid, or was this an alien craft and what were their intentions? It was all very exciting and terrifying at the same time. I have never felt like that before. Skeptics don't get much excitement. All my life I have wanted to see a "UFO". Two weeks ago my wife and I and one of our sons observed a daytime object and actually had time to retrieve two sets of binoculars for further observation. I was unable to explain what I saw. It looked like a large building made of up compartments (cubes) or maybe like a bunch of buildings stuck together. It wasn't round anywhere. The Sun reflected brightly from only one small part at a time as it moved across the sky. The rest of it appeared a dark grey or black. Without binoculars it simply appeared to be a small ball of light as you would expect from sunlight reflected from a metallic object. It caught our attention in the first place because it was so high in the sky yet didn't appear to be moving (like all the rest of high-flying air traffic was doing). It did move large distances in quick moments somewhat like the ball of light last night. We lost track of it after each quick shot across some distance, then found it s! tationery ahead of the direction it seemed to go. We lost it for good the third time. I told my son, "You are so fortunate to have witnessed such a thing. That could very well have been people from another world!". Wow! I never expected something like that to come out of this skeptic's mouth. My childhood dream of seeing a UFO is now fulfilled - twice in one month. Although my son (age 8) also has his own telescope and a very good knowledge of astronomy and cosmology, I don't think he entirely grasps the measure of what we witnessed together. I really don't know exactly what we saw, but I'm still sort of in a state of shock. I woke up still excited from last night's events. My wife and I can't stop remarking at how last night's viewing was the first time I did not have my cell phone with me. I could have recorded video...

June 23, 2014 · 1:00 AM · TRIANGLE

Toronto (Canada), ON · Canada

June 23rd, 2014, just past midnight of a very beautiful clear night, I was sitting out on the terrace of my 13th floor waterfront condo enjoying the night sky out over Lake Ontario. It was near 1:00 am when three round disk shaped objects floating through the sky caught my attention. The disks were dark grey in colour, but visible enough to be seen in contrast to the black sky beyond. While startled by the objects, I was able to quickly focus and observed the 3-disks were located at the vertices of a very large triangle-shaped pitch black silhouette craft, silent running and gliding over Lake Ontario near the Toronto Islands and the Eastern Channel. I observed the craft for only about 5 seconds as it moved west to east parallel to the waterfront in a relatively slow gradual descent from a position of about 15-20 degrees above the horizon covering approximately 200m or so before disappearing into the night sky. I would like to know if anyone else had a similar sighting on this night or any other.

New Liskard (Canada), ON · Canada

I was driving south on Hwy. 11 at 3:27 am about 10 km north of New Liskard, Ontario, when a sudden flash of light almost like a camera flash came from the sky when I looked up through the top part of the windshield I noticed a light that looked like a star only 4 or 5 times bigger and 10 or 20 times brighter it stayed in the same spot for about 20 or 30 seconds and the excellerated almost straight up and got smaller and dimmer and completely disappeared within about half to a full second. The Sirius radio had also lost its signal during the time that the light was visible.

June 20, 2014 · 11:00 PM · FIREBALL

Beeton (Canada), ON · Canada

Driving home from work heading south on 15th side road, six random orange "fireballs" appeared from the west and formed a line slowly floating to the north. Slowly fading out one by one. Then a minute later the same thing happened with 5 more fireball like objects forming a triangular pattern. Again slowly fading out, during this time a plane flew past the objects so I could tell they were not a plane. They were moving extremely slowly, once they started heading north.

June 14, 2014 · 11:15 PM · FIREBALL

Milton (Canada), ON · Canada

At approximately 11:15 pm on Saturday, June 14, 2014. I was on my way out to the store with my daughter and noticed 3 very large bright orange/reddish lights in a triangular shape in the sky, it was located Milton north area. It was moving rapidly going south into Milton. One of the bright lights disappeared right before our eyes,it was a bit scary to see it vanished. There weren't any sounds coming from these objects, so we knew if was not 3 planes or 3 helicopters. They were flying lower than the typical air plane. It was very shocking to see this because I don't believe in UFOs, but this sighting was REAL! I can't stop talking about it because I have never experienced this before. If anyone out there had the same experience in Milton on this day, please share it... I also have a video of it if anyone would like to see it.

June 14, 2014 · 10:45 PM · RECTANGLE

Paris (Canada), ON · Canada

UFO sighting Paris Ontario, Canada. 14 June 2014, 10:45 pm, give or take 15 min. (approx time) straight line N to S. First I thought it was a flying lantern or sightseeing balloon (but it was a dark clear sky and I assume they don't fly at night) as it was bright orange and flickering. It at first seemed to be rising straight up from N of the town as I was facing N, then I realized it was high in sky approaching me (flew directly over the Fair grounds where I was camped). (Still possible it did rise straight up then gradually increase altitude as it approached me.) I think within a few seconds, it was a few thousand feet up, it gradually disappeared in size and brightness into the sky in the S at about a 20 degree angle from "straight above me" or about 70 degrees from the horizon if 90 degrees is straight up. Silent. About same speed as a jet airliner, or faster. Took less than a minute for whole sighting (est. did not time it) rectangular, length to width ratio not as long as a cell phone (a bit more square) orange, fuzzy edges, within it taking up about half or 40 percent of the total area was a fire or flame, aiming down but the flame was like looking directly at a jet plane exhaust or looking into the flaming nozzle of a gas fired device. (flickering edges) The centre of the orange flame was brighter, lighter color than orange. The edges with the flames were slightly more intense color than the rectangle background, more of an orange-red. see Photoshop image. I have exaggerated the yellow edges to try to indicate the flame, there were no such yellow lines in the UFO. The flaming star rotates around the rectangle clock-wise about every 1.5 to two seconds (without stopping.

June 14, 2014 · 10:20 PM · FIREBALL

Courtice (Canada), ON · Canada

We were sitting in my garage. I noticed a large object coming toward us. It looked like a large ball of very orange fire. I waited a minute to tell my friends who did not notice it at first. Once I did we were all in awe as it was very unusual. It was quite large and slow moving at first. It processed in our direction. We watched and took a video as it flew over us and kept heading in a south ward direction. It then started to flicker and sped up very fast so it was a small dot in the sky then disappeared. We continued to look for it for a few seconds and it did reappear briefly then finally dissapeared for good. We took a video of it flying over us.

While working in the N.W myself and my work colleague noticed a rectangular object falling from the sky. It was spinning and tumbling as it fell. The object was reflective and appeared to be quite large because we could see it until it disappeared along the horizon. It was moving in a southern direction faster than it fell towards the ground.

Calgary/Regina (2 hrs. east of Calgary)(Canada), SK · Canada

I was sitting in the back of our vehicle on a road trip to Regina in Saskatchewan in Canada, we were about 2 hours out of Regina travelling east from Calgary. I saw the very typical fleet formation way way up in the sky, i was looking at the vast prairie skyline, when i noticed a large number of lights, moving together as one swarm/fleet, they were not guess, they had a continuous average size but sometimes two or more of them began coalescing into a singular object of the same size as one on it own.. they were spherical balls of light moving at a great speed. I've seen videos of the same kind of "fleet" all over the world. This was my first time seeing something like this.. my friend could see them also but his internal filters made him not want to look for more than a second and dismiss them as Geese.. they were not geese..

Powell River (Canada), BC · Canada

My cousin and I were on top of a mountain we climbed to watch the sunset. We were looking out over the ocean which over looks Texada Island and Vancouver Island. We both noticed just over Texada there appeared to be a bright orange ball in the sky. It never dropped height, it just stayed in one place and got brighter and brighter and bigger with a bit of pulsation to it. After speculation of what it could be, we both felt very unpleasant, like some kind of unnatural phenomena was right in front of us. This light stayed for about 45 seconds growing in light, it appeared like it was coming straight at us because of how the light was getting bigger and bigger until it just vanished into thin air, leaving a sparkly humid looking, very small contrail, which was most definitely not from a meteor. We spoke via telephone with the witness, and he seemed to us to be quite responsible sounding, and sober minded. We suspect that the witness is a capable observer, and a reliable source of information. PD

I was having a smoke out the window, which faces east, and I noticed a moving star. At first I thought it was a satellite; I could see it moving behind the spotty cloud cover at a steady pace. But then it changed direction very suddenly. In my field of vision it had been moving right to left, angled slightly downward, but then it swooped a bit before traveling up. After this it seemed to move in short spurts, and from the curve of travel seemed to be headed my way. The pace seemed to even out as it neared Cassiopeia, vaguely towards the Big Dipper and soon out of sight, the exit path less than 90 degrees above where it was coming from when I saw it. It was definitely faster than a plane. It was giving me the creeps because it didn't fit with what I knew, so I went to turn on the computer (and make sure my shit was locked up) to reassure myself that it was a satellite. It was still gone when I checked a half hour later. It just looked like a normal star or satellite of medium brightness, but searching for moving stars isn't turning up anything but "it's a UFO", so here I am.

Oakville (Canada), ON · Canada

Every night Me and my co-worker eat lunch together outside. Being a amateur astronomy I always do a scan of the sky it was a clear beautiful clear sky. I quickly noticed almost straight up a light moving at about 3x the speed of a passenger plane at I guess cruising altitude. I would say similar to when you see them with contrails. Object description - 3 Points of light possibly a triangle or round. No Sound. To high to see any details other than the lights. It was very surreal. How could something move so fast? It looked so unnatural. We followed it as much as we could until it made a half circle turn! SO Weird. After the half turn it went past the roof of our company and could no longer follow it. Direction traveled was West to East and than turned North. This was my first sighting of a UFO, as was my friends who was left mystified. ((name deleted))

June 3, 2014 · 10:45 PM · LIGHT

Four Falls (Canada), NB · Canada

UFO 06/03/ 14 June 3/ 2014 approx 23:45 hours ADST, myself my wife and her two cousins saw an extremely bright yellowish white light in the sky moving at a speed which would be by my estimation 1/3 as fast as the ISS. I saw it first at about 22:30. I just happened to look up `and I saw almost directly over us headed then in a northerly direction a solid yellowish white light just kind of moving through the night sky. It was the brightest thing by far in the clear starlit sky which was complimented by a crescent moon to the west. The funny thing was that as soon as I spoke to point the object out to the three women who were standing outside with me, the bright light blinked out and the object now was indistinguishable from the surrounding stars except for the fact that it was moving at the same speed and heading North. One of the women said “a satellite?” I said “I guess so, but it was really, really bright just a second ago...I mean really bright.” We turned back to the conversation about trees and bears and such things. After about 10 minutes went by I looked up again there was another one or the same one? Really, there is no way to tell. But this time it kept its spot light intensity and seemed to slow as it passed directly over head (it felt kind of creepy as if it somehow may have seen us watching us- somehow) but it kept on moving due east at a speed which I described earlier as that which would equal approx 1/3 less than the international space station (ISS). The four of us watched it as it silently flew?, floated?, drifted ? across the sky until it was lost in the eastern horizon. No navigation lights no sound, just a yellowish white light about the size of a soft ball when held at arms length. We have no idea what it was, what it was doing or where it was from. Upon returning home I went to the computer and looked up the time when the ISS would be flying over the area. I found that it was scheduled to fly over Caribou Maine at approx 00:30 which is about 15 miles away as the crow flies so there is no way that it was the ISS that we saw at 22:45.
