At approximately 21:30 I was looking at the moon which was in the southern hemisphere approximately 60° above the southern horizon. The sky was clear. I noticed what appeared to be a satellite / point-light emerge from the NNW travelling in a SSE direction. It appeared to be travelling somewhat faster than a typical satellite. I followed its course for about one minute until it faded from view essentially due south from me, approximately 30° above the southern horizon. Approximately one minute later, a second satellite / point-light emerged from the same NNW direction with a trajectory and velocity identical to the first light. Approximately one minute after that, a third satellite / point-light emerged from the same NNW direction again identical to the first two. There was no sound. I looked at the third light through handheld binoculars but could not distinguish any features or details. The fact that all three lights faded from view in the southern hemisphere well above the horizon (perhaps 30° above the horizon) suggested they were at a very high altitude. Approximately 30 seconds after the third light faded from view, a similar light emerged from the SSE and appeared to travel due north, where it faded from view.

Around 22:00 hrs I went outside and looked North and was observing the Big Dipper. At that time I saw several orb like bright figures dancing in the sky above me. At this time I had observed 6 and all were headed South East. At this time I texted my 15 year old daughter to come outside. Upon her arrival we witnessed approximately 6 more of these orb like crafts. Although all headed South East some would quickly accelerate higher up in the sky only to almost bounce back to their original location. After about 20 minutes the activity died down. We decided that we should go back in the house but decided to take a few more minutes to observe. At 22:54 we suddenly observed an enormous boomerang shaped object slightly to the East of our location. I would guess that this object was approximately the width of a football field. This object was approximately 500 feet above us. This object was silent and did not have any lights. I am assuming that it was metallic in colour as it seemed to reflect the night sky. I immediately felt all of the hair on my body stand up. It moved very slowly Southbound. We observed this strange craft for 10 seconds before it vanished completely. At approximately 23:00 hrs we observed a helicopter in our area which was strange for so late at night.

35-50 moving stars. Many travelling in a straight line but not in the same orientation. Eg. String of 8 to 12 travelling NW to SE, string of 3-5 travelling W to E, etc. This is the 6th time in approx. 7 weeks, myself and my family have witnessed these strange lights in the sky from our backyard. It is becoming a nightly look and find. Tonight was the highest concentration to date. At least two occurences, a normal aircraft also appeared in the sky, as reference (moving much slower, blinking lights and audible engine noise). Moving stars are fast, no sound.

On Friday, May 1,2020 I went outside onto my deck at dusk After some minutes at around 9:10 pm Witnessed a small moving light- like a star light moving from the west to east It came towards my position and then faded out within seconds [ 10 - 15 seconds] Then ten minutes later , witnessed another brighter one to the west Much closer - quarter mile away ? This one's direction was from south to north directly west where I sat The brightness reduced dramatically after 5- 8 seconds , then faded out gone ! Then again at 9:35 pm witnessed a third one Resembling again like the first two like a starlight - whitish blue This one came from the northwest heading overhead southeast - faded out Then about 9:55 pm Again I witnessed another one heading the direction of last one witnessed Then after 20- 30 seconds witnessed another one - same direction Then another one following the first two counting them now to three They just kept coming [ 4,5,6,7,8,9-- - 40 +] one at a time like a train of single star lights This was going on for near ten minutes until the last one As I called a friend in neighboring Whitby,Ontario to go out and see these things While watching and talking to him on the phone Navigated him where in the sky to look Then after about near 40 + gone by there were no more Still chatting with my friend by speaker phone After couple minutes - More started to cross the sky - like a second wave Same characteristics in speed and separate distant apart in a line flight path 20 - 30 seconds at a time apart This second line of objects now were three- five degree west Yet still followed southeast direction from northwest Now my friend could see them watching and still chatting by phone After about 20 single objects had passed over Both of us noticed the last one had stopped As if took position to masquerade like a star I do understand about the presence of star link satellites Yet in this episode witnessed feel is a little more then that to report Just theorizing maybe that ALL are NOT star link satellites ? Please note the sky was absolutely clear which is rare here I tried on and off to film them Couple of poor quality videos Thanks for your site to report the bizarre

North Saanich (Canada), BC · Canada

Hello, I am contacting you after an American friend from WA state suggested I do so. I live on Vancouver Island, BC, and witnessed an unusual phenomenon at around 06:49 in the sky this morning... A bright pulsating/flashing light flying fast and low over Saanich Inlet. At first I thought it was a small airplane in the distance we live near the airport and a military helicopter base), but it wasn't making any noise. Then I thought it was a drone....but the light seemed too big, and the speed at which it travelled was very fast. It came from the South end of Saanich Inlet, and was headed over towards Cowichan Bay. The object passed by me so fast, that I couldn't get my video up and running in time. I know it wasn't just me hallucinating after all this COVID-19 isolation or an issue with my eyes, because even the flock of around 50 Stellar Jays which were on our property got startled. I called the airport, as I know they have cameras set up aroud the inlet. Haven’t heard back yet.

Dog became anxious & let it out. North sky at 30-35 degrees above the horizon, stationary flashing strobe green & blue on the left, red orange yellow on right, white underneath. Lights became larger & shape more distinct staying at the same angle, not moving. Lights began to fade away still flashing same sequence. Lights faded into the distance at the same angle & height. Please note, lights did not move. Became larger then smaller over 1/2 hour period. At its most prominent, lights formed a distinct diamond shape. We used Nikon binoculars.

At approximately 10:00pm, I spotted a large white light in the sky, it was very bright. I went outside to inspect it further and the light dimmed gradually. Two small red and green lights were visible on either side of this disc when the bright light dimmed. The disc slowly moved across the sky in a straight line, making no noise . It was absolutely a UFO of some kind. It then disappeared.

I was on the phone with my Grandfather who has been an amateur astronomer and veteran of the Royal Canadian Air Force and had watched the Kelowna sky for years . I saw a sequence of lights similar to stars that would fly out into the sky on their own one at a time and then disappear and then another one would come on the exact same line and disappear exactly the same way the other one came but you would only see one star at a time. At that point I showed my grandfather where they were and we watched and saw similar objects high in the sky above where we saw the original ones. It was almost like the space station coming past and disappearing and then another one coming right after it on the same line 10 in a row You could only see one at a time. Each object continued on their own for about seven or eight seconds and then disappear and then the next one would come after it and go on a perfectly straight symmetrical line of the last object.

Saw many star-like lights travelling across the sky in the mostly the same direction from northwest to southeast and disappearing in the same area of the sky (likely due to the shadow casted by the Earth at that particular region of the sky). The anomaly was when we saw one of these star-like lights coming from a different direction (south to north) and it was approaching another light coming from the northwest. They looked as though they were about to collide and then suddenly, the light coming from the northwest sped up as if it was trying to avoid a collision.

I was walking my dog and looking up at the moon, and from the northwest came a moving satelite. I thought I was looking at stars, until one of them appeared to move, across the sky, overhead, moving South East for like 3 seconds...then followed by another...then followed by another, etc for like a dozen times, all in exact formation, following eachother in a line, like a studded belt. I ran into my place across the street and grabbed my camera, the dog following, curious. I ran back to the site location and the event was still in progress, so a good 2 minutes in duration by then. I attempted photos, but my phone-cam can barely get a shot of the moon; it's too weak. So I continued to observe, wondering about it. A passerby walked up and I accosted him to give a look, and we marvelled over the sight of their continuing number, flying in steady formation, about 3 visible at a time, spread over the sky, in a constant line. As soon as one disappeared into the dis! tance, another would appear from whence the other came. The event lasted about 10 minutes, maybe 15, because I also had time to phone my friend and tell him about it, while it occurred. I've been deflowered! Thank you for reading this far. I was flying my Phantom pro drone around 600 ft up when I saw a black flat half a oval shaped object fly over it but it was about 3000ft high just below the clouds i first thought it was a huge bird but I then noticed it wasn't changing its direction any and was moving perfectly straight as it was on a corse and then realized compared to my drone and the distance farther up it was it looked to be around the size of a small sedan car, it had no moving parts i didn't see any lights just the black bottom of the object it made no sound and it flew off to the northwest I watched it cover roughly about 5-6 miles until it went out of my view. Very strange. Has been very few planes flying lately because of the covid virus lockdown so haven't seen much in the air for past few weeks besides whatever this was.

Sitting on the back deck with my gf and another couple. My gf notices something in the sky and I look. There is what appears to be a strand to light in the sky, my gf says “its like a laser”. The idea of a laser made sense briefly, but then I realized that there is no way there its a laser. I have seen the laser from the local observatory, and this was not a laser. It was bright, the movement of the separate light’s were in unison though. I had a view between the chimney and the tree in my yard from my seat. As the lights traveled across the sky from the chimney to the tree they disappeared. They disappeared after going behind the tree. If it was a craft I would have expected to see the lights continue on, but it disappeared into nothing gradually, one light at a time. Note that the night sky was crystal clear, the stars were bright, new moon in the sky. After the sighting I tried to gauge the size of the item in the sky. I put my arm out and it was about 8 to 9 inches at a arms length away from me. How high in the sky was the object? It could have been about the height of a airplane flying, or a satellite orbiting possibly. The formation looked like : - - — — — -——- — - —- —— - - — - - Size wise, it was about 25deg. I used my arm stretched at arms length and making a fist and then extending my index and pinky fingers too. I can submit photo's and a drawing too, if someone contacts me. I just want to send in this report as it JUST happened. -M

At 5:33 am, I looked out of my south facing basement window and observed 3 distinct spherical lights that formed a triangle with it’s point slightly downward towards the west. It remained in one spot, you could see space between them, which helped shaped the triangle. I only watched it for a few minutes, as I have seen many in that area a few times.

- [ ] Was looking at the Big Dipper April 24/2020 at 4:15 am. Noticed two bright circular objects coming from the north west. At first I thought it might be the satellites from starlink but there were only 2. They were travelling way too fast for modern aircraft and still too fast for satellites. Not only did they change speed but were weaving in and out from each other like two people joy riding. The northern craft was a little behind the southern craft then suddenly sped up again too catch up too southern craft then they both just disappeared. No other air craft around. No sound from either of craft. I estimate their altitude that of the iss. They did look like satellites but again travelling way too fast for a low earth orbit and also they changed speed and directions .

There was a big bright light that in no way resembled a star. About an hour later many small moving lights moved from the site of the big light. There were many small lights as they started to move into a triangle formation. The periodically got brighter and dimmed.

Saw 5 objects flying in a V formation that I initially thought were birds because of their organic movement, they were fluttering a bit instead of flying smoothly like a satellite or plane. But they were glowing, lit up like balls of yellowish light so they couldn’t have been birds – not any I’d ever seen. It was 1:15am and very dark out, no moon or cloud cover. The objects appeared in the eastern sky, flew overhead, and I lost track of them towards the western horizon over houses; this took about 8-10 seconds and there was no noise. One of the 5 objects was more erratic than the others, kind of jumping in and out of formation. I was looking up to view the Lyrid meteor shower, but these objects were not like shooting stars/meteors (and I didn’t see any of those in the ~5-10 minutes that I was looking).

There was 6 very far away as they looked like stars moving back and forth and would circle each other. Sometimes they came close to each other flying around. There was like a flash and one would disappeared. Others just flew away out of sight. Too far to see actual details. Looked like stars were moving but stars don't move like that.

10 seemingly connected lights flew high above. It was a line and the lights were moving perfectly together. It appeared northwest and flew straight, not very fast, for approximately 30 seconds, then faded in the southeast direction. It looked like a very slow shooting star. I was frtunate enough to get it clearly on video.

Stopped at intersection of highways 6 and 39, in Manitoba, Canada. Looked up into night sky and saw it was clear. Saw a single light, which appeared to be a commercial airliner, traveling from west to ea st. However it was then followed by another light on same flight path and speed. Then a continuous line of lights followed, all travelling at same spacing and speed in single file. Only 2 of the lights broke from the path of flight to speed up and begin to pass the craft in front. They proceeded from one horizon to the other, west to east for approximately 15 minutes. I lost count after about 30 craft. I believe there were probably over 40 to 45 craft all told but I did lose count at 30, as I walked around my vehicle.
