The report, as filed
At first I thought it may have been a bird behind a tiny cloud but then it changed direction at speed and move way too fast and was way too high. It went left then right and veered slightly. It then just disappeared completely in a blue sky. I watched for any more sighting and nothing. it was in the South. I'm not entirely sure what I saw but thought it best to report anyway. The NZDF released its UFO files in 2010; further records answer to the Official Information Act 1982.
