The report, as filed
I saw anywhere from 7-10 dots of light going really fast. Faster than airplanes and they would go in one direction for about 5-6 seconds and stop and go back in the other direction. After about 5-ish minutes of watching them disappear and reappear, I saw a flash of white light in that general direction. Like if you stood on one side of a football field and I was on the other side and you flash a flashlight at me for a quarter of a second.

I was on my porch at 9 pm looking at the Moon when the 15 lights appeared in the sky and the craft began doing maneuvers in which I could see it was disk shaped with lights around the edges of the craft. It then slowly moved across the sky to the Northwest until I could no longer see the lights. There was no color to the lights and I heard no sounds. I am a graduate student in psychology at Fort Hays State University. I enjoy watching the stars at night and this was the first object I've seen that I have no idea what it was.

I stepped out back and saw a straight line procession of "Stars" ... I called a friend 30 miles to the south of me and he and his wife saw them too. I called my mother, 60 miles north of me and she could not see them.

While walking the dog around 7 pm, looked up to see an object move from south to north. I watched it for 2-3 seconds. It had no color – it was black or even opaque, and had 3-4 very dim, shimmering lights. It almost seemed as if those lights were reflections of city lights, and not from the object itself, but rather reflecting off a dark or opaque surface. The shape was indeterminate. Given the speed and size, I would have guessed it was a small consumer drone, flying a couple hundred feet off the ground, maybe 100 feet from me. But it was completely silent. It also moved with the speed of a small jet, but again, completely silent. It was out of my sight in 2 seconds, flying to the north.

I was outside talking on the phone when I noticed the 3 lights appearing and disappearing. I immediately called my husband and kids, the lights were maneuvering in the sky. We saw them multiple times in different parts of of the sky, they were the color orange. This lasted for about 15 minutes. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information.
