The report, as filed
At 5:30 pm I saw a white cigar shaped object flying over head. It appeared to be around same height as other planes fly frequently over our house. It was white had a black band around middle. It made no audible sound and could not see wings or a tail. It was not far enough away that we wouldn’t be able to see these things. It moved along at around the same speed as other aircraft till it went behind trees and we lost sight. I’m sure this was not an airplane. If relative to a star or the moon it would be the moon. Could see no lights. It was in the east sky and headed north east as best I could tell.

As we approached, we lost sight behing the trees and buildings. We then turn right onto 292. 2-3 minutes later we see just past Mooney Hill road we see the same lights in a triangle hovering a few hundred feet over tue trees, remaining in one spot. It was raining pretty decently at the time but the object was far below the clouds. After continuing down 292 for another minute, we lost sight of the object behind a mountain.
