The report, as filed
On back patio looking north sky high in the sky a moving orb of light quick and then turning into a brilliant glowing circle of white and the some blue with movement on the sides and then disappearing. No clouds. Seemed not too far away, and it could have been large.

Looked like a group of stars all one Color tone with a central star. It hovered close and silently. It took off east. Then “ parked “ in the sky. I think it’s still there. It seems small in relation to a helicopter. Hard to estimate scale but it was low in the sky. It’s like trying to camouflage as a star but I can see it is different.

I have never made any of this kind of report before, but I saw the most shocking, usual sight in my backyard back in May 2022 and just found your reporting website. I sent out an email with the details to what I thought was another reporting site the night I witnessed the event, but this appears more official and may be of value to you. The images that I saw that night have stuck with me and I didn’t even need to review my previously sent email as it was so startling, but have copied what I previously wrote below. I was out in our yard in the Westsyde area of Kamloops, BC. 9:36 pm Tuesday May 10, 2022 when I noticed a group of revolving lights of varying colors (yellow, red, blue, green) in a triangular formation in the Eastern sky. The formation was highly visible spreading out for about a 1/2 mile low in the Eastern sky. The lights then started heading North West coming closer to where I was standing then started heading North as a large triangular group spreading out across the sky then started climbing higher and higher up into the atmosphere until they rapidly disappeared from sight. There was perhaps 8 or 9 lights of these varying colors all spread out in a formation. This went on for about 5 minutes. I ran to the house multiple times to try to get my husband to come and see, but he didn’t know where I was calling from and by the time he came outside they were gone. I have no idea what this was, but it sure wasn’t a plane or formation drones especially given the speed that it went up into up the sky and disappeared.

Witnessed 3 Gold balls with a headlight on the top right corner, sitting to the south at 400 foot altitude (guess?) About three blocks distance. Total silence then a dash 8 commercial plane flew over it on takeoff. Maybe at 1000 feet? Very dark night, more than usual. I shot 6 quick pics and was not used to my phone, couldn't use video. Temperature maybe 0° to +2° Celsius, no wind. Had later looked at pics and first three were all different, one object at original location with two objects to left in different shape than what I viewed. I was by myself, no witnesses.
