As reported

Formation over Brunswick, MD

A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.

The report, as filed

Quick moving bright lights. In synch. No sounds at all and flashed different colors. Happened during fireworks but very easy to tell its not fireworks nor a plane or helicopters in formation. Multiple witnesses. Dissappeared and reappeared in minutes on walk to apartment. It seemed to change speeds a bit but not a lot. The objects also seemed fairly close as in not extremely high but the objects still seemed smaller than crafts known of and the flight pattern was so consistent between the two lights that I truly don't believe it's drones being flown as the line between the 2 was absolutely perfect and did not change at all during flight. [NUFORC annotation: Drone - Possible]

Held as-reported from National UFO Reporting Center (record NUFORC #176601). Witness text is preserved verbatim, including its spelling; nothing is edited beyond formatting.

Ask for the records

What would the paper say?

For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.
