The report, as filed
I was taking photos of my daughter and grand daughter on the back porch of my cabin on top of the mountain and something flying by in the distance at about the same level I was, flashed (reflection from sun on top I assumed) a very bright light and I hurriedly walked to the other end of the porch to get a view before it went behind the trees and disappeared. It was a dark object flying in a westerly direction. I heard no sound. It flashed at least one more time while I watched. Honestly, it looked more like a big giant bird than any plane or helicopter and if it hadn't flashed that bright light (reflection) I would have identified it as such.
