Flash over Barnet, VT

Orange flashes of light, varying positions in sky (not as high as stars, but high above mountains nearby). The light flared & then disappeared (did not rise or fall). Once two flashes appeared almost at the same time in the same place (first one flared, second one flared before first disappeared), & then a red light moved away toward the West, & the red light was brief but visible longer than the orange; the red light was much smaller diameter & did not flash as one would see on an airplane. The sky was dark, spotty clouds to the East, stars present high in the sky. These orange lights were not like fireworks nor like aircraft lights. They appeared to be larger than a star, & very bright orange. They appeared & were gone almost immediately. 7 total.
