The report, as filed
While visiting friends in Venice, Fl. We decided to go out to the beach. All four of us witnessed a light crossing the sky horizontally. The object had a large tail behind it. The observation lasted a few minutes until the object faded away.

Single green light moving within landing flight path used minutes earlier. Came from N. Direction and brightened, flashed,moved at sharp angles, appeared to hit ground near county office bldg to my E. Dropping in 5 steps from 1k feet it then reappeared brighter above the scene,then disappeared after putting on an airshow with un natural movements. If it was a drone, which cannot move like this, it was a dangerous place to fly. Official, or police presence noted afterward as well as a helicopter making circles over area half hour later. Not seen since.

With binoculars, the object looked like a crystal ball. It was very large. It eventually seemed to burn and go dim.

In Venice, FL I observed unidentified flying object(s) tonight 9/21/22 roughly 8:52pm Eastern time heading in the direction that I would estimate to be SSW. Object(s) were observed from the ground and appeared to be one to three objects in flight and relatively low altitude traveling at jet speed but completely silent. Three lights was visable, none were flashing. There was some naturally occurring haze in the sky.

It was a spring night and my father and I were walking around the block before going to bed. We were within sight of home to finish the walk and enjoying a nice chat. We both have an interest in UFOs, space, aliens, and engineering. My dad is a petroleum engineer and I am a mechanical engineer. My grandfather and dad’s father was an electric engineer and did work on the Apollo Project in a contractor capacity. There was a lull in the conversation about a range of subjects which did sometimes include space and UFO type mutual interests. We were both looking up at the sky approx 70 degrees up walking southward and 20 degrees to the west when we suddenly saw something neither of us have ever seen in the sky before. The craft or object appeared like a very large (bigger than most airplanes visible in the airspace normally by a factor greater than 10) string made out of light. It remained visible for approximately 2 seconds and completely disappeared. We both said, “DID you see THAT!?” because it was such a clear and exciting thing to witness. We spent the remainder of the walk describing to each other the exact same craft/phenomena we both witnessed. There were no negative effects of the encounter and it was just a cool thing to witness firsthand. I definitely cannot think of any “rational” explanation or mistaken identity for what we witnessed besides a hologram or advanced light craft.

My husband and I were sitting on our front porch facing North. I noticed this blinding light just hovering in the sky. As I tried to focus my eyes on it, it seemed to change from white to orange and then took on an asterisk/starburst effect as it moved very slowly away from us as if it was using the tree in our yard to hide. When we got up to move down the driveway to see it better, it began moving slowly east. I tried to pull out my phone to get it on camera but you can only see a tiny dot of light. Then it started speeding to the west before we lost sight of it. We are in a small neighborhood with a lot of trees and our house obscured our view at the end.
