The report, as filed
We were on I 85.. got off at exit 62 and ran parallel to interstate. Went about 2 miles and it was just hanging there. It was higher than a cell tower.. but was not a plane and was NOT MOVING. Completely stationary. Extremely BRIGHT. It was long. We did not pull over. I can’t believe others did not see it. It was just BIZARRE. We got away from it but it was still hovering because we could see it behind us.

It moved almost like lights were attached to the end of a helicopters wings but wayyyy to high in the sky and fast to possibly be a helicopter plus it was silent. I thought it was really really cool
