This is a confirmed revised statement: I am an armed Security Officer posted at the Hillsborough County Child Services in the Carrollwood area of Tampa, Fl. On Monday 09 January 2023 at 2350 hours (11:50pm), I was grtting prepared to do a golf cart patrol of the facility when I saw an orange glow in the sky in the Carrollwood area of Tampa, Fl, just South of Hillsborough County Child Services ( Lake Magdline rd. Entrance). Then almost immediately 2 smaller craft broke away from the center of what appeared to be a mothership heading in separate directions. About 30 seconds later, I saw the same large orange glow to the southeast for approximately 6 seconds before it completely disappeared at 0000 hours (12:00am) Tuesday morning 10 January 2023. I stopped for about 2 mins waiting to see if it would reappear but it did not. Unfortunately, there was no one else with me or around me to witness this unusual event. I looked up the number to report this event and made phone contact with the national UFO reporting center who advised me to file this report in depth using their online reporting tool, and to contact the media outlets. I have been an overnight Officer at this post since August 2022 and I have never seen such a thing before. Due to privacy and legal reasons, I would like to keep the company name and information out of this report. My contact info is provided below.
