Circle over Ambler, PA

A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.

The report, as filed

Took the dog out as usual in the AM and noticed what I thought was a star . Thought it was brighter and more yellow than usual so I stared at it for a few seconds. It must’ve know I was looking because then it immediately moved diagonally up to the right and disappeared! Never have seen anything in the sky nice as fast as it did and the weird angle it took was beyond strange. I looked everyday after that in the same spot and saw shooting stars for two days in a row. There was no sound. Almost a month later to the date and we heard a tuning fork in the sky but couldn’t see anything.

Held as-reported from National UFO Reporting Center (record NUFORC #173859). Witness text is preserved verbatim, including its spelling; nothing is edited beyond formatting.

Ask for the records

What would the paper say?

For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.
