The report, as filed
A very large plane like cylinder with now wing Hovering in place at around 5,000 to 8,000 feet. The object then radiated a brilliant bright light that moves over the entire craft left to right. My ex, who was an Army Ranger was in my passenger seat, I was driving but we watched it. What caught my attention was how low, at first what I thought was a commercial airline, as well it was in a non flight path in our rural area. I then quickly realized it was hovering and not moving then it started it light show and after minutes of watching it, it vanished before our eyes. Almost like it went into stealth mode.
